As a long time horror fan, one of the genre's biggest flaws is that the majority of heroes/heroines featured in horror films are physically handsome/beautiful. Not everyone is a 'work of art'.
-
I think keys are perfectly fair...except when they get used in a match where I'm killer...
-
Switch should have Mario characters for the Cannibal/Nightmare perk avatars.
-
Just had the usual SWF crapantics...
Clicky flashlights, pallet runs, teabaggery etc.
Eventually got the toxic leader and Bubba-camped the pink haired twonk on the hook.
Got down to two survivors...and what do you know?...they escaped via a key...the cherry on the cake.
-
I'm sure today he said "We're never gonna complete those Tome 4 challenges.."
-
Steve is THE Survivor. Add him.
-
Gideon/The Game =
Multiple levels.
Grisly decor.
Authentic.
-
I do have some I would like to see in the game, especially for some of the licensed characters, but I decided since the inclusion of the pass that I am not purchasing anything except for survivors/killers/chapters.
No more cell cosmetics for me. Not spending another penny on unnecessary, pointless tat.
-
If anything, they should of only included gruesome horror charms for the killers' hooks which fit the overall feeling eg medical objects for Doctor, dead animals for Hillbilly etc. But no. Here comes a Pop Vinyl to scare our opponents in to submission.
-
I get good results with him.
It's all about setting traps in places where there is a high likelihood of it being a survivor chase trail.
Vaults, windows, landing areas...it's very satisfying when it works.
He has good EGC security strength too.

I meant two full cosmetics or 6 pieces all together. Doesn't all have to be the same character.
Oh ok gotcha.
Yeah I've only unlocked two, Spirit's body and head.
-
Really? I thought it was only possible to download 2 full skins? Haven't got the game open at the moment.
-
Gizmo.
-
Nothing really. If 4 Survivors simultaneously join a lobby all wearing the same skins and are all equipped with tool boxes/flashlights...I know that's trouble.
I only really change Franklin's Demise if I have it equipped and none of the Survivor's are starting with items.
-
I'm nun too happy about this. 😀
-
I'm against unmasking masked killers. It destroys their mystique.
On the other hand, I'm all for masking killers who don't usually wear masks ie Hillbilly. But then again, that would make the masked killer count oversaturated.
-
I would like to see Billy as a Survivor...maybe have him wear a backpack with Gizmo sticking out of it.
-
Since Double Blood ended I haven't bothered playing.
The completion of the Halloween gens/hooks don't reward a sufficient amount of blood points.
As the whole serum aspect relies totally on progression through the Rift, there is no urgency to play the Withering Blight.
-
Good idea.
-
I have only disconnected about two or three times ever since 2017 on purpose and have never done so since it become punishable on PS4.
The only disconnections which has occured this year were via error messages etc.
-
I brought on PS4 on disc for about £25 around July 2017.
-
"You know what ol' Jack Burton says at a time like this?"
"Who?"
"Jack Burton... ME!"
-
The only game that legitimately scared me was F.E.A.R 2. Going up ladders...turning around...and the ghost girl is standing there made me jump a few times. Tense stuff.
-
Imagine if Jeff and Jane got married. The noise from that honeymoon suite would be deafening.
-
It means different things to different people. Which is highly irritating.
-
For me they're not an incentive to grind away at the pass.
Also, having a little toy hanging from a hook made to sacrifice humans is ridiculous.
-
The serum should of been via collection in game.
The challenges should not be ridiculous hard in the later tiers.
They should of included more simple new colour variants of skins instead of that charm nonsense.
Regarding charms...in my opinion they look hookey and don't look right in a sinister horror game.
-
I also tend to swear quite a bit when playing DBD. Which is not a good thing.
For me, I think there is a odd fixation in playing and leveling up: "MUST COMPLETE PASS! MUST UNLOCK USELESS TAT!"
But...I'm addressing this now. I spend too much valuable time on DBD.
-
Yamaoka Estate.
Reason? Everything is all over the place. Bab-ruddy-boo all over the show. Gets right up my nose.
-
Had 3 matches this morning: Used Freddy to get a daily and had two survivor matches.
My killer match involved some arch joker running around clicking a flashlight who naturally had DS as a perk.
The Survivor games were both VS Spirit, both with the legendary prayer beads...along with BBQ&C and Ruin.
None of the games were fun.
I also find myself getting snappy with people if I'm getting irritated by a game.
I unlocked all the teachables today...so I don't need to obsessively grind so much.
Going to still play DBD...just less. When it's no longer fun, it's time to have a rest.
I love horror and enjoy being creative, so I'll spend time on other things.
Only play a game if you have fun playing it.
-
Dennis Nedry and The Spitter.
-
I've got to the point where I'm fine with Ruin skill checks...unless the killer is also using a tiered up Lullaby hex.
-
Yes.
Mori/Bleed out/Hook...anyway as long as they die.
-
Games should be fun.
When they stop being fun, I stop playing.
-
Example. Last match:
Going against a Legion who keeps slugging.
I'm doing the final gen, two other survivors left (one floored, other being chased).
I finish the final gen, the floored survivor has Adrenaline...jumps up runs to nearest gate, powers it up 99%...then heals in front of the switch, then crouch blocks it so it remains closed and I can't activate it.
The little turd then has the audacity to point to go rescue the other survivor who has since been hooked.
Seeing as this prat isn't moving and suspecting the Legion has NOED, I decide not to go rescue the survivor. But the troll sits there...crows appearing...the killer doesn't come...and then the killer quits.
Blinding. Absolutely blinding. 10/10 for effort.
-
Folk here on the forum are a pretty good bunch, but in-game...yeah...DBD has one of the worst.
-
This and emotes = NO.
-
Nope.
Some of the skins just look silly. Michael Myers knife looks absolutely ridiculous for example.
It's a lot of grind for very little reward. There are some skins that look better bloody (Spirit, Leatherface etc) but it takes far too long to prestige everyone.
I honestly wouldn't bother.
-
It's a lot of effort and that totem can be cleansed at any moment.
-
Yes. The excitement of collecting serum to gain skins has been replaced with an annoying grind. Boo.
-
I love games like this. Those little legends who constantly pallet drop/teabag, pallet drop/teabag...and then when you get them...they're confused and outraged to why they get taken to Tunnelsville.
-
All kinds of places. All kinds of weather conditions. All kinds of types of alcohol were consumed.
And no. Didn't sleep well at all.
-
No. The audio clips for example can only be unlocked after completing the associated challenges.
-
Jack Burton (as I mentioned previously) and Mulder & Scully.
-
I used to go and get all the Killers prestiges...but now with Survivors, I didn't bother. The grind is too tiresome.
-
Used to favour Killer, but it's far less stressful as Survivor.
-
I like the feeling of utter loneliness. If there are bodies in maps, I would rather they look long-dead like in Gideon rather than fresh like in Hawkins (although it does add to the authenticity of the Hawkins in the tv show).
-
Zed from Police Academy.
-
Yep. We need The Thing chapter.
-
Finished it about half an hour ago. All challenges.
