there's a youtube video with the renders already
Wow I didn’t think they’d slip those in so early, surely they plan on patching the game once more before the event.
-
Has the skins been data Mined already?
-
I got nothing but camping tunneling Killers today too, so it’s not just you.

You are right, that occurred to me and I edited my post to reflect that, because my bad.
But I think the problem instead would be that survivors would leave teammates hanging longer (see updated post).
Edit: ohmigod could you imagine the hatch standoff between two survivors? One on the hook refusing to suicide, the other camping the hatch refusing to save? Actually, I would've done that to someone over the weekend, hanging on until the killer found them camping the hatch; that guy let three survivors die when we had a perfectly good chance at escaping just so he could get the hatch.
That is true, but I’ve had Survivors leave me to die in the basement or come after they completed a gen allowing me to get into 2nd stage in the process, so regardless if you have selfish teammates or players that don’t have their priorities straight this system will only magnify it.
Again I’m just trying to make a suggestion to end the BS camping once and for all. Obviously the current system isn’t working, I still get more Killers that camp than anything else.
-
Who is that tugging on the body, Jake?

ohmigod, no. This wouldn't necessarily stop camping, and it would give other survivors no deadline in which to save you. The other survivors could leave me on the hook all match and not rescue me until the very end, because hey, even though I was super bored and not earning points, I still got to escape with them so it's all good, right?
I imagine you could still struggle off the hook at the risk of putting yourself into 2nd state, it just wouldn’t slowly force you into it. Either that or Killers not being able to grab a Survivor trying to rescue someone from a hook would be welcome changes to me.
-
I know a year or 2 ago bE tested a system where Survivors never went to 2nd stage until they were actually hooked again. This would have really stopped Killers from face camping, I dunno why they changed there minds…

Well, to be fair, I have no idea how to run the tiles on Hawkins, either. I get that map so seldom that I still get hopelessly lost on it, both as survivor and killer.
I’ll admit I do as well, but once I find out which room I’m in, I know exactly what to do.
-
I think the Clown is fine personally. The only buff he’d really need would be like 2 more bottles and maybe no slow down when he throws it.

You sure the Wraith wasn't milking you guys for points? That's how I play: I don't bring Ruin, I lengthen the match as much as possible, getting as many Bloodpoints as I can without sacrificing anyone.
Nah he was definitely trying, home boy must’ve never got someone that knows how to run them tiles.

What rank were you?
My friend and I are Rank 2, and our other friend is a boosted Rank 8. The random was Rank 2 or 3. The Wraith didn’t have Ruin, but we definitely weren’t Gen Rushing him. Not sure how he managed to not get atleast 1 kill after he put us all on death hook.
-
It hurts me to the core seeing someone camp early, and by the results I see they had BBQ 3 on…
-
I just had a Red Rank Wraith we got a 4 man escape on in Hawkins.

Oh god, me too. She was the first character in DbD I prestiged, just so I could get that head. Not long after, they changed it, and now I never use it. I actually just spent some shards to get her brunette hair so I could have something a little different.
I want her old P3 head back so bad.
Kate used to have the best P3, sigh not anymore…

Really? Dang.
All I know is that from the moment they started changing survivors' hair, it's gotten worse and worse. For everyone.
I'm sorry, I'm still mourning the loss of Kate's beautiful face-framing curls that now just look like Farrah hair.
I’m still mourning her old P3 hair…

@TragicSolitude said:
The lobby resetting when it's supposedly connecting to a match is really annoying. Who knows how much time that adds to the wait, having to queue up again.
The hair glitch is weird, seeing characters suddenly go bald. I've also noticed that now Spirit's school girl hair glitches the way Kate's used to, where it bands across the screen. I've seen that while playing survivor against her.
Everything they've done to the everyone's hair is so bad.
That hair glitch is on PC too, and has been since Ghostface broke the game.

I wouldn’t mind Vigil allowing you to do this.

It, it all makes sense now! F-Tier (Fun-Tier) is the best, that's why Myers is down there. We all know Leather Face and Hag are in S-Tier (Suck-Tier).
Spirit is in A-Tier (Annoying-Tier)
Plague is in B-Tier (Barf-Tier)
Legion is in C-Tier (Class Clown-Tier)
Demogorgon is in D-Tier (Demogorgon-Tier)
I’ll put you in the I-Tier (Imaginative-Tier) .

@Mochan said:
How dare you put Myers in F-Tier.
You mean the fun tier! :)

Yeah 1st he was a joke to reveal, than he was near impossible to reveal, now he’s hard but not impossible to reveal. I feel cheated half the time he exposes me.

I mean I agree something like that needs to be fixed. But you sound like you think killers shouldn't camp when the exit gates are open, or why would you insult killers who play like that otherwise? And if so, please tell me what a killer is supposed to do otherwise once the exit gates are open and he has a survivor hooked?
Every game that goes left usually ends up with someone escaping regardless of the killer camping or not, hell leaving the hook for whatever reason lowers your chance of at least securing one last kill. As a Survivor I expect killers to camp around the time we go down to the last gen or endgame.
-
My top 3 is probably Hag, Myers and Freddy. Ironically I swapped Legion for Freddy after their reworks.

Sucks, that’s what made the event so special. I loved the secondary objective both Hallowed Blight and Lunar brought.

I love the map. And I am sorry you lost your offerings. I don't think offerings get saved. I don't know why? Are they supposed to ? Because my offerings get used upon DC which sucks. I hope they fix that.
They usually save if the game is canceled, people usually gets that confused when it isn’t still equipped for them after they back out. Now if the The Killer DCs they 100% do not save Unfortunately.
-
@InfinyMage said:
Just leave... As stated above. The mechanic was added because survivors would hold the game hostage before by not leaving. If you must go for the save then the audio cues are not bugged. (The bells that chime) people have posted when they go off and how much time you have left when they do. Also i dont believe the map visual is bugged, so as the map starts getting more of those red spatter marks it means its getting close to the timer being up.
I understand its frustrating but in most of my games where survivors have died to it its literally them waiting IN the gate area for me to come show my face to watch them leave and or so I can watch their t bag party. Nowadays i laught when i hear the entity kill them and im accross the map looking for pallets I didnt break.
I had that happen the other day in Haddonfield against a SWF. I thought it was funny until my game froze…

It's one of my favorites maps as both sides. Really strong for stealth killers but I also think there are a ton of nooks and crannies for survivors to hide as well. I don't see why anyone would dislike it.
Also a lot of fan service to Stranger Things fans like myself.

Now they're 3 killers in meta on high ranks Billy, nurse, spirit. (It's just my opinion)
Some killers are only used on low ranks and the question is how to improve them to be good on high ranks (I know I know if u are trapped main u can kill everyone on red ranks but we disscus about other players
I guess buff some of the other Killers. I know the Hag is super underrated, I usually always 4K with her unless someone gets the hatch.

Hopefully they start hammering out some of these long standing glitches by the middle of October.

@Rosalind I'm waiting for the art contest Feng Min concept to release 😔
But yes, I like this cosmetic surprisingly.
I honestly was expecting that and the Clown skin to be released right about now! :0
-
I mean if they were to do more Blight skins, there are only about 6 likely options.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
My predictions for hallowed blight 2 is the killer skins will be nurse, Hag, clown, spirit and Legion
Yikes how would a Spirit and Legion skin look like? I imagine the Nurse would look kinda like her Legacy Skin though…

I actually love the map from a killers perspective since i dont play survivor. But it seems people on both sides dislike the map.
Survivors hate it because all the “unsafe” pallets, and Killers hate it because there are too many pallets go figure…
-
The Pig’s leaves much to be desired as well.
-
You’re not on Switch are you?
-
I usually have good games on both sides on Hawkins even when I’m being tunneled by the Clown or camped by baby Killers because of poop matchmaking. Hell my only bad Killer game was when I got unlucky enough to get it as The Hillbilly.

Why should players feel obligated to not play at their best?
Agreeable, but I felt bad for the guy. Imagine using a BPS only to get camped and tunneled in that game. The Killer basically robbed him of both points and a potentially fun experience. In situations like that I agree with the OP. :/
-
@TAG said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/722536#Comment_722536
Is there a way for the Killer to know who used the BPS?
Besides asking? No. It’s just the principle that we are all trying to get as many points as possible while we can, yet some of these jerk Killers still sweat (if not even harder than usual) during the Blood Hunts. Perhaps bE doesn’t do many because the numbers suggest we lose players after them.
Er trying to get PGTW to activate, I dunno why I said stacks lol. In the end it didn’t save him, dropping a Survivor to stop me from unhooking my friend got him the 4K. 1 gen left too sigh.
-
The most I want them to do is have him start with all his traps, and rework his bag add ons.

People thinking infinites exist in 2019. BTW that 'INFINITE' you seem to think exists on haddonfield can be mind gamed. Work on improving before coming and begging for nerfs.
In 2019, if a loop is so strong you’re better off walking away from it as Killer, that is a problem. The Killer Shack is annoying as is if someone knows how to loop it properly.
-
@Mochan said:
Eh, then when you use BPS the killer will just destroy you all and you get no Bloodpoints, only blood.
Geeze some people are so selfish.
At least if they benefit from BPS there's a chance they'll let you farm after they beat your sorry ass.
I had a Ghostface earlier that tunneled a Survivor who used BPS. When I asked him why, he said he was easy PGTW stacks... -_-

The "Infinite" is literally only done with balanced landing i think you still continue to miss the point you bring up something totally different then what the post is about which has to do with there being no actual pallets that the killer has to kick they can just hold W but try again my dude when you can form a valid argument that actually has to do with the pallet design on the map not something that will get patched out and can be countered with one perk :)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/720147#Comment_720147
More pallets means nothing if a killer can just refuse to kick them hold w and almost half of them are joke pallets they are death for a survivor the point is the map is highly favored for killer i've yet to lose a single game on it as there's really nothing they can do other then just kinda try to run to a unsafe pallet which i can just either hold w on or they end up just messing up.
The point is everyone complains about safe pallets but theres a reason for them and thats Bloodlust im all for pallets being mind games but you cant even call that a mind game it's literally not it's in the killers favor simply because of the design alone basically the Dev's created this map without actually taking into account bloodlust is a mechanic whether they forgot or not it's a problem and it should be addressed.
Nah they set those pallets up to please the Killer mains complaining about safe pallets, same with the temple, that map is almost as bad when it comes to pallets.

Wretched Shop Isn’t an infinite. If you can eventually catch the survivor then it isn’t infinite.
You still waste alot of time chasing them, if that loop could go on forever without bloodlust and The Entity blocker, than it’s an infinite.

Ah yeah, I forgot about EGC timer bug.
I just got a whole team of SWFs with it and my game bugged out at the result screen. It kinda killed my excitement a little because I think I got a Brutal from a game I was sure was gonna be a displeased.
Also bE knows about alot of the issues with the new Party system and still hasn’t fixed it so that needs to be changed asap! The glitches that affect escaping, healing and etc also should have been fixed long ago, so I’m still waiting on that.
-
I know the last time I used an offering for this map I made Freddy DC lol! I was wondering why the loading screen was taking so long til I seen the plug by his name. I only go to that map when I have been having bad games though. Half the time I can’t use it because I have no balanced landing or someone gets basemented so I don’t loop it for their sake.
-
I always thought it’d be cool to have something like this added to the game. bE could give survivors abilities that would compliment their perks/intended style of play.
Dwight: Gen repair speed is decreased by 3% when working on a gen solo, and increased by 8% when an ally is near. Stacks with “Prove thyself”.
Meg: Runs 5% faster than other survivors.
Claudette: 7% Healing efficiency.
Jake: Jake does not yell when falling or landing (stridor will still counter this).
Nea: Allies within 4 meters of Nea can move at her speed when mirroring her actions.
Ace: Allows an extra hook escape attempt with an increased chance of escaping .
Feng: Receives reduced skills checks, but with smaller check zones.
Bill: When Bill is the last one alive, he can repair gens 75% faster for each gen remaining.
David: When using No Mither, you start healthy, and cannot be unbroken after hit for the 1st time.
Quentin: Your aura is shown to all other survivors when you are at the gates or hatch.
Tapp: Receives more skill checks with smaller great success zones, and 3% extra progression for hitting them.
Kate: Killers move 10% slower when carrying you.
Adam: Less gen skill checks, more healing skill checks.
Jeff: Reveals the aura of recovering hooks after they were broken.
Jane: 3 sec sprint burst when you complete a gen, causes exhaustion for 40 secs.
Ash: Endurance when hit right after unhooking a survivor, with a 10 second mend time.
Steve: Your aura is shown to The Killer when it downs another Survivor within 24 meters of you and their aura is shown to you.
Nancy: Generators 75% or more completed are shown to you in white.
-
It’s not that hard to counter, most of the time they will either vault the window and immediately jump off the roof and run upstairs which you can counter by running down the stairs. If they are smart and watch for you vaulting before they jump down, vault back through the window and than cut them off by the stairs. Otherwise how much I hate to say it, you may have to just leave them be…
-
@Mochan said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/719939#Comment_719939
Palettes never make ifnintes. You can just break them.
If they choose not to break any of these “unsafe” pallets, they may come to bite them in the rear later, especially the ones near the stairs towards the middle of the map. The ones by the exit gates are a 100% joke however, there’s no denying that lol.
-
Plus the window loops are all very strong, aside from the death trap upstairs most stay away from anyway, anyone with any knowledge on how to loop and Balanced Landing especially can really take advantage of it.
-
@MyName123 said:
@anarchy753 yes this pallet is similiar on the larys, but in the larys have a lot of safe pallet you can loop the killer, the underground dont have, do you understand?
I know Lery’s has a couple of pallets in the center area similar to most of Hawkin’s pallets where they are a horrible idea to loop, but if the killer leaves them or the Survivor throws them down early enough, they can help the window loops around the staircase in that area making it a near infinite.
