I remember my 1st game was Hillbilly on Haddonfield. I think I got a 3K, maybe 4. I didn’t know you could lunge so I loved him for that Chainsaw Sprint Lol. My 1st Survivor game I think was The Wretched Shop, somehow I was the last person alive still died though lol I gave him a surprisingly good run on the Crane. I think the Killer was the Wraith…
-
They fudged up the sounds so bad, after the Killer hooks someone the background music doesn’t play until you carry or chase someone.
-
Eh the Blight versions look better anyway…

If it's something you bring into the match with addons, it's definitely fine. Just annoyed at the change to pharmacy. Has the same amount of charges as a brown medkit.
Pharmacy needed a buff even before the change, I 100% agree it needs to give the player a Ranger med kit, maybe even always guarantee a Emergency Medkit.
-
I heard there were scrapped add ons that were going to be added to them like shorter fuses, longer fuses, extra uses, bigger explosion and etc.

I believe your view has to be stationary, too? Like, if you move it too much, revealing never starts, or stops. This was done to prevent people from just flicking the camera around until they found GF & then focus on him.
If this is the case, they need to revert that change, because it is clearly causing him to be near impossible to reveal in the goofiest of places.

If you are being mind gamed by her phasing than you are likely already on her terrorist radius so you wouldn't see a change.
This would give an advantage to swf tho so could tell there team when they hear the TR but are certainly out of it. They can tell the guy in chase.
I don't like the idea though, and would prefer it left alone. Maybe slow her down a bit or shorten duration while in use. It's supposed to be powerful add-on and amazed people are complaining about it so much, but not the unlimited T3 Meyers one just as much.
I had that same idea, make Prayer beads Iridescent, and shorten the duration of the Phase (especially since most combo it with Mother Daughter ring anyway). They could than lower Mother Daughter Ring to Very Rare (since that has a balanced negative effect, and isn’t all that useful on it’s own).
-
It’d be pretty cool if there were a 2nd game mode that had 2 Killers vs 6 - 8 Survivors. Unfortunately it is too late in the game’s life span to add any new modes now…
-
The hooks I’m pretty sure will remain the same as they did the last event in use and appearance, but the Kankers I’m assuming will only be used as background decorations like they were last year (as well as in game) since the majority of people complained survivors would kill themselves over those things instead of playing a normal game.
-
The Repair 3 Generator Dailys. Everytime I get it, I get a Killer with Ruin that downs 2 people straight off the bat and I end up saving the whole game till we all die. If that’s not the case, I end up getting camped and or tunneled till I die. To add insult to injury the last time I got that daily a few days ago, it ended up resetting itself to heal other survivors which I got in one game...
-
Playing as: Nurse, I hate any Killer that forces you to use your power to get downs (old Legion was like this, now he is the Total opposite in a bad way)!
Playing against: Ghostface, like The Wraith, most camp, tunnel and even worse tend to Mori off the hook. They also try way too hard to double back when chasing people, which makes unsafe pallets unusable. On top of all this, he is near impossible to take out of his power which leads to cheesy 1 hits on you and your fellow survivors!

Hag's Waterlogged Shoe.
It used to be worse, I forgot whether it was the scarred hand or the shoe that had a slight speed penalty, but it basically makes Hag work like Puddle Freddy.
-
5. Frank’s Mixtape: It takes 5 Frenzy hits to down someone, and even with the best power recovery add on it takes way too long to recover Frenzy to down survivors swiftly.
4. Award Winning Chili: The Acceleration does not help catching up to Survivors and the bump penalty makes it more risky than it’s worth.
3. Pugnent Vial (not sure if that’s the right add on): Although it’s nice to always know where lockers are as The Huntress, it still isn’t worth putting on compared to her other add ons.
2. Vanity Mirror: The range on it isn’t as good as Scratched Mirror, and the slight slow down in speed prevents Myers from effectively chasing or ambushing Survivors that ran more than a short distance away.
1. Vermillion Webcap (the purple add on): Apparently only add 1 extra second of Oblivious compared to the Ultra Rare that makes Oblivious last around 10 seconds. This makes it redundant and me very curious as to how mediocre the Rare add on is if this is the case.

Uh SCP?

Well, that'll be the reasoning. They can always add a hill in the map, since that map and rottenfields were designed before BL was even in game.
Ironically there was a thread about this made in May which Peanits, I think responded to. Unfortunately as you can see nothing was done to improve Sheltered Woods for better or for worse as of yet.

Sheltered doesn't need a lot of tweaks. I think it's a balanced map. If survivors play smart, they won't get downed... and I admit this map is killer sided, but with all the survivor sided maps, I think having one or two be the opposite is a nice change.
I think the problem with the Game is that the vaults are all on the bottom floor, making them seem like there are only a few, when there are many.
You’re right, there are 7 actually on The Game. Being serious though I guess you’re right, most of my hatred for Sheltered Woods comes from the near nonexistent use for BL the map has, and my awful experiences I have on it.
Same for Rottenfields, most of my games end up with me or someone else getting camped in the basement because everyone gravitates to the middle there. I ironically had some great games on Sheltered Woods recently (although I got lagged out of one of them and the Killers were both pretty bad lol).
-
How the fog is The Hillbilly not on here?
-
Lol same here, I got like 15 Iri heads and 2 or 3 belts. I don’t even think I got 10 leather loops (or whatever the lesser version of the belt is).
-
I remember someone in another thread suggested the gates being powered and EGC starts immediately when only the last Survivor remains. Like the old system you would need 2 gens completed for the hatch to even spawn, and as the survIvor still has a way out, and a time limit to do so, the game cannot be held hostage.
-
Half the time I go to Haddonfield I don’t even get looped that bad, I just get gen rushed lol!

have you played Killer on most maps?
I most certainly have, and I can say that besides 2 of the maps up here (obviously Haddonfield and Sheltered Woods), the rest just need a few tweaks. Lery’s needs the flickering lights like The Game and Hawkins to help find gens easier, The Game needs more vault locations as there are literally just pallets and like 6 vaults in the entire map, and the swamp needs better RNG, as you can get set ups with 8 pallets maximum on the entire map with vaults only on the set pieces and logs on the corners of the map.
-
@GrootDude said:
Looping the killer for what should’ve been five gens but no gens get done
Good ol’ Hex: Ruin will always make that the case when playing with potatoes.
-
Wow I’m the only one that thinks Sheltered Woods needs a rework? All the other maps up here only need minor tweaks to them.
-
Basically every spot in Badham is good except any totem that spawns in a building lol. The 2 story house spawns are predictable and exposed, and the basement ones aren’t even hidden, they are right next to a gen and can be spotted if you chase them there. The one in the Preschool in the corner next to Freddy’s bed is decent however.
-
Really? How tempting that is, I suppose knowing someone robbed themselves of a pip and BP is good enough for me.
-
I had that happen on Hawkins just as she healed her friend. Worst part is I got to the hatch just as she DC’d, and had to watch her jump in the hatch infront of me, the sweatiest thing a Survivor can do I swear...
-
Rancid Abattoir is a joke when it comes to balance. I just had a game where the pig tree spawned next to a long wall with a vault, two L walls and a few pallets right next to the shack with the god loop in the slaughterhouse. If it weren’t for my Ebony it would have been an easy 4 man escape.
-
The Doctor just needs add on changes for everything lower than green, and a 25% base shock radius increase. If you set Doc up right perk and add on wise he can be very viable. Shocking survivors at pallets like the ones in the middle of Blood lodge can give him easy hits other killers would have to bloodlust or mindgame to get.
Leatherface can maybe get a faster movement speed while revving up his saw, and perhaps make a purple or red add on only to allow him to hit multiple survivors with his chainsaw (normally he will automatically perform the cooldown after 1 successful hit)to help discourage players from camping with him.
Legion just needs his Frenzy to be less punishing to use, and the instinct range add ons needs to go back to movement speed increases. I’m not sure if Frank’s mixtape allows you to down Survivors with Frenzy, but if it does it should give you the penalty for missing attacks where as not using Frank’s won’t take you out the power for missing, but still give a missed attack cooldown to make it a bit more fair.

Rule one of your being attacked if you ever managed to knock down your attacker who is trying to murder you double tap their ass.
Grab any available heavy object you can find grab and continuously beat them until they don't move and then hit them a couple of times afterwards just to make sure.
It's just kind of annoying trope of horror films where a character that easily knocked down said killer chooses to try to run away or hide instead of finishing them off which always leads to their death
Hmmm well now suddenly The Huntress’ Mori doesn’t feel so excessive and cruel. Apparently her mother taught her well! :0

Probably a result of fight or flight while intoxicated and panicked? Or she thought she was small enough to fit and he would be the one trapped in the garage unable to kill while she lets everybody know a killer was in the house. Ultimately though I’m pretty sure the big breasted girl joke Sydney told earlier was a kind of foreshadow and that was just one of those moments Scream reveals itself to be both horror and satire simultaneously.
Fun fact, Tatum’s actress actually could fit through the doggy door. They had to have her attached to the door while shooting to perform the stunt. So plot armor?

Actual Ghostface - This new cosmetic
Original Mask - Differently proportioned mask
Rounded sleeves with some small tassels - longer sleeves with jagged edges
No belt - belt
Robe reaches just below knees - robe reaches to ankles
Robe is fairly loose around the torso - Robe is fairly tight around the torso
Hood opening is somewhat wide and more round - Hood opening is more oblong and oval-like
====
Its a cool cosmetic, but is NOT his original costume.
To say that that cosmetic is the original/real/proper/movie Ghostface is outright incorrect.
Well gosh darn it’s close enough! :0

I can’t wait to gen ru - I mean harvest nectar with it. ^_^
-
I was skeptical at 1st when I heard it was 2k cells, but when I heard it was only 1k, you get like 6 skins from playing and you get your cells back from completing the rift I was feeling like posting the Futurama Fry meme somewhere.
-
I haven’t gotten any yet, but I’ll probably get everything but the Clown and Oni Spirit tomorrow. I can wait on Hag’s body and everything for the Plague but her crown. I love Jake’s but I want to earn it because it will be pretty sick using it during the event. :p
-
I’m glad he got his proper robes, now I can stop wearing his Devilface outfit with the ghostface mask because it’s the closest I’ll get.

lol, Good luck waiting several seconds on rotten fields or lery's. Memory won't do you a bit of good. Her counter will be to literally run forward at full speed and you won't catch them. Good luck with that!
The notes clearly say she recovers her blinks while fatigued. If it is 3 seconds per blink base she will always have atleast 1 blink ready.

Not to mention there's a green add on that removes 0.9s per charge, meaning with 2.5 seconds of fatigue you only need half a second to double blink.
Exactly! People are severely overreacting, the PTB is later on today, I guarantee 1 little change to how often she can blink won’t destroy her. Give it a few hours and I’m sure everyone will be singing praise about how fun her new add ons are.
-
I’m not sure how a up to 6 second cool down on her blinks will utterly destroy the strongest killer in the game. Her fatigue alone is almost 3 secs, and they said it cools down during it.
-
I’m anxious to see what add ons the Hillbilly and Leatherface will get. The noise and Chili add ons are easily the most expendable.

Base kit change is crippling.
There's a 2.5 fatigue time for 2 blinks. That's enough time for a Survivior to get 9 meters away. She needs to then wait 3.5 seconds to blink again, there's an additional 14 meters.
Nurse needs to cover a 23 meter difference for missing one chainblink, and that's the equivalent of 2 blinks, one of which being fully charged.
That is a crippling change if I've ever seen one. That's worse than any nerf Pig or Legion has ever gotten.
How oppressive the Nurse is for survivors and all the Killer biased buffed they’ve been doing the past year it’s about time we catch a break here. Honestly I think the changes will make her alot funner for both sides. As someone who rarely plays Nurse and never had the patience to master her, this is making me reconsider.

I don’t think they’ll get rid of the exhaustion add-on. If anything they’ll make her exhaustion add-on a higher rarity and rework Iridescent Head. That’s just my thinking though.
She has a common version of the exhaustion add on which is for 30 secs I believe. She also has alot of uncommon add ons they’d need to switch around.
-
@MegMain98 said:
So does this also mean that Huntress is gonna be getting some add-ons changes as well? She only has one ultra-rare and a TON of yellow add-ons.
I imagine The Huntress will lose her infamous exhaustion add ons, and maybe Iri heads won’t work with belts anymore.
-
@Volfawott said:
If this happens people are just going to run and farm people off with no punishment and the likelihood is you going to be seeing a sharp increase of tunnelling
Not true, most of the time the Killer will slug the rescuer and down the freed Survivor. If Survivors wanna play that crap they’ll learn fast it ain’t worth it especially without BT. Besides sounds like a win win to Killers, more hooks equals more points so they can actually justify early camping.
-

Agreed, yet hits let it finish most of the time! I had a Demo do that to me the other day because STBFL, and he was toxic in the chat after saying,”gg ez.”
-
It’s a double edges sword, if they camp even when hooks aren’t being rushed catches make it that much harder to deal with.

I think everyone's having different experiences with the dedicated servers. It might be due to how far they're living from the nearest server to them

If our best counter to inner strength is iron maiden, could the alert be changed to activate when the survivor goes into the locker. The perk is niche enough so I was thinking this could be a nice buff to help it stand out more. As it stands, the perk at best lets me know where the survivor healed but it just doesn't work well due to having to go to the location and searching for the survivor and hitting them. Realistically iron maiden will get you an insta down like 1 in 100 games
I remember on release it was bugged and showed auras instead of locations, I and many others I’m sure were quite disappointed.

"We are planning on looking into their add-ons in the near future. In particular, we would like to change their status effect add-ons to be on hit rather than when hitting a survivor that already has deep wounds. We do not have an ETA at this time, but we will let you know as soon as we can."
"We cannot give dates on when these changes will happen, but we can share some information on which killers we are looking to update. We will be taking a look at the Nurse and her add-ons (primarily her add-ons) and the Doctor. We would also like to review the chainsaw killers, the Shape, and the Pig, and more. Some may receive smaller changes or add-on passes while other may see more significant changes."

I swore one of the devs said this during the anniversary livestream, but yeah the fact that this was done to The Legion’s add ons purposely or not is pretty bad, you are screwing your chase trying to double tap a Survivor with frenzy. The broken pin add on should stay the same or be upped in rarity though, that wouldn’t end well if it was changed to on hit.

No, it isn't working. Directly off the hook no option for it or lag is so hard I'm already hooked before the skill check is ocmpelted
I keep hearing that, but I’ve never been able to hook someone with DS immediately after picking them up by the hook. Did you get an early skill check when that happened to you by chance?

I agree plague's skin is the worst one out of the bunch, on the other hand Clown's skin is top notch. Surprised Nurse or legion didn't get a skin.
Legion I’m not sure how that’d look, or if I’d want to know, and The Nurse’s legacy skin looks close enough to a Blight skin.
