All they need to do is make dead Survivors give Thana stacks. Currently you lose the stack when they die and it's dumb.
-
Yeah it's kinda counter-intuitive isn't it? Like many others here, I just farmed for this challenge.
-
Everyone suggesting Overcharge when you can just hit the skill check as you run away from the gen lol.
-
I don't think he's better than Huntress, but he sure does lack counterplay in chase so he can feel quite unfair.
-
For reference, Sloppy Butcher is a perk that applies the Mangled effect and that's it. You want Blood Echo to inflict mangled, exhaustion, hemorrhage, AND a repair penalty? With no cooldown? It'd be the most broken perk in the game.
-
I honestly like the challenge. It doesn't require me to use a perk or play a certain way to get it. I can play how I want to and still get it done naturally. I get why you'd think it's boring though.
-
True story. I have to crank up my brightness and use an overlay to actually see on The Game. I feel sorry for people who can't do the same. I imagine playing that map on console is hell lol.

The cooldown is actually too long imo, it takes what? 4 seconds to 1 blink, 8 seconds for the another? also her add-ons are trash just like demogorgon's add-ons, dont help too much, have low effectivines
The cooldown is 3 seconds to charge 1 blink. Keep in mind the timer starts while in fatigue, so you already have 1 blink up by the time fatigue is over. It's really not that long.
The point of the change was to make her more add-on reliant. Remember how old Nurse could EZ 4K without add-ons? Yeah you can't do that anymore and you shouldn't have been able to in the first place.
Try using the recharge time add-ons and you'll find it's quite balanced.

Well that's just a case of git gud to your teammates
It is, but I wish it didn't happen so often. Solo Queue struggle is real!

There is. Its called losing 3 kills. Losing points. And depipping
Sure, if the Survivors are coordinated and competent. I've been face-camped at rank 1 with Kindred equipped, and my teammates will still not rush gens in time and the Killer still gets a 3K.
-
I really don't feel like the cooldown is that long. There are even add-ons to reduce it. If anything you should be complaining about the long list of bugs Nurse has. She is still the best Killer in the game when not bugged.
-
Mostly the 4 second stun every time you use Feral Frenzy.
-
Despite any tips I can give you, indoor maps are naturally the most difficult for Nurse, so don't feel bad if you don't do well on them.
It seems like your biggest weakness is tracking, so run a full tracking perk build. Discordance, BBQ, I'm All Ears, Nurse's Calling, and Infectious Fright can help a lot for finding people.

Ah, you're right. But it's such a small area I forgot about it. We need more!

Self-Hooking sounds hilarious.
-
I got stuck in the stairs on Temple as well. It's not just Killer though, I also got stuck in a tree as Survivor. They borked something in their code again.

Can survivors vault it?
I'm not sure. I couldn't get the Survivors to try vaulting it, but imagine they could since their character model would fit through.
-
True, but I like DBD for the gameplay, not because it's graphically impressive.
-
I'll admit I sometimes slap an item on at the last second. I feel like the more items in a lobby, the more likely the Killer will use a Mori. I just wanna use my stockpile of brown items, but of course the Killer will assume I have the best stuff.
-
I personally still won't use it for a few reasons.
First, I think duration and/or cooldown add-ons are practically a must for Legion.
Second, Fuming Mix Tape only works while in Frenzy, which means you have to use your power and stun yourself for 4 seconds to get the information.
And lastly, there are better methods of tracking what gens are being worked on, like BBQ, Discordance, and just general game sense. Feral Frenzy itself tells you where Survivors are in the area so you should be able to figure out which gens are being worked on by process of elimination.
Anyway, that's just my opinion. At the end of the day, it gives information, and info is powerful in DBD.
-
I sympathize with you OP. Those games where you snowball early and have 2 Survivors dead with 4 gens left, then they play immersed for the next 10-20 minutes... And you can't just leave the match because of the DC penalty lol. Frustrating indeed.
-
Bro if you lose connection you get a 5 minute penalty. Grab a snack or something. The game is actually playable now that cry-babies can't DC immediately when they don't like the killer/map/etc.

They removed it because of consistency with powers vs basic attacks it had nothing to do with synergy.
Third seal
Save The Best For Last
Remember me
Franklin's demise
All of these also had synergy it would be incredibly dumb from a balance position for you just to remove all of that because of one interaction with sloppy Butcher instead of just changing sloppy butcher itself.
As I've said previously in the Stream that they were talking about the changes they even said but they realise Legion was going to take a definite hit in the synergy but they really wanted to make sure everything was consistent.
Okay so they removed it for consistency. Still, Sloppy should not work with Legion's power. Holding M1 to mend all game is already tedious. Sloppy on top of that would be extremely unfun.
-
The Deep Wound effect is basically a pseudo Sloppy Butcher. Survivors already have to spend extra time to heal vs. Legion. Stacking mending with Sloppy is obnoxious and unfun, and that is why the devs removed Legion's synergy with the perk.
-
It won't happen. The devs have stated they want you to be engaged in the game during struggle phase, not just checking your phone until someone saves you.

Probably Self Care.
It feels like such a waste of time and knowing myself, I'd play very boldly, take hits for everyone and then just self care about a million times a match
Also I prefer inner strength.
I'll second Self Care. No reason to use it when medkits exist. I'm honestly shocked at how popular it is even at rank 1.
-
This literally just happened to me lol. Decided to take off DS and got face-camped and tunneled. Woo-hoo.
The sad part is if the Killer has a mori, DS does nothing anyway.

Necromancy aside: while we're at it, can we fix the lack of blood on her chest too? It looks so weird how it just stops at her neck and shirt.
#JusticeforBloodyBeanie
And also while we're at it, just add more blood to prestige cosmetics in general. I want them drenched in blood, not just some streaks on their clothes! :D

It's not unique to this forum. Most people go on forums to complain, argue, and push their opinions. It's human nature.

You can flag your own thread to have it deleted by either a moderator or community coordinator.
That's what I do if someone necros my thread. 😅
I sure hope it isn't deleted. This post may be old, but it is still relevant because the issue was never fixed.

I once saw a post "Who do you ship?" and someone responded "Claudette and Yamaoka Estate". Which is true.
Hah I remember that post. It's still true.

The removal of god windows automatically make this not the worst patch ever. They should've been changed years ago.
-
Same problem here. Sometimes my Survivor makes no noise while inured whatsoever. I've stopped running Iron Will because you get it for free pretty often.

Monto uses it in a few others
Watched the vid, idk man the Survivors he played against were potatoes honestly. I lost count of the stupid mistakes being made like throwing pallets without looping, not looking behind them, etc. It's a good build I think, but none of these matches were really a good test.
-
Wow 3 games with all rank 1 Survivors and you're not SWF. Can I have your matchmaking please? Thanks.
-
I think it probably only worked so well because of the map. Hawkins lets him abuse his terror radius since it's so small. He'd be punished much harder for not using his power on a larger map like Mother's Dwelling.

@Ghoste @Weck The idea behind nerfing and altering the current meta perks is to make that step away from how often they are used much more effective. Look how many people share the belief that "slowdowns are needed to have proper matches." It's talk like that which streamers bark and audiences parrot that have made the game as stale as it is currently. I'm never one to call for nerfs, but I haven't seen any substantial ideas on how to stop this meta, and to me, altering the boring perks seems a valid and sure-fire method. I do wanna here other ideas though :)
I see what you're saying. I just enjoy using a lot of the perks you mentioned, and I'm worried the devs would Ruin them if they made changes. I'd rather see them experiment with weaker perks that see no use because they are so terrible.
-
@Alice_pbg said:
Why nerf good things instead of buffing bad things?
If you nerf all the good things, them everything is bad
I agree. The meta is stale, but we need to be buffing useless perks and add-ons instead of nerfing the decent stuff.
-
This is intended. They want you to think "oh, I didn't actually get a reward. But I would have if I bought the Pass!"
-
Depends what Killer it is. For example, if a Hillbilly catches me in a deadzone, I'm dead regardless of if I'm injured or not.
I'd say stealth has become more important than healing. You want to avoid being found in the first place since you'll have nothing to run to.
-
Just a quick tip: Survival is the hardest category to score in, so use DS (+1500 points), Deliverance (+1000 points), and bring a medkit (each self heal is +300).
Bad games will happen, just try to focus on maxing each point category and you'll get it eventually :)
-
You're a veteran, you know how it goes man. Some things take years to change in this game. Is what it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
You're probably not crazy. There are lots of changes made that weren't in the patch notes.
-
What irks me is there was no reason for this change AND it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes lol. Lots of undocumented changes made in this patch... really don't like that.
-
This is my main problem with the DLC. The perks are super situational and not all that great when they do work.
-
You gotta Dead Hard ahead of time nowadays. Using it to dodge a hit is a 50/50 chance of dying.
-
Disagree about face camping. Been face camped plenty of times with no provocation. Borrowed Time doesn't do anything vs. camping Wraith, Freddy, Leatherface, etc. It's BS and has nothing to do with skill.
-
Spine Chill because it's the #1 counter to stealth killers in the game since Object was nerfed.
Bond because it doesn't require your teammates to be injured to activate. Yeah the range is shorter, but generally knowing what's nearby is more useful than what's far away.
-
You could argue if you are the last alive without being hooked, then you failed your team by not taking pressure off them by taking a hook for them. But I agree that it's frustrating.
