The reason it’s a hex perk is because Blight came with Undying and they needed another hex perk to show off undyings power so Blood favor was born
Hah yep. Undying was the real show-stopper. Blood Favor seems like it was a complete afterthought. Sad part is they could easily fix it with some number tweaks.

Yeah her Corrupt Purge is pretty strong. Possibly the best attack in the game. Too bad it's entirely up to Survivors whether or not she gets to use it...

Get chased by trapper. Step in random trap in grass. GG that was a fun chase. The only killer in the game I hate going against
How I feel playing vs. Hag lol. At least Trapper's traps can be seen on occasion.
-
If we're talking menu music, I still love The Legion's version. The distorted guitar is an excellent touch.
-
Y'know, I clicked on this post thinking it would be some witty argument about why Trapper is the least mechanically interesting or whatever. Oh well.
-
Used to believe gen regression perks were necessary to win. They help, but a good Killer will often win by skill regardless of perks. I learned to diversify my builds and I've become a better, more confident player because of it.

The first rule about Farm Club is, you DO NOT TALK ABOUT FARM CLUB.
Heck. Does this mean I lose my Farm Club jacket?
-
@Kaitsja said:
It's a gamble. They'll either want to farm, or they'll want to do gens as fast as possible. Either way, don't talk about it here. You're not supposed to farm.
Are we not allowed to talk about it? I'll fully admit I've farmed plenty of times, whether for an Archive challenge or just for straight up shits n giggles. Memeing is more fun than playing sometimes!

They won't tell us or show us. Make of that what you will. Their first iteration was putting me, a 2300 hr player at the time, against people who bought the game that week. So, uh, godspeed everyone when they turn it back on.
Yup, fingers crossed at this point. This is either gonna be the Hail Mary to finally fix matchmaking issues, or... well, not that haha.

I'm the same. A lot of the BS used to get to me. I'd end up yelling at my TV in frustration. Then I realized how ridiculous I sounded and made it a point to relax. Now I either laugh or roll my eyes at survivors/killers when they are being *****.
Also what is a bag of corns?
Pop.. corns.. y'know cuz they pop n' stuff :D

Yeah, I love Furtive Chase. It's so good. MMMMMMM
Hellyeah, inject that perk into my veins baby, wooooooooo it's so stronk.

Oof, haven't played Legion in so long I forgot that was a thing. RIP Stabby Gang.
-
Seriously though, I've forgone all logic and I'm just prayin' BHVR magically gets MMR right somehow...

Yeah, Predator + Bloodhound + Shadowborn is my favourite build.
Honestly can't tell if you're being ironic lol

I like your Doctor build. Good 'ol stealth Doctor is a fun one.
But personally I've never cared about adept achievements or anything like that, so I only use perks together if it makes sense to. I guess it's cool if you're into the lore or whatever, but it often means your build will be sub-optimal.
-
Lol this was a pretty hilarious read. It makes me wanna use Franklin's.

LOL XDDDDD
Imagen to need Noed to get atleast one kill XD. And you also cry for a Buff for it.
I mean I already know that you are not good in this game, but damm this is a whole new Level. Do you need a Hug?
Toxic.

Brand New freaking Part. A mori is irrelevant when the gens are instantly done. Can't believe that ever existed.
@Slashstreetboy said:
There have been worse things. A few examples:
-Infinite loops. Contrary to our contemporary pseudo infinites, there used to be loops where the Killer could never catch up no matter what. Nowadays they can just waste minutes on end, but eventually the Killer can catch up with Bloodlust 3 and entity blockers.
-OG Moris required no hooks.
-OG BNP insta completed a gen
-OG Selfcare was so fast you could heal mid-chase
-Object+Comms rocking it to this very day
Good 'ol Object+Comms for the win, baby. Not to circlejerk SWF hate, but it's by far the strongest tool Survivors have to this day.

Bless you Ghoste:), honestly the reason I got so intimidated was because this was around when cross play just came out. And I knew Legacy players were no joke. I have a habit of crumbling under pressure.
Haha I've been there man. I used to dodge Legacy just like you. But keep on playing and it won't be long before other players will fear you just as you feared Legacy!
-
@ImHexyAndINoed said:
I've only dodged a lobby once, When I loaded in to the game I was met by THREE Legacy Dwights, 2 had flashes and 1 had a key. Worst part was one of them was a TTV. Now I'm not the best DBD player, but 98% of my hours are solo queuing. So I'm use to holding my own and I don't often neec to rely on others besides an unhook. However I got cold feet and Lobby dodged what was likely a free win, I just had a feeling I'd have done something stupid if I played.
Awww, so wholesome. I'm sure you would've played just fine with them :D

No. Making it less dangerous only encourages ignoring dull totems during the match.
If anything it should be buffed so that it’s so absurdly strong survivors finally take the damn hint and actually do dulls they see during the match.
Exactly. NOED is healthy in that it forces an objective other than gens. Something which the community has been asking for for ages (secondary objectives).
-
@crowbarman said:
Noed is the only thing keeping dull totems around after 4.5. If they nerf noed then you might as well just ignore every dull dotem.
This is why. NOED is the only reason dull totems are worth cleansing, if at all.
Maybe if BHVR had come up with a secondary objective over all of these years of development, then maybe they could finally address NOED. But since they didn't... It's here to stay.

The thing is that if mmr works properly they can easier see which killers need help and which don't
Now it's hard to give weaker killers a buff cause of how they can usually exploit a weak link in the chain and still win.
Once they see that when everybody is on the same skill level only 3 killers are played at the top changes will come
This makes logical sense and I sure hope that's their intention with MMR. But even so, it's gonna be a long time before they'll be able to gather all that data and make changes accordingly (assuming they interpret the data correctly in the first place...)
Until then, OP is right that high MMR will be much less diverse and fun imo. I hope he's wrong.

@Zarathos said:
Controversial opinion he shouldn't have a reveal at all. Hes basically myers with a specific target clause and a spot mechanic that induces massive frustration and makes using his power a nightmare against any organised team(swf). His power spotting clause seems like it came from the same kind of reasoning that gave survivors invincibility in lockers vs the twins.
You're right, his mechanic removes any potential against coordinated teams. Although, how would his power work without a reveal? Then his stealth would have to be time-limited to make it fair.
-
I think crows are fine as is on outdoor maps. The real issue is they're practically pointless on indoor maps because you can't see them in the distance.
-
At this point I guess they just gave up on trying to fix it. New DLCs make more money than old bugfixes.
-
It's definitely a fun build. I would use it more often if it didn't depend on the Killer slugging you. All of your perks are invalidated if the Killer picks you up right away.
-
Shaggy from Scooby Doo. Hell, add the whole gang!
-
I think Scott Jund suggested making breakable walls able to be built up by Survivors, so then they have an actual dynamic purpose. Would make them more interactive.
-
I used to play League of Legends and I had some toxic buddies I'd play with sometimes. They'd get chat locked and it wouldn't matter. They go straight back to the toxicity as soon as they can. Imo these type of players don't regret their actions or have any intention of changing. It is well worth banning them even if it means a smaller player-base.
-
I agree, it's almost akin to running the plaid flannel on Nurse in terms of training wheels. It's a shame that Zanshin Tactics and by extension Windows of Opportunity are locked behind DLCs instead of being base perks. They really are great tools for beginners but hold little value for veterans.
-
If I play Killer with BBQ, I average ~50k a game.
Average match length is around 10 minutes.
I estimate it takes around 1.5 million to level up to 50, so that's 30 matches which equals about 5 hours.
You have to level to 50, then prestige 1, then 2, then P3-50. A total of 200 levels, or 4 cycles.
5 hours per cycle x 4 cycles = 20 hours of in-game time
(Keep in mind this does not account for queue times, loading times, matches where you earn less than 50k, OR the time it takes to actually level up the bloodweb).
-
Well for one, only Survivors can queue with their friends. Huge reason why it's more popular.
But I'd also add that Survivor is just infinitely more forgiving to play (especially with friends) and so it's more attractive to the average player by default.
-
Eh, difficulty means very little. You never see anyone mention it in tier lists or anything. It's entirely subjective and might as well not be there.
-
Just let him carry 2 traps at base so he can use whatever add-ons he wants. That alone would make him a viable Killer.
-
They should be giving players more customization options, not less. What a shame.
-
I don't like the idea of perks being designed to invalidate other perks. Like for example, Stridor is only used to counter Iron Will and there's essentially no reason to use it otherwise. Calm Spirit could use a buff but it needs to be more useful in general rather than be an anti-perk imo.
-
I'm not sure what's more repetitive at this point: posts complaining about Spirit or posts complaining about posts complaining about Spirit. Give it a rest.
-
Nope, I've never used Hangman's. It was pretty good when they buffed it in a PTB awhile back, but they reverted the change. :(
-
It's hilarious when people still do this when there's a DC penalty now. They think they got the last laugh, but they're the ones getting a timeout. Bonus points if they stick around to talk trash in the chat lol.
-
Not gonna lie, I farmed for that challenge. It's often the better choice to not kick a pallet and to mind-game it instead. Same for gens, base regression is so low you might as well not kick if you don't have a gen perk. So like you said, win or lose you end up not kicking stuff that often.
So I said screw it, played Pig with a Bloody Party Streamer, and helped my fellow Survivors fix some gens. I encourage you to do the same 🐷
-
Yes. In fact I've gotten timed-out from queueing because the game decided in the middle of a match that my game files have an issue. Nowadays I verify the game files whenever there's an update, no exceptions. Not sure why, but I always figured it had to do with me messing with the engine.ini files back in the day to get better fps.

You don't wanna know, trust me.
I have to ask.. is this a Jurassic Park 3 reference? If so.. I love you.
-
That's Adam's body, no? He was the one chained by the toilet in the movie and he died.
-
I'd say if you bring a good map offering to factor out totem RNG as much as possible, then yes it's a viable strat. But unless you're bringing a map offering every match, Devour Hope is going to fail more than it succeeds.
What I'm saying is if you're looking for a strategy to win consistently with Killer, then Devour Hope cannot be considered because it is anything but consistent (although it is pretty fun).
-
Well if we're comparing to other Killers, Wraith's advantage is supposed to be that he is invisible and faster than any other stealth Killer. This is why he doesn't have an insta-down. What they need to do is increase his speed while cloaked. I genuinely believe he would be at least a B-tier Killer then.
Giving him insta-down would be too hard to balance imo. Either he insta-downs you for free or he misses and now he doesn't really have a power.
-
Just wanna say I love discussions like this. I know the forums generally dislike content creator posts, but Scott's topics are always relevant and he shapes his arguments better than half the posts I read on here.
-
When I used to run DS all the time, I slowly realized that it didn't even come into play in many of my solo queue games. It could swing the match for you, or it could go completely unused. Nowadays I try to stick to perks that guarantee value every game (Kindred for example) and I feel like I'm a better player for it. Just my experience.
-
No. People hate DS because they get hit with it even when they don't tunnel. Have a nice day.
-
Not only do they need to fix sounds, but a dying Survivor should be loud af man. There's no reason you should ever lose them.
