Yeah I believe PS4 seems to have the lion's share of trophy issues for some reason. It doesn't help that PS4 doesn't have a trophy tracking system.

I don't understand what you mean by that first statement, but yeah they altered the achievement a bit because of Legions update... but it still doesn't make up for how the description was completely wrong...
That's why it took so long for anyone to get the achievement, because nobody knew what the issue was and just wrote it off as the achievement being bugged... but in reality the achievements description was just wrong...
That's how I was the first (or one of the first) to get the achievement! 0.01% ftw!

I'm not sure why... some of them even had descriptions that were COMPLETELY WRONG! "Cough Deranged Pursuit Cough"
I kind of find that odd how this isn't really being fixed, I mean its not a massive priority so I can see why it never really gets handled until after a bit of time (Of if enough people talk about it or a post gets popular enough to get the devs attention.)
Ok. It's PS4 that has major issues with healing trophies.
Deranged Pursuit got altered back with the May 7th update due to Legion's tweak, but obviously the achievement descriptions cannot be amended.

To get the Wounded Healer trophy, you need to heal Survivors that're injured or dying while you yourself are injured when healing them. The way the perk is supposed to work is that you'll heal people into each different "tier" or state... like for example healing a dying person to injured, than healthy, or just healing a injured Survivor to healthy would reward you with points towards the achievement.
No, it doesn't work off of 0% to 100% or anything like that, you can heal someone who's at 99% and it'll count towards you healing them fully, but the problem with the achievement is that it's heavily bugged and most of the time will not count your progress... It also seems to count your progress but display an inaccurate number to reflect your current score...
So it's honestly unknown how far you're with that achievement and other achievements that revolve around healing... mainly because things that revolve around healing like dailies, those achievements, etc... seemed to be bugged and don't actually keep score towards your daily or achievement... In the case of the daily, no it doesn't, but in the case of the achievement it's inaccurate and mostly ignores most of what you've done in a game.
Your best bet is to get lucky and face a Legion, they'll constantly be damaging Survivors and you'll easily be able to heal everyone with perks that increase your healing speed and med-kits with great add-ons that increase your charges and even healing speed!
You should also invest in No Mither (I know, its crazy to actually recommend this perk to someone lmao...) but having No Mither will constantly keep your injured, so you'll be able to get the perk done without fear of accidentally healing to full and missing out on a heal...
The game is constantly moving when you're in a trial, so being injured all the time is the best way to always know you're working towards the progress... when it wants to count it of course.

ALSO, you shouldn't be discouraged when someone else is helping you heal an injured Survivor that also counts towards your score. (When it wants to count your points of course... since it's bugged and doesn't work properly)

But besides that... unless you're 100 percenting your entire achievement list like i'm about to with the last achievement I need... than it isn't worth bothering with this achievement unless you REALLY want to get that sweet 100% completion like i'm going for.

BHVR were 100% right to postpone the event if indeed there were bugs which were going to disrupt the event.
Being the massive mug that I am, I yesterday paid £85 (around $109) for the WWE 2K20 deluxe edition. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE GLITCHFEST. I am talking near on unplayable. Continually crashes. It should not of been released in this state. I have never seen anything quite like it.
So in regards to the mechanics of the Archives or the Withering Blight event, if there was an issue which could be problematic and spoil players enjoyment, developers have a duty to remedy these errors best they can.
It is annoying. It is disappointing. But I would personally be far more irritated if the devs released a mode/event that had major bugs.

The achievement is broken. It has been since the May 7th update. We're still awaiting an solution to this. The Medic trophy is bugged too.
Basically I would forget grinding for the trophy until we get a fix.

Although as a killer I do find clicky flashers annoying.

I feel sorry for folks that took time off specifically for this event.
It's also half term here in the England, so a lot of older students were no doubt hoping to grind with the event.
But I think everyone would genuinely be more annoyed and disappointed if their event progress got corrupted and lost after days of grinding. Delays suck but we are still getting an event.

Mid 2017: Always been a massive horror film fan but there always seemed to be a lack of decent licensed games. Got Friday 13th near enough on release. Superb game. Then heard Michael Myers was coming to Dead By Daylight on the PC. Brought it on PS4 soon afterwards and have been pretty addicted ever since.

We haven't shared a date yet for the Mid-chapter update but the event was announced for the 22nd so we had to announce the delay today. We ran into a few issues which forced us to delay the release of the event to the Mid-chapter release. (ETA still unannounced)
Ok that's cool. Would much rather have a working event than have a cluster with players losing event progress etc.

Except you don't win any cash prizes in Dead by Daylight, there is no reward or incentive to rank higher and higher in this game.
If anything, staying in the middle is where you'll find the most fun as a player. And that's where the game feels the most rewarding. You beat the other side with your skil.
I refuse to believe this game is as competitive as some people make it out to be, because a competitive game wouldn't have addons that can completely change the tide of the game on both sides.
No DBD doesn't have cash prizes but if other games are rewarding their players with life-changing amounts of money, some individuals' competitive attitudes can be turned up full volume for all games.

Unfortunately it's the nature of modern gaming to be overly competitive.
With kids winning millions of dollars playing Fortnite, the incentive couldn't be higher.
I agree though. I would love for people to just to take a step back and play for the fun of it.

Repositioning his portals wouldn't fix his core issues though. It's not any worse than Trapper, you'll have games where you place a trap down and it never gets used. You just play without it because it would waste too much time to go change the trap/portal location. Demo suffers from the same issue as all setup killers in that you have to be able to get early pressure in order to win. Repositioning portals is just a QOL change.
Thing is I think Demogorgon is a strong killer. Good map pressure and a handy secondary attack. I personally don't feel he needs buffing, just the ability to break his own portals.

The Hillbilly's outfits are cack.
There are some nice parts eg the roast cow's leg, the tapped rifle and the dead rabbit belt...but the heads are just trash. They look more comedy than horror. Facial hair doesn't suit him. It could work with Trapper but it looks silly on 'billy.

At the moment, if the Demogorgon places all his portals down, he cannot get a new one until a survivor/s dismantles one. As the match progresses certain portal placements can become invalid eg when a gen is completed, when the hex totem is cleansed etc. The player may not want to 'guard' those areas and may wish to place a new portal. He could move them to cover the exit gates when all the gens are complete, for example.
