I never needed it to rely on it in the first place, so the nerf didnt bother me at all. This really only affects bad players and players who were abusing it by using it as an offensive tool, rather than a defensive one. Like, it's still a free escape that the Killer cant do anything about during the endgame, so its not like it it's useless now, it's still very strong.

Z-Tier

Trickster is the worst Killer since original Freddy, dude. He absolutely needs to be revamped fast and should not have released in this state.
-
I mean, BHVR was still bad even before the pandemic, so it's not the pandemic that is causing BHVR to be bad, they just always are, though it certainly isnt helping things.
-
I'll try to save if it seems safe to do so, but if I think there's even a slight chance of me getting downed, I am outta there. Not gonna throw the game just for a -chance- to save somebody else, that's just plain stupid.

I REALLY want to believe this guy has potential but my god, how on Earth is he 110% while Plague is 115%?
I still want him to keep that 24m terror radius but PLEASE devs, PLEASE increase his movement speed to 115%.
Honestly he'd still be bad at 115. Just play Plague or P.Head at that point, you'll get better results with a similar playstyle, but less completely terrible.
-
He was trash in PTB, and they didnt fix any of his major issues, so he's still trash now.
-
I just randomly happened upon it back while it was still in pre-release while looking for something new to play.
-
Clown, Legion, or Trapper, are all bottom 3, but which one of them is the worst really depends on the map and setup.
Trickster also seems like he's gonna be bottom-tier unless they make some substantial changes to his base kit between PTB and full release, which I doubt BHVR will do, so he'll likely be joining those 3 soon enough.

A lot of the perks and powers are unused due several issues
Survivor Perks: Aside from a small handful of stinkers, most Survivor perks are pretty good. The problem is that there also exist a large handful of Survivor perks that are just straight up overpowered and are generally considered "too good to not use", making all the good Survivor perks go mostly unused.
Killer Perks: Killer perks have pretty much the exact opposite problem of Survivor perks, where only a very small amount of them are actually useful against decent Survivors, and the rest are borderline useless outside of maybe once-in-a-100 matches situation.
Killer Powers: Most Killer powers just straight up cant deal with a competent team of players reliably and have to basically just hope the survivors make multiple massive and consequetive misplays every match, and several powers can just be completley crippled by bad map RNG, weather it be the map as a whole or just tile generation/placement.
If these issues were ever properly fixed, it might as well be entirely new content anyways.
-
Mostly depends on the Killer, but Thrilling is better in general. BBQ is mostly just good for the bloodpoints, which is just a bonus thing and not a in-match advantage.
-
Cypress mori should be base kit, but not Ebony.
-
He is DLC. And he's not even remotley overpowered, he's like on the low end of mid tier/high end of low tier, and that is with his absolute best addon+perk setups and on a good map for him.
-
Hilariously underpowered and poorly designed. I really dont know how they thought this power was acceptable.
-
If there was to be RE crossover, Nemesis would be the obvious choice for multiple reasons. I want the original Nemesis though, his remake redesign just makes him look kind of goofy.
-
It is a massive problem, but there is no real way to fix it, short of removing SWF entirely, which obviously isnt gonna happen.
-
High C or low B
-
Still pretty low-tier.
-
Nurse has already been over-nerfed.

The difference is that Huntress/DS only need one shot to injure someone. Trickster needs EIGHT. Also, Pyramid Head.
Not just eight, eight -minimum- because of the decay.
Also, Huntress and Slinger are both 100% accurate, while Trickster has deviation on his projectiles. Having 60 knives doesnt really matter if like 75% are gonna miss if you arent at basically point blank range.
-
Absolutely not, especially not with complete trashfire the SCP wiki and it's community has become in the last few years.

But what about Oni?
Oni has a startup animation when he actives his super mode, and his instadown attack has a long windup.
Shape just turns the corner, sees you for 0.2 miliseconds and then you are downed because somebody else already fed him up to 99%.
-
Removing perk tiers and just making all perks into their tier 3 versions by default.
Edit: Also, the ability to sell things you dont want for 2/3rds of their purchase price.
-
I'm not a fan of going up against Shape. I dont think he's overpowered or anything (he's actually kind of underpowered), its just aggravating because no other Killer power really directly punishes you for -other players- playing badly like his does.
-
Being able to stalk auras of survivors who have broken LoS is overpowered, but the other changes are good.
-
PTB is only available for the Steam version of DBD.
-
I thought of rats a while ago, but one issue I see with it is that rats dont really make loud noises, unlike a crow's cawing
A better alternative would be to put the Crows in cages and have them rattle their cage instead of flying off.
-
Bobby Barrows, Clock Tower.
-
MoM is already extremely powerful as it is, it absolutley does not need a buff. Making Distortion be able to get tokens via totems is good though.
-
Generally Billy is better on most maps, but on some maps LF is better.
-
The Artist is what I was thinking. It fits on multiple levels.
-
Laurie's model looks so bad that she looks more like a crazy cat lady instead of the 17-year old that she's supposed to be, does that count?
-
Ricochet basekit would be a good start for sure.

Well it stans to reason somebody would come along with this attitude in such situations. That sounds like a true survivor.
I'm honestly really shocked it took this long. The whole "screw everybody else" type character is a super common thing in survival and horror movies, it is honestly baffling it took until the game's 25th Survivor to finally get one.
-
I hope we get more Survivors that are just utter scumbags.
-
He's really just terrible. The power is unusable at most loops, you need to hit them so many times, and the fact that the buildup fades away to is just the sewage icing on the trash cake. That's not even to mention that you cant even choose to use his special ability when you want, since it depletes on it's own even when you aren't using it.
-
New Survivor is alright. I dont really have any strong feelings about her one way or the other.
Gameplay-wise, Trickster is just abysmally bad, they need make some major buffs to him because right now it looks like he's destined for trash-tier. Aesthetically, his default color scheme is just plain hideous, hopefully he'll have some less god-awful cosmetics in the shop when the chapter launches. Also, his throwing animation looks really goofy as hell, he just looks so ridiculous doing it.
-
I think its kinda funny that Windstorm has been added to Wraith's base kit twice now.
First when oldWindstorm gave you a post-decloak speed boost, now with the new Windstorm that boosts the during-cloak speed boost.

Leatherface's map is technically Grim Pantry, since they came out at the same time and it's a cannibal village, even though he's always associated with Coldwind Farm.
Ghost Face came out around the same time as the variations of Badham Preschool, which technically makes those his map. Cheap and boring? Yes, but it's the truth.
So that leaves Blight and Twins as the only Killers without a map of their own. Blight this makes sense for, as he was initially a Survivor wandering the realms, but the Twins don't make as much sense.
Though they came out at the same time, I wouldnt say it's his map. Grim Pantry was in the artbook, so it was planned out long before BHVR probably even got the Leatherface license. Plus, Temple of Purgation and Father Campbell's have assets unique to and associated with their killers, but Grim Pantry is just an extension of Hag's "kidnapped by swamp cannibals" backstory.

Yes I would love a Sawyer map but the only issue I could see with that, is it looking too similar to the Thompson farm. But I'm sure they could make it look and feel unique.
It would be nothing like the Thompson House/ Coldwind. The house layout is totally different, plus there's no massive cornfields featured in TTCM.
-
No unique Realm, but had a new map for an existing realm added with them - Clown, Plague, Oni
No new map at all - Leatherface, Ghostface, Blight, Twins
"Do you think that every killer should have their own map?"
I would -really- like a Sawyer House realm for Bubba.
-
Addons that completley change the Killer's power shouldnt be addons, they should be "Alt-Powers".
You press the big power icon in the loadout (next to the addon slots) and can swap between them and the normal power freely. This should also be done with all the joke "nerf yourself for extra BP" addons (Speed Limiter, Padded Jaws, ect) as well.

I agree with it being stronger for survivors than killers. But you could argue the same thing for branches could you not? Obviously when used in tangent together, they become pretty OP, making it really hard for killers if there are four branches in a game. Usually you have to either have Iron Grasp or some sort of basement build in order to win in that scenario.
But I think it would be a neat idea, especially considering you don't really see a lot of people using most of the offerings apart from BPs, with the occasional Mori or Map offering.
I obviously don't know the logistics of it, but as both a survivor and killer main, I think it would be a pretty neato idea!
I dont think Branches are good for the game either to be honest. Again, I think all gameplay affecting addons are inherently bad since Survs get 4 slots, while Killers just get 1.
-
Actually, I am suprised there is still not a Killer-equivilant to Ace In The Hole. You think that would be an obvious thing to make, but it's still not in the game. Gives you random Addons if you dont have any already, plus lets you keep your addons if you kill at least 4/3/2 survivors (Tier 1/2/3). It would be pretty funny/irritating if you were trying to run it and then ended up randomly getting like Speed Limiter or something instead of a good or even decent addon.
-
I mean yeah, its kind of a dick move, but it's not really something worth geting upset over. You can just alt-tab or do something while waiting to bleed out, plus its just basically the killer screwing themselves out of points.
-
Any kind of gameplay-affecting offerings are an inherently bad idea since Survivors get a combined total of 4 Offering slots, while the Killer has just 1. Plus for your idea specifically, the Survivor version of the perk is way, way, way stronger than the Killer equivilent.
A 3 gen can be broken by playing safe and carefully. It's boring and really tedious, but not impossible.
Meanwhile the Killer generally cant really do anything if the gens are a fairly good distance apart and there are at least 2 Survivors left.
-
All this neon stuff and the "rewind" teaser makes me think the Killer is gonna be movement-focused, so I could imagine the Killer getting a speed boosting perk, like PWYF. Maybe a Gentrap-type perk like Dragons Grip, where if a Survivor touches the gen after it's kicked, the Survivor screams and the Killer gets like a 15% speed boost for 15 seconds.
-
He's better than he used to be, but he's still bad, yeah.

What i tell you i knew one of you tryhards would come sooner or later. Git gud isnt helping it is being an immature dickweed who only spends his entire life in front of a ######### screen (not that i care anyways)
You seem awfully upset for somebody who claims to not care.
