I doubt she will be lower than A tier to be honest
I hope your right she's a fun killer to play as.
On a positive note im way to exited for the add on description update its going to make picking add ons so much better.

Survivors make a grunting sound when they slow vault a window so even if the slow vault while healthy you can hear them. IW isn’t a solid counter since it’s perk
Well have to see when she goes live. I just hope she doesn't drop below B tier.

If you walk away the spirit will just end phase the second she sees no scratches and then find you easily.
I don’t want every killer to be trash I want a killer who I can react to and have a chance to outplay with skill as opposed to blind guessing. This is why I like blight, Oni, Bubba, PH, Billy, huntress and wraith since they have these options
But they might of vaulted the window and walked away unless they are injured and not running the meta IW its all a guessing game for the spirit as to what the survivor is doing at a window or downed pallet she still has to try to mind game which waste time like all other killers yet she can't see the survivor,scratches are extremely inaccurate,there isn't foliage everywhere one every map and IW is meta and only has 5 seconds base to figure it all out. But the survivors get a loud whoosh im right here.
See they most have easy counters sure you will eventually go down but after 3-4 gens does it matter? Now I've been playing alot of console huntress lately and there is a skill vs skill thing with the hatches and dodging.

Then you see their scratch marks because they are running
You can also walk away and the spirit get so would have no clue. There was already counters to spirit they just weren't guaranteed everytime and thats why there's only 2 viable killers because they don't have 100% counters the thing is survivors want to be on equal ground as a killer using there power when if a killer is using there power correctly then they should almost always have the upper hand other wise whats the point of having a power?(legion)

Except you’re moving at 176% speed and you have a massive lunge. Plus no red stain
Your assuming they vault what if they don't or just run because you did that last time?
-
@Phasmamain said:

Oh well in that case you can play the shorter side or do what I said before and bait the vault with the directional sound. As for the speed boost you have to remember you’re moving 76% faster than survivors base kit which is huge since compared to someone like billy and blight you have full control over movement
So mind game like any other killer would do but blind?

And he said he has played a ton of spirit during the ptb
He did the only problem with the ptb its that it matches anyone with anyone so its kind of hard to tell. My biggest worry is that the survivors can just camp pallets and windows and vault it because they can tell she's on there side and the spirit will have no clue. I'm worried they did a hit validation on spirit honestly.
BTW I am a spirit/Myers main and will be playing my fresh p3 spirit day one of patch to find out.

What’s her move speed in phase again? 176% right? Definitely an m1 killer right?
What good does that do if there's pallet or window in-between you and the survivor?

Everytime I get the RPD map, I just get to spend the experience walking around and just thinking about how the devs thought this map would be a good idea. Map so big that’s it’s impossible to control/rotate properly on, especially on 110% killers, also it’s a closed indoors map so playing certain killers on this map means that you don’t get to use their power, so many confusing twist and turns, so many god pallets and loops that cannot be mind gamed so there’s no counter play, hooks that despite right under each other require you to walk 100 FT and then go down 7 flights of stairs to reach them so if you down someone in a certain part of the map you just won’t be able to hook them without iron grasp or agitation. And on the survivor side is equally annoying trying to navigate your way through this labyrinth to find a gen. Despite being able to play test this map for hours on end, hearing our complaints before it went live, they still sent it through. I don’t care how aesthetically cool or how “true to the game” it is. All that wears off after 30 seconds into the first play through and after that it just becomes a chore. Stop prioritizing aesthetics over gameplay.
I was playing nurse and found there's huge chuck of the map that you can't blink through and its just one more reason to hate the map.

Good survivors scatter as soon as they see the mend icon by their teammates' names. You'll never chain hits if they play it right. Them you've gotta trudge back over to the injured person and try to secure a down as a powerless M1 killer.
They're fun. I main them. But they're awful.
This has been my 5 game experience and I don't think I'll play them again honestly. I'm not a great killer so I would rather not handicap my self.

Speed doesn't mean anything against a window or pallet.

Seeing as how you usually SPAWN ON A TOTEM, boom... Boon ready to go. This is just more firepower for SWF to bully KILLERS. It's already bad enough that COMPETENT survivors BEAT EVERY KILLER IN THE GAME EASILY.
SBMM has already filtered out the potatoes. Why killers are getting yet another thing to worry about us BEYOND me. Then again, the devs are TERRIBLE players of their own game so I'm not surprised.
No disrespect to the devs, but they are green ranks at best.
Hey I just ascended from considering my self a green ranks killer and I understand the over all affects they do so don't shove them into green ranks.
But seriously the problem imo is survivor mechanics aren't that complicated on a base level so once you have a decent understanding the survivors becomes way stronger. I mean its not to hard to be effective once you understand survivor. I'm not saying efficient but effective.

also try to keep the replies as truthful as possible so I understand fully
I watched a video right now where tru3 was testing it and he seemed to be able to track her exact location even got her with a pallet stun while phasing. I'm really not sure yet.

Not how it works. It is selfcare. That means it takes 32 seconds +100% healing = 16 second heal. It is actually quite balanced.
It says you can heal your self and when you use a med kit its 16 second.

But will players with good game sense even let themselves get 3 genned all that often? I just don’t think it’s a situation that occurs often enough for most people to bother running this perk to counter it.
Just trying to stop a gen from happening creates pressure because you know that at least 1-2 survivors will be there getting you hooks or at the very least hits.

True but i can still tell she's going to be better than most killers just because she's so fast and has no sort of fatigue.
She doesn't have a fatigue because she literally can't see survivors when using her power. You can be blind and have a fatigue.

boon perks are weak, ftmp
and the potential to remove Inner Strength from the solo queue perk equation is a bit disheartening.
Could’ve designated boon rng for little witchy spots in the realm to build-your-own boon. That way, killers could completely remove them easily... but the perks aren’t worth the fuss anyway, imo.
only takes a split second to snuff them out, so... no worries, tbh
all just a bunch of mildly flashy gimmicks
90% healing and self care weak?
I a killer 3 gens you can set this up close by take a hit run to the totem and heal yourself in a base 8 seconds (while 2-3 other people work on gens) and the go back to working on gens. The killer can leave the 3 gen and snuff it out but it will probably cost the 3 gen.

What I don't understand is why can survivors constantly bless totems, give them a certain amount, or increase the time.
Yeah it takes about 15 seconds, but considering son totems are really well hidden, this makes it so they can literally setup a campfire
I do agree there should be some kind of token system to limit the amount you can spawn them especially because you can overwrite a killer hex with them.

Nice. Unfortunately I can't play the ptb because I'm one of the red headed step children of dbd(console) but I would be happy if she stays strong at least a tier.
She's actually fun to play as and not as simple as people make her out to be just because it doesn't take as long as nurse she is also not as strong as nurse so.

Imagine if killers could constantly rehex haunted grounds to hide ruin
Imagine just that. Because it's the same thing that's Happening right now
I am happy to say though they are more under control than I though been an AoE and not map wide but 100% healing/self care is a little scary and not having any tools to locate it meaning the survivor has to leD me to it or I have to waste time trying to find it.

True, it implies that. However, I misread something earlier too. I thought survivors could only have 1 boon totem active, and thus running more than 1 boon perk each would be silly. However: Turns out that 1 boon totem contains ALL the boons of 1 survivor. Meaning if a survivor has 3 boon perks, they will ALL be disabled when a killer removes it, and the survivor would need to find another totem.
Also, the text implies that blessing a totem might take longer than cleansing it(perhaps based on the amount of boon perks you have).
So all in all, going a tiny bit out of your way to delete up to 4 survivor perks in 2 seconds for the next 14+ seconds of the game? Let alone that we dont know what happens if we kill a survivor who has their boons activated either.(quick note, Dead Hard could be a contender for Boon totems too)
One if my biggest concerns is killers have no tools to hunt totems and wandering around looking for them is a gg ez. To be honest though it say "safe haven" so I think they might be aoe but I still don't think they should be able to just spawn on ruin and bless it out of the game and get a buff.

where? I havent seen it in the dev update and I havent seen anyone confirming 1 survivor can reactivate their perk again and again. Note that reactivating 1 kind of boontotem by 2 different survivors running the same boon isnt the same as 1 survivor reactivating their own boon again and again.
The face that they go back to dull in theory means you could just rebless them

That doesn't nerf the hex though.
The fact that you have to cleanse haunted Grounds and if blessing it doesnt count as cleansing well haunted Grounds doesn't go off but idk if thats the case. They are literally give the survivors the ability to turn your perk into there perk while removing your perk from the game.

The perk currently says when cleansed so unless it changes or blessing it counts as cleansing
-
@brokedownpalace said:
The only hex this kind of indirectly nerfs is NOED. And that's a good thing.
No because they can bless any hex totem. They can remove your hex and get a reusable buff at the same time.

Meanwhile the boon perk is increase healing speeds by 1%
I doubt that it the survivors equivalent to a hex and look at 2 of the 3 original hexes.
-
@TheArbiter said:
At the disadvantage of the killer knowing the locations of their hex perk at the start of the match and getting a loud noise notification when the hex is removed, I think we should wait till we actually PLAY the ptb before making any judgements.
The thing is the killer doesn't destroy the totem when you get rid of the Boone so they can just bless it again. I really hope I'm wrong.
I'm on console I don't get the ptb😔.

@ChurchofPig said:
You can't bless a hex perk. They've said it multiple times. In order to activate your boon you have to find a dull totem.
Edit: Nevermind, I read some of the comments. That's stupid that they can bless your hex. You shouldn't be allowed to do that.

Did....did you just call Legion, the worst killer in the game, overpowered?
I read that and was like there goes your credibility lol. There is definitely some sketchy changes in here but alot of good ones as well. The killer buffs are nice butcher trapper should of had it done a long time ago and the plague as been busted since released and deserves the love. Now if we compare the buffs to nurf imo the nurfs were way bigger and more impactful. There is already a limited number of killers played lets not lower it please.

Yes I think we'll see his add on get a change the devs just showed they are willing to change achievements and I think it will happen to Myers killing add on. I hope they change the others though because like 90% of them are usless.
-
My biggest problem is they seem to be no risk and all reward. Oh no my Boone got stomped let me light it again. Could you imagine if the killer could reactivate ruin they survivors would have a melt down. If these end been strong enough where the killer has to deal with them is a huge problem because I don't have the time to repeatedly go looking for totems to stop a perk.(old undying anyone)
On a positive I love the plague changes she's one of my top 5 favorites.

That is how a lot of killers are feeling...individual killer sbmm starts at almost the same level as your main killer which is ridiculous.
I would rather it take hours played as each killer as a requisite to their mmr.
But even with killers I play alot I just lose over and over and the quality of survivor doesn't drop.

It’s not fun knowing you have 1 teammate less and you need to complete 5 gens, (someone has to loop the killer in order to finish the gens) and open 2 exit gates. Why are you killer mains doing this?
and also: isn’t it annoying that survivors can never use fun builds? I wanted to try the Plunderer build, but I can’t use it because the killer is tunneling me of the hook or can’t loop cause I didn’t equip Iron Will. Killers are forcing us to run the same boring meta build 😤
I think a more appropriate title is:
Why do my teammates kill themselves or dc for x reasons.
-
@pseudechis said:
I think the problem with the SBMM is that it’s boosting killers. I can get one hook in a 5 min game and still be called a brutal killer.
The old rank systems boosted survivors. That often wasn’t so bad because that weak link in a team was what balanced out most matches.
Boosted killers however are just completely out matched. With more accurate pairing of survivors and you have games that are so survivor sided that it feels like there is no way to play killer.
killer needs to up rank slower or down rank harder. Because it only takes one good match for me to be outclassed completely for the next 5-10 or so.
This has been my experience completely and I'm like an average killer with 400hrs split between a 2 year break. Yet I'm playing against players with multiple p3 characters,full meta builds, a huge increase in Bnzp and Prove thyself.
