I'm not necessarily sure that's not what was intended I believe that alot of those playing Deathslinger were not using the perks that would benefit him so they changed him so that you would have to. I think that the devs hate useless perks and will ultimately remove them if they are not forced to be used. So my notion is that they are basically forcing you to use those things to help in other aspects to make up for the pov and ADS tho it still could be an unknown bug or possibly a setting messed up on some people computer or console. But to flat out say Deathslinger sucks when I have whiteness so many not sucking seems kinda like he is the one sucking.
Well, can't talk about him, maybe he does suck.
My point is that Deathslinger doesn't really suck as a killer, he is still better than some weaker killers like Clown, Legion, Myers, Freddie etc., but he sucks to play as, even Freddie is more fun to play now and that used to be most boring killer to me.
Build that is good for him:
STBFL can help a lot, so you have faster time to down
Pop / corrupt to slowdown the game, because he has bad 1v4
Some info perk, so BBQ is good enough
As last perk I would use something to get undetectable, or oblivious. Best I have found was Hysteria, Plaything and Tinkerer.
But even with those perks, he gets better in terms of power-level, but playing as him will still suck, because how it feels.
Hysteria + Nurse's calling could be quite good imo...

"Not one survivor got a buff." You mean besides the new survivor with broken boon totems?
Also survivors don't need a buff. They're the most powerful side of this game by a mile.
"They're the most powerful side of this game by a mile."
I don't think you can use it for everyone.
Low MMR - Killer sided
Medium MMR - game is actually quite balanced for most killers here
High MMR - survivor sided
Even High MMR is not that survivor sided, if you use 1 of 5 best killers.
Even with best killers, it is survivor sided, but only like tournament level, which I really wouldn't count to be honest. Tournament players, don't play against random killers, because it is boring. When they do on stream, they don't really try to destroy the killer, which is nice too see, so everyone can have fun.

If you're maybe Nurse / spirit / blight Maybe,
Not any other killer can compete Against a good Deathsquad my guy...
You can get away with Oni too, if you use best perks tho, so you can snowball and gain your power.
With Hag too, most dead squads are still not prepared to have one guy to harass you all the time, it happened to me only once, but yeah, then you are #########.
Plague might be viable after buffs too, we will see.
I am going to play her a lot, when I can't enjoy Deathslinger, they will not enjoy Circle of Healing.

The ADS can be changed in settings pov sounds like a bug maybe. But the reason the one guy was saying he was bad was because he didn't want to try a different build. Pov could also mean that there is something wrong with camera settings. I keep getting messages from the one guy so I might of responded with the wrong message a few times. I apologize for that.
Your overall sensitivity can be changed, but I am not aware that you could change only for his ADS, that is same for everyone.
His POV sucks not because of bug, but because unlike other killers that keep they normal POV while using their power, Deathslinger changes his POV like he is aiming with his gun, so it gets lowered and you don't really see anything around you.
This was always same, but noone did it before, because quick-scope was a thing. That's not possible and you are forced to deal with it.
Again, I don't care how good the killer is. My main factor to play = as that killer fun? And I don't know about you, but Deathslinger is not.
Pig and Trapper are one of the worst killers, but Pig is fun just for memes and Trapper is just super satisfying when your trap works.
Well, Trapper might not be worst killer anymore, but hard to tell.
Deathslinger will not be nowhere near close for title "worst killer", he got lower maybe like C tier for me (which is still not that bad), but he won title "least fun killer to play" for me. Which is bigger deal to me.

Those things can be changed and altered with add ons! They are forcing you to choose between add ons to make the character more balanced! NOT NERFED! He is 100% wrong the fact is that he doesn't want to use add ons or perks to help those things he wants to use add ons and perks that make it easier to find survivors or give him bonuses like speed or reload speed. You have to choose, its called balancing.
Alright tell me what to use that will fix my issues with him:
ADS sensitivity and POV
Long ADS with his power limitations

Yeah, my tactic is not playing him, so his pick rate gets to ######### and when I am forced to play challenge with him, I will just do it asap and then go afk.

Yes I do realize this but it's not the reason I posted that! If you think that perks and add ons don't matter then why use them? The fact is that this guy is saying Deathslinger is bad because he choose not to use other add ons or other perks. In reality he is simply mad that he can't breeze through things like he used to the way he use to. He now must learn his character again and try new things to get the desired results. But instead of doing that he is just crying about how Deathslinger sucks.
He sucks, because his base-kit sucks. How do you wanna fix his terrible ADS sensitivity and POV, his power limitations with perks and add-ons?
Some things are beyond help, unless you wanna give him add-on that will let him quick-scope again. You don't have that.

I've played every killer at some point whether it was because I liked them or just wanted to try or for points. DS is one I like to play so yes i've played new and old slinger. He's fine you're just not being carried but a stupidly small terror radius so you have to actually hit your shots now instead of getting cheesy quick scopes that are near impossible to dodge with no warning. Also tiers for killers DO NOT matter. People can 4k with every killer when they get the right set of perks that fit their playstyle. So him not being above B tier means absolutely nothing. Survivor perks like pebble are never going to be above B tier either but people still like using it. Tiers mean nothing and since you talk about caring about how it feels you must also now how ######### it feels to get quick scoped when you had no chance of countering it or getting snuck up on by a slinger using monitor. So with that in mind Nerf def justified
I have never had an issue playing against Deathslinger. He was quite easy to win against. Just hold W and predict when he is going to shoot.
Well, you don't need to predict now, you can just react.
Tiers matter, if you try to get good at the game, or just play against good survivors, if you have ever seen pebble, then you are not there. So yeah, you can get away with playing whatever you want.
Again I don't care about his power-level, I play lot of FPS games and I am good at them, so he was interesting to me, only because of quick-scope.
TR change didn't matter to me, that change only how survivors feel to play against him, didn't affect my side. But after quick-scope nerf, there is no reason for me to play him.
I have over 200 hours, just on deathslinger and it is wasted now.
There is no reason for Deathslinger to have longer ADS like other killers, when he has limitation that other killers don't. He get more punished for single miss, he can't down over most pallets / far windows, he has limited range, he has tiny hitbox that is easy to dodge and his ADS sensitivity + POV just sucks, so he can't even flick. Btw he also has longer time to down on avarage than Trickster / Huntress.
His argument, they just don't wanna work and look at me I play Pig, so I am right - is just funny. Pig is fun to play, Deathslinger is not anymore, that's a big difference.

That is all these forums are. Bunch of killers whining and moaning they can't kill 80% of the time. Then you get the really trash survivors coming in being like nerf trapper nerf hag or some other def not op thing they can't counter. I hate the clown and they usually kill me everytime but he's not op. Just annoying
You didn't play old Deathslinger, you didn't play new Deathslinger, so what about you try to play him and then talk about others overreacting?
I am not suprised. I am used to games that cares about bad players and nerf things "because it's annoying" even tho it was never really good.
Deathslinger new got above B tier as killer, right now he is maybe C in terms of power-level, but he feels really bad to play as, which is bigger issue for me.
You are connecting wrong things. We don't care about killing here, we care that it feels like ######### to play him. How you don't understand that those are completely different things? Well, survivor main syndrom I guess....

Lmao you don't use that so he must be a bad character! Lmao I'm dying! You are bad at Deathslinger because you can't or won't use other perks or add ons! Not Deathslinger but you! Lmao
When base-kit is main issue everyone has with Deathslinger, then it doesn't matter what add-ons he has.
He was always worse Huntress, but after those nerfs, he is way worse Huntress that even feels bad to play as.
Because of longer ADS, I get same feeling as Huntress with Wind-up time addons. Problem is that unlike Huntress, Deathslinger has several limitations. He gets more punished for single miss, he can't down over pallet / far window, he has limited range, he has super tiny hitbox that is easy to dodge and his ADS sensitivity + POV just sucks, so he can't even flick.
ADS sensitivity + POV were always bad, but noone did it, because of quick-scope, so it wasn't an issue before.
Deathslinger was played by FPS players a lot, because they could use skills they already had, but that's not a thing anymore after quick-scope nerf.
Quick-scope was only thing he was better at than Trickster / Huntress, so right now, there is just no reason to play him, unless you enjoy looking at old guy with [BAD WORD] up leg, but no kink shaming.
Zoning is same as Huntress, you just hold your power, but I don't know about you, it's way easier with Huntress, because of that POV that Deathslinger gets.
You have clearly never played old, nor new Deathslinger, so why do you bother trying to act like you know what you are talking about?

Well, reacting to ADS means you are also reacting to his fake. I was not debating that, but here some seriously claim, you can react to the actual shot.
You can with Dead Hard. Well, I am used to play with <30ms.
I just played 5 game on him and I am done with him.
He feels worse to play than Huntress and he is worse as a killer than Huntress.
I don't care about how good he is, change his TR, nerf fake ADS, nerf addons, I couldn't care less, but they had to nerf quick-scope. Only thing he was better compare to other ranges killers and he feels like ######### now, because of that.
So he has long ADS, but he has limitations that other ranged killers don't and has tiny hitbox. His POV and sensitivity in ADS is just terrible. It wasn't really known before, because everyone quick-scope, so it didn't matter.
If you try to tell me that 400 ms is not big nerf, then I guess you have never played FPS games. Even ######### 60 ms matters for guns. Deathslinger was played mainly by FPS games players, because he has a ######### gun, which can quick-scope. Well, he had....
That's why I started playing him, I have probably over 200 hours just on him and it's just wasted now. Time to learn Trickster I guess. SMG still works...

I explained above, why it is impossible to react to his shot. On max range, it might be if the server is good (which we all know is not the case), your ping is great and you have decent reaction time. On 20 meters, it is impossible.
And 10 meters?
You have 250 milliseconds between shot fired and hit. The reaction and movement time alone is not even enough (even for the fastest human on earth) to doge that. Now take into consideration the massiv delay we have on our servers. Compare POV from survivor and killer and you will see that there is a big difference from the action the killer takes to what the survivor sees. The delay alone makes it already impossible to dodge the 10 meter shot.
I am not saying you will react to the shot, but you can react to ADS easily and Deathslinger can't flick because of his lower sensitivity while ASD and weird POV.
He can't get away with just shooting, he has to hold ADS, which looks like #########.
-
@xEa said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2572220#Comment_2572220
It is totally irrelevant how quick the Slinger is with shooting since you have no idea if he is actually shooting until you see the projectile or hear the little delayed BANG. He could just fake it or not. If you react to his fake, this is not reacting to his shot. And reacting to the shot is the millisecond AFTER he actually fired the shot.
Therefore, how is this relevant if he takes 200 millisecond to shoot? It also takes 200 millisecond to fake.
You can easily react to it on 10+ meters and dodge it, because it is not like Huntress car projectile, it's super small.
Better players have reaction time around 300 ms, pro players can get around 120-150. This is 400ms + travel distance.
What that means? He can't just shoot survivors looking behind. Survivors don't need to predict really when he shoots, they only need to predict if he is going to, so it's 50/50, where Deathslinger is punished hard, if he gets it wrong.
He is forced to zone with walking ADS while you dance for him. So much fun...
-
@Regulus47 said:
Death slinger will never be weak as long as he can instantly shoot and he can still shoot pretty much instantly. Who cares if the addons got nerfed he still has the exposed one and the reload ones, killers are just overreacting. It might be a buff now that he walks faster

It's clear you have never played old, nor new Deathslinger. So yeah, your opinion is just not valid without experience.

In what way is me playing a game destroying the environment? If that was true then video games most likely would’ve gotten cancelled a long time ago, probably in the 1980s when gaming was starting to pop off.
Your PC doesn't take energy?
Servers that you play on doesn't take energy?
Does it create anything productive?
No, you just buy digital content, that you don't really own, just like NFT.
Difference is method of payment, crypto vs banks.
So if people cried about crypto I am fine, but not really NFT.

You've been corrected, my fellow kid :P
There's a carbon cost tied to the history of any blockchain transaction, which adds up, and an individual miner can outpace the negative output of a small country. The wallets people keep the datachains in also have continual costs to keep running.
"Transaction as a simple action" is an overtly dishonest take on this.
I just like to have correct terms.
Bitcoin transaction doesn't take more energy than Visa.

You clearly don't understand crypto currency at all, when a transaction is made, thousands upon thousands of computers are used to "mine" and verify the transaction, if you're going to argue for something you could at least know the first thing about it.
And yes, steam is similar etc, but I'm not using bitcoins that hundreds of thousands of machines around the world used to generate 0.0000000000000000001 cent for me to spend, it's so embarrassing seeing people defend bhvr on something they know absolutely nothing about.
PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF
"As of mid-July, a single bitcoin transaction required 1719.51 kilowatt hours (kWh) - where a kWh is the amount of energy a 1,000-watt appliance uses in over an hour. To put that in perspective, that is about 59 days’ worth of power consumed by an average U.S. household."
Are you sure I am the one who doesn't understand?
You are mixing terms mine with transaction.
It does take ######### tons of energy to mine bitcoin, but transaction is just peer to peer with blockchain.
-
"It does so by estimating how much income miners possibly spend on electricity"
I don't know about you, but what they are talking about is not transaction as an simple action.
They just add how much it took, to get that bitcoin with mining.
So yeah, bitcoin takes ######### tons of energy to get, but not really transfer.
But feel free to correct me, I am just old kid that is trying to understand the ######### storm around here :)

I don't know, man.
I mean it's kinda hard to side with a business known for being full of scams (Any Alt Coin ever), stolen assets and art (NFTs), and literal criminal activities (Coffeezilla and SOG has an amazing ongoing series about literally this right now.)
It's pretty hard not to take a moral stance against this type of crap, but hey..
What can I say?
I'm just a human being whose morals aren't based on what is or isn't "law" but what I think is right or wrong. And I'm pretty damn sure that not trying to support a company supporting these practices in their market makes me a pretty good person even if my role in this is to inform and educate others.
I can take argument about stolen assets and art, but we had that before with Fortnite and I don't remember anything was done about it.
But arguments about necessity, environment etc. are just hypocrisy to me.

Sending one bit coin payment is the equivalent of 1.9million separate visa transactions
People aren't hypocrites, they're using the easiest the least impactful thing possible to send money around the world, crypto currencies are ridiculously inefficient, especially for something like NFTs which doesn't actually mean you own something, it's just an online receipt to say you own a copy of the thing, it's ridiculous.
And where did you take that BS number?
It doesn't make sense. Bit coin transfer is peer to peer.
"online receipt to say you own a copy of the thing"
Oh, right. Like game accounts and skins etc., where you don't really own it on most systems, League of legends for example, where selling your account is illegal practice. You just got access to it, but don't own it.
Steam is little different, you can trade content (skins etc.), but you can't get your money actually back, you can only trade for different things.

I mean killers who use camping as main strat. For me there's huge difference between 2 hook play and 8+. First is boring for both sides but there are people who are perfectly fine cause kills only matter.
Yeah, some said that it would be nice, if MMR cared about hooks. It would have both good and bad effects.
Good, is that even tho you didn't kill anyone, I would see 8 hook and maybe 1-2 kills is damn good game for the killer and that killer would be rewarded for it.
Problem is that campers would lose MMR and that would result in worse survivors, that would just keep getting destroyed more and that killer would just never have reason to get better in chases and improve overall.
It might be fixed with hook stages instead of just hooks. So even if you camp someone you get 3 stages, but you would get rewarded for you extra hooks even if it didn't result in kill.
But I think killer MMR system works fine now, I have issues with survivor MMR more.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but majority doesn't care about MMR while they can talk about it whole day and pretend they are best out of best players in the world and know everything. Killers want kills at all cost and if they need to make it boring as hell, they do it.
There are so many players who think hooks are irrelevant and only kills matter that makes me think there's something wrong with players.
Well, some don't care about any of those, I just don't want game to take 5 minutes and I want to have fun.
That is different when I am grinding for max grade tho, there I care about hooks, because I have to for pips...
I have seen posts, where they wanted to "punish" campers by making them "lose" the game.
Camping is not good for some killers and there are times where camping is best thing killer can do.
Like when I managed to get 3-gen and hook inside, why the hell would I leave?
Of course face camping on 5 gens suck, but it's quite rare at least for me.
-
It depends on killer.
Camping Wraith? Noone cares.
Camping bubba? Houston, we have a problem.
Then just combine it with NOED for easy MMR, but let's be honest.
This work only when you manage to get down fast enough, if they finished 3 gens before your first down, because survivor played save, you are ######### and camping will not save you. This will become issue higher you go with MMR, so it will stop working that well.
I don't understand players that would want them to lose MMR for it, it would actually help those killers and camping would work more and more for them...

Gen rushing is a result of poor time management by the killer and if they cannot build pressure then the survivors played better. It's really as simple as that in most cases. Like I already stated killers change the flow of the chase and can lock down gens to be more advantageous to what they want. The neglect of doing so is what makes killers lose. Yet again, denial of responsibility for the killer role.
There are very few things that you can use to "rush gens". There's prove thyself and toolboxes but that's it. Anything else is the killer not taking charge of their objective and being punished for doing so.
When each survivor spawn on different gen from start of the game, they weren't better, they were lucky.
If they used toolboxes and map offerings, they weren't better, they just used stronger options.
This has nothing to do with skill.

Boon totems ruined?
Did I miss something? Those nerfs didn't do anything for normal SWF really... Unless there is something new.
It's funny you think BBQ is good perk. Without that BP part, you would have like 6 killers using it, so that effect promotes to not camp the hook and hunt survivor you see in distance. How can survivors be unhappy about that?
Ruin again, like what is issue? There people that still think hexes are OP? Just learn totem spawns and cleanse it...
I don't know about you, but I am way more happy with survivor perks overall and you have a lot of builds you create and they will work. I can't say that about killers. You have usually like 2 good builds, rest is handicap.
Btw if this game was actually balanced around top MMR, then Undying would still be a thing. Deathslinger, Wraith would not get nerfed, It was nerfed, because of players like you.
Refuse to learn and rather complain.
I don't know how anyone come up with it's hard to create dead squad... It's quite easy, you don't need god loopers to destroy 90% killers. Just learn basic rules of what to do and not to do and then hold m1 on gens.
-
If I remember correctly, then balance landing used to have it like passive that worked even exhausted, didn't it?
Well, main issue was that players were using it with Dead Hard and it worked. Also Haddonfield was even bigger pain. That's why this change would do.
Like only way I can think of is some difficult skill check, but if you fail you get slowed. Problem is that this would need to be perk too, I really wouldn't want to play with this as base-kit.
Like after you land you get skill check and get either Haste or Hindered. Problem I see with this perk is that noone would use it normally, it would perk to abuse with map offering, yeah back to Hadodnfield.

I use STBFL too, that's why I don't feel comfortable with this particular buff. Pair the current cooldown it with the cigar and the chewing tobacco and you got 10 STBFL stacks for free with the first hit. It's just not ok, and feels like they addressed him completely wrong.
Well, alternative from them is nothing as buff...
I am glad they gave him at least something in return, even tho it's not enough and it will still kill him.

You can still fake ADS, I just told you they buffed it by making you faster while aiming. If they wanted to address it, they would have kept the quickscope and added an slowdown after aiming.
As a deathslinger you are supposed to know when and when not to use your power, yes, sometimes you get screwed by ping, but if you land a shot and the survivor manages to find a way to avoid getting hit (be it by throwing a pallet early or getting stuck on an structure), it's on you. If you land a shot and want to eat the the cooldown for whatever reason, it's really up to you.
"Buff movement speed ADS -> bad"
I said it was bad idea to do that. You don't cancel ADS, you walk while ADS, which I think is actually stronger. But still super boring.
"Find a way", like predrop pallets, oh so hard. I don't know about you, but I use chain break quite a lot, so I like that change. Mainly because I use STBFL.

So I love changes they are doing in new patch, which tells me they are able to do some good changes. I didn't bother doing it even tho I like to do theory crafting a lot, because I didn't have any hope it would be used. I still don't have much, but at least a little chance is there now...
So first perks that I consider good enough:
Not all of them are really meta, but there are killers / tactics that benefit from those perks, or they just fun to use.
A Nurse's Calling, Bamboozle, Barbecue & Chilli, Bitter Murmur, Blood Warden, Corrupt Intervention, Dark Devotion, Deadlock, Deerstalker, Discordance, Enduring, Eruption, Fearmonger, Franklin's Demise, Hex: Blood Favour, Hex: Crowd Control, Hex: Devour Hope, Hex: Haunted Ground, Hex: Huntress Lullaby, Hex: No One Escapes Death, Hex: Plaything, Hex: Retribution, Hex: Ruin, Hex: The Third Seal, Hex: Undying, Hoarder, Hysteria, I'm All Ears, Infectious Fright, Iron Grasp, Iron Maiden, Knock Out, Lethal Pursuer, Lightborn, Mad Grit, Make Your Choice, Monitor & Abuse, Nemesis, No Way Out, Play with Your Food, Pop Goes the Weasel, Rancor, Save the Best for Last, Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain, Shadowborn, Sloppy Butcher, Spirit Fury, Starstruck, Thanatophobia, Thrilling Tremors, Tinkerer, Unnerving Presence, Whispers, Zanshin Tactics
Perks with minor changes:
Some perks are decent, but just don't have good enough numbers / effects to compete with other perks.
You also pick up survivors 10% faster.
It's not really bad perk, but it needs something more, I would give this same treatment as they tried for Fearmonger. I would nerf duration to 30 seconds, cool-down is fine, but also give all other survivors Oblivious.
Alternative is just let current effects work on each survivor, not just injured.
It's nice to use on some killers, but buff to number would be nice, maybe up to 30%.
This will not be fixed just by a number, it needs something more. Either give it also an effect of bigger TR, let's say + 10 meters, or let it work also on downed survivors for slugging builds. I would rather go TR way.
It's fun perk, but the way how you get tokens is not good. There is that problem that you often play without Lunge unless you want to waste it, which is huge downside. I would give it token for each hooked survivor. It would need some testing, we might want to make it for each non-sacrifice hook, so it promotes more friendly game-play.
It's really bad perk and need bigger buff than just numbers. Make it block also pallets, there is limited amount of uses, so we should make it worth it. It might be also fun to change location from gen to killer.
I would try to make it work just whenever you hook a survivor. That effect is not strong enough for it to be obsession only.
I like an idea, but there are ways to play around this perk. I would change it that whenever any survivor gets healed (even self-care) at least 32 meters away from you, that survivor will scream and get Oblivious for 40 seconds.
This would need some testing, because it might be too strong on some fast killers, because survivors just would not be able to recover. So there might be cool-down needed, maybe also 40 seconds.
It is kinda meme perk and I would just push it even more. Let's make it 50%. It would buff other perks that might need to get little better as Unnerving Presence for example. It would be just fun to have version of Lullaby on each killer, so it would be harder to predict that killer is going for you.
I would make it work kinda like Blast Mine, where you don't get cool-down, if noone touched that gen.
I am going to use it many times more, but I really like system of BBQ / No way out, just because it is more healthy for the game. I would change it that you get token for each unique hooked survivor. Rest stay same overall penalty for non-obsession and unhooking + healing penalty for obsession, but numbers would change into 6% per token.
I would like to see better numbers, but then it might be kinda broken with Brutal Strenght. What about remove breaking pallets effect and increase it to like 6%?
Change it from obsession to unique survivor again. Max stacks was 4 already, so rest can be same. It might be fun to use.
It could be interesting info perk, but it is just bad now. It might be interesting to change activation, so even special attacks work and you would see highlighted all gens with any progress for 10 seconds. Even gens with like 1%, where noone actually is.
What about kinda reversed BBQ? While carrying a survivor you will see all other Survivors' Auras when they are inside your TR. Cool-down 30 seconds.
Make it work on special attacks too. When it is free for all, it should actually work for all.
Cool-down is way too high, I would get it down to 40 seconds. It would still not be meta, but it would be interesting to use. You still need gen with progress to activate it, so it's not like you would be able to actually use it every 40 seconds, but I would like to have an option.
This is just bad compare to Eruption and even current Oppression. I would keep current effect and add faster passive regression, maybe like 200% (Ruin).
I would make it global, so it actually works on any item. Because let's be honest, only item that is affected now is Flashlight.
Otz had evil idea that whenever you are in TR, your item would be passively losing charges.
Add highlight of blood, like Victor has. It might be kinda noob-friendly perk that needs to help with tracking.
Just make it work on everybody. You can gain totems still just from Obsession, but it should apply to every survivor.
Just remove cool-down. I would also add effect, that you will not disturb crows.
Don't highlight gen, if it regressed to 0, that is really annoying. Highligh only if survivor stopped regression.
My problem with this perk is, that some maps have just bad basement that are hard to get into anyway, or they are in middle of the map, where is problem with that range.
I would make survivors that enter your basement also oblivious no matter your range from basement, so you have better chance to some value from it. I was thinking also about exposed instead, but that might too good for camping builds.
You will lose undetectable only if survivor actually starts working on that gen or you damage survivor.
Beyond saving perk reworks:
Some perks are just so bad, there is no way to save them with numbers, but I will always try to keep theme of the perk.
I would want to stay with Undetectable theme, but activation for Bloodllust is just super bad, so we need different Trigger. There are two options I can think of. Either whenever you lose a chase, or whenever you injure a survivor by any means. This would make it really good perk for Hit&Run tactic.
This perk is tournament only right now. Broken status kinda force you to tunnel first survivor even more, which is just bad. I would like too keep protective hit as trigger, but change effect. Again two options: 10% Hindered would be good, if you wanna protect, so you will go down for it. Alternative is 10% Healing and Repairing Action Speed penalty until he gets downed, but that again would make you commit and tunnel first survivor, so I think Hindered would be way better.
This is kinda bubba only perk for camping, which is just not fun, nor good. I think interesting idea is:
14 seconds Undetectable status effect on the start of the game and after each hook. That would allow some interesting perk synergies with Lethal Pursuer and BBQ.
We would definetly want to bring Scourge hook system for it, but I don't think Hook Progression is healthy for the game. So I would try several things for it. Mainly +2 extra hooks, if combined with other Scourge hook perks.
Then as for actual effect, I can see two options: Survivors are unable to self-unhook and unhooking speed is 30% slower, or make it same system as Gift of Pain -> survivor gets oblivious status effect, which is removed upon healing, but gets blidness until they are injured again.
This is just useless perk after nerf imo. I would want to keep it sound related, but change it on the sound of survivor's footsteps, so it might be easier to track survivors behind a wall. Not sure if good enough, but better than nothing. Maybe try both effects?
I would like to make it work like STBFL, but for missed basic attacks, so you would be able to get it into way higher numbers than current Unrelenting, maybe up to 60%, but you need to earn it. We can do it based on 6 stacks max.
I have done killers.

which good changes did deathslinger get? They are all super unhealthy for the gameplay.
- Less cooldown means you are punished less for failing, which just should not happen.
- Hellshire iron is still pretty useless (I would argue even more useless than before), while Iri Coin just went from good to borderline overpowered
- Zoning will still be a thing. Not only did they address it in an extremely mediocre way, they made him fast so he will be losing basically no distance while zoning.
Overall these changes are really poorly executed and thought out, I pray they reconsider them.
Fake ADS -> good, it's cheap
Less chain break -> good
I don't understand why do you think it is failing, sometimes it's not in your control, of course you will shoot that survivor over pallet, that is not fail)
Buff movement speed ADS -> bad, it just bring zoning again
quick-scope nerf -> bad, it will only force Deathslinger to abuse zoning more than before and takes only good thing about him
bigger TR -> I don't care, you can fix it with perks.

hmm. I guess so. there really is no in-between. I mean the thing that makes me want them to remove it is that its unrealistic and some angles you can save at are utterly ridiculous
Main difference between dbd and other asymmetrical horror games is that in dbd you can't really attack a killer. So experience is way better for new killers and they are most likely to keep playing. You really don't wanna change that.
Flashlights can be countered, just look into the wall. Against this, even with 1 use, you will have to down 3-4 survivors before you will actually be able to hook anyone. That is not good experience.

holy crap I never thought of tasers like that. #########. that slipped across my mind. yeah I guess you could make it so the item isn't affected by BTL as its electrical and its only source of getting charges back is 10 per gen done then you have about 90 charges 9 killer stuns per killer which is 36 per match, and the stun is 4 secs and 36x4=144 seconds and the fixed charges is 10 and cant be influenced. but I am not entirely sure, though I never took streetwise and BTL into account
You don't think 144 seconds stun is still broken?
DS is to be 16 seconds with limited condition to use and that is ######### perk.
You gave this way more than that and they can use it whenever they want.
Thing is, you wanted it instead of save with flashlight. With flashlight you need to time it really well. This? Just walk towards a killer na stun him any time you want and killer can't do a ######### about it
Even if it was 2 second stun with 1 use, it would be super hated.

The game has boldness/altruism etc emblems for a reason, survivors are supposed to have a chance to get them all. If they aren’t, why have the emblem system?
If killers played normally instead of camping, maybe they’d learn how to make a comeback? You aren’t even going to get back standing at the hook, you may as well just give up a killer if you need to do this every match.
I have made a lot of comebacks from one camping trip. So that's not really true. There is not many survivors that will just keep him there and work on gens.
Emblem system is not really good argument for balancing. Noone ever said it's good system.
You have Unbroken, which basically says that if someone died and you have it iri, then you are ######### teammate and you let him die. That emblem promotes selfish players.
In red ranks, when you have bad killer -> you depip.
You are forced to babysitting other side, if you want pips.
That system is just bad.
With SBMM you can play at least however you want.

Not really abuse, camping killers are abusing the mechanics of the game right now to do it. This would make it a 50/50 and encourage killers to actually play the game.
What if that killer didn't camp, but survivors brought him there?
They do play a game, you just don't like how...
