I own Deathgarden and I got it as soon as it was announced, so I have no way of knowing if every PC player has the masks now because I got them during the crossover event.
Anyone on PC who doesn’t own Deathgarden, can you confirm if the masks are available to everyone?
No, they are a deathgarden exclusive

I played 1 month with spine chill, and I realize after 1 month that spine chill is bad.
It doesn't fit with my gameplay, and is a perk for blind people (lol)
Once you have some good hours on the game you can use your ears and eyes to predict where the killer is coming from, is just a waste slot for me.
Still, see some people saying "spine chill is S tier" lmao.
Yeah, spine chill is not that great

I actually looped a Freddy so hard on a Z Wall at Gas Heaven he left me even though I was injured, we had 3 gens up, and all Survivors were on death hook. Shoot I think I looped a Wraith pretty hard on a Z wall recently too lol!
Yeah I doubt that

What do you think about pinky finger basekit? I've heard it suggested a couple times it's probably not a good idea though.
A very stupid idea. Since I got used to the timing of the bottles tosses are very easy, so when I use a pinky finger it is just like m1 people. I think they are unfair, so I have 37 laying around
-
I have over 600 hours on Clown.
In my opinion, while this is a creative rework, it is not very doable neither very effective. I think the Clown needs a mechanic just like they gave Freddy, something that allowed him to pressure the map and end chases quicker. A rework for me, for starters would be to simply get rid of the penalty he gets when he throws a bottle, both speed wise and the 1 second action cooldown. Also, I think the Intoxicated effect should prevent fast vaults, and hinder more its target. Freddy's snares for example have bigger duration and penalty than Clown's bottle. Also, I think Clown should have more bottles (5 or 6) and get them back after hooking someone (just like Freddy is rewarded with a charged dream channel).
Now, for his ability to pressure more I dont have settled in any ideas, but my favorite one would be to introduce the "Show's Puppets". The shows puppets would sit on gens and when they reached certain percentage they would laugh like Clown and create notifications, as well as exploding the gen or just blocking it for x amount of time.

My favorite killer is trapper, he gives a lot more possibility of mind games, making the survivors think if there is a trap or not in that area making they chose another way.
Perk build that I recommend:
Hex: ruin: give u a bit more of time to place traps and think in a plan.
Overcharge: when they blow a gen they will leave the area and if there is a trap around they have a small chance of getting cought.
Monitor and abuse: if they can hear you what about know if you set a trap? Also it can be used to get closer without they know.
Barbecue and chili: extra blood points and if you see a survivor you can think a better way to slug or kill him taking him in to a trap
My favorite killer is the Clown. I dont really know, most of my games with him are terrible and I have to sweat a lot. I have 600 hours on him alone and Curtain Call was my first DLC, so I guess I just stayed with him. My favorite build is Brutal Strenght, Save the Best for Last, Pop and Ruin/Corrupt. I always run the thick cork stopper and either the sticky bottle or the starling feather

I feel the top 5 and bottom 4 are for the most part undeniable. This takes into account the possible builds you can do with each killer as well. In my opinion, Plague is underrated and Oni is complete garbage (the 2 I feel will cause the most controversy on this list). Feel free to give your thoughts and opinions below, but keep it friendly!
Note: from what I know about the upcoming Doctor changes, I'm guessing he will be bumped up to a C. I think the changes will buff him, but not by much.
Clown is the worst killer, doc is in his place and hag is a tier

Otz also happens to be an ASCENDED god at Trapper. Most players cannot do what he does, ergo, Trapper is lower.
But something I have noticed on people that play trapper is that they often dont dare as much as he does like, he gladly gives people 3 gens and unhooks to turn the game to his territory

Any player's opinion is welcome, no matter the platform!
I have put Trapper that low for 2 reasons.
1) His setup time. He takes way too long to gather his traps and place them. Even with Corrupt Intervention, a good team can get two gens done before he can get his traps down. If he started with all of them, he would be B tier EASILY.
2) There are no ads-ons involved with this list, if there were, even Doc would be in B tier. His traps are very bright and easy to see. Plus, he can only carry one by default.
I am not the best Trapper, but Otzdarva says the trapper is rewarded by gens popping and being territorial, so the 2 gens popping is not really an issue

I think it would be really cool if the entire map of Temple of Purgation is like the temple in the middle of the map. I think the temple inside looks pretty cool and if it was the entire map like that with crypts, tombs and chambers it would look really cool and add to the theme of the Plague more.
I believe the Clown map would be really cool if they extended the circus theme to the entire map with more things you would see in a circus. Add circus big tops etc. I just think it would make a little bit more diversity in the maps because I feel most maps look alike.
Yeah I agree, and Plague's map is really big so it is unbalanced

About the skill checks, disable vsync and the fps limiter. Ever since I did it, Ruin does not matter at all (It is very easy to land hex skill checks).
About tunneling and camping: DS and Dcs, honestly. If the persons camps you with 5 gens left I just go to the other match, but if it is like on the egc I use DS and hope my teammates have BT.
About moris, lobby dodge. Killers do it all the time against SWF.
And against hag, she is pretty good but is slow and you can avoid her traps. The new Oni is possibly one of the worst killers in game so just turn a corner and he can't get you (Yeah, thanks Devs)

So there is a trend lately that Self Care is overrated, and that you better off not use it, pro players / over 9000 IQ entitled survivors don't use it blah blah blah.
Let me tell you something.
Self care is NOT overrated. It is very useful, and very good perk to have. It is NOT a waste of time.
People saying things like - "Self-care is a waste of time you could have worked on a gen! You could use bond instead! Boo-hoo I lost cause 3 Blendettes were self caring while I died!" Are looking at things in a narrow-minded way.
As someone who plays a lot of killer AND a survivor, I can tell you that survivors running around injured are GREAT for me when I play a killer. Not only it's easier to track them while they are injured, especially when they don't run iron will, it also cuts chases IMMENSELY.
Running around injured makes stealth game THAT much better for the killer. On normal circumstances, when you are not injured, if you try stealth (which is basically a high risk high reward tactic, since you let the killer get close instead of keeping distance), you might get hit and then you get a chase in which you can stall the killer depends where you are, how good at looping you are, mind games, available pallets, etc.
If you are already injured - and your stealth game fails, you get hit and thats that!
Chasing an injured survivor, assuming you didn't try stealth, is also easier against injured survivors, as its harder for the survivor to lose you due to blood and sounds.
I would wager that "wasting" 32 seconds to get healed can prove very beneficial for the team. That healing state, could save your team 30-60 seconds FOR EACH SURVIVOR TEAMMATE the killer is chasing you, netting in a great advantage for your team, thanks to that "wasted" 32 seconds you gained another health state.
Now for bond - it is a pretty silly argument. Bond is a nice perk, I agree. But you waste time finding another survivor, and then 2 survivors get occupied for 16 seconds to heal you up. Instead, you could have had self care, and healed up in 32 seconds, while in those 32 seconds that other survivor would have been doing a gen. There is literally no advantage, healing wise and efficiently-wise, running bond over self care. Nevermind the time wasted finding a survivor and running around vulnerable.
Bottom Line & TL;DR:
People arguing Self Care is overrated are clueless and are total nabs & need to git gud at brains. Also they are sheeple 🐑.
And I'm saying that jokingly but also in all seriousness. 😤
Also makes me wonder why there is the eggplant smiley on the forums lol. 🤣🍆
Self Care is a terrible perk, and everything you said here is wrong. The chase arguement is dumb because in 32 seconds people can double heal and repair half a gen

I don’t understand why a killer can do a 180 lunge and get a down across a pallet while being stunned or hit me 5 feet past a window but I can’t run through a window if I come in at an angle. It’s a constant source of aggravation. I run to a window and basically crawl through it and the killer gets a grab or a down. Why is this necessary?
If I choose to hold down the run button near a window, why can’t I run through it quickly, no matter the angle or current speed. I can break into a run instantly so why can’t I run through a window instantly at any time?
because if the angle did not matter, a single vault would be an infinite

You played a great game so far. You helped multiple people off of hooks and even healed a few. You completed a generator by yourself and co-oped a few others. You even opened an exit gate. Then BAM! killer catches you. NOED is active, of course. Next thing you know, you're on a hook. But wait, this is your first time being on the hook all game, the gate is open, you have Deliverance! Redemption is one button away....
Nope, sorry, straight to "struggle" and you don't even get points for that, straight to the entity you go.. Because no one else is alive.
Does this make sense? End game collapse already shortened the heck out of the games, so it can't be for time savings. Why not give the last survivor a full chance like everyone else got?
I think you should be able to try and kobe, but not struggle

Again you're willfully ignoring the situation, that is players being able to genrush a generator before a killer can realistically get to/patrol said generator.
to which there is literally no counterplay, short of being omnipresent....
Ruin at best is a coinflip, it might work or it might be cleansed in the first 15 seconds of the game. Plus it's kinda wasted if you're not dealing with super sweaty players that are going to genrush you. I guess just always be ready to switch to it and pray if you see that toxic last second swap to toolboxes?
Pop is great but only IF the generator in questions wasn't finished before you where able to get there. But if you're dealing with genrushers it probably was.
But yeah just patrol the completed generators harder, maybe that'll work...
There is not a single situation in this game where you cant get to a gen before people finish it.

It's so loud you can barely hear anything else. When there is one survivor left and you're trying to listen for the hatch and/or the survivor, having that insanely loud whispering drowning everything else out is an insane detriment. Decisive Strike rework. I really thought about this for a while and with the help of feedback I decided to update the title of this as this isn't really a buff anymore but more of a rework.
This new Decisive Strike rework actually adds a new playing field into the way the perk works. Making it a very good perk if you play it right and it'll lessen the amount of killers waiting out the strike timer. Which is the most common problem amongst this perk and I have a very efficient solution to this issue.
Decisive strike is great and only works in so little ways that it really doesn't shine too well and shouldn't work how it does now. It only has one purpose and can only be used once.
Here's my proposal:
- **Saving Decisive Strike for your last hook instead, activates the timer once in dying state. NOT after unhook like current Decisive Strike build.**
- **In the event of being carried on your last hook state, the skill check will be slightly more difficult.**
- **Succeeding or failing the Skill Check in any occasion will disable Decisive Strike for the whole trail.**
- **Avoiding the Skill Check with no input saves it for next opportunity.**
Once downed to dying state on your LAST hook, the killer can choose to ignore you until the 60 seconds ends, allowing you to crawl to safety and get helped which if that happens, you cannot use it again once timer ends. Or the killer can pick you up and get stunned if the survivor can land the slightly more difficult skill check:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/573/0XNQFH6N5PYF.png
Decisive has a timer like it usually does for every other unhook but it works different for the last. Only if you haven't already used it. With this rework, you can hope to mitigate face campers and Decisive Strike avoiders alike and have a better time with yourself in the fog.
I dont really get how this works, you enter the dying state before your first hook

@Cheers said:
Many players have been calling for a link between players who arent playing swf and people who are, or even just with the rest of the lobby.
Most of these players are requesting a base kit kindred, however, as mentioned in the most recent stream, a base kit kindred would give to much info away, mainly killer location, so I though I'd try and suggest a possible change that could be made in an attempt to balance it out.
The first thing is lower the range of the aura related to the killer. I'd say about 8 meters rather than it's current 16. This will alert survivors if the killer is camping or not, aswell as should tell which direction the killer plans in going to.
The next change I'd like to see implemented to a base kit kindred is you should be able to see the closest survivor to the hook. If this is yourself then you should be able to see the second closest. This can help alot more then it sounds.
If they're running away from the hook, they're in a chase and leaving you an opportunity to get the save, if they are running to it they are getting the save.
Remember that if kindred is to be made base kit, then nerfs are going to be applied as you'd essentially be having 5 perks if it wasn't.
8 meters is not really enough to fit a basement, just leave the 16 meters

Not really because killers are faster than survivor and unless they are hooked in front of the exit you cant force a body block.

I think you're missing the point...
And the point is interaction, even a Mori forces you to interact every step of the way. Where being able to genrush mitigates if not removes completely that interaction and counterplay.
I'm sure there is going to be some degree of counter to the end that there is no counterplay to being dead, there also isn't any counterplay to a completed generator.
The difference being a survivor can rush a generator without any interaction with the Killer.
Wait, what? How does a survivor using a toolbox prevent the killer from patrolling a gen and kicking it? Using pop? Ruin?

If the Killer gets no one on 2nd hook before end game collapse, how are they to mori someone during EGC when you need to two hook someone to mori them during EGC?
If a person is on struggle on end game collapse and the other survivors come to rescue him you will just tunnel him and mori

He wants to make killing Survivors on death hook during EGC. That is really not a big bump in benefit compared to just hooking someone on death hook.
It is quite a big deal because most bad killers dont get anybody on second hook before the end game collapse and get a lucky down when the last gen pops, so this change would literally allow any killer to deny DS and Unbreakable and get an undeserved kill

@Oreades said:

It's not removing the step of doing the generator, it's removing the killers role in counterplay because you're completing the generator before the killer has a chance to do anything about it.
The same way that a mori isn't removing the step of killing the player, it's just removing the survivors role in counterplay for the 2nd actual hooking. Tho at least the killer had to down and hook the afformentioned survivor once before the downed them the second time to mori them which required multiple interactions from both parties.
Not really, a killer thing just like Brand New part would be something that speed up the hook process, not skipped it

- Equip Any Means Necessary.
- Get in chase.
- Drop pallet in front of killer/stun killer.
- Start resetting pallet.
- Killer waits patiently.
- Stop action at 75%.
- Repeat steps 4-7 until killer breaks pallet, tries to go around, or leaves.
I've gotten several killers with this trick now. It's funny because you waste their time and they just stand there for a bit before they realize what you are doing. Most walk away or break the pallet, but sometimes they will try to mind game you at the pallet. Just jump over and do it on the other side. Eventually they will give up.
