What lol? It's a meme add-on and not strong at all if people know what they're doing. His movement speed is absolutely trash at 105% making him able to be looped forever and his lunge is so bad he has to be on top of you for the hit. It also requires and indoor map to be effective as any other map in the game makes it worthless.
You only ever see it in lower ranks, it's a miracle if a red rank players uses it.
Laughs in red rank Myers main

Spine Chill, Sole Survivor if it wasn't broken right now, loops, great map awareness, and exhaustion perks counter him very easily. Saying he's too op is only you not knowing what to do against this add-on. Take these suggestions, and I know you'll improve! 👍

I really want end game perks to spice things up.I am surprised that neither of the 3 killers perks do nothing with the end game or help when getting to the end. I have recently played all killers about 2-3 times and I really struggle with a few at the very end. Legion, Clown, Bubba. I know they are low tier but killers should get more end game perks. I have gotten to the point to where once all 5 gens are complete (almost done within 4 minutes of the game) I just accept the loss and move on. Noed and Freddys perks are the only perks that do something in the end game. I know noed is a “High tier perk” but it is so survivor reliant and don’t run it.
I think it'd be sick if the EGC timer was sped up by an appropriate percentage for every survivor that sits in the blocked gates.
-
Gen speed complaints should dial down when Chapter 15 goes live. Toolboxes will be less of an issue compared to current build, where toolboxes end a game very quickly.
-
Pretty true. Ghost Face is literally Myers, but has to actually make stealth plays to make the best use of his power. Oni's blood orbs feature is probably the most unique thing out of a killer in a while. Same with Deathslinger's harpoon gun and Demogorgon's Shred lunge.

Exactly. I'd rather perks have more of an effect on the game rather than add ons.
Currently the latter has more of an effect which shouldn't be the way. Perks should be stronger than add ons. Blood Echo is a fair exhaustion perk that has decent power
*laughs in Legion using Thana, Legion Pin, and Blood Echo*
-
First off, how good are you at killer?
-
Out of the five killers I play:
Oni
Clown
Doctor
Ghost Face
The Shape
The Shape and The Ghost Face are my mains.

I wasnt saying they were bugged or not working as intended.
I'm saying that they were introduced because of exhaustion recovering while running. Now that that's gone, these add ons are just dumb. They essentially deactivate a perk for the entirety of the game
Did I say you said that? My previous comment explains what I mean. The add-ons are supposed to do that. You can bring Vigil or not, or walk and stealth until you have it again. When hit by exhaustion in a chase, you just need to adapt without it.

@BenZ0 said:
Kinda agree but I hate noed as a Killer main, since it doesnt provide or require any gameplay fromt the Killer side. Almost all survivor meta perks have the same issues, I agree. But noed is just the same as these perks are. You do nothing but can get some kills without any effort by just 1 hitting everyone you see, also the 4% more movementspeed can give you alot more hits through pallets and windows then before.
NOED is a last resort perk. A killer, experienced or not, have the chances of getting rushed to hell. Effort is still made, and NOED just boosts the killer depending on if the survivors ever thought about cleansing totems.
That's like having a gen rush swf with OP toolboxes swiftly fall into the endgame without cleansing totems, then have the killer best them with NOED, leaving survivors to bm the killer with hate, when they themselves could have prevented it.
-
Exhaustion add-ons still work as intended to prevent any exhaustion perks from being activated in chase or slightly prior, regardless of how exhaustion currently is and used to be.
-
You cleanse totems throughout the trial to prevent it. That's not fair to you?

Not really. Most other online games don't allow you to force the other players to sit there held hostage for 4 minutes.
The only time a killer could hold you hostage is when one body blocks you forever, even though EGC could change that if activated. Survivors that hide 24/7 hold the game hostage more than anything. If you're slugged, you either get hooked, bled out, or healed. You progress either way.

I even wrote "Elephant Clown" in the title so I know for which killer this skin is.
I'm pointing out your lack of understanding. Mr. Puddles fits The Clown. It's funny yes, but that's the idea because it works within the context of his motives. If this skin was on any other killer, then it will be severely immersion breaking for a horror game.
-
Do I need to say it?
Interesting and creepy lore, cool aesthetics, fun power, one of my favorite characters in horror.
Otherwise, It's The Shape or The Clown.
-
Me, a red rank survivor post trial seeing that the killer is green rank for the 80th time in a row.
-
OP does know that the skin is for THE CLOWN, right?
Original killers have priorities over themed skins that look to break immersion in some aspect, while the other cosmetics fit with the character.
Thank god licensed killers don't get the goofy options, of course.

True, I tested this with my sisters account.
Ten legion games on rank 12 account, always red ranks.
It is very sad but it makes sense, ps4 is full of red ranks swf squads, unpleasant to play against
I guess on the plus side, since I play both factions, playtime as killer is swift as I am of the very few red rank killers lol

killer - monstrous shrine, insidious, unrelenting, territorial imperative, mindbreaker
survivor - slippery meat, deja vu, boil over, buckle up, technician, saboteur, camaraderie, sole survivor, windows of opportunity, breakout, up the ante, and the list could go on..
Mindbreaker: recommended on stealth killers.
Unrelenting: honestly underrated, but still meh at the same time.
-
You don't deserve anything. The game doesn't end until everyone is dead or escaped. You have the opportunity to avoid the killer that's using Rancor unless he was chasing you the moment the last gen pops.

Peanits literally confirmed on these forums that regression pauses when TT is active.
Like I said, not pair-able.
No...
-
@McLightning said:
Slightly off topic, but are you going to make a thread like this for every perk?
Also - on topic - no. Especially now because it isn't pair-able with ruin.
Gen has progress, Thrilling blocks it, and that's 16 seconds of fast regression that cant be interrupted. What do you mean that's not pairable?

try playing as the doc sometimes on console swear the game is running at like 10 frames when you play as him
I am playing on console, but I never have that issue with Doc. Demo seems to be the only killer with this problem for me.
-
People still think legion is bad? The only thing they need touched up on is some of the add-ons that are very weak for their rarity.
-
Iri family crest is more of a built-in Infectious Fright, but restricted to 12 meters, so you can potentially snowball anyone that were very close. Still garbage however.
-
Ahh yes, killer perks that make survivor gameplay difficult being jumped to bad killer rewarding

Ruining other people's game experience by playing in a toxic manner is not an effective nor productive way to protest a change you dislike.
While, no, it isn't bannable, it detracts from the fun of the game for survivor's who were not the ones who made the Hex: Ruin changes.
If you want an aspect of the game changed, you should post a reasoned thread in the relevant section of the forums rather than facecamp people who've done absolutely nothing.
And... The killer has to care about survivors' well being, because?

You mean the Killer's counterplay to over-committing to a survivor and making poor decisions? Yes.
Between a survivor and killer's tools in chase, bloodlust is what a pallet is to a survivor, yet a survivor can get the killer to disable their bloodlust by breaking the pallet, thus balancing out the chase when it continues. Scratched mirror doesn't have bloodlust at all, and that results in almost every loop being an infinite, which is why you don't commit to long chases with that Shape build. If the killer wants to commit to that chase, let them be, if they eventually get you, that's the idea.
-
There are seriously people complaining about the killers' counterplay to prolonged looping?

The replies in here are disgusting. Its like nobody can bring up any kind of concern about a killer or their power without people raging and talking down to them for it. Its so biased.
I never had an issue with old Doc, never found him annoying but after facing new Doc all day even I have to admit that static blast can be quite annoying.
That’s not to say he needs a nerf or anything its too early to judge but I can see why someone may find it a little frustrating after playing against the Doc a lot and I’m not quite sure it meets the design intention of being less annoying.
I believe it's mainly due to lack of common sense from whining survivors. They show through their post they clearly don't understand how playing vs Doctor works, think you can 100% stealth him when you can't.
-
I recall a dev replying to a similar topic regarding the pig as an example, and they said if they did licensed characters in tomes, tome challenges would not be character specific. It would be opposite of how we have Jane, David, Spirit, and Doc specific challenges now, but only because they can be free unlocks as opposed to licenced survivors and killers, who require AC to unlock.
-
It all really depends on what you did as survivor and/or how quickly gens popped in short time lol
-
Hooking the last survivor and then realizing I had a cypress mori active.

@helix43 said:
Extremely unlikely. Pretty sure they don't have permission to create lore for them. It sounds like it's a struggle just to get the rights to add cosmetics for licenced killers.
The Ghost Face license is clearly the easiest license to work with looking at the count of his cosmetics alone, and his lore in-game is not based on anything, but bhvr's own creation. The license is just the mask. I couldn't say the same for the rest though...
-
(PS4)
I haven't experienced frame issues vs Doctor at all, but experienced frame drops while playing Demo on Léry's. I would turn my camera trying to lunge at a survivor, and the game would act like it runs on 10 fps.
-
The only reason I would camp is:
a) I hook one person in the endgame, knowing everyone is bull rushing the hook
b) any point in the trial as I hook a survivor, knowing by player behaviors, that someone is just hiding behind an object near the hook the whole time. This is usually correct on my behalf lol.
The only reason I would tunnel at all:
a) a dumb survivor farms the hooked survivor, and they don't have BT.
Aside from this, I play regularly as anyone should be.

Ghostface - the Weaker Myers, is not too strong.
Freddy - the most balanced killer in the game, is not too strong.
Hag - Now listen here, I know what you can do, and are getting away with it because not many people play you. Don't worry your secret is safe with me.
"The weaker Myers" has faster stalk base kit, and can have no terror radius until attack for practically the whole trial.
In reality, both are strong in their own right, but have different play styles.
Ghost Face is Myers, but has to be stealthier to be so.

I agree. Something with him seems off now. I actually liked the old sleep mechanic better than what we have now.
You mean the 7 second invincibility plus reset if you wake up before you fall asleep? no thanks.
-
Today, it just comes to a point where people use Dead Hard to boost towards a pallet or vault rather than dodging a hit, because any competent killer is not going to fall for it.

Yeah, had no idea who the killer even was. I was in the big red barn between the hay so he had a real good sneak up on me unaware. Couldn't hear him over the gen running. Was pretty funny.
Oh in the barn? Ghost Face is terrifying in that area

Found the rank 20
-
I enjoy facing doctor now compared to his original version. I think the only thing I don't like is seeing people not utilize lockers when he's going to use static blast.
-
Anytime it's a Hillbilly
-
Aside from getting taken out of the game quickly by a mori, I thoroughly enjoy getting mori'd because each one (except Trapper and Wraith's) are unique and fun to watch.

YES! But I would need it to be his idle animation at least too.
-
I feel alot more confident using new Ruin because it shows that I'm doing very well if gens are getting drained. If it gets destroyed, I may lose that pressure, but that doesn't mean I can't still improvise.
-
What buff could Any Means Necessary receive? I feel as a survivor and killer player, the 2 minute maximum cooldown is appropriate as to not abuse pallet resetting so quickly.
-
You can't stealth a Doctor out in the open often, unless you have Calm Spirit. Otherwise, your best friend in this scenario is a locker, which prevents you from getting affected. You appear to not understand the purpose of Doc's kit.
-
@OMagic_ManO said:
I just kinda laugh at this stuff, like congrats about being a baby who's leaving to Survivor for even longer que times, you were rewarded nothing, I don't run Ruin so it's just sad that people need it to play Killer, seriously, a perk is your difference into playing a role or not.
Tried using Ruin on Doc only to have it gone in the first 30 seconds, but still destroyed them anyway. When it's active, the pressure you apply is rewarded by gen regression draining over time. If it's gone, you need to play more aggressively.
-
The Shape and Ghost Face: they are the two killers that bring a great scare factor into the game with how quiet they can be.
The Demogorgon and The Oni because they're aesthetically very intimidating.
