Unironically my favourite video-game villain, who happened to get into my most-played game with a pretty fun power and a lot of potential.
Of course I like him! :)
-
No, you will have to get to Prestige 3. Or wait for Off the Record to appear in the Shrine again after that.
Shrine hasn't changed much - it unlocks the perk, but it doesn't give any extra progression to the character whose perk you've unlocked.
Easier to just presige her to P3 at this point. That way you won't have to wait for god knows how long, unlock all her perks instead of just one and save yourself those Shards for bloodpoints or some cosmetics.
-
Still want Robin and Billy in the game.

All the Stranger Things kids are adults now, that's why I included them.
Most kid-actors are adults (Noah, who plays Will, is 17 if I'm not mistaken). But all kid-characters are still underage by the Season 4 finale.
Max, Lucas and Will are 15. Eleven, Mike and Dustin are 14. All teen-characters, on the other hand, are around 18 and above.

I was thinking they should add Wendy Torrance since the devs are competing against each other to design the most ugliest survivor.
Wendy Torrance looked like a sex-bomb model in books, iirc. And the movie version I wouldn't even call ugly, tbh, that's a bit harsh.
And why "the ugliest survivor", there isn't a single ugly survivor in the game so far. Quentin-goblin was fixed, don't see any others 🤔
-
Played with and against around 5 survivor cheaters, all of them got banned on their respective accounts due to my (maybe not only my) tickets.
The only cheater-killer I versed was a Spirit. But she threw the game, let us farm and escape, and also took me to the moon. Literally.
So yeah, haven't met malicious cheating killers myself yet, only survivors.
-
Adult Danny Torrance would make a perfect survivor, actually. More power to The Shining / Doctor Sleep parallels.
Map is Overlook Hotel, there really can't be much more, that building is too iconic. Snowy maze and the outside with animal-bushes are nice too, but it would be like adding Sewers or Jill's apartment building instead of RPD for Resident Evil chapter.

I have only finished first two seasons of AoT and am yet to watch third and fourth seasons, so I have no idea whatsoever who this Kenny guy is. That being said, I genuinly think it is the best AoT survivor skin of the bunch - feels like something Ace would actually wear himself too. Hange and Mikasa are pretty fine as well, I like that Yui's pink ribbon is also in there. Eren and Historia are nice outfits, but they feel a bit... boring I guess is the word, they feel more like peasant clothes from medieval period than AoT x DbD collab skins. Levi and Annie, in my opinion, are meh - you can even barely tell it's Annie, because of the hood, which she rarely wears.
Armoured Titan is close second, but I doubt I'll ever come around to getting one because of the pricetag - looks good though. I like what they did with Spirit's hair for Warhammer Titan - regeneration fog is a fun way to around it, great idea. But other than that, Warhammer Titan skin looks pretty bland, compared to Armoured one.

https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/2WXULYOXMAFW/2022escapekillrates.jpeg
These were released at the beginning of this year, and prove that before the update (6.1.0) that almost all killers had a greater than 50% kill rate, meaning the game favoured killers and never favoured survivors. The reason for the 6.1.0 update was to help killers when it was never hard for killers.
The 6.1.0 update is unfair to survivors.
This data also shows that Wraith is stronger than Nurse. Do you actually think this data is worth taking into account as the only truth?
-
Actually, ran into this issue today. Played as Leon against Nurse on Coldwind. While I was on hook - game froze and I got disconnected, receiving penalty. Despite the fact that my connection was perfectly fine. My post-game lobby showed both me and killer as disconnected, although somewhy I think for others matched continued as usual.
-
Believe it or not, I've literally seen zero Onis since 6.1 update dropped. Same goes for Bubba. Weird.
-
The change itself... I guess "redundant" is the best way to put it.
The problem with Thanatophobia, and the only problem with it, is the amount of value Legion and Plague get from it as opposed to other killers. This change doesn't address this issue, only encourages it. Now Legion and Plague not only able to get max value out of Thana, but they are also the only two killers in this whole game who can get ANY value out of it at all. Because, let's be frank, keeping all survivors injured is nearly impossible on any other killer and 6% from 3 injured people are negligible even without Resilience or Overzealous to counter it.
It's a nerf alright, but nerfs like this (which destroy perks almost completely) are not healthy for the game. Might as well delete it altogether.
-
Mood.
-
For the most part if I die - I die because my teammates couldn't care less about me being hooked.
Even if killer is nowhere near and they were never hooked themselves. And they know that.
Random teammates did not become any more selfless or bright with the update, unfortunately.
-
I literally have seen Ghostface, as a survivor, only one time since the latest update went live. Even Trapper was in my matches more often. So I don't know what's up with "I see him every other match", I guess you're just lucky since, of all killers, it's Ghosty you're versing so often. He's not as strong as Nurse, not as annoying as Trapper and Hag, not able to counter healthstates like Plague, so what's your problem? That he can finish stalking while upclose? If that's such a big of a problem - be aware of your own surroundings and don't give him easy stalk. If anything, his stalk ability is much more easily avoidable than Myers's, and is more fair too (Ghosty has to stalk the same survivor, Michael doesn't).
Regardless, the only thing that feels unbalanced with him is his reveal mechanic. Half of the time it feels impossible to reveal him while staring straight at him fully, another half of the time he gets instantly revealed half-motion while already hiding behind the wall. But that's a technical issue, not balance or strength issue.
-
Teammates.
They are way more efficient in killing me on first hook than any killer ever could be.
And you quite literally can't counter them once you're in a match.
-
The thing is - you shouldn't overdo DC penalties, because they are, in fact, accidental sometimes. Be it lights turning off around the block or Steam running an unexpected maintenance and shutting down servers for several minutes. Sometimes even the game itself is at fault, as there were some bugs and performance issues before, which forcefully disconnected players for seemingly no reason. And you can't always know whether the DC was accidental or intentional. And if it wasn't intentional (especially if game itself is at fault) you don't really want to punish players too much and make them lose gained stuff, because they didn't even want to disconnect from that match so imagine the reaction.
I think time penalties are fine as is.
-
It's kinda funny how many people go into sicko mode because of additional 10 seconds, which are pretty much negligible.
I see no problem in these extremely minor basekit changes, brought by newest update. If anything - they make this game healthier.

Might be playing with newer killers yet at that grade, seems fairly inconsistent to those playing at iridescent levels.
You are assuming. And your assumption is false. Just like everyone else I might get "newbie" killer once in a while, sure, but most of those I encounter are more than competent enough. If grades are important factor for you (despite them playing 0 role in matchmaking) - I usually finish my month at Iridescent 4 or 3. So far don't feel like this month will be any different.
And I'm not saying that I'm escaping every single game. But even after these, in essence, minor killer buffs, I still can play well enough to leave the match with result of +1 without much problem (which is a win imo). And the only times when it does become hard to pip, is when my teammates begin to instantly give up and ruin the match for everybody, not killers.
-
Survivor-wise I've been almost exclusively solo-queue player since January 2020. At the time of the update I was Silver 2 Grade with 0 pips. Right now I am Silver 1 Grade with 3 pips. Which means I "ranked up" at least 8 times since the Mid-Chapter went live two days ago.
I see absolutely no difference in the gameplay. Random teammates are just as dumb from time to time, killers are just as eager to camp, slug and tunnel even if they are Nurse or Blight with 4-5 gens up. Nothing has changed there. +10 seconds on a gen and most killer-perk buffs are almost negligible. Killers are still loopable and outplayable. The game quite literally feels the same gameplay-wise as before the update. And I genuinly don't understand what people are whining so much about. I get the feeling most of those complaining are just sad that they don't have an easy band-aid fix to any mistake 24/7, which Dead Hard pretty much was. And now they can't even escape without it.
Solo-queue wasn't "killed" or made worse. It's same as always. The only difference is that killer feels smoother to play and survivors have 2 less absolutely bs perks, which Dead Hard and Decisive Strike always were. Good riddance, I say. Lithe, Sprint Burst, Unbreakable, Adrenaline, Prove Thyself, Boons, Off the Record, Lucky Break, Kindred, Deliverance are still there intact. BT is now basekit and buffed. Although you can still be tunneled - you can't just as easily get "farmed" off hook anymore. And rushing gens isn't any less easier than a week ago.
I literally see no problem with the update. Apart from me still being a bit sad about BP bonuses removed from BBQ and WGLF.
-
That's a tough one, Chucky is a badass alright. But first Candyman movie is near and dear to my heart.
And, along with Shining and Outlast, it's one of the three licenses I would want to see in DbD the most as of now.

STBFL is one of my favorite perks. I use it pretty consistently, kinda. I only use it on Demo, who I think get's the most value out of it, but I play Demo pretty consistently.
But I've always wondered if Survivor's even find the perk threatening. There isn't a really noticeable effect until around four stacks, at least for me. I run it more-so because I think it's just a fun perk, and on my end it seems to cut down on chases at least somewhat.
Follow up question: If you don't, are you going to find it threatening with the new killer buffs? With STBFL, A killer can have a 50% reduced hit-cooldown (unless I missed something and they nerfed the perk). Combined with the shorter injured sprint-burst, how powerful do you think the perk will be.
I don't find STBFL to be anywhat problematic. If killer has 8 stacks, then it's pretty much survivors' fault for feeding kiler so many hits. And I don't think I encounter this perk that often to begin with. It certainly feels threatening in tight situations - like when unhooking or opening the door, but if it's just a regular chase - I wouldn't say it has THAT huge of an effect. Unless your teammates already wasted half the pallets - you can almost always get to one. And if not - run a chase perk or two. Overcome pretty much kills any momentum STBFL can give.

Demogorgon for sure and other killers who can use land powers hits easly.
There's not that many. Demo and Nemesis are probably the only killers who are capable to do that consistently while also getting value from STBFL. Pig fits, but it's far from easy to hit dash attacks nowadays, unless you're out in the open.
Purely M1 killers benefit from the perk hugely, but they can easily lose their stacks if pressured to hit the obsession. Range and one-shot killers don't even need STBFL to begin with. Deathslinger is an exception, but even he loses stacks from direct hits, like any M1 killer.
-
If you keep your characters at level 40, having unlocked their teachables, their perks will indeed unlock on everyone at Tier 1.
If you want those perks to be automatically unlocked for everyone at Tier 3 on update and you don't have at least 170 perk tiers on those characters - you'd need to get them at least to prestige 1 before the update drops. That way, their prestige 1 will translate to prestige 3.
Though I do not recommend prestiging pre-update, if you already have some offerings/items you value.
-
If I wanted to buff Trickster, the only thing I would change, probably, is make him a tad bit more like Oni, instead of Myers. What I mean by that is that I'd make Main Event to be available for activation at any point player feels fit after the bar was filled, no more forced time frames.
Other than that, I personally find him fine as is, to be honest. Not everyone has to be an S-tier killing machine with broken addons.
-
Leaving your teammate to get to second stage when there's no active danger in saving them (i.e. they're being facecamped by oneshot killer) is objectively dumb move, which might cost you whole match, regardless of reason. Besides, a person trying to self-unhook when teammate is right around the corner might just be new and trying to complete the self-unhooking achievement, which is understandable if you ask me.
So people who are effectively working with killer by intentionally letting their teammate die on first hook - yeah, can't commend them.
If one of my friends does that in context - it might be funny, sure. But there's almost never a "funny context" for a random to do this.

do you also happen to know what happened with perk-nodes in these bloodwebs that were already given to the character via the new system?
Perks in bloodweb just update automatically, without changing content of the bloodweb otherwise. I checked it while playing around with Prestiging mechanic on PTB - my Onryo had her clean level 50 bloodweb with Lightborn being one of the perks there. So I went and upped my Wraith from P2-50 to P3, unlocking all his perks at Tier 3, and that Lightborn from Onryo's bloodweb just changed to Thrill of the Hunt, not changing that bloodweb in any other way.
-
They don't reset. Bloodweb levels stay where they were at the moment of the update. It's Prestige levels that are being touched.
If you are P0 level 50 with 170 perks - you will be P3 level 50. If you are P3 level 35 - you will be P9 level 35. And so on.
The only thing is that now you won't be able to Prestige at level 50 without touching any items on it (like you can do now). You'll have to fully clear out your level 50 first and then you'll get to forced prestiging option, which will cost 20k.
At least that's the way it was on PTB, but I don't think they would change any of it at live.
-
Have been playing solo survivor since I started in January 2020, don't have much problem getting to Iri Grades now. Overall don't have any problems with the game as a solo-survivor gameplay-wise. My only problem is dumball selfish random teammates 90% of the matches - but that's not gonna change after the update. At least with basekit BT I'm not gonna get farmed off hooks anymore. 10 seconds on gens are nothing, really. And I'm completely fine without Dead Hard and Decisive Strike - barely use them as is, especially Decisive.
Honestly don't see how this update would ruin or degrade my experience.
-
The only thing I'm disappointed about is the fact that A LOT of people asked BHVR to remove prestiging payment and they just reduced it. It just proved to me that the only people they "listen to" are themselves - bloodpoint greed for no reason literally. Ah, also a bit disappointed that they somewhy shortened my automatic Prestige from levels 10-12 to level 9, I don't get why, but ok. "Legacy" portraits are much better than they were, but still underwhelming and still worse than, say, 1k IS for each prestige level.
I don't have any problem with Endurance, Bloodpoint Cap and Perk changes whatsoever. Great changes.
-
Imma vote Hoffman over Englund only because latter already has a lot of votes and I'm a bigger Saw fan than I am ANoES fan.
John just doesn't really fit the whole killer shtick - he's an old man who needs life support system by Saw 2 and barely can get up by Saw 3. Hoffminator fits way more, not to mention he's pretty much the very definition of a perfect agent of the Entity, along with Ghosty.
Myers from newest trilogy and classic version of Nemesis would be amazing too. And I'd much prefer female Pinhead (Kirsty) or Angelique over Sister Nikoletta. As for Leatherface and Samara - I wouldn't even want those, tbh.
While I do find some grace in TCM remake (and don't find any grace in 2022 movie), I don't think that those Bubba versions are even comparable to classic Leatherface aesthetic-wise and behaviour-wise (no pun intended). And main difference between Samara and Sadako is name and the fact that Samara is underage, pretty meh for a separate cosmetic that costs money if you ask me.
-
I like the core idea of what BHVR went with more, than just "removing perk tiers".
What I don't like is the execution of that idea, where they only worsened the grind with this new system.
The reason why I don't like removal of perk tiers is the same reason why I don't like how BHVR executed their idea - it does nothing for new players, but botch their experience. The only players who will be positively affected by the change are those who already played a lot and just don't want to grind anymore. Imagine logging in first time, no DLCs, and by the time you reach your first 23rd level as survivor - you already have all the perks game has to offer you at that point. It's simply underwhelming. There is this thrilling goal you get as a new player "aight, imma play more and imma get a lot of stuff and it's gonna be so cool and rewarding" - removing perk tiers makes this goal non-existent. New players will lose sense of progression extremely quick compared to now and there will be even less reason to keep playing - because why play more if you already have everything? What's the goal? There is none. And with no goal in mind - there's no reason to move forward.
-
I don't like Prestige Legacy rewards, they are insulting. I don't like increased grind on bloodwebs of everything but perks, it goes against what BHVR themselves said about "reducing grind". I don't like BBQ and WGLF losing BP bonus element - these perks are now dead to me.
Other than that - most changes seem interesting, I like a lot of it. Regardless of the result - I'm glad that BHVR is finally trying to shake up the perks, instead of keeping them stale and same as they did for years and years at this point.
-
It is redundant, simple as that.
It is hard to overheat on purpose, so the addons connected are useless (have no clue why one of them is purple).
And it's very annoying to get overheated just because you used your power for traversal long enough.
-
I think killer is very fun overall, otherwise I would just stop playing both sides and completely switch to survivor.
Even a hard match with result of zero kills can be fun if you tried your best and learned something. Even from an extremely easy match with free 4-kill on five gens you can still juice out a fun gameplay, if you give survivors a breather. And well-balanced lobby, where some are good and some are not so much, where it's sometimes too easy and sometimes an actual challenge, it's a perfect recipe for a fun game.
The only instance I can think of where playing killer isn't fun is scenario where you do your best and yet still feel like you can't do anything - your opponents are extremely efficient, always are where it's needed and never in the wrong place at the wrong time, predict every single one of your moves and even if they do screw up - they always have a lifebelt to use well and keep them flowing (pallets, windows, DH, DS). And so it's like you know you'll lose and you can't even get a redeeming chase out of the match. Real bummer. And while it shouldn't be rage-inducing, it certainly isn't fun in the slightest. Unless you're masochist lol
-
As a solo survivor myself - you are being overly dramatic.
10 seconds is barely an inconvenience, it's like few stacks of Thanatophobia. All while none of the gen-speed increase perks or items were touched - you can still rush the hell out of a gen with Prove Thyself, Fast Track, Resilience, Spine Chill, Overzealous (even more so with it being buffed) and various toolboxes with various addons. What's stopping killers from bringing "stacked regression perks"? Um, gutted Ruin and torn down PGTW, for example. Or maybe Corrupt that doesn't drag out anymore, if killer is efficient enough with downing survivors. Tinkerer now gives less information, so you won't see Blights spamming Tinkerer/Ruin anymore. And Pain Res gives no info at all, nor do you get interupted, so comination with DMS is pretty much dead.
And "every survivor meta perk decimated" statement is false. Unbreakable, Adrenaline, Boons and Sprint Burst are untouched, BT is being pretty much buffed, DH needs testing in order to give opinions, IW and Spine Chill were never that good to begin with, Self Care is still incredibly viable when paired with Botany Knowledge, and while DS is indeed gutted - Off the Record is pretty much a replacement. And many survivor perks were buffed too.
-
It's still is viable when paired with Botany Knowledge, maybe even more viable than right now, given BK's buff. And given that both are Claudette's perks - it makes sense you'd run both. The change is ok, I think, with CoH being even less consistent thanks to Shattered Hope. It's just that now you can't both save a perk slot and not waste extra time looking for totem to bless - you'll have to choose what are you willing to sacrifice for numerous heals: time or perk slot.
But I do agree that compared to Unbreakable or Adrenaline, Self Care is barely meta at all lol.
-
If I want aura reading, I'd pair it with something else. BBQ has extremely unreliable aura reading, but I love bonus BP, as it gives me chance to spend less time on the game without using up my offerings. With that gone, I, personally, see no reason to bring it in ever again.
Even Darkness Revealed from Dredge feels more consistent, as there's no limitation range-wise as long as they are near locker, plus they never know when you'll use it.
So yeah. RIP, BBQ, we had a good run.
-
The only thing I can say without testing on PTB, is that BBQ and WGLF are effectively dead to me as perks - bloodpoint bonus was the main appeal of those perks and I'm very disappointed that BHVR decided to remove it. While grind is reduced with Prestige rework, you still will have to play twice as many matches to get to a desired BP amount, which is pretty tiring.
And, also, Hex: Ruin is now a survivor perk, it looks like. Completely gutted. I don't get why is it still Hex despite all these nerfs.

Haddies mask is not part of the 12 collectable masks via invitation, neither is Dredges. It's Dwight, Elodie, Ace, Jane, Mikaela and Yui/ Trapper, Artist, Trickster, Deathslinger, Huntress and Spirit. The Event Tome has 2 Pages, it will probably be on page 2 that will release in 4 days
It confused me too at first :p
Well, now I feel like an idiot lol.
I guess the idea that Haddie has a mask in this Event got so engraved into my head, that I completely forgot about Elodie's existence. Thank you for clarifying. Those "X/X" from Dredge's skin led me down the wrong path of thinking x)

Edit: My friend claims to have gotten the achievement, despite using purple and yellow addons (Boat Key and Haddie's Calendar), so my theory is most likely false and the possibility of getting the achievement is completely random.
--------------------------
Important. Or, it could be. I think I might have found the core of the problem.
I finally got the Adept achievement on my third Merciless win. But my build was different when I got it, so this info might have some value.
I believe the problem lays in the addon selection. The problem seems to exist when yellow addons are used. Specifically when I used combination of Malthinker's Skull and Burnt Letters - Merciless Killer +2 did not grant me the achievement. But after I switched to green Worry Stone and Broken Doll - it very much worked as intended. Most likely, yellow addons aren't only ones under suspicion - as I see that several people who posted here also used purple ones, Boat Key seems to be popular among people with this issue. I am not sure about iridescent and brown addons, and also those green ones that I did not use.
It is also possible that offerings might be somewhat at fault - specifically bloodpoint bonus ones for all categories. Because in both of my failed attempts on Adept (where I got Merciless, but no achievement), I had either Hollow Shell or Survivor Pudding. But in an attempt that was successful, I used Ardent Shrike Wreath, which grants bonus only for Sacrifice category. Then again, in @dreamsy10 's screenshot there are no offerings used at all and they still did not get the achievement, so I'm inclined to believe it's because of the addons.
That being said, until the issue is resolved completely, I'd advise using exclusively green addons for the time being (only when trying to get Adept of course, addons 100% don't affect any other achievement, connected to Dredge).
-
Same issue on the same platform.
@TMCalypso said:
Are the achievements in the list for you? I'm on xbox one and the new achievements aren't in the list at all.
Yes, on Steam they are in the achievement list. Haddie's Adept worked perfectly fine, but Dredge's seems to be malfunctioning.
-
If done right - why not. If done lame - not so much.
Like, there's only one "jumpscare" in its purest sense in this game right now - Sadako in her lobby menu. And her jumpscare was impactful and interesting first few times on PTB, but by the time she went live it already became quite stale to me. The only other thing that is close is Hag's traps, but after you played enough - they start to feel more annoying than scary or anything else. Especially if she's got that deafening addon - it's simply unpleasant and irritating, not frightening and tense.
So, I'd say I would prefer not so much jumpscares, but rather tensity during the gameplay itself - like, you don't know which corner Michael or Ghosty might come around. And by the time you notice them it might be too late, so you gotta always make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Dredge on the PTB seemed like a killer with just about right amount of scary-element to it - but we'll see how Dredge will age.
-
It is unknown at the moment.
Devs explicitly mentioned only BBQ & Chili, Corrupt Intervention, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Hex: Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Iron Will and Self-Care. But the exact number of perks getting changes was not specified, so it might be 40, or slightly more, or slightly less. And Head On might very well be among those perks.
Here's the direct quote from their blogpost made on May 17th:
What’s planned for this update? At the risk of giving too much away, it may very well take the crown as the most substantial one in Dead by Daylight history. Nearly 40 perks (exact number to be confirmed), including all the META Perks listed above, will undergo changes. “It’s an intentional attempt to shake things up,” explains Matt S, Dead by Daylight’s Design Director. “There have been adjustments to certain controversial perks in the past, but this is the biggest collection of perks being changed at once.” (c)
-
I already have had Nea, Bill, Quentin, Tapp, Kate, Nancy, Steve, Yui, Cheryl, Jill, Leon, Mikaela, Bubba, Freddy, Spirit, Executioner, Trickster, Nemesis, Pinhead and Sadako P3-50'd way before the Prestige changes announcement. And I am currently prestiging Feng, Jeff, Meg, Ash and Laurie to P2-50, so that I can P3 them on the Anniversary (waiting for event cakes). I might also consider adding Clown, Yoichi, David, Jake and maybe even more survivors to that list. And I am 100% P3-50ing Haddie and Dredge before the Prestige update drops.
I also have some killers, who are either Prestiged but not fully (Pig, Ghostface, Demo, Doctor, Artist) or not Prestiged at all (Legion, Huntress, Myers, Oni, Wraith), who I will not be P3-50ing just for this "reward", because I either have a lot of perks on them already (Ghosty, Demo, Doc, Huntress, Myers, Oni, Wraith) or have every single existing perk on level 3 (Pig, Legion) with a bunch of addons. Especially after it was confirmed that this "reward" will not be a Legacy 2.0, so it's not like I'm gonna be getting anything unique or much interesting anyways.
-
I believe there's a slight VFX to Dredge being in a locker. And it's much easier and faster to just walk past every locker on the map while simply looking at them, rather than checking every quarter of the map and closely listening for Wraith's sounds.
-
I would've said an abundance of dummies, who can't help but use slurs, death threats, virtuoso cussings and horrible wishes after every single match. But that's, probably, the main problem of the gaming community as a whole, not just Dead by Daylight exclusively.
The devs aren't a problem. I mean, I'm sure there's a person or two who are lacking, as no company is pitch perfect, but overwhelming majority of DbD devs are great. They might be slow on adressing and fixing some of the game's issues, but I can't really criticize them for it, because: 1) I haven't had personal experience of working on DbD, so can't speculate on how hard it is to solve those issues; 2) they do, eventually, fix those issues one way or another. And you can't really blame them for never listening to community, because they do, in fact, listen. Plus, it's not like there's a single company out there, which runs a multiplayer game for years and never ever makes decisions, that might feel dumb or bad.
NOED and Boons are merely perks, they aren't a problem per se, even if they might need some tweaks going forward. In my opinion, saying that any Boons or Hexes are a huge problem for DbD is like saying that the main problem of a certain Battlefield game is some gun or two. And SBMM, I feel like, is the prime example of nocebo effect in action - everyone says it's horrendous, and in turn everyone believes it's horrendous. When in reality it's not THAT much worse than previous system - just as random, just as bs at times. People just remember bad matches much more vividly than good and normal matches, while "past" always associates with "better times" - that's just the nature of human brain.
I feel like the grind is the biggest, most tiresome aspect of the game for me at the moment. But, on paper, I adore changes they're planning on bringing to prestige this summer, so I guess we'll see. Would've loved getting more competent random teammates more often, but it's not really something BHVR can easily "fix" to my understanding. So my short answer to the question - grind.

One of the most balanced ones, imo, at the moment. It has strong loops, but as any other pallet-connected-loop they become pretty weak as soon as you break that pallet. It has pretty open areas, but houses and corners are still a good place to hide. Myers house has a semi-infinite, but also a very powerful basement. Fences are still there, but they are intertwined with pallets and are much shorter. Strong survivors can put up a good fight and loop a bad killer for eternity, but smart killers always have a chance to come out on top no matter the situation.

I mean, I'm sure than in a year or so I'll finally memorize on which page every single perk is, but search bar is much handier at the moment. Only for perks, though. Lists of items, offerings and addons are already very easy to browse through as is - it would be excessive.

The one from the DbD Mobile game should replace the outdated one from PC.
I mean, just look at it:
Sadly, it's not even coming to DbD Mobile. Not in the nearest future at least.
It's some special version of the game from NetEase, which will have new killer animations and many cool skins exclusive to Asian region.

I'm sorry, but WHAT "cool Julie skin" are you talking about ? She has NONE. None. The closest we get to a cool Julie skin is her skull face one and even then its like mid-tier, Frank's is way cooler because his entire body is painted like a skeleton. Julie gets a plain black shirt and some red paints. 99% of her skins are some type of jeans, and a dark colored shirt/jacket. she literally has no variety or fun designs.
meanwhile we get kitty suzie, neon suzie, year of the pig suzie--like all three are gorgeous amazing skins and all different visually.
and you can mix and match all you want only to a certian degreee because the body is the body--i dont wanna be some pidgeon toed shy girl that is Suzie. BHVR can only "root for cute" and its lame af.
Julie's Day of the Dead "Party Crasher" skin is literally the best Legion skin in the whole game, change my mind. It's better than anything Susie ever got, as much I love her Chinese New Year skin. The only thing that anywhat rivals it, is Joey's Expo Cosplayer skin, but only because of its robotic voicelines. Does Julie need more? Sure why not. Are those of her skins that are in the game "not cool"? No, that's a lie.
And "shy girl" is merely a "mask" for Sue. Judging by her skin descriptions and her face model - she's pretty much the most manic member of the gang. Besides, you compliment her skins so much that I fail to see what problem you have with her getting those "gorgeous skins". They won't look the same on others after all, nor would they fit their personalities - and gameplaywise she's no different from Jules, like, AT ALL.
