Neither.
Jack the Ripper was an actual killer, who whilst has appeared in other games like Assassin's Creed, in my opinion shouldn't be trivialized and used in a game.
Jeepers Creepers should be totally off limits on account of the director's history.
-
I couldn't give a stuff it I don't get some silly Claire's Accessories to hang on my hooks: these challenges are not worth the hassle.
-
I agree. Some of the challenges rely on luck and killer/survivor potatoism. This is not good. Really put my nose out of joint. As I mentioned previously, I am not spending another penny on the Archives/Pass, and I absolutely mean that.
-
Actually didn't watch any. Finished off series 3 of Stranger Things.
-
The worst was earlier today. Had a campy GhostFace. I had been worked my butt off throughout the match with gens and unhooks...then the campster ran wild and downed and hooked me...just as the last gen got fixed. "Don't worry! My team-mates will help me!" I thought, seconds before they all skipped through the exit gate. Then, in a sudden unexpected turn of events, just as I died on the hook, CampFace disconnected! And I lost my totem cleanse progress and was given zero bloodpoints. A right old laugh.
-
Equip 'Iron Will' and 'Unbreakable' and drink more! Enjoy the party!
-
Even though I wasn't trying, I think I have only got 4 in the basement once or twice ever.
With the EGC 3 unhooking, we best make a deal with the killer and get our farming overalls on.
-
Simple. The challenges and extra bloodpoints encourage selfishness and recklessness. It disrupts the base objectives.
-
Include ridiculous challenges...players can't do challenges...players use collected cells to go up tiers...players spend more money to progress...The Art of the Deal π
-
The sad thing is I've had matches in Tier 1 where I am completing 3 gens and 4 chests on my own...really is luck of the draw.

I guess I better watch it. I just want them to add him to DBD, he would make the game actually scary. Imagine this running at you
He does look legitimately creepy.

that part was really gross.. I had to look away lmao
how would they include that? in a new map maybe..
They wouldn't! π Far too gross.
There is another Terrifier film coming too.
-
Imagine if they included the infamous upside down hacksaw death. MONEY!
-
They should of really sorted this. I mean Pig's DLC weapons have different sound effects.
-
...and we can't complete the challenges. Fan-flipping-tastic.
-
I was all set to buy the new Laurie skin...but in light of these challenges, I closed my wallet.
-
...and I just saw all the unlockable cutscenes on Youtube. π
-
If you're up against survivors levels 1-8, it's pretty useless.
-
I understand this is a game...but simply put: if you were a survivor and awoke in to a strange, horrific landscape before being pursued by a hulking, bloodthirsty killer...the last thing on your agenda would be twerking or doing the floss.
-
Yeah. Even with everything going on in DBD...this feels a disappointment unfortunately.
-
I was more positive than negative about it...until I saw the tier 4 challenges. Now I have tier 4 negativity.
-
Worthless tat. Bah Humbug!
-
There is plenty in Badham. Give it a look.
-
100% against. No. Absolutely awful.
-
Currently dressed as Part 2 Jason with a Part 8 mask. Opening the door to trick or treaters/victims.
-
Did it first time, Badham. Piece of cake.
-
Agreed. I'm out on this pass business. I brought the premium pass yesterday but in light of these later challenges, I wouldn't be bothering with it too much. The later challenges are FAR too difficult and there is no way I am spending any more money on the Archives.

Someone tried to do the a chest challenge yesterday. They told us in the pre-game chat that they were doing the challenge. I told her that I wouldn't touch the chests then.
At the end of the game, I asked her if she completed the challenge and she said no. Someone else got the basement chest. So, even with giving the survivors a heads up in the pre-game lobby, these challenges can be difficult. The one survivor that searched the chest most likely hadn't read or seen the pre-game chat box and didn't know.
The flashlight challenge sounds really hard to me too. I've never used a flashlight to blind a killer or tried. I was always afraid that would irritate them. I guess I'm going to have to start giving it a try. I'm scared! :)
Well this is the thing...as a killer if I get blinded by a survivor with a flashlight, they've just signed their death warrant. Obviously it is a part of the survivor abilities, but it does irritate killers and they remember the flashlight user.
I'll have to swat up on my flashlight skills...if I even get to the challenge and/or can be bothered going for it.
-
The way I see it is that if I don't get all the unlockables...so what:
-I can listen/view the 'lores' on youtube.
-I have plenty of good skins already.
-I don't give two hoots about the charms/hanging items.
So yeah...I like doing the challenges for the extra bloodpoints but not overly bothered if I don't get all the trinkets.
-
And there's the decision maker.
I'm not going to invest too much in to all this Archives malarkey.
Many of these goals seems unobtainable and I will probably end up in a bad mood wasting too much time attempting them.
This is just a game.
-
Agreed. The challenges are good...just don't start making them silly hard.
-
I am enjoying the Trapper story. Good that they actually gave him some beef on the bone and not make him a mindless killing machine. I've always been a fan of character development in horror.
-
I honestly thought this was about a cosmetic gone wrong! π€

This event isn't like last year. You'll get serum from the rift.
Too bad, cuz last year's was awesome.
@Darkskies said:
You only get blood point bonus I think for using the special hooks and that's it. π
Really? That's a bit plop.
-
Yeah go to the game and manual check update. Hopefully should pop up.
-
Will download whilst making jack-o-lanterns π
-
Imagine it gets to 11am ET...and then we get an unexpected Twitter post. Big belly laughs no doubt! ππ€

If you have a problem with that, just use STBFL! : D
I don't quite see what's wrong with having an optional animation killers can perform at any time they want. Survivors have them. It's only fair that killers can too...
Thing is that survivor emotes are there to communicate to other survivors ('Come' and 'There!') as part of the team.
I'm am totally against emotes that are simply taunts and poses. Personal preference.
-
I'm sure we would all laugh our backsides off if it got postponed at the last minute...
-
I alway kill the cheater.

can someone please tell me what time for me to expect to start? yet again it's past 11am and still not got it. when they say 11am which country is it for, i'm in uk?
3pm here in the UK.
-
3pm here in the UK.
-
Then we would be seeing a HELL of a lot more survivors starting with keys.
-
I agree. It's in some ways more irritating as the survivor gets BP and doesn't risk a ban. A real eye-ball roller. It can be seen as a safe d/c though and the game does give the player the option of hook escape attempts.
-
Good-o. Carving jack-o-lanterns tonight but should have a little time to try it all out later.
-
Besides, the killers each have an irritating built-in emote after they successfully hit a survivor (wiping/looking at weapon etc).
It would only be used as a taunt for hooked/blocked survivors. The killer is a solo player and doesn't need to communicate with members of a team.
-
The new Laurie attire her best one.
If Michael was unmasked, like when he escapes the hospital, I would be interested. But that's not going to happen obviously. As it stands, I think it's just silly.
