Actually let me rephrase that. I'll usually make sure the last Survivor knows I have beaten them and decided to take pity on them... you know, to establish dominance lol.
-
I usually give hatch unless I have a daily or Archive mission.
-
You severely overrate Legion and Deathslinger imo. They're like noob-stomper Killers that fall apart against coordinated teams.
I'd also rate Freddy higher. The BBQ + Pop combo is really oppressive on him.
-
Honestly, we're too late in the game's development for a major change like this to be implemented. I don't see Survivors ever being more than re-skins.
-
I really hope the Froguette submission for the skin contest wins. It would be the first cosmetic I buy for Claudette haha.
-
I'd like to point out most people agree an additional objective for Survivors is the ideal solution. But the devs are hesitant to add one, so the next best thing is to nerf gen speed.
-
I use them both together.

You want Furries?
Yes. UwU

Look out, we got a badass over here.
-
The grind is a huge reason why I can't get my friends to play this game.
-
- Yes. If you play on Steam, you'll see a red icon pop up over your in-game FPS counter when there's a problem. My first time seeing that symbol while playing DBD was during this current patch.
- Not in game, but sometimes in lobby the ping will bounce between 65 and 250, even though the in-game connection is fine.
- I don't think it's too hard, just play stealth Killers for awhile and you'll get it eventually. The real problem is DBD not registering grabs because dedicated servers :^)
-
I understand camping sometimes, but for us solo players, it is extremely boring.
Nothing like waiting 10 minutes in queue to get camped/tunneled and depip with 5k points. It really ruins the game.
-
-
This is a good point actually. I watched some PC vs. PS4 games when lobbies were glitched, and the PS4 Survivors were noticeably sluggish with terrible reaction time. The disparity in performance should definitely be addressed before cross-play is rolled out.
-
Yep, there's no reason to play Leatherface unless you feel like handicapping yourself for a challenge. Even with the best perks & add-ons, he's still mediocre and relies on Survivor mistakes to do well. Not to mention his add-ons are a blatant copy-paste of Hillbilly's.
-
I think it's neat, but unless they add cross-save, I'm never ever switching to another platform for DBD. It already takes an ungodly amount of grinding to unlock everything on a single platform, let alone multiple.
-
Popularity =/= skill
Besides, there is too much RNG and too many variables to pick a "best" player.
-

NO! He is really good doing what he is made for: camping.
True that. You can be really scummy and use Iridescent Coin with Monitor & Abuse and camp hooks from 18m away.
-
I still think Huntress is the better ranged Killer. However, I admit Deathslinger is stronger than I thought, mainly due to the lack of counterplay in a chase (since everyone quick-scopes leaving little time to react). But he remains a mid-tier Killer because he has no map pressure or mobility whatsoever.
-
Memes aside, they should absolutely change his sound effects. He gives a map-wide notification for almost everything, #########? Yeah it sounds cool but it really hurts Demo balance-wise.
-
If killing is your goal, Spirit is the strongest DLC character and has some amazing perks too. She does take some practice though.
You are a Huntress player so you may enjoy Deathslinger's playstyle, but be warned that his perks are god-awful.
-
I agree with you simply because I can get original Killers for free with shards lmao.
-
Oh, and not to mention if your teammates run the perk as well, it makes it even weaker.
If you're a Solo queue Survivor, Self-Care is undoubtedly better in most situations. Inner Strength can be made useless just by your teammates taking the totems before you can.
-
(?) seconds to find a totem + 14 seconds to cleanse + (?) seconds to run to and enter a locker + 8 seconds to heal.
Sure, it avoids Sloppy, Thana, etc. But if you do the math, you see it can take longer than Self-Care depending on the variables.
The only great thing about Inner Strength is you can cleanse a totem before you're injured and use the heal later. This is the only case where it truly shines imo. So if I had to pick one, I'd use self-care for consistency (Or just bring a medkit!)
-
Remember all those forum posts complaining about Doc being nerfed because Survivors complained? Then he got massive buffs and is stronger than ever lmao. Bamboozled.
-
I disagree. Ruin DID need a change. However, the change they made is questionable at best since it just makes strong Killers stronger, and doesn't really help the lower-tier Killers at all.
Plus it's still a Hex and can be deleted in the first 20 seconds, soooo....

the reall pain will begin when nurse will get her turn in rift
But think of all the baby Nurses trying to learn her :D Good ones are pretty rare.

Oni is the strongest Killer of those 4. Go with him.

i know that, but for now i will have to play agains and as him, as he is now
I felt the same way about Spirit being in the last Tome, so I understand. Everyone will eventually have to face an influx of their most hated Killer for a couple months lol

it would be perfect without this boring legion
Keep in mind the Killers in the Tome are more likely to see balance changes. Legion desperately needs help.
-
Holy crap guys, they're actually fixing the Ironworks window.
-
Getting hit over a window like that is probably the most frustrating thing in this game. As a side note, this is exactly why I don't use Lithe because it gets wasted like this 9/10 times.
-
It's a cycle for me. I'll binge play all night, but then take a break for a few days.
-
I usually max Objective without it anyway. It's a solid perk, but WGLF will get you more points overall since it multiplies all categories and allows you to break the 32k point cap. But yeah, obviously Prove Thyself is more useful.

I can tell you right now that it's not comic sans. It's also an April fools joke, so we're not gonna be seeing this font for more than today.
Btw this is the part where you forcefully exhale air out of your nose at the Devs and say "darn, ya got me!"
No, it's Comic Sans. Definitely an April Fools gag :p
-
He's gotten lots of buffs recently and he has Killer-specific challenges in The Archives. Not surprised he's more popular.
-
It's true. If someone asks, I'll tell them you don't want to rank up in this game. The problem is it's hard not to if you play a lot.
-
Dead Hard and Sprint Burst are the most versatile though. Lithe requires a vault, Balanced needs a drop, and Head On needs a locker. So these 3 are map dependent while DH and SB are not.
-
I'll agree with OP, they're hardly useful for a one-time-use item and have no add-ons. I'd rather use any other item in the game.
-
Leatherface needs a buff. He's literally a worse Hillbilly. He even has mostly the same add-ons.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies were too awesome for Bubba to be so copy-pasted and boring.
-
When BHVR lets me see my teammates' perks, I'll be happy to leave the totems for you. Until then, I'm taking those 1k Bold points for myself! :D
-
Anyone can play any Survivor so you should look past stereotypes. It's dumb when people assume I'm toxic if I pick Nea or useless if I pick Claudette. They're just skins.
-
I'm hoping for either Clown or Legion, since whichever Killer is the focus of the Tome is more likely to receive changes, and those 2 need changes the most. Leatherface needs help too but he is not available for purchase with Shards, and they've only picked "free" Killers so far.
-
I love Dead Dog Saloon personally. The Killer is mediocre and the perks are god-awful though, so I'm definitely avoiding this DLC.
-
Demo is quite average. His portals are the problem imo since they require setup, can be destroyed, and you let everyone know when you use one.
Also Demo's add-ons are underwhelming. Too many apply to the portals and not the leap attack.
There are just better Killers to play.

It will help me safety pip at least.
I never use moris either. I have hundreds of them stock piled across all my killers. I'm just getting tired of survivors looking for easy escapes constantly
I understand your frustration. It's why I play mostly Survivor lately. I suspect The Archives having hatch challenges is why there's an influx of keys.
-
"I'm getting tired of playing sweaty Killers who bring Ebony Moris every single match."
Both keys and moris are unbalanced, we know. Is what it is.
By the way, if your goal is to pip, bringing a mori isn't going to help you.
-
Okay so 3 gens got done early, but they were all on the same side of the map... on Suffocation Pit...
You realize this is advantageous for the Killer, yes? I've lost many games as Survivor in this exact situation.

Please spare a thought for us poor console users who have to play the base game with no mods while you PC people are self modding the game to be actually playable ;’)
The game is that horrible dark setting all the time and there’s nothing we can do about it. Scratch marks are really easy to lose because they’re that horrible default dark red that barely shows through all the ground clutter (that you can also reduce with low PC settings for an advantage).
Perhaps when console users are having trouble you guys could point out how much better the game is to play on PC due to the fact you can make it playable.
This is a big reason I would not want crossplay with PC as it’s not just superior controls with M+K but there are massive advantages such as this that would make a noticeable impact on the gameplay experience.
I feel your pain. Once I discovered these NVIDIA settings, I never went back. The base graphics are horribly optimized.

My Brightness and Contrast isn't visible though, it wouldn't fit in one picture but play around with it.
It's fun.
That's what I was trying to say haha. I could post a pic of my settings, but everyone has different preferences. Just play around with each of the sliders and see what you like!
