Possibly a two part power. We get to see a more fleshed out version of the skull, but what is that thing below it? Some sort of transmitter or something? Possibly a trap?
I'm not sure but I kinda looks like a makeshift battery or car engine more pointing towards a cyborg killer
-
I think it might be asorove - wraiths boss he tormented people with mechanical contraptions and with the entity's ability to bring people back from the dead (showed with Maurice twice now) he could of continued to kill and improve his ability. This is a long shot but I've been right once or twice but I do hope it is a cyborg killer would be cool

Just.... What. Is there any Killer Perk even remotely close to how stacked CoH is? Closest is Eruption or Overcharge but it still exceeds either of them in terms of how much this Perk has.

I see a lot of survivor players expecting the killer side to care about their fun - i.e. not tunnelling, not slugging, not camping, not sweating etc.
But what about survivors caring about KILLER'S fun? I've compiled a list of things survivors can do to increase the other side's fun - this way both sides can have fun, and that's the main goal, right?
Survivor Things to Do for Killer's Fun:
- Chill out with the gens - if you see 2-3 gens popping very early, chill out. Go do a totem or open a chest. You don't want the game to end prematurely. It would be equivalent to tunnelling a person out very early in the game.
- Chill out with SWF communication - if you're in a Discord voice call with your buddies, don't call out information that would not be available to you had you played solo. Immerse yourself more in the game and make the game fair and fun for BOTH sides.
- Don't tunnel gens - very simple. If a killer downs a survivor near 99 % completed gen, don't go to gen to complete it while the killer is going to hook someone. Leave the gen, and come back to it later. The killer put pressure, he deserves that gen being left alone. And if you tunnel that gen, this is equivalent to camping a survivor in the last seconds to get the 2nd/the 3rd stage on a survivor.
- Don't hold W too much. Survivor holding W is an extremely unfun thing for a killer - there is 0 interaction and very little counterplay. Chill out with the W button, and go for a loop. In the end, that's what both sides want, correct? Chases, mind games and fun for both sides
- Try to avoid using God Pallets. God Pallets is the literal definition of antifun for the killer - no counterplay and 0 interaction. Try to avoid using God Pallets unless it's a dead zone and God Pallet is the only thing available in that area. That is if you care about both side's fun.
These are a few things that survivors can do to make the killer's game more interesting and fun. If you have any further suggestions, let me know - curious to hear them!
Yeah was playing with some random in a chat saw 3 gens fish quickly set my boon and kept resetting it every time he snuffed it gotcalled out for throwing and they kicked me

The Average Killrate was 72.1% (721 / 1000 Kills) of all the matches was (I count DCs as kills for this data, since killing a Survivor effectively removes them from the match, and DCing does as well; 92 of the kills were DCs, 67 of which were done on Death Hook).
Almost every match ended in a hatch standoff, I escaped 27 / 250 times through Hatch and 5 / 250 times through the Exit Gates, meaning I escaped 12.8% of my matches; the rest of the escapes were my teammates getting out via Hatch or Exit Gates.
All matches were played in SoloQ.
Yea, it is depressing. I would recommend taking breaks. It goes a long way.
You escaped 32 times out of your 250 games I find that hard to belive I could of expected at least 50 escapes these stats seem kinda not bonafied didn't mention anything about the other perks that were played

I just started playing Nemesis and the number of times my zombies have infected and/or downed a survivor is at least once a match. Maybe it's different at higher MMRs. My wish for Nemesis would be for some aim assist with his tentacle strikes.
Nemi tip when you whip straif a direction it will slightly extend the hit detection adding a very little forgiveness to his whip but better than none
-
@Blizwise said:
Like the idea, but his tiers are great how they are, his biggest down side is the zombies.
Either nemesis needs a solid buff, or his zombies do.
Zombies just need to be smarter with pathing and a bit faster attack that’s not almost 100% dodged unless caught somewhere tight.
If they leave zombies then give nemesis a solid little buff. Like actually making his t-virus useful lol
Honestly I think his zombies are great for pressure rather than downs better than knight

Thats not a valid argument, first of all two wrongs dont make one right and second, old DH wasnt a problem for 5 years, it only became a it after dedicated servers and hit validation, when the Killer was the host DH wasnt considered a good perk because it usually ended with exhausted on the ground, the main exhaustion perk back then was either SB or Balanced landing.
Okay so for 3 and a half years then

If you dont have issues with this perk is because you are not playing in soloQ.
"The time it takes a killer to kick all the gens and down someone outplays the positive", are you serious? 9sec of instant regression plus 25 sec of incapacitation is not enough??
Then why don't you take agro make the killer chase you so your team can do gens

@killer998 said:
There's not much to say about him that's good tbh. He's honestly so bad it's ridiculous. He has to be one of the most survivor friendly killers they've ever released.
His power is not only awful, it's painful. You can't see the survivors but they can see you making the path, they can hear you making a path. The guards take too long to activate. since they can also hear and see you making a path on top of their activation the survivors are gone by the time you're done setting it up holding forward. They're slow af, they're dumb af. They get stuck all the time. They can see the guards auras as they're patrolling and the Path the guards are patrolling.
It's harder to do but they can also take the banner and get a speed boost and endurance.
The power is also clunky af. There's so many points where you're not allowed to use it. It takes a hot second to start channeling it and it feels like the orbs a drop-down than a spawn in with the camera angle. You can get stuck on things when you're trying make a path and on controller at least let me tell you, it can be f'ing hard to get out of being stuck in a wall or object.
He gets fat shamed at loops at times or in chase he can't fit through things. He's loud af as he stomps around.
He feels rushed for the Christmas sales and he's just obscenely weak overall. At the higher levels of play where swfs rule and survivors sweat non stop he literally gets nothing but hardcore stomped outside of camping. He's a good camper but that's it and that only goes to show how yet again, bad he is.
The only place he can be decent is at the lower ranks of play where most of the player base is. That can be the only place he can thrive. Where no one has a clue what's happening and are learning the game.
He CANNOT contest the top level of play in his current state. You might get the one game here or there if you're really lucky or the survs F up big time. But he genuinely can't compete with them.
Forget top level a noob who dosent understand dbd can beat him because most just hold forward

Feed back the knights guards need to adjust their pathing when phasing through objects

Is there anyway we can get a killer instinct notification when a guard spots a survivor? It can be very disorienting to follow up after a guard spots a survivor when you don't know exactly where they are or where they're running in response. I've found that it would help me a lot in matches to position myself to flank the chased survivor.
This is also a good idea it's not the buff I was asking for but a great substitute to allow him to get ahead to pinch the surivor off
-
@VoidOfMe said:
The night is one of those ideas that is an awesome addition, but the game is not ready yet to receive it.
Hopefully, they will be working and adjusting him as time goes on, I bought him, but I haven't played him yet, got very discouraged after watching other people play lol.
Hey don't be discouraged there's plenty to do with him he just needs more changes

@Pulsar said:
He sucks. Interesting concept but his actual power is just awful.
It's bad at zoning, it's bad at being used in a chase and it's bad for 3-gens. The ONLY thing it's good at is camping hooks and exploiting bugs.
In my far too early overreaction analysis, I said this, "He's got a very cool concept and his cosmetic design is pretty cool (besides the Sadako hair falling out of his helmet) but his actual power leaves a lot to be desired.
It's entirely possible that a tech will be discovered shortly that will boost his power level but as it stands, he's probably bottom 5, possibly the worst Killer.
His power is just...completely ineffective in chase. You lose distance for even daring to try it AND your guards will never catch a Survivor. You can't even really hold people at loops like Artist can, she maintains control of her body while placing a Bird. The Knight doesn't and has a lengthy channel to place his Guards.
The double whammy is that his power is also really bad at controlling space. The Guards take FAR too long to lock on and give Survivors so much of a head start that they have no hope of catching them. He just makes three gens take longer, but he won't ever win them.
The only thing he actually seems to excel at is hardcore camping, which personally, I didn't think we needed another one of those. His Guards can chase and hit people near the Hook and can effectively deny unhooks. He might be in the Bubba-tier of facecamping."
I stick by pretty much all of that except for one thing. I think he is the worst Killer in the game, at the moment. I think his perks are his sole redeeming factor.
Trapper has good add-ons and is actually really effective at maintaining a 3-gen lockdown. Freddy has some sort of anti-loop that is actually meaningful. Sadako has one absolutely monstrous playstyle powered by great add-ons. Myers has great add-ons and some lethality. Knight has garbage add-ons, no lethality and no chase power. He needs major adjustments that, judging from Sadako, he will not be getting for at least 6 months.
100% agreed but if you want a better version of the knight play nemisis with the knights new hex the zombies will go to the screams of survivors

I am using the 16s hunt addon in that game.
The assassin with the detection addon can be dropped in the middle of two tiles and you shut down both without having to kick either of them. Zombies don't chase survivors straight through pallets and windows at up to 4.4m/s.
Knight can break a gen 40m+ away with addons, and then immediately turn around to drop a guard to face camp someone for up to 30s, and then go patrol an entirely different gen all within a 15 second window or something
Zombies can have detection range addons pressure a person for much longer than 16s and at an infinite range and there's 2 of them and Guards camping dosent work because as soon as they start the unhook animation yhe hunt ends even zombies are better at camping because they don't de spawn

??? This killer is a 4k machine
Look at that detection radius, it's insane. Into a 16 second chase
Anytime a survivor goes to an isolated tile it's been a free hit or they are forced to leave. Even shack hasn't been safe
Don't understand how people think this killer is bad, he can also instadown if you wait for the guard to hit someone before you do too
Nemisis is just better is every way guards chase for like 12s they are 5% faster than surivors and you don't even need to out run the guards just grab the banner after 5s you get a Sprint burst also
zombies chase forever can be made faster with addons don't despawn unless killed don't have to command them to exist and you can insta down them also
Plus he has a power that can be used anywhere
-

The exact opposite, actually. It's so they don't waste the majority of their chase time trying to get where they saw the Survivor. Say you're on the second floor of a building (Garden of Joy, for example) and a guard on ground level see you. If they immediately started chasing, their chase time would be nearly up by the time they can run through the house to get to you. It can also help in level areas with long obstacles too (long Ormond rocks, car stacks in Gas Heaven, etc.) where the guards would normally have to run all the way around.
The Jailer also benefits from this the most. Since he has the largest detection radius, that phase helps him close the distance with the Survivor quickly before starting his chase. Detecting Survivors from so far away would be a huge downside if he started his chase immediately; most of it would be gone by the time he gets to them.
Thank you for making that clear but if a guard sees a surivor on the second floor and the surivor drops immediately the guard is still going to go to that second floor then chase the surivor that is on the ground rather than adjusting and going back down to ground floor if they have time to do so

To give suvivors distance. The Guards are not supposed to down or injure survivors on their own consistently. They're more of a disruptive element to force survivors to lose time, if you're not using them to 2v1 the chase.
But here's the thing if they are supposed to be a disruptive force then why dose the banner exist eruption is a better disruptive force than these guards it can force people off gens form any distance. There's nothing these guards can do that the player or a perk can't do better

I don't have messages open anymore, but when I did it was like random BS messages every other game. You still get some random BS chat on PC but it's nothing like Xbox players.
