What is the purpose behind the offering change?
What is the purpose of making offerings small instead of changing how the struggle phase works
I'm pretty sure NOBODY likes spamming one button

I'm pretty sure changing struggle phase wasn't sacrificed so Offerings could be made smaller.
Its a rough example on what that change could have been put into
I'm not sure i understand what you're saying here.
Lmao yeeeaah come on stop defending these devs. They don't change what the community wants changed and change stuff noone asked for.
its annoying so either
a. make a macro
b. bind to scroll wheel
They changed something that didn't affect gameplay at all when that work could have been put into something that could have affected it
Cant tell if your being sarcastic but you do realise over half of the comunities udeas are horrible, right? Like if they listened to everyone this game would die faster than a flie on its death bed.
Okay, thanks for that opinion.
There's quite a lot of changes and fixes with each patch.
I don't see how not making Offerings smaller would've made it so there's enough time to have them work on a change to the struggle phase.
I don't think their resources & available time are an issue towards struggle phase changes.
It's probably a bug
U can't deny that struggling is one if the most stupid mechanics in the video game history and I'm very sure that NOONE will miss it but would happily see it removed.
Well like skill checks the mashing is used to keeppeople focused instead of just setting the controller/keyboard down. While its annoying its there for a reason and it serves its purpose.
What's wrong about setting the controller/keyboard down?
Imagine this mechanic in a game like apex. Imagine you are dead, and a team mate saved your banner to respawn you at a beacon. Imagine you had to spam a button the entire time till you get respawned otherwise you won't respawn for the rest of the match. Could you imagine how the community would react towards this mechanic? Them devs would get slaughtered in under 24hrs. But here in dbd it's completely fine and your are not supposed to keep your hands away from keyboard/controller because of.....?????? Yeah stupid, plain and stupid. A mechanic for monkey, but we customers are humans and not monkeys.
Doesn't help when you can only set it to "scroll down" or "scroll up." Just makes struggle phase more tedious like that.
What irks me is there was no reason for this change AND it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes lol. Lots of undocumented changes made in this patch... really don't like that.
They dont have to do the stuff you want. Its their game, not yours. The Devs decide what they change and no one else.
This is not how a game under development works. Unless the goal is to see the game dying at one point.
Oh yea the game is dying because they dont do everything the comnunity wants. Just because they dont do EVERYTHING the community wants, it doesnt mean they dont to anything. Many things the community wantet got changed/added over the year.
I doubt they will answer this.
I havent said that but nice strawman bud
