thats absolutely false in so many ways, even when he is doing a win streak, he isn't playing as if he was playing on championship, he is all relaxed and reading twitch chat and interacting with his viewers, anyone who has ever watched any dbd competitive matches knows its totally different.
your second mistake is to believe he only faced newbies, we are talking about 500 matches, and i personally watched when he almost lost the streak a couple times.
500 games, with zero escapes after gens were done, is simply insane, and can only be done by something like a nurse or blight, because of their mobility.
another phallacy is that if you throw a professional player against new players, on a non-professional match, the professional player is always going to shine, thats a lie, on group sporte, the pro would suffer, he wouldnt get pro assistance from other players, and people wouldnt respect the rules as they arent pros and on amateur matches rules are disrespected all the time , this is true on most sports.
even when the killer plays solo on Dbd, those rules would be broken all the time, like survivors bringing purple items, brand new parts, and many other things that are forbidden on tournments.
Nurse fanboys will defend it to death, even when all evidence and all pro players and specialists says nurse js broken Op and needs a rebalance, no other killer in DBD is able to pull a 500 win streak with those conditions, but hey, lets pretend its just the player, and not the nurses broken ability to 1- down someone faster than any other killer, 2- hook and barbecue them, 3- either kill another surv who got exposed by starstruck, or teleport back to hook and kill the exposed surv by make your choice.
I'm sorry but I need to point out that it's fallacy, not phallacy. The latter greatly resembles another term for a male body part.
-
Just to make sure, you need to finish the gen, not necessarily contribute 4 gens' worth of progress.
-
By now we’re long overdue some killer revisions, but the Anniversary stream puts the bots in the next mid-chapter slot, I think.
-
Just to make sure, when got did Mori them all via Judith's Tombstone (piece?), and not via memento mori offering?
If that's the case, then all I can say is that that sounds really rough.

Because people take comp swf for balance aswell.
Eye for eye.
Yes, because they're either a god-tier player and not at all representative of the general playerbase, or, y'know, lying.
AFAIK, you still have to prove yourself.

Trickster and Hag.
I don’t really have an issue with Legion, beyond overexposure.

The "anomaly" fallacy. Every time a streamer gets a high streak win rate, it's an "anomaly". There's an awful lot of "anomalies" on youtube but not really any survivor "anomalies". Interesting isn't it.
If you read my last sentence, you’ll find that I still think Nurse is broken.
I’m just saying that using Alf as a standard is not exactly realistic.
-
I mean, as someone else here put it, SupaAlf is an anomaly. A specialist with no regard for the opposition that has achieved a frankly unhealthy level with her.
But the stuff he and others pull off shouldn't be a thing.
-
Really confused about the steampunk aesthetic. Why. The chapter's leitmotif was the ocean and storms.
-
Apparently it’s much easier to see in there on any other platform than PC.

How am I the problem here? I have never purposefully disconnected from a game of DBD. I might suicide if I'm not enjoying myself, but even then, I think about my teammates and try hard not to.
My comment wasn’t intended for you, moreso the OP, who was implying they dc with some regularity.
-
Keep in mind you need to have room for it yourself for it to count at all.

I have stated numerous times already that anything could change. The killers vote can be 1 or more idc. Please leave this discussion.
But there's the issue. If you give the killer more votes, it has to be worth at least 4 survivor votes for it to matter against 4 uniting survivors. In that case, it's a tie at best.
Give the killer more than 4, and the killer wins by default.
give the killer less than 4, and the killer loses by default.
-
@Seraphor said:
Does the killer count for four votes?
But then it's always the killer that wins, if the survivors don't unite. And even when they do it's a tie.
Conclusion: DbD cannot have map voting.

BS, that's never happened on any game I've ever played against Nemesis or as Nemesis. These zombies are always in the worst ######### place at the worst ######### time.
Tell us you’ve never played as Nemesis without telling us you’ve never played as Nemesis.

How many games do you have to ruin to get upto 24 hours?
found this on reddit. No idea how accurate it is:
-
Kinda cool to see the old repair animation again.
Besides that, this looks so cursed.
-
It actually needs to go in your "inventory". If you're already full or have maxed out (or the killer isn't carrying any energy themselves) it won't count.
-
Gonna be entirely honest, the ones saying she makes "cute" sounds are creeping me out a little.
-
Small tip: if you don't have all the characters you unlocked the items for, you can check for them in their store catalogues by filtering in the already owned items.

@EntitySpawn said:
I'll raise you one.
How about if we click on the final outer node in a bloodweb it automatically claims the path to get there.
(This could be done anywhere on the bloodweb obviously, see that purple addon you want? Click it once and it claims everything on the way there in 1 simple click)
But what if the Entity takes one of the nodes on the way? Or what if there are multiple paths available?
That's not to say I wouldn't be in favour of a click-and-done bloodweb purchase, I'm just curious.
-
I got it a few days ago, yeah.

Plenty of highly skilled players make Nurse's life harder. And why would I take you as an example? I won't use some random from forums as a sample size LMFAO. My post is made based on playing as and against Nurse and watching a lot of other players play her.
Hilarious try at defusing my points though, lol!
And there's the glaring issue with her. The fact that you need to be super good as survivor to do well against her. That's unreasonable to ask of casual players, who are also facing these same nurses.
@almofan1001 said:
The popular conception amongst the community is that Nurse has "no counterplay". It's as if picking Nurse is guaranteed 4K and a win (already disproven by statistics both at the top MMR and all MMRs)
It's also humorous considering Nurse has quite a lot of counterplay tools, but Survivor players are lazy, refuse to adapt and give up without even trying. You can't just brainlessly run 3 times around Killer Shack, drop a God Pallet and give your team free 2 gens. Nah ah, this killer has different gameplay elements to it, so you also have to play unconventionally.
Here is the list of things you can do:
- Line of Sight break - easily done on most maps, force Nurse to guess which is always a disadvantage for Nurse.
- Judging Nurse Blink Distance - estimate how long the Nurse has been holding her blink to judge what distance she can cover, perform juke
- Indoor maps - self-explanatory
- Dead Hard - not very hard to use against Nurse, 3rd health state
- Use objects as your advantage - it's not the easiest thing for a Nurse to blink past objects, so use it to make it harder for her to get a good blink
- Be unpredictable with your pathing - if you use conventional pathing, that's on you - you're making it easy for the Nurse to perform good blinks
- Hold W (against non-range addons) - this destroys Nurse a lot, if she makes a mistake and you hold W, she at least has to blink 3-4 times to catch up to you. Doesn't work as well against Range addons.
- Use Stealth - should be a brainer, but somehow this is never emphasized. Nurse won't check every corner when she patrols gens and if she doesn't see you - you're likely safe. If you know she is coming, hide. You have more chance to survive than trying to "loop her"
There are more tricks you can do, but the point here is that there are many small things that you can do to make Nurse's life harder. It's not even hard, you just have to learn and get better.
Learn to adapt to the game - you cannot loop her like an M1 killer but that doesn't mean you cannot waste her time at all. She doesn't have "no counterplay", you're just making excuses because you refuse to adapt to a different killer playstyle. Bubba face camping is no counterplay, Nurse is not.
And no, "good Nurse will still destroy you" is not an argument. She will be very strong, but you can still force her to take 50/50s which any Nurse (good or bad) will despise. The 50/50s can even become 70/30s in your favour if you read the player right and be unpredictable.
And well, if you got destroyed by a good Nurse, you better give her +REP considering most of the community sucks at her and she's not a problem in the game (compared to things like SWF).
I see a few issues with your counterplay:
1: LoS.You literally say "easily done on most maps" On top of me disagreeing that this is easy, the fact that this isn't possible on certain maps is rather exemplary of the bigger issue.
2: I agree with this on a basic level, but is still too much to expect from a medium-tier survivor.
3: Indoor maps, invalid counterplay.
4: Dead Hard: perks =/= counterplay.
5: Use objects to literally "stop Nurse in her tracks". This once again requires keen map knowledge, which most survivors simply do not care to acquire.
6: Be unpredictable. Again, I agree with this on a basic level, but there are a lot of times when the second blink is enough to make up for a wrong guess. Not to mention that there are perks that temporarily yet completely eliminate the guessing on her end.
7: You state the issue with this yourself.
8: This is a rather uncommon tip, so I'll give you that. However, if she does find a stealthy survivor, she has the first hit for basically free, and the survivor is going to be outpositioned. If she had recharge add-ons, this is a death-sentence.

BHVR is a gaming studio - to focus on one game would be beyond impractical as growth is always required, and we've always worked on many many different games.
We have teams dedicated to each game that we're making, and this does not detract in any way from the team that works on Dead by Daylight.
I will never get over the fact that BHVR developed this one. Under a different name, sure, but this was my childhood

Basically, there are 3 types of pumpkins, and you won't know what kind you're smashing until its, well, smashed.
Those three are:
Regular pumpkins, which don't do anything beyond giving you void energy
Trick pumpkins, which inflict a short but noticeable Hindered debuff (slows you down)
Treat pumpkins, which apply a short Haste buff (speeds you up)
The one you're looking for here is the latter, the Treat pumpkin.

As the Blight, you get an additional rush token.

Getting Exposed means you failed it. You can't let it see you before you grab it.

Okay but when I'm the person that has no hook states, I am often actively ignored. Like, I have been in front of the killer in those instances, and they will just abandon chase the moment I take them away from my teammates.
-
Dismemberment, especially decapitations, would have the game banned in various regions.
-
I'm facing him way less now, which is honestly as it should be. Then again, I never faced him too much to begin with.

That is interesting, any kill rate above 50% average BY DEFINITION means that MMR is not working to create fun balanced matches.
They're aiming for 60%, though.
-
You know why he has the highest ratings in September?
'Cause he's new. He released August 30th. Of course September is going to see an inflated killrate and pick rate. People don't know how to verse him yet.
You'd think 25% pickrate would be disregarded as an extreme outlier due to known reasons.
