I am still not a fan of giving the Survivor side an additional four perk slots while giving the Killer side only one.
I dunno. I could do a LOT of good with an extra perk on the killer.
Most good players also don't use Self Care, so the best thing they can run on Claudette is Empathy, which again, is not particularly amazing for good players.
Interesting idea, but some perks would have to be reworked in some way, since survivors like Quentin have crappy perks (and he also looks fugly). I'd actually, probably, play Jake Park more often.
-
The Hag has an achievement called "Even Punishment" for tele-hitting each survivor in the match. I was always hoping playing round robin with the survivors would be rewarded.
I, personally, try to avoid tunneling, and only resort to it when I'm far behind. The moment I take the lead again, I start slugging if they're on their death hook.
Everyone wants a chance to play, and games I smash in a 4K in 4 minutes with 0-1 gens done isn't fun for me, either.
-
Her Ambush addons are her worst addons. lol They don't give you any power over the game through RBT.
-
Your best bet is to add a significant delay.

Thanks, m8. I really do try.

My best friend would probably think Jeff is the hottest survivor, cause she's totally into husky men (or vikings lol).
To be honest, Jake looks pretty hot, especially in that opening CG video.
-
Virtually never. Even when I'm farming, I'll let them max out Boldness on pallet stuns Altruism on heals/unhooks, and repair 4.5 generators, but then I kill everyone.
-
4K for Adept Pig on Red Forest (before they made these achievements impossibly difficult).
Mostly just reads of survivor locations using Jigsaw Boxes and sightings to know which quadrant they're in. As I started to kill people, I saw a person running into one quadrant with a trap, another that was injured running into another, with the only generator adjacent to that and where the final survivor was working. Easy deduction that trapped guy was going for the box, and injured guy was going to the closest gen to be healed.
Kill the grabbed guy, and then slug the trapped guy. Lots of time to hunt after that. Altruism almost universally kills survivors, and Pig can draw out the hunting time when she has no freeform tracking perks.
Anyway, Surveillance was especially bad back then, and no Ruin made me race against time.
-
115% movement speed soon?
-
Probably a rework to her functionality, so that her ability to proxy camp isn't so strong. Virtually every Nurse game I play faces two grim situations for survivors:
The first person caught is hooked, and then watched from a distance by the Nurse with a blink ready to just go straight to the hook with Make Your Choice, or to tunnel the first hook. (Subsequently, the hooked person suicides or disconnects, usually.) Or...
You can't really risk healing due to A Nurse's Calling virtually guaranteeing that she will land on top of you, and this is assuming you actually escaped her initially.
Yes, she requires a decent baseline of skill from the player, but it's not that hard to roll with 3 blinks and reach a decent level of consistency. Due to her mechanics, she's also ungodly strong for slugging.
The strongest part of her is having range. 3 blinks with extra range is absolutely crushing to play against, and to date, I've only faced a single Nurse running 5 blinks (to which we got steamrolled cause she was actually good; always managed to dodge 4, but never 5).
-
I think it's a rock solid perk, but not required. I think it's a strong "strategy" perk, where you can use it for a particular build strategy. Personally, I prefer going around Make Your Choice, or Bamboozle/Spirit Fury (killer pending).

Jigsaw's Annotated Plan:
A disturbing, yet brilliant, Trap design laid down on paper and annotated by Jigsaw.
- Increases available Jigsaw Boxes by 1.
- Moderately increases the Reverse Bear Trap death timer.
Tampred Timer:
A timer that has been fiddled with. A spring in the mechanism forces the gears to turn faster.
- Moderately reduces the Reverse Bear Trap death timer.
Annotated Plan increases the death timer by 15 seconds. Tampered Timer reduces the death timer by 30 seconds.
This is dumb. No good reason not to show the actual number changes instead of letting people think they change the timer by the same absolute value.
Pig main here. I thought the green +1 box was also +30s timer. lolz
This designation system is very dumb.

Sebastian Castellanos. ;0
Could also have a Laura Victoriano or a Guardian as a killer.
-
Yes. She's common for sure, but I've gotten entire lobbies of Dwight or David more than entire lobbies of Claudette.

so i main hag and i easily make red rank on her but i never used M@A so im wondering how it is good because her trap tp range is 40 m ?
Massive synergy with A Nurse's Calling. She's also more difficult to spot on average than even crouched Pig (personally, I find Myers more difficult to spot).
My personal Hag strat is: Trap the piss out of 1-2 quadrants of the map, and then go hunting in the others and herd them into your traps. Get free hits where you can, too.
Also high synergy with Make Your Choice, though you shouldn't rely on traps on the hook. You can place a dummy trap for SWF to slow down how far they escape during unhooks, but place traps in the obvious exit paths a bit of distance away, and then deliberately approach from the obvious, direct path to the hook to herd them into those.
Hag is pretty merciless.

Ruin, Spirit Fury, Enduring, Bamboozle--probably. Standard pallet-eater build.

Michael, exposed for 45 seconds for only 1 survivor is pretty weak compared to a full minute of exposure for all survivors.
If we ever get a shirtless Myers skin, it'll be unlimited exposure for all survivors. :o
-
@Perelie said:
Also the fact that Spirit Fury is useless without also taking Enduring goes right with my point. The two perks should be one. Then MAYBE that could be an okay counter to pallet loops.
Spirit Fury isn't useless without Enduring. It just also guarantees hits at pallets near windows, otherwise it's universally rewarding. On top of this, it breaks a pallet automatically for every 2 that you lunge through. It punishes pallet baiting, and encourages aggressive gameplay by removing the downside of respecting pallets.
-
I faced my first Ghost today. I was Exposed instantly with no warning, and then face camped in the basement until death. It doesn't look like you can cancel his stalk within reason.
-
Rank 12 killer queue on PC.
Not a survivor in sight. :(
-
They nerfed a whole hell of a lot more than just Claudette's stuff. I went through most of the survivors to find their most versatile stealth outfits being less stealthy than other things that didn't get touched. Even Claudette's default outfit got nerfed.
Your best bet now is the Prestige shirt, or buying the school uniform jacket + tie. The green shirt might still be decent, but it'd be bad luck to roll most of the maps while wearing it. The blue is still semi-decent.
-
For those who don't know who I am, I am reputed to be quite critical of BHVR at times, and am incontrovertibly a Killer main.
Mid-tier killers don't need to be as strong as the "top tier killers" (often referred to as the only viable ones) to be "viable"?
lolwut
-
While I disagree with the endgame nerfs to her, she already needed a buff prior to that. Mainly, I feel that they need to weight her RNG on traps/boxes, or they need to make her stealth gameplay better. I mean, Myers does well, and they just buffed Ghostface.
Pig has always been terribly weak on the stealth front against decent survivors, even on her best map(s).

Because killer mains would cry endless rivers of salt if he was nerfed. These are the people who will consider the game balanced when they get a 4k every game.Hillbilly requires no skill, and Nurse does. Yet he's not OP when he has more mobility than her. lolz
At least Nurse still requires two hits. They can both proxy camp effortlessly and benefit absurdly from certain perks. In a meta where healing is discouraged to rush generators faster, it's laughable that Hillbilly--whom has instant downs and typically runs BBQ and the Spirit Fury combo--is balanced, while Nurse--whom capitalizes on people bothering to heal--is unbalanced. like wut
-
It completely eliminates the primary drawback to her power. Generally, there's a risk to sticking around on, say, a generator when you hear the Spirit coming with her phasing. She moves faster than Freddy, and is less predictable because of that, so not even grass is a decent cue for her approach.
With the Prayer Beads, you can basically phase up to people and pull them off of generators/totems, etc. effortlessly with Monitor & Abuse. Start your phase from around a corner, and it's free grabs.
There's no counterplay, and since she moves faster than Freddy, and her approach cannot be detected, she'll get free hits even if you decide to gen-tap.
It's busted and needs to be reworked or nerfed. I like playing the Spirit, but she's pretty nice when audio functions correctly as it is; she doesn't need a broken addon like that.

@se05239 said:
It boils down to the developers being afraid to produce another Nurse or Hillbilly.
They should nerf them and rebalance the progression of objectives for survivors. It doesn't scale equally against the killers' functions.

It shouldn't be too difficult to get your stacks. You can give it a try in the PTB, if you like. You can reliably get a stack by taking a hit when the killer is carrying a survivor to the hook, as well as a second stack by taking a hit near an injured survivor.
It is meant to be hard to get considering the powerful effect of the perk.
Not defend MoM, but I'd like to point out how this logic doesn't wrap over to the killer designs well. It makes me think of Myers, whom builds up for his power, but laugh internally when thinking about Hillbilly--a killer that innately countered MoM outright.
-
@BBQnDemogorgon said:
The point is its avoidable. You can choose to never be MoM'd or DS'd by playing in a way that avoids the trigger of the perks.
While true for DS, I disagree with MoM because there's no guarantee you know who has it, and the only downside it has is almost universally irrelevant given that it's typically activated at the end of the match for a clutch save/escape.

Certainly, it seems unfair to be able to remove the hag's trap with flashlight.
More than 90% of hag users leave the lobby when they see survivors with flashlights. This is something wrong.
I've literally never left a lobby as Hag when survivors have 1-2 flashlights. It's really not that big a deal to change your trap strategy. Survivors with flashlights burn battery checking the 'obvious' trap spots, so you just use a different trap strategy to catch them.
Urban Evasion is a far bigger counter, and it's still not that difficult for Hag to deal with that, either.
-
His power is virtually nonfunctional on the PTB. It needs a lot of work before it'll even work, let alone be working at a level that can be considered balanced.
-
You should get full sacrifice points for someone that quits.
I don't get WGLF stacks when another survivor, or the killer, quits.
-
Red Forest needs more trees, first. I mean, seriously, it's the forest with the least trees I've ever seen.

I know Mori is pretty unbalanced, but in just my opinion mind you: survivors have keys to open the hatch, the fact that people don't use them often shouldn't be a counter argument, it's there and it makes things Alot easier survivor wise.
Just like how Mori makes it Alot easier killer wise.
Remove moris and keys. Neither are balanced and completely cut a match short with limited interaction.

It's still going to be free to play. I don't understand why people are crying about this so much.
If you don't like it don't get it, the same way you don't play killers or survivors you don't like.
Fortnite is free to play, but if I wanted that John Wick skin I had to pay for the Battle Pass to get it. Not buy the skin: buy the opportunity for the skin.
That's the problem with these faux subscriptions in Battle Passes: They pretend the game is designed around this as a bonus, when in reality the game is hamstrung, so that buying it equalizes the playing field for you.
You see this happening in a lot of mainstream AAA games nowadays, and why I wouldn't touch an Electronic Arts game even if a gun was to my head.

- Nurse
- Hag
- Spirit
- Huntress
- Pig
- Plague
- Legion
I'm a Pig/Hag main, though.
-
Imo, the Hag is the stronger killer, but they're both pretty fun to play.
You can get hilarious mind games out of both, such as Spirit just standing at a pallet, and sometimes survivors panicking and jumping back over to you because you can't tell the phase at point blank.
Hag can also do basically the same thing with traps near pallets. But she's more reliably powerful, especially if you choose to control a quadrant of the map with traps, and then hunt in another (my preferred strategy).

Hello
We are reluctant at the moment at modifying her. First we have other killers who are higher in the list for modification/balance needs. Second thing, our stats shows that she is top killer (4K) at rank one. It seems that once you've mastered her, she can be extremely effective. She definitely has a high skill curve.
Can you relay the statistics of the higher ranks in relation to what perks and addon setups people are using with her?

I don't see in Billy anything OP even with all his stuff, only enduring+spirit fury+charge time addons seems a little bit strong but this is 2 perks, 2 addons and survivors still can counter it, just dropping pallet earlier.
Edit:Billy is hundred miles behind real OP things like Prayers Beads Braclet or extra blink addons. Imo.
I don't think extra blinks are OP, especially since Nurse has a real penalty to her missing with blink. Hillbilly doesn't get penalized for missing his saw. He just fires it right back up (unlike Leatherface).
-
Trash cause it doesn't interact with sound properly. It'll help you find survivors from a further distance, but it doesn't help with positional accuracy.
Ex: You hear a survivor moaning LOUDLY, like they're right in front of you. In reality, because Stridor doesn't work correctly, they're likely to be 5-8 meters in front of you.
It's really dumb if you're trying to use it on Spirit, but it's good if you frequently lose injured survivors; however, I'd suggest Sloppy Butcher in this case, since there's no real counter to bleeding.
-
Pig and Hag, though everyone else can't seem to use common sense against the Hag.
Alternate tragedy: Pigs I play against almost universally tunnel my friend to death, even if he's not an obsession or anything.
-
A vanilla test could be useful for normalizing the baseline of survivors against the baseline of killers and their powers. Granted, it won't tell us, the players, shockingly different information than we already know, but...
Imagine Pig being able to Ambush survivors more often because there isn't Sprint Burst to prevent the first hit when they fail to spot her or hear the breathing, and thus flee too late.
That's probably the strongest example for how this environment could benefit a killer.
-
Non-obvious trapping. They can only burn so much battery trying to find them if they aren't in usual pallet spots, or pathways. You would be surprised how effective traps out in the wild can be.
-
Hillbilly needs a serious nerf, not buffs. lol
Leatherface needs a rework of some kind.
-

@Eninya It should be Prayer Beads removed not the Yakuyoke Amulet.
You're right, I keep getting them mixed up.
-
You can run the standard pallet counter build: Ruin, Brutal Strength, Enduring, and Spirit Fury, or swap out Brutal Strength with Bamboozle (which I prefer).
She's effective at deterring generator repairs, and can benefit from Overcharge or Pop on top of puking on things after kicking them.
-
The Pig - There will always be 6 Jigsaw Boxes (removes +box addons).
The Hag - No change.
The Spirit - Fix spatial audio. Prayer Beads* removed.
The Plague - Disease spreads within 8 meters; progresses 15% faster baseline. Additional addons for increasing proximity and object spread/linger, and progression speeds for lower addon tiers.
The Hillbilly - Cooldown on chainsaw sprint, base movement speed reduced.
The Cannibal - Chainsaw no longer instant downs; continues cutting through pallets, and retains multi-hit function and speed bonus.
The Huntress - Naturally searches lockers 20% faster.
The Trapper - Traps now have a maximum distance in which they can spawn from the Trapper.
