Boy, we already got Trickster. Nothing BHVR pulls out can be less scary than that.
-
The bloodweb needs to be reworked, at least to some extent. Perk tiers make no sense and pollutants such as fog offerings make the grind even more painful.
-
At one point the devs mentioned adding a bot in case a survivor DCs. I guess this will somehow fix this problem.
-
Is this a list on how well the killers perform or is it how bad they are in personal taste?
-
All-Kill, all the way.
The killer is garbage. His power is garbage. His design is garbage. His lore is garbage. His shoes are garbage. His perks are decent tho

This is an exaggeration.
I forgot the last time I went against a SWF with these builds, not to mention, all 4 of them using it....
On the other hand, Blights running nothing but Ruin + Undying + Tinkrer + BBQ / Other perk is very very common at red ranks.
Then that's on you. On the worst day, I am having sweaty SWF on 7 out of 10 games. On the best of days, it's only 2 out of 10.
-
I just like feeling the fantasy with my killers. I like to put myself on the killer's perspective and go hunting those pesky survivors that got into my land.
I am a chemist irl, so sometimes I like throwing toxic gas bottles as The Clown. In another moment, I like to pretend that I am an enraged ghost as The Spirit.
I know that this comment made me sound like a murderer, but I am actually pretty chill.
-
I think that Myers at this point doesn't make sense anymore and needs a full rework, not just some buffs. He is the weakest killer in the game and his kit just feels outdated.
His tier 1 doesn't make sense existing and is just a slowdown for an already weak killer.
His tier 3 is simply underwhelming for it to be considered "the peak of his power".
He is outclassed in every way by the other stealthy stalker, Ghostface.
There is a limited amount of stalk he can get in a single game, which means he can only get to tier 3 only a couple of times in the game.
The game basically forces him to slug since his tier 3 doesn't stop decaying when he picks up a survivor.
-
My builds normally consists of 3 gen slowdown (normally PGTW, Thanatophobia, Surge, Eruption and Dying Light) perks and 1 tracking perk (Discordance or BBQ). Even if the devs buffs all the other perks that are normally considered bad, I don't see myself using other stuff until gens start going slower.
-
If you just prefer to chill avoiding the killer and smashing some gens then use more stealth and repair speed perks, like Technician, Prove Thyself, Diversion, Poised and Distortion.
If you happen to enter in a chase with a killer, you can, instead of looping, use perks that help you deceive the killer and break the chase. I am talking about Quick and Quiet, Dance With Me, Iron Will and Deception.
-
I have been feeling that the next killer is going to be a paragraph, and some people have said it as well. For a paragraph with only one killer and maybe a map, the only possibility I can think of is Springtrap, as the franchise has no survivors I can think can come with a full release.
If it is Candyman or Alien, I can only see them both having a full chapter with a map, survivor and a killer.
-
I was about making another thread, but then I found this one, lol.
All dailies can be completed in one single game, but for some reason, the daily from Nemesis takes 4 matches to actually complete it. I don't know what they were thinking when they made this.

Legion above Oni and Huntress?
That's a ######### hot take.
Oni and Huntress are very overrated.
-
I just like making tier lists.
-
I like Gideon, Hawkins, Midwich and RPD, fight me.
-
I feel attacked whenever I get a daily on Huntress. The killer just sucks.
-
No Bloodborne, no like.
-
It's is still a 110% killer with no map pressure and mediocre anti-loop.
-
I have a seizure everytime I read "Lampikin Lane - Haddonfield".
-
Depends if it is original or licensed.
If it's original, I am gonna bet on the vampire.
But if it's licensed, I wishing for Springtrap. I am not a FNAF fan, I just think that Springtrap would be cool in DbD as a paragraph that comes with a map.
-
This is the ultimate tier list and if you disagree you are dumb (just kidding, don't kill me).
The two perks that are hidden on S tier is Corrupt Intervention and Surge.
Edit: Rancor has now swapped spots with Bitter Murmur. Carry on.
-
You're welcome.
-
"Fun" is a completely subjective term. I, for example, find incredibly fun playing killers normally considered boring, like Hag, Twins and Spirit. On the other hand, I hate playing killers that people normally consider "fun", like Oni, Myers and Huntress.
I suppose this also applies for survivors too, as a Claudette who likes to play in stealth is probably going to prefer playing against a Hag than against a Doctor.
-
As a Killer, I say that Suffocation Pit is one of the most unfair maps in the game. That middle section has 3 or 4 loops very close to each other, which means that a survivor with good rooting can easily turn that section in a infinite loop. Do not underestimate TLs. They may be a weak loop when they are isolated, but If they are close to other loops they become really strong, specially in Suffocation Pit.
-
I want a killer who feels unique in what they do, like Doctor or Twins.
-
Spirit is incredibly fun, has a high kill celling and is the second strongest killer in the game. Also, her perks are good. I would definetely recommend her.
Blight is also strong and his perks are good as well. He is fun, but not so fun as Spirit.
Oni is weak, unfun and his perks are garbage so I don't recommend him at all. On the bright side, he is the easiest of those 3.
-
For balance purposes, I think It would be better to always assume that the survivors are on coms than just once in a few games. Since SWF already break the game, lets balance it around them.
-
Actually, I think that Myers should get a complete rework, not just a buff. Out of killer cast, he is definitely the weakest and feels the most obsolete.
-
I prefer DbD for the fact that the game has a lot of different killers with different powers so it keeps itself fresh.
With that said, I find survivor gameplay from F13 actually enjoyable, while on DbD I never even touch survivor.
-
I ship anything that has yaoi in it. But I have to say that I love Joey x Frank the most.
-
Yes, after years gen still go terrible fast. It is possible to complete all the 5 gens in about 4 minutes without anything to make gens go quicker, just efficiency. To add insult to injury, toolboxes make this time even shorter. To add more insult to injure, perks like Prove Thyself and Resilience can make the repair speed even quicker. So yeah, in a nutshell, if the survivors just want to go through all the gens as fast as they can, there is not really something you can do other than just accept defeat and try to get at least one kill.
-
When I am playing killer, I find fun when the gens last long enough so I can have some gameplay. It doesn't mean I have to win, but I want at least to have an opportunity to win.

False. Eccentric personalities and celebs are just regular people at the end of the day.
Its you as an individual that distances yourself from them. Seeing them as something they are not.
If you say that an eccentric celebrity counts as regular every day person, so it falls on that category of "hidden killer" then almost every killer on the game also fits in it, not only Trickster.
Doctor was a neuroscientist. Who never met a researcher in college? Nurse was well... A Nurse, someone who you are supposed to rely on your time of need. Amanda was simply a drug addict and Freddy was a predator. In the end, the idea of a Korean idol that kills people is just as far-fetched as a mad scientist or sadist torturer.

Beautiful people are more likely to be trusted by others.
Imo it is more fitting for this "hidden" killer to be handsome and making his backstory more believable. A person looking like a rat wouldn't be surprising or shocking to become a killer.
The idea of a hidden killer works on other settings, but not on DbD. When taking the concept of a killer that is supposed to blend in with the society, the story normally happens to be on a regular place because then you will not be expecting when the threat appears, and when it appears, it should cause you paranoia since now you know that you can't trust everyone. DbD doesn't work like that. On this game, you spawn at a random and creepy location, which may be an abandoned hospital or a farm with a lot of dead animals. On this setting, you should instantly be able to identify who the killer is, as they should look too unfamiliar from the other survivors or straight up looking messed up in some way to give an instant sense of fear. Even the most human killers, like the Plague or The Pig have that element that instantly causes some distress on the player. On Pig's case, it is the rotting pig head and on Plague, it is the ancient looks and her disgusting skin. Trickster doesn't look so instantly threatening, neither he is in a setting that builds him up as a mastermind or something.

Why does he have to be disfigured to be scary? Regular looking people are some of the scariest things out there.
Because you never see it coming. You're what? 40% likely to be murdered by a relative or close friend than a stranger? Regular Humans are truely the scariest things on the planet. Have you ever seen a Karen video? Traumatising.
False. Trickster is not a regular person. Being a K-pop star makes him too distant from a regular person's reality, so he doesn't fit on the category of a "close friend" or "relative". Also, his behavior, his looks, his way of throwing knives and even his mori is too "exotic" to feel like someone who could be close to you. Unless, of course, you work with eccentric celebrities on a daily basis, which I doubt you do.

Thats your opinion. Personally, I ndfind the entire concept of some pretty, well dressed entertainer ripping my insides out while laughing about it to be extremely intimidating, but perhaps it's because I'm aware of just how much freedom fame and wealth bring.
Some twat with a botched nose job would look just like that - a twat with a botched nose job. No-one is going to want to assume someone like that isn't a serial killer, he's not beautiful enough to have fame armour.
Just because someone is not beautiful, doesn't mean that they can't have fame armor. A twat with a botched face could have as much of a personality as Trickster has while also fitting alongside the rest of the cast, looking creepy to everyone.

That's the point of the character, he was a serial killer hidden by fame. And it's not like this is a scary horror game, it hasn't been for years and it's certainly not the fault of Trickster.
Just because he takes the concept of a celebrity that kills people while hidden, doesn't mean that he can't be at least a little bit freaky or scary. He could be, for example, a star with its face botched by plastic surgery, something like Michael Jackson or someone similar.
-
I would put this as a temporary solution to the game, at least until the game starts to get balanced around SWF. You know, that whole buff solo and buff killer stuff.
If this option gets added into the game and killers deliberately decide to wait in queues twice as long, then it just shows even more that SWF is problematic.
-
Twins, Hag and Spirit are some of my favorite killers. They are incredibly fun and strong as well.
Blight has been growing on me. He is also fun and strong, but not as much as the above.
Trickster is very weak. He is more fun than Huntress though and his perks are okayish and will be buffed.
Personally, the only one on this list that I wouldn't buy is Oni. IMO he is both weak and unfun to play as.
-
I mean, I have already heard that Spirit is braindead. Nothing surprises me anymore.
-
I vote to decrease the prices of the nodes based on your prestige level.
-
No map pressure + Mediocre 1v1 + 110% ms = Possibly the worst killer in the entire game.
I would make 2 changes to him so he can at least be considered a playable killer. The first would be to make it so his main event doesn't expire if you don't use it. The second would be that the laceration meter doesn't decay naturally with time, instead, the survivors would have to manually remove the knives from their bodies. Of course, with more knives, this action will take longer to perform.
Currently, the devs are just giving him only slight buffs, but Trickster's case is so severe that he would need really beefy buffs to become viable.
-
I am a Doctor main and I am almost always running Franklin's, but that's not only on Doctor, but on every killer that I am playing. I just think that Franklin's is very underrated and one of the best perks in the game, especially after the small rework.
-
I have got the Mr. Puddles body part for Clown. If I am lucky, I may be able to get the head piece too!
-
If I am seeing a Nea, Yui or a Zarina, I am instantly putting my best add-ons on. 80% of the games, these two survivors play in a toxic manner.
-
I like doing killer rotation. Sometimes I like to challenge myself with a random generated build. I would like playing with friends, but there is no such 2v6 game mode and I really dislike playing survivor.
-
Deathslinger all the way. His hitboxes are fair and when you get a hit with him is because of your own good aim. He also shots faster which gives him much more control. He is a superior killer in every way.
-
I think it's time for an aquatic monster theme chapter.
-
As for someone who did all of the Killer's adepts, the only thing that I would change is to have the achievement be given on a 4k instead of a double pip.
Adepts are supposed to be the ultimate challenge that shows your mastery over a certain character. The bigger the challenge, the more significant becomes the achievement.
-
Trapper is better. Both killers can get their powers countered by playing smart. The difference is that if Trapper's traps fail, you can at least play normally as a M1 115% killer.
Also, Trapper can shut down places with his traps, which creates a little bit of map pressure. Trickster gives you only 1v1 power which is not that good tbh.
-
I am a Doctor main, but my favorite add-on comes from Clown. Flask of Bleach is an add-on that makes the Clown experience 110% more enjoyable. It is arguably his best add-on and sometimes I wish it was base-kit.
I also really like using Tempered Timer + Crate of Gears on Pig since getting head pops is always fun.
