can the killer reignite a hex that was blessed?
apart from boon totems being the worse addition possible to this game (a hard role made even harder, and the easier role made even easier) i didnt udnberstand that lets say if i had a totem hex like ruin or undying, they bless them, there is nothing i can do now?

you can take out this blessing
I assumed that Survivors could only bless dull totems, because the Developer Update specifies:
...the Killer can also quickly interact with the created Boon Totem to completely remove the associated blessing, *once again turning it into a dull totem*...
Hopefully we can get a Mod to clear things up for us.
yes, dull what about hexes...
If the totem is blessed the hex is gone, even if you remove the blessing.Blessing a totem takes around the time to destroy a totem so your hex would've been gone either way.
thrill works on blessings?
Nope. Mandy recently posted that a Survivor with a Boon Totem can overwrite a lit Hex Totem.

That's an oof.
Hopefully it takes the same amount of time to bless a totem as it does to destroy it at least.
Hex: Thrill of the Hunt
With Boon perks making their way to the game (more on this soon!), we decided to give Thrill of the Hunt some love by extending the speed penalty from Cleansing to Blessing as well.
This is from the Mid-Chapter dev update part 1.
Mandy also said it takes the same amount of time (maybe a bit longer)
i guess thats is fine. however boon totems are a mistake.
You don't even know what they do?
adding more objectives to the killer. thats what they do.
Bro/Sis, what?! You're kidding me. Killers can't relight their hex totems, but survivors can infinitely relight their boon totems?
Congrats, BHVR. You made an element of the game, a cursed item that was introduced into the game with a Killer (Hag) to now be fully, 100%, survivor-sided.
The only way they'll be acceptable is if they are barely stronger than the permanent perks that Survivors already have access to. Mandy also confirmed that Survivors can rebless totems. Killers can't permanently destroy Dull Totems, so them kicking a Boon only turns it off for a bit. They can't fully counter them ever.
And... if that is the maximum power they can have... Survivors won't run them because their single use survivability perks are just better.
So... in short, I see Boons either being unviable and nobody runs them or they're strong enough to unseat UB/DS and break the game because they lack conterplay with zero possibility of a middle ground. Neither outcome is good.
they might not even be worth doing, especially if they work how expected, within a radius of the totem, imagine going out of your way to cleanse something that has an AOE lmao
You can't bless a hex perk. They've said it multiple times. In order to activate your boon you have to find a dull totem.
Edit: Nevermind, I read some of the comments. That's stupid that they can bless your hex. You shouldn't be allowed to do that.
Especially when it's now near a completed gen or a dead zone with used up pallets
The fact that it has a range can also mean that RNG screws you over and all the totems are nowhere where you want them to be.
This is total bs on top of they can use there Boones.
It really doesn't matter in all honesty.
If they weren't going to bless it, they'd be destroying it and you'd lose it anyway.
It takes just as long to bless as it does to break a totem, maybe even longer.
Can we please leave the crying until we've actually...you know...seen what the perks do and how them being used affects the game....?
It's not that much of a big ask.
