I have to watch the movies again to see what there is possible to use as his powers

I don't have the first clue about what Wishmaster is.
Have you been living under a rock? 😜✌️
The first movie was released in 1997, part 2 in 1999 and there is also a 3rd one but forgot from when that was.

As we got Hellraiser I were thinking on Wishmaster to be possible to be added.
Perk 1:When you pick up and item you will oblivious for 15/20/25 secs.
"Careful what you wish for"
Perk 2: Your obssesion gain 30/25/20 % speed in altruism. Each time a gen is repaired all other survivors recieve a debuff of 1/2/3% accumulable in all other actions.
"Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to have unlimited power and only be able to use it when some worm asks you for something"
Perk 3: When a survivor is rescued from your grasp all other survivors becomes exposed for 15/20/25 secs
"I claim that which is owed"
Have you been stalking me? 😜
I've been wanting that for so long already and suggested it a few times.
Hope you want the same and the one from wishmaster 2: evil never dies?

Nurse, Blight, and Spirit need to be nerfed.
Many killers have a way to deal with them
However, there is no way to deal with Nurse, Blight, and Spirit.
How about you git gud?
Maybe we should stop nerfing killers and look at the actual unbalanced side of the game and get it more equally all around?
The fact that the devs are dumb to actually listen to these kind of threads is so astonishing, instead of looking to the actual problems they listen to this kind of crap.

I mean, Trickster is not really enjoyable to go against. But aside from that, as long as they are not way better than you, playing a 3v1 with 5 Gens is pointless, they dont have a chance to win.
You'd be surprised how you can turn the tide with only 3 survivors.
Remember old spirit where she had collision?
And old Gideon meat plant?
No comms and at least me as a solo, no info perks to warn us if she was coming to me.
1 dc practically at the start with 5 gens left.
She definitely didn't hold back and tried everything to get all 3 of us.
In the end me and 1 other were able to escape by completing all the gens.
So it's not impossible, but it is definitely hard to pull off.

Seeing a few post from November saying you are new to this game, so things at your level might seem OP.
Now before come to the forums ranting about this is OP, that is OP, he is OP, she is OP and so on, you can also just ask what to do against certain things.
You are complaining about bubba and his powers.
• he does have a cooldown after his tokens are gone and they need to come back before he can use it again.
• use windows if they are close, this forces him to either M1 you or bump into the window and go into a tantrum.
• use your surroundings against him.
Run for example around trees, this might cause him to hit the tree.
It can be done with other objects as well.
• no window close?
Jump in a locker.
This is a bit of a tricky stunt to pull of, but if he hits the locker there is a tiny gap where you can jump out safely and he can't grap you out.
This requires a little practice because you need to learn the exact timing of when to jump out.
• very important, don't be around in a group when he is going after someone, split up and go into different directions.
• does he have someone on the hook and not leaving?
Then just do gens and go out.
The bubba has to be pretty bad to let you pull of a unhook and getting away with it.
These are a few counters to him, besides using loops against him.
Remember, you are new to the game so there's things to learn.
Once you start getting the hang of it, you will see the things to do against certain killers

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/306351/noed-op
in my personal opinion, noed is op because the survivors have to put WAAAAAY more effort into countering it than the killer in using it. also, it takes 0 skill and it's very unfun and unfair because survivors don't like getting one shotted with no mistake on their end and it's unfair because the killer did not have to work for that insta-down, while other exposed perks such as devour hope and haunted grounds require either a change in your playstyle or a mistake on the survivor's end respectively
So for example i as killer hook a survivor.
They get unhooked and healed fully, i stumble upon them, down them and want to pick them up.
But doing so i get hit by DS even though i didn't tunnel them but just stumble upon them because they played badly.
How should that be fair and fun for the killer?
Btw this is just an example that can happen.
Also fun is subjectief, something you might find fun doesn't mean it is fun for someone else.
Both sides have perks the other side don't like it's part of the game, just take the L and move onto the next match.
There is no OP perk cause you can easily counter it.

I know there's an inside joke here, but will you explain it to me?
Best thing is to watch back last Q&A about sbmm based on kills and escapes.
Short story, Patrick said someone who runs the killer for 5 gens end dies is zero skill while someone who does gens and escape is skill

This is neither a killer sided forum or a survivor sided forum, both sides complain daily about all different kind of things no matter how valid or stupid it is.
So either do come with facts/evidence that what you say is true to backup your statement, or you just look stupid with such comment

@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
The argument of NOED rewarding bad play is just pure salt. If a Killer is played bad and got around 2 Hooks by the time 5 Generators were finished, the Survivors had plenty of time to cleanse Totems. NOED rewards the Killer for pressuring Survivors, not giving them enough time to cleanse Totems.
Or punishing the laziness of the survivors 😂
-
@dictep said:
Noed is totally broken. It kills more survs than 90% of low-mid mmr killers. And another problem is that killers that use it think they’re better than they really are. And when they play with good survs they come here crying because they think they’re semigods and the problem is that survs are op
So what you're basically saying is that this is happening by both sides?
And yes that is true.
What keeps you from cleansing totems?
Just to be clear, when i still played (stopped a few weeks before the artist release) i always played solo and very rarely NOED was activated.
So don't tell me that breaking totems as a solo is hard/impossible, cause it really isn't.
It's just a few seconds while hopping from 1 gen to another, destroying totems on your way.
And yes there are killers who rely soly on NOED, but they are easy to identify and taken care off.
On rare occasions you have killers who are really good and they to run NOED, it's part of the game.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
This goes for both sides.

@Mandy said:
I'm going to direct the people who are taking this quote shown in the tweet as fact and without any context, to the actual live stream where this was discussed and explained at length - as well as explaining what is planned to happen with taking in team results into consideration as a survivor, which then might take into account the player who ran the killer for the 5 gens that the other survivors did.
The problem with the statement from Patrick is his illogical explanation.
The fact he was comparing dbd with a hockey game didn't make sense as 1 is asymmetrical why the other are even teams.
Then the point saying that someone who runs the killer all game but eventually doesn't escape means it is 0 skill, i know he said it with different words but it is what he said.
I can hide the entire game without seeing either the killer or my teammates, never save, heal, getting chased or even touch a gen and still escape through the exit gates.
Does this mean i actually used skill?
I would say no as i didn't contribute anything in a team game.
All i did was hide and escape and nothing more.
The fact that there is so much missing in between the start and the end of the match is just sad tbh.
The way to adress this is to take actually skill in account for deciding the MMR score.
Let killers and survivors gain and lose mmr points during a match according to their actions.
So when a survivor does do absolute nothing, and i mean nothing, but still escape, they will leave the game with a negative MMR score.
Same for the killer, if he doesn't get a kill or just 1 kill/ 1 hook because he chased 1 survivor the entire game, they will end the match with a negative MMR score.
And I'm not saying this should be made a win/win situation so everyone wins, but there has to be more put into the MMR score besides kills and escapes.
Also a little side note.
The fact that in a previous Q&A it was said that SBMM based on only kills and escapes was not a perfect system, and then now 1 Q&A later it's being said it is a perfect system without any logic reasoning, will make the people very unbelievable.
Just to be clear, this is not an attack on anyone, this is just me speaking my thoughts on the whole terrible situation from the stream ✌️

Not even gonna go into their SBMM and how they try to back it up, embarrassing to say the least.
Like sunset said, think they were just looking for an excuse.
Tbh, do you really believe it was the truth that the twins is very strong at high MMR? 😂
Patrick doesn't really understand what he's doing and talking about and just throws a dart at things to find a reason to work on something.

Because they like to do things with little to no effort.

You could see it perfectly how lazy this stream was, or imo how it was hosted.

@Sluzzy said:
More proof. Imagine nerfing CoH, a perk that gives the survivor a secondary objective to give you only a slightly better self-care, but a perk like Ruin, NOED, Tinkerer (with no cooldown) is not nerfed. Perks that literally do the job for the killer. But a perk that the survivor has to avoid the primary objective, in order to get a better self-care.... is nerfed.
NOED, Bubba, Blight not nerfed despite often complained about.
I was already seeing less CoH, about the only one of the boon perks used, now it might never be used so killer mains will complain about the next perk.
I promise you, survivor nerfs won't stop until they remove sprinting.
Horrifically killer sided.
Many are complaining about you as well and you don't get nerfed either 🤷🏼♂️
-
@Junylar said:
If anyone had any doubts, it shows perfectly which side the devs take in this "us vs them" argument. NOED has been the most unfair and hated perk in the game, turning occasional 0k into 2k, 1k into 3k, and 2k into 4k with no extra effort required. CoH wasn't that strong in the first place, if we don't touch the problematic subject of SWF, and they nerf it after a couple of months.
I guess "just to the bones" argument indeed works in only one direction, it's a title of some sort.
Do bones and it will be gone forever, even before it has a chance to activate.
The boons however has unlimited use and can't be eliminated forever.

Question. Something something game another something balance thing unfair something unfun?
Answer. Soon.
To be fair to BHVR I get that you can't answer a lot of questions, but you pick the questions, maybe pick some you can answer.
EDIT: to be clear, this isn't me trying to booli the devs or anything, I fully understand why they can't answer many questions. However, I do think they could do better at organizing their questions so the stream isn't 90% Soon and 10% answered questions.
To be more constructive my suggestion would be to do the following
If you want feedback on a good way to handle this, take the questions you can answer or provide something more then soon. As to the ones you know you can't, why not have a Q&A post that basically says, here are the most popular questions asked that we don't have a solid answer for and provide a 1-2 sentence answer that basically says soon.
This way, your Q&A video can be more then soon, like not trying to be mean, but I really only counted like 5-7 answers that were not soon. But you are not leaving all of these other questions hanging out in the air. People are still getting their soon answer, just in text. It really shouldn't add much of a work load, as the page can be created as you are creating your queue of questions for the stream.
Lastly, this has the added benefit of providing "more" information to your player base, even though its still basically soon.
This was such a grinchworthy and unprofessional behavior and it gets worse every time
-
@bm33 said:
So many have said the kills/escapes with no nuance has made matches unfun. Matches as killer end up sweatier and as survivor getting potato teammates who rely on other carrying team/dying for escape just isn't fun. It's like when Almo commented on OoO being fine because stats and Cote had to go "stats may say it's fine but obviously it doesn't feel fine if players are complaining." SBMM stats may say it's working BUT so much of the player base is saying it doesn't feel like it's working and that right there is a big problem.
Yup and they live in their own bubble and still to this day thinks stats are showing the whole picture and act accordingly

I'm sure it's hard to get dbd running 60 FPS on a console that came out in 2013. It's possible but probably harder than you think it is. Especially for a game that has basically been needed to be recoded from scratch over the years and isn't a AAA company.
Oh don't get me wrong, never did i expected it to be easy.
The point is that they said they would make that happen and then stayed silent about it and as far as I remember, never came back on that topic to clarify anything about it.
If the announce it to make all platforms be at least 60fps then you can expect it that they can do it.
If however, and this is the case sadly, are not capable doing so, then at least man up and inform the community that you can't hold your promise because of unforseen difficulties.
They would earn more respect if they come clean about it than staying silent about the subject and hoping it will blow over.

I appreciate what you're saying I really do. The whole point of taking the most upvoted questions is that those are the questions that people want to have answered - that's the issue...we're limited on time, we've got roughly an hour for the stream, so we take the most upvoted questions and we will respond to those ones. Going through the rest of the questions to pull things out, that not everyone wants an answer to is not only time consuming but also we might not have time to answer these on the streams themselves.
A lot more work goes into the QA's than people know, and that's ok - we don't expect people to know or understand or be bothered by it. But when teams are busy and we have to pull them off work for streams and questions, we want to make sure that we're answering the questions that the majority of the community want answered.
I really do understand how much time those things will take to setup, but you make a selection of the questions and then seek the answers from the people who knows them.
This also means that you will see questions that have been asked multiple times before and were already answered multiple times in other Q&A streams, yet they still get enough upvotes to make it through.
That is what bothers me (and i believe many others) the most as we already know the answers by now.
Like last Q&A there were questions like that, and at the end of the stream i actually felt like a waste of time with barely any relevant info given.
Imo that's why it's best to also make a selection besides the most upvoted ones.
A good way to do so for example is to like now where people can ask and upvote, keep that open for week and then take the most upvotes and make a selection of some other interesting questions.
Than a week after the questions and upvotes closes do the Q&A stream, this way you have enough time to prepare and have an actual good, fun and informative Q&A stream.

There are console upgrades you know. You won't be able to play on your original Xbox One forever, eventually you'll have to upgrade to the newest console.
I don't think that is the issue, at least not the biggest.
The thing is that they have said they make an optimization patch to bring all platforms to at least 60fps, and then everything went silent about that patch.
That is what pissed of many people as it were empty promises made in, i believe, 2019.

That's similar to what we used to do - which we got heavily flamed for. That's the problem.
We made it this way because this is the way the Community as a whole requested it - a lot of the responsibility has to fall to the people who upvoted the questions that they knew we'd not be able to answer or that were not related to gameplay etc.
Don't get me wrong here as i don't try to be an a hole or anything like that, but you (with you i mean you at bhvr) are a company.
This means that you will get flamed no matter what you'll do as there are always people where you will do everything wrong in their eyes.
That's just part of your job to deal with whether you like it or not, you can't simply please all.
It is good to choose the most upvoted questions as that has the people's interest regardless how stupid it might be, but it's also a good and wise idea to select a few questions that are really interesting.
That way you get a good and interesting Q&A stream where you can actually give some info or feedback, and not like last time where it was a lot "can't answer that" "soon tm" "we have no info on that" and so on.
Cause lets be honest, would you love to watch a Q&A stream where there was actually given some good answers and feedback to you as a viewer or where most questions aren't really answered other that the examples i just gave?
Personally if you ask me i love to get feedbacks and real answers during the stream, that gives me more of a feeling that the devs care.
In my eyes if they do the other part it feels imo very unprofessional and as if they take the easy way out i.e not having to really answer any questions.

I think it did at first, maybe for the first month. Now though? No.
Could be i don't know, haven't played since a few weeks before the artist was released.
Even switched to only survivor but that got bored fast.
Maybe in a few weeks/months i will try again, but i think the chances for me to stay are very slim this time.

Maybe we could look at why people hate MMR instead of punishing them.
I'm not excusing smurfing, but it's really just indicative of a larger issue.

Exactly this.
MMR is only fun/good at the lower skilled level, but once you get higher the less killers are viable and the less variety you can do and have.

So something like the old rank system.
Which I actually think was way better than the current MMR system.
Absolutely agree.
It wasn't the best but still better than SBMM.
And you could use different killers/perks (both sides) and add ons and still have decent matches.
Sure from time to time you would get stomped and vice versa, but the way it is now is that the higher you get, you get 99.99% constant sweat matches.
Don't get me wrong as i don't mind to sweat, but match after match the whole day isn't particular fun.
At least not for me especially as i like to go for as much hooks instead of say 4 kills with 4 hooks.

This is the only explanation.

I never understand the assumption the devs are survivor sided. They’ve nerfed plenty of things that benefit survivors.
1 i was just sarcastic
2 take a look at a lot of patches and you'll see the nerfs ar mostly aimed at killer and if the get an buff then that is such minor changes that is barely changing anything.
If the get a buff that will make a killer a bit better and viable then you can bet you ass it be nerfed soon after, 👀 looking at wraith.
3 there is a q&a where they made a comment they were gonna change the doctor because they hated to play against them 🤷🏼♂️
They brought it upon themselves a big portion of the community feels they are survivor sided.
And you can also see buy the amount of cosmetics they push out for the most played survivors while killers get far less.
Anyways, that is my opinion and I'm not gonna keep going into that as the only people who can change my mind are the devs themselves. ✌️

But this morning I received a certain email.

Imma say Good Bye and come back if it ever gets Fun for me again.
Couldn't blame you.

I actually left a few weeks before the artist was released because the fun has been taken out completely for me.

Seriously, every game as killer there are at LEAST 2 survivors using Circle of Healing and/or Shadowstep. They're the most infuriating things to ever be put into this game. And I am including Haddonfield in that statement.
Why can I not do anything about it as killer? I stomp the totem, but the totem stays there and lets them slap their boon on again and again and again.
Survivor puts Shadowstep down. Whenever you chase someone, they hold W to Shadowstep area. Now you have to give up chase in order to destroy Shadowstep totem. Rinse and repeat.
It is NOT fair
Well take a look at how long it took them to change DS and OoO 😉
I predict it might takes just as long for those 2 perks as well 😥

Rant: if you killers see bloody streamers being offered stop tunneling people. have fun and farm blood points. we will let you double hook and get max bp.
Where does it say that when an certain offering is brought, people have to play by different rules?
If someone playstyle is tunneling and/or camping, why should they suddenly play all differently?
Just because you bring the streamers offering doesn't mean that the killer has to play different, and that goes the other way around as well.
It's a video game, play ot how you like it simple as that.

Also happened with key rework... People will never be happy
I think that had more to do with the fact they said mori and keys would get a rework.
And as everyone is aware of both are going hand in hand with each other, bring a key in the game and you can bet your ass there will be a mori as well.
And both were annoying AF, which they know.
Instead of bringing out both reworks at the same time, the first did only the mori without any indication of when it was gonna happen.
It was just like "oh yeah, btw we changed the mori which goes in affect immediately"
And then it stayed really really really quiet about the key rework, even after all the outrage that they didn't do both at the same time.
That is 1 of the things they should've really been transparent about, and unfortunately they never did.
Which in my eyes as well as many others is that it makes it look like they don't care.

Okay you play killer right. Go to killer and you’ll notice he has a power. Now I want you to go to survivor and then look what the power slot is replaced with. Yea. It’s replaced with items. Items make a big difference but y’all can put a stop to that with ONE perk.
Again just stop relying on items, you might even get better by doing so.
On a very extreme rare occasion i use an item, and if I lose it i don't care about it.
I escape just as much without an item as when i use an item, and yes i do escape a lot.
The fact you rely so much on your items makes you delusional that Franklin is strong.
It is only strong against swf who find it fun to bully with flashlights, or with toolboxes and rush gens as fast as possible.
Other than that it's just a perk that loses its value as soon as the items are gone.

Annoying?
yes.
Toxic?
No

Your telling me you never downed them next to a wall that you could have turned to before you picked up. The reason it’s not abuse is because there is a counter play to it. However the same can’t be said for franklins.
You're missing the point here mate.
I gave an example about something, doesn't have to be flashlights, but can be anything.
My point is that Franklins is not toxic at all and to be honest, i think you mixed annoying and toxic up.
Or you just don't understand what toxic means? 🤷🏼♂️
There is a counter to Franklins as well btw.
If you suspect it's ran or you know it, simple drop your item somewhere if you want your items so badly.
I never understood nor will i ever understand why people are so desperate about their items.
Boohoo if you lose your items.
1. it's just a video game
2. It's just an item
3. You get many more items in the web (you can even have all my items if it was possible)
4. Grow up and accept the lose of a dumb item
