    Remove him

    I beg the differ.

I don't play dbd anymore, but there are some none toxic killers out there as well.

It's an old video of mine playing as wraith tho.

Well thought I would never say it but I'm back to play dead by daylight again. I am hoping I can be welcomed back and my past comments and posts etc being ignored completely.

Good you decided to come back to dbd.

But I'm still staying away from it tho, haven't played it for about a year now and I don't have the urge to come back anytime soon

  • @Murgleïs said:

Why do you think Iron Will is "fine and fun to play" ?

Cause it only benefits them, so that's fine 😉😂

  • Oh no they are changing so perks that have been overly used almost every single match 😱😱😱😱

How about just wait till it drop and just see what fun and/or meta builds you can make now?

I don't understand people crying over things that haven't been released yet and they haven't even experimented with them 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Just had a match where the killer killed everyone, but let the last person escape...

It's the anniversary and everyone but one person used a flan... how rude could you be. If you're gonna let one person escape you should of let everyone farmed some bloodpoints before you killed them at-least but nope... just rude as hell.

He had the audacity to say it was fun at the end-game chat... wasn't fun.

    I have a great solution.

How about you play the way you want to play your matches and the killer plays the way they want, regardless the event.

You don't like that he didn't farm and let 1 go.

He might not like farming and just want to kill.

So just stop being such a crybaby and just play the game, if you didn't like how it ended than just forget about that match and move on to the next match

  • @KillerKiryu47 said:

The Dredge is the worst offender. Survivor games for 2 days straight and can't escape once. Every match is a 4K. This game has gone to hell.

    Survivor feels downright impossible.

I've played this since one year after launch and am so fed up with this god damn game catering infinitely to trash killers to the point that every match is now a 4k. But no, I'm not allowed to judge I guess. And im sure the replies will be so original like "bye then".

    😭😭😭😭😭😭

  • @Ricardo170373 said:

    title!

I was wondering were the first crybaby was that wanted to nerf the new killer at day 1 🤣

Maybe just try some different strategies before crying and giving it a few months time ass well 😉

Simple Dead hard can be used once and that's it because the killer can just ignore it and your screwed as Prove thyself going on a gen and it's done way faster and is perfect for SWF three gen problems. I dislike Dead hard because it's just a waste of a perk slot it's a one use perk I don't get what people see in it I'm just sick of my teammates using the perk because the match ends up with them dead.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nice bait, but you need to try a little harder 🤣🤣🤣

  • @ArchAbhor said:

This is a very annoying thing I see like half the matches I play with randoms. They wait till you're there and try to hop off of hook or hop off in your face. So annoying. Wasting my time trying to risk a save on them, and if I were to be chased away after they attempt they're almost always going to go to stage 2. I could have just stayed on or found a gen to work on, or help another teammate.

It's been done in my face many times, even manage to jump of the hook.

If they jump off right in my face then i just run back to a gen and start working on that, i will kust refuse to heal them after that.

If they don't jump off then i will unhook and heal them.

  • @StarLost said:

Do you ease up slightly and let them do a couple of gens, and earn some BP/grade points before finishing them off? (What I do).

Do you just smash them to get to the next game faster?

    Farm?

I don't change my playstyle, i just continue as if nothing happened.

Tho when 1 survivor is left i give them the hatch as a petty escape.

I'm not gonna ease up cause i want that match to be over and move to the next match.

Farming is something i will never do, because that is something i truly hate and is boring AF

Nothing new. He is trolling about this survivor stuff for a while now. Luckily it is entertaining for the most part

Sometimes it is but tbh it does get a bit annoying, you can barely open the forums without seeing a cry post from Sluzzy

  • @Sluzzy said:

I don’t understand the logic on this one and I hope someone, perhaps a dev, can explain it to me. Why nerf boons totally into the ground and then give a free perk to destroy them permanently when the perk is so easily detectable? I literally see nobody using boons, except the 1 out of 10 matches you might see Circle of Healing. The one time I remember seeing the perk, I didn't even run across the map to find it because it is such a waste of time.

Do devs literally listen to everything and do everything killers want with total disregard to balance and normal thought processes?

And now to the Dredge.  He is overpowered and if he doesn’t get nerfs survivors will not have a chance to win unless the player using him is braindead.  He has powerful map pressure with instant teleporting across the map to any locker, and he has anti-loop. I repeat…this is NOT balanced!

We desperately need to get away from this thinking that killer is only fun if they can squash the survivors with no chance at all for them to win.

If we are going to start having anti-loop, all-knowing, all-map pressure “monsters” in the game, survivors NEED more than a singular pallet in the middle of a field. I am going to go out on the limb and say we need to start looking at more tools for survivors to defend against the monster. We need to get real, if monsters are in the game, we need guns or knives, something that can stall the killer.

Either provide survivors more abilities to fend off the killer or stop with the anti-loop, all-knowing, everywhere map pressure killers.

Disclaimer: I play and have played both sides.

So tell me cause you are confusing me.

You say you literally nobody using boons right?

But then you say you see 1 out of 10 using boons.

So which one is it, cause you can't have both, you have either seen "literally" nobody using or you have 🤷🏼‍♂️

But let me ask you a question to your question.

Why do survivors need an anti tunnel perk which completely nullify a perk of the killer?

In case you are wondering I'm talking about DS that completely counters enduring.

You see that it is a pretty (imo) a unnecessary question.

Besides you should be glad that that perk is put in the game, you know why?

You have complained multiple times about NOED, so boon the totems and let the killer destroy the totems.

    Tadaaaaaa no more NOED 😱

If you want to give the survivor weapons to make it more real to fight off the killers, then they have to make it so that once a survivor is hooked they die.

Makes it more real cause you won't survive a hook like that through your back out through the front 😉

So my suggestion is that you just learn to play and don't give up that easily, look at what other survivors do to counter stuff, record your own gameplay and see what you do wrong and what you can do to improve 😉

That's when you master the game but typically the majority are casuals just trying to have some fun after work I get bored easily so I can't stomach more than 3-5 matches at most in a day so it's not good enough to become god looper 69, if a minority of dedicated 2016 gamers that spends his whole day playing survivor is the measurement line for balance and skill that's just nonsense since the majority are potatoes that will get downed as soon as killer catches up but no if Godlooper69 is doing well then we should adjust the game based on that. Same thing goes for casual and new killers that are stuck facing pro survivors.

Never said i was a pro looper or anything an no i didn't play the game the whole day 🤣

I have a day time job so by i played from 19:00/20:00 to 23:00/0:00 only during weekends i played more hours.

But never said anything about balancing, that is what you wanted to read but wasn't there 😉

Who plays no mither it's like crippling yourself and saying to the killer to chase you because you're the easiest target to down why would you chose to do that ?

Because once you know the game and how to loop, it becomes so simple and so boring.

Especially when killers realize they should not chase me because they are wasting time and losing the game.

This way it gets more interesting for me and more fun, and believe me when i say i don't cripple the team.

The killer rarely gets what he so precious want and that is a down on me.

I know soloQ for some people is very hard and/or very unfun, but soloQ for me is stupidly easy.

Doing gens, get the killer chase me, do some saves and heals and then escape mostly every game is not a challenge for me.

So making it a more interesting and play no mither.

The only downside of no mither is versing Oni 🤣

  • @BadZilla said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2962044#Comment_2962044

Here is the catch.. it's not 1 match it's like every match for me I just gave an example for the first match photo then I moved I didn't care much then next match is the same and every match is the same experience in soloQ it never ends.

Yes i get that it's frustrating when getting tunneled, especially if you're not used to.

I too found it annoying when i started playing day 1 of the console release, but i played both sides and watch what others did, learned from it, adapted parts from them and improved my playstyle.

And then i just was making sure the killer would see me and would chase me, because that is what i loved.

Would that mean i got tunneled?

    Yup.

Would that mean i could be face camped?

    Yup.

    Did it happen?

    Most definitely did.

    Did i care about it?

Nope definitely couldn't care less about it.

It's all part of the game and that's just what it is at the end of the day, just a game 😉

Before you say anything about soloQ, yes i only played soloQ.

You want to know how difficult soloQ can really be?

    Try playing no mither 😉

My build was always, no mither, dead hard, windows and kindred.

Using a bright outfit for the survivor so the killer will easily spot me.

Windows and kindred i would occasionally swap for different perks but never used ds or iron will.

Try playing like that and see just how much the killer loves you then 😬😉

The post isn't about that why are you focusing on that ? You chosen to address that but not the tunneling and face camping that caused survivors to DC?

I don't focus on everything, you are mad because the killer keeps doing that even after a DC.

I just said if that is their play style and they don't want to ease up after a DC then that is up to them, they don't have to let anyone go or play relax, stop tunneling, camping, and whatever they do.

Like i said, it might not be fun for the remaining survivors but there's nothing you can do other than forget about that match and move to the next match.

First game someone gets hooked and then unhooked the killer tunnels her and she disconnects and 20 seconds later the next survivor gets downed and disconnects.. The 3rd survivor gives up and and stops for killer to die but no killer is greedy and slugs her then scans the whole map for me so I don't get hatch like only 1 gen done and killers are greeding to get 4k? even 2 survivors disconnected and 1 gave up?

Second game is even worst a different killer same ######### someone gets hooked and unhooked and the killer is tunneling her off hook like the first game and she disconnects the I get hooked and unhooked and same thing killer is coming to tunnel me and I'm dead and imagine writing ez in post game chat when survivors are disconnecting ??

Your whole 4 min system is a joke everyone is disconnecting every goddamn game for the tiniest inconvenience and when 1 survivor leaves then it's so difficult to do any more gens. SoloQ is hell no one is doing gens no one helps you when you get hooked and everyone disconnects often and it triggers chain effect of other disconnects .. What's my fault in all of this? killers are scummy tunneling and face camping everyone even after dc's . If swf players are toxic and god like then killers are victims but not at all try playing high mmr soloQ it's only tunnel this face camp that slug here slug there ... Do something to punish everyone that disconnects and ruins games a 4 min penalty doesn't scare anyone and it doesn't ramp up that quickly.

Secondly I hope the new perks and updates announced will address these scummy playstyles it's 0 fun to spend the whole game face camped and tunneled.

DBD is unfair and miserable for soloQ survivors.

Update : 4th game so far and every killer I went against tunneled anyone that got unhooked.. and another 1 dc because he slugged. I just can't ... wow I don't want to play either role anymore yikes I'll take a break.

As i can understand that it can be frustrating that people DC, it doesn't mean the killer has to play differently because of that.

If it's their play style and want to continue play like that then they have all the right to it.

Is it unfun for the remaining survivor (s)?

Yes it is, but also unfun for the killer.

I would just shrug it of and move to the next match and forget about this match

  • @EvilBarney666 said:

For me, it has to be a complete nerf /gutting of the meta on both sides. That's what I would like to hear. How about you guys?

Getting rid of SBMM, it doesn't belong in this game.

But one can only dream of that

  • @MalEducado said:

Just put an alert at the start of the match , to let suvirvors know if the killer are using noed ...

Maybe a sound close to the hooks ... Or an icon ... But give info to survivors about if killer are using noeds...just like that

That is indeed a excellent idea, wonder why nobody has thought about that.

Why not just put on the icons of the perks and add ons on screen?

That way we always know immediately what killer we are facing at the start and what their build is, that would be such an amazing idea 👍

To early to say things kike that about a game that has been just released.

I've heard this so many time that this or that game will kill DBD, but eventually these games are gone and dbd is still here.

Not saying they need to step up their game cause the definitely do need to do it, but it is way to early to claim this about a new game

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

Where would you put her on a tierlist based on your fun? Also if she uses good add-ons (range and recharge blink) does it effect your rating as well?

Facing nurse is always the best part of the game, you have to play differently then against other killers.

Which, for me at least, is the most fun, especially when it's a good nurse.

Seeing what i can do and can't do against her, how long i can make the chase last.

  • @Tsulan said:

Hit boxes are not broken. They are simply the same when injured as they are if at full health. Despite the different looking animation. Now a hatched would miss a headshot, but if aiming slightly behind it would hit. You should imagine the hitbox in the shape of a egg.

And then you also have the latency issue there as well.

Which makes it looks like you're in the clear except due to the latency you were still in range of the hatchet.

  • @Thedemogorgon283766 said:

How is it fair that ghostface can 99 someone wait for his power to come back he needs a nerf not a buff ffs

    Sorry had to do that.

But seriously, a nerf to a low tier killer?

    You serious?

I think you are playing way to greedy if you are complaining about that 🤣

    He's a baby Myers basically.

He can only 99 1 survivor and have to do that 3 more times (unless they are all close together), Myers can 99 the entire team and I don't hear you complain about that.

Plus if GF hits you then he loses all his stalk on you, again myers can still injure you and keep you 99 😉🤣

  • @MrPuppier said:

Please nerf to the Nurse. She's so op.

Also shorten the penalty for leaving the game.

It used to be 5 minutes, now it's 15 minutes, look at this #########.

It's been 6 years and there are still the same mistakes. No development.

There are no sanctions against campers and tunnelers.

But there is punishment for dc players #########?

Because the person in front of me is not playing fair, I will be dc and a penalty will be given lmao

    Could you define "playing fair"?

  • @Asian_D_lite81 said:

Ok went against legions all day and they need a nerf. They are able to stand there wait til you mend then hit you again, so frenzy lasts too long. Can hit you two times in a row and down you in frenzy due to the 5th hit downs you. In one match she hit me twice and downed me in frenzy, hit a team mate three times in one match like this too. Seems they are in their power all match long. Also hits you two times in a row while you are in deep wound and did not end their frenzy power like it says it will.

    And @Sluzzy

Ok i got a better deal for you then.

Let's put the first edition of legion back in the game, deal? 😉

So not sure if this question has been asked before (Most likely has) but im curious.

If you could combine 2 killer powers who would you like to combine and why?

Personally I would love to combine Ghostface's stealth stalk with Nemisis whip. This stems from me playing stealthy nemi with his addon to make him stealth when a zombie is destroyed.

Be really interesting to see what combonations others would make.

    That is simple.

    Old spirit and nurse 😂

Best way to get rid of these pesky survivor fast and annoy them at the same time. 😜

It's a survival/ killer game you either die or survive. People get really mad when they die. WHY?

Unfortunately there are still kids or grownup kids that still don't know how to handle a loss, so yeah i think most of us here have had hate messages or like me some even had death treats.

It just shows how stupid some people can be losing their ######### over a videogame.

So you are telling me that getting stuff faster isn't an advantage, my friend?

My friend, if you, my friend, can pay to unlock an op item that otherwise you could only get through let's say 200 hours of gameplay, isn't that pay to win?

By your logic my friend if they add an item that costs 100K iri shards that allows you to press e to automatically kill everyone/escape, but you can also get it with real money, it isn't pay to win, because you, my friend, can still get it through playing.

Were is such an item in dbd?

Yes unlocking things faster by paying is an advantage but, and yes there is a but, everything can be unlocked by just playing the game.

There is not an OP item, perk, killer or survivor in this game, so there is no pay to win.

You can play without perks and win, you can play with perks and win.

You can use nurse and win or you can play Myers and win.

You can play Nea and win or you can play Lori and win.

Nothing in this game will guarantee you a win over others who don't buy it.

I already explained 2 times now what pay to win means and that DBD is not a pay to win game, if you want the explanation then just read my previous comments

Best thing about elitism is that people will do it no matter what :D you can often see people saying stuff like as a high mmr player or well you must be in low mmr not like me

Yeah it will not change anything whether or not they will show it.

I see here on the forums as well as some people who stream claiming they are high or top MMR with nothing to back it up.

As for some of the streamers, i see some survivors or killers they go against that clearly shows they are not high or top MMR whatsoever.

Not only by how they play but also their opponents.

Same logic as behind not showing scoreboard in latest battlefield, yeah right path to take...

Luckily for me i don't play battlefield 😬

But yeah that is also a dumb decision to make, it's not a big deal to show the scoreboard or MMR score.

Take rainbow six siege for example, you get to see your score and how much you gain or lost after a match, and i believe you can even watch what your score is on a screen in the main menu if i remember correctly.

  • @Starrseed said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2913582#Comment_2913582

There are for sure many reasons why not to show. My personal theory is that it would highlight that matchmaking isn't working so good atm and that quick qs get over everything and that it would show that you can hit a wall playing only your Favorit killer if his name isn't blight or nurse

    @Stroggz said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2913314#Comment_2913314

why not show an MMR then and remove\replace grades completely with like monthly XP which in the end tranfers to BP.

They won't show your or others MMR score as stated on the last Q&A because of elitism.

Personally i loved to see my own MMR, I don't care about the MMR from other players tbh

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2913312#Comment_2913312

Pay to win means you can pay to gain an advantage. Unlocking things MUCH faster is an advantage.

The shrine of secrets is pure garbage. 48 perks are from the base game characters, while another big chunk is from unlockable characters, and only a small portion is license perks.

Look at DS: it hasn't been in the shrine for 4 months. Any new player that joined just after it left has been waiting for 4 months already to unlock ds, and they might as well need to wait a whole new year, based on luck (or should I say, lack of it?)

I think you got it backwards there mate.

Pay to win is giving you the advantage to of winning by paying, just as i explained.

You buy something that isn't available in the game by normal gameplay.

Say for example a perk for a killer that increases your movement speed by 20% and gives you the ability to insta down every survivor you hit.

Or for survivor same concept but makes it so the killer has to hit you an additional 2 times before you go down.

That there my friend is the concept of pay to win.

Dbd doesn't have a concept like that, yes they have a massive grind concept, but not a pay 2 win one.

Yes the shrine of secrets it's a matter of waiting for a certain perk to arrive, but it will come there and you are not forced to buy it with real money.

Sure you can buy the DLC with real money, but no one is forcing you to do so cause you can win just as easy without the dlc as with it.

The reason you must buy licensed dlc with real money is due to the fact that the license holder has to be paid, that goes for every game that has license characters in the game.

No killer, survivor or perks in DBD will guarantee you wins when you buy it.

Yes some perks are really good or strong if you want to argue, but still they don't guarantee you the win if you buy them early.

  • @TeabaggingGhostface said:

    Lethal pursuer isn't op

Its an information perk, its strength is showing you how ######### spawns are

Exactly, which i believe only works for 9s and then the rest of match you play with only 3 perks.

  • @DanielB said:

Perks that are locked behind paywall and they are overpowered than the free perks especially lethal pursuer. this has got to stop. we already paid for ur game and now if we want to get those perks we have to pay for it. No, Im not going to give you more money. give me my perks

Hey and we have another new player who got the facts wrong, or someone who is just trolling.

Pay to win means you can buy your advantage which you would get otherwise.

Like in fps for example where you buy a gun that you can't get buy playing the game.

It might look like a normal gun but instead if fires faster and does more damage than the normal gun.

That, my friend, is pay to win.

DBD is definitely not pay to win cause every perk you can get buy playing.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2912827#Comment_2912827

I am sorry but you are wrong:

1 Survivor spends 30-45 seconds booning a totem. In that time; 3 other Survivors are doing gens.

Now, 2 Survivors get hit, but the Killer drops chases to kick gens that are near to popping. Those 2 Survivor run to the Boon and heal. Between them, it took them just as long to heal BOTH as it would have to heal ONE without the boon.

In those 2 heals; the boon has now paid for the time that went in to placing it. It's, literally, now showing a net positive for time on Survivor's end. They have no longer wasted time, since they spent LESS time placing the boon & using it twice, than they would have healing without it.

It's only a net loss, ONLY, if the Killer finds it before it can be used. If it gets used twice; it's a net gain for time; less time spent healing.

You being unable to see that, or you ignoring that, does not change that fact.

And if the Killer spends 15 seconds finding, and stepping on, it, and then a Survivor re-boons? Kilelr has lost time away from gens & chases.

Whereas that ONE Survivor is replacing a NET GAIN for time, while the other 3 continue to work on gens uninterrupted by the Killer, because he was stepping on a Boon that got replaced 5 seconds later.

I'm sorry but your arguments are false. They are baseless nay saying with no evidence to back them up. It's a bald fact that the problem with CoH lies in how it is infinitely replaceable. And Killers lose if they Snuff it (time) or lose if they ignore it (fast heals rewarding Survivors with less time spend healing).

Again; your argument is false and baseless. You're basically saying 'Survivors lose because I said so' with 0 evidence to back it up.

Don't bother with Sluzzy mate, he is absolute ignorant to the real facts because he plays really terrible as survivor (from what I've heard and seen)

He thinks survivors are the weak role in DBD which, up to a certain point, he is correct, but only at the bottom of the MMR table.

And don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with playing very well as killer but terrible as survivor or vice versa, but unfortunately the most people who are terrible at 1 particular side will scream the loudest about that side being weak.

It will never change and nor will Sluzzy, just don't waste your time with him because he only cares what he thinks.

Even if you will provide him with the hard facts right to him him, he will throw it out the window and just says he's right and you're wrong.

It's an endless circle trying to discuss something with him

Just wait for the inevitable repair speed Boon. You know it's going to happen. We have a healing Boon, an aura Boon, a sprint Boon, and an anti slugging Boon. Repair speed Boon is most definitely coming and it'll probably be 6 months before that gets adjusted as well.

The only stacking Boons should do is team actions. So no stacking with perks or items. But they still don't seem to think that's the way to go, so I don't know.

Something that scares me from the first time the brought in the first boons, thought about a repair boon and like you i think it will be a matter of time before that is released.

Big chance that if it is really put in the game, that it will hold me off indefinitely of returning back to DBD

  • I don't see nor do i expect them to delete the perk.

What they can do is for example make it a 1 time use only like a hex, once snuffed the totem breaks and the survivor loses a perk just like the killer loses his hex.

Or put on a timer before blessing again after it being snuffed, also no blessing a new dull totem while you already have a boon totem placed.

Or make it a token system boon.

X amount heals before the boon disappears and no re-blessing again after the tokens are gone.

Just a few things the could do to make it a bit more bearable imo

It probably got added the same way old MoM and old Legion were added.

Just add stuff without properly testing it.

    Always works the best 😂

    At least by BHVR logic

The upcoming nerf will kick CoH in the nuts. Setting up a Boon and then healing will take longer than using Self-Care, which means snuffing the Boon is now worth it

If i remember the numbers correctly, CoH is still faster than self care.

Also CoH is still an faster heal when you're healing someone and a free self heal for all other survivors.

  • @sizzlingmario4 said:

The problem at this point is, if you just nerf COH to the point where it's no longer a problem, that would probably mean nerfing it into something completely useless, meaning boons as a whole will just die because they won't be worth bringing.

I do not think there is a solution to boon totems that doesn't involve changes to the base mechanics, because as it is now they're either going to be overpowered or not be worth a survivor's time despite being an unlimited resource.

That is why it shouldn't have been put into live and first done some very good testing before adding it.

The problem with BHVR and adding/buffing/nerfing things is that they either only do it slightly and barely make a difference, or over do it and making it a problem.

But it's most of the time that they over do it unfortunately

Developers: Hey! You know Killer Hexes? Those things where only 3 are at all worth the drawback?

    Players: Yeah...

Developers: Why don't we give them to Survivors, make them infinitely reuseable, and make them even BETTER than Hexes!

    Players: Wait, really? Why?

Developers: Yeah! And you know how healing literally negates a Killer's progress? And how medkits promote tunneling, which Killers get threats for? Why don't we make a Boon that does that 10x faster! In an area of effect! And can be reused forever with 0 cooldowns or drawbacks of any kind! Survivors can literally heal in the time it takes Killers to wipe their weapon after an attack! Or behind dropped pallets!

Killers will either have to tunnel, and get MORE threats, or spend time they don't have snuffing the totem! At which point, Survivors can just re-apply it, meaning removing it is literally a lose/lose for Killers!

    Killer Players: 😔

    Survivor Players: 🤩

Yes, this is a rant. Yes, I know it's being nerfed (again). Yes, the nerf is the wrong thing being looked at. It's not that it heals too fast (in spite of my snark); it's that it has 0 cool down, infinite uses, and removing it is basically like spitting into the wind; you're hurting yourself more than anything else.

I just hate this perk so much and literally no other perk in the history of DBD has made me want to stop playing more than this one..

In general i don't see why any boon could be used Infinit, it's basically low risk high reward.

Also shadow step i don't really understand, yes it's not as strong as CoH but it can still nullify some killers powers.

Spirit doesn't see scratch marks or auras.

And if the survivor is using IW which is almost standard, she's blind as well as deaf.

As scratch mirror Myers which is already slow and has to surprise them by sneaking, can't see any auras when using his power.

There should imo be some downsides on boons like the amount of usage a boon can be placed.

    Take some hexes for example.

Devour, you need the be a x amount of distance from the hook.

Ruin, you need to push of the survivors from the gens.

NOED (everyone's favorite) you need them to complete all gens or close the hatch.

Lullaby, you need to hook at 3 or 4 survivors to actually get a benefit from it.

That's only a few where the killer is required to do something to get use out of it.

However CoH for example, once injured and the killer leaves you you can heal as much as you want.

Not really logical if you ask me.

I've got this advice so many times recently, "don't go for a 4k. Let one, two or even three survivors escape always so your mmr stays low and you can actually have some fun playing killer" Is this how you play killer in dbd now? Lose the match on purpose so your mmr doesn't get too high and you can actually have fun? Basically just be afraid of mmr. Who came up with this awful matchmaking system which is so crap that it makes players wanna lose on purpose lol.

All i can say is, just ay the way you want, but indeed more kills will get you more sweaty games.

Or be like me and just quit entirely, which i find a shame cause i really loved DBD.

But as killer i consistently had 5-7 minutes games, so i switched to survivor only.

But even that became boring to me after a month, so there was 1 last option for me.

And sometimes seeing streams from different people, after 6+ months i don't miss it.

But it itches sometimes to return.

In the clip she activates balanced landing, an exhaustion perk that moves them at at 150% movement speed for 3 seconds. Leatherface covers the same distance gained from an exhaustion perk. Against just about any killer she should have got away or at least gained a few more seconds, how is that an ideal situation? What is an ideal situation for leatherface no windows? because there are plenty of maps with few windows. Its not the distance that is the issue its the ability to get an instant down on top of this. Can we acknowledge how strong it is to deny survivors the second health state. Again, can you please explain why he needs to cover that much distance and be an instant down? I would be fine with him being able to instant, and I would be fine with his power having that much reach, but not both.

Like i said, that was an ideal situation for bubba.

She decides to run in a straight line without thinking about going to a loop, but instead run where there's nothing to use.

Well except for the tree but that was to late.

Let's be real, how many times will it actually be a situation where bubba uses all 3 tokens in 1 go and gets a down out of it?

    Answer: rarely.

Yes he gains a lot of distance from a 3 token sweep, does that makes him very strong?

Only when you are out in the open.

When you are at a loop, he either has to stop because of a window, because he breaks a pallet, gets stunned by a pallet or bumps into something.

It's only when a survivor like that nea decide to run in a straight, that bubba becomes a treat.

Why would he not get an insta down from his chainsaw after that distance when a survivor decide to not play smart?

You came with the idea to make his chainsaw a 2 hit before going down.

What sense does his chainsaw make then?

It's only for the show and nothing more, and they will 99% of the time go for a M1 instead of his chainsaw.

Cause a M1 is faster that charging your chainsaw, sweep towards the survivor, wait for it to stop sweeping and then do it all over again.

Cause keeping the chainsaw sweep going after a hit isn't ideal, the survivor gets a sprint burst, vaults a window and is now out of reach of bubba.

Sure it looks good on paper maybe but not in practice.

And yes i acknowledge that denying a 2nd health state is strong.

But that is up to the survivor for letting it happen.

Myers, ghostface, huntress, billy, oni, deathslinger, trapper can all insta down you (might missed a few) how is that fair then?

You use loops to counter that, be aware of your surroundings, don't be to greedy, run earlier than you do against M1 killers.

Maybe you are just not that good against bubba, that doesn't make him unfair or in need for a nerf or OP or anything like that.

It's just a matter of personal skill and there is absolutely nothing wrong with or something to be ashamed of.

Everyone has a certain killer as weakness, it's natural.

And no I'm not trying to be a dick by saying that, I'm not saying you are bad at the game only not that good against a bubba.

I've played DBD on and off since 2017. I stopped playing it for most of 2020-21 and picked it back up a couple of months ago for the ring as she seemed fun. If you want my hours then here.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OVJXAMCW2QSY/image.png

So yes, I am quite experienced and played both killer and survivor at high end MMR and actually played dbd on the day they buffed him and noticed within a few hours how strong he is. There is no way to loop him due to the speed and distance of his swing. Even if lets say you do everything perfect, and you actually beat him around a tile and manage to drop it, he still instantly breaks it with his chainsaw and because there is no penalty, within no time can use it again. You are either going to: A go down very quickly due to his ability to instant down or B drop the pallet early and burn through your limited recourses very quickly.

And I do agree about Tier list, they are mostly subjective. My point was a little unclear. I just think he is already quite strong and adding counterplay to him would not cripple him but balance him.

I made a post in a reply to somebody else on this discussion about a few posts above where I linked a video showing how much distance and how fast his swing it actually is. This is not meant to be condescending but could you please watch the video before replying and explain to me why his swing needs to be that far and that fast with the ability to instant down.

The reason i asked about your hours was just to see if you were a new player or a veteran, many new players come to the forums complaining about something being OP or something while they are just learning the game.

I personally have also been playing since day 1 of the console release but stopped about after a month they forced sbmm in the game.

My killer games were 5 to 7 minutes and survivor games were not much longer either.

Now i would never ever say whether or not I'm top end MMR because there are no numbers to back that up, I would personally place myself as an above average player.

Everyone here on the forums say they are playing in high mmr while maybe only 10% actually plays there, so until there are numbers to back it up i will never say in what side of mmr I'm playing.

The thing with bubba is that he is strong, making him not able to turn will make him weak.

Because his chainsaw works on a token system as well as an overheating mechanic (very rarely ever happens) while billy chainsaw you can use whenever you you want without tokens, plus he has a very high mobility which you can't compare with bubba.

Even if you take away the tokens from bubba as well as his ability to turn will still make him weak.

That clip is exactly what happens in an ideal situation for bubba.

If she moved to a spot with a pallet or window, then she would have been fine.

Survivor running in a straight line will always go down easy and make things look easy.

Most experienced DBD players put leatherface as an A tier killer. Who is also one of the easiest to play as he requires little prior knowledge and do not need to use mindgames at tiles to get quick and easy downs. The only real counter to him are windows, which is why every leatherface runs bamboozle to shut down any loop.

So.. yes he is very overtuned and needs something changed to balance him.

Just a genuine question and some proof of it would be welcome, but how many hours do you have in DBD?

Not trying to be mean or anything like that, I'm just very curious.

I have about 3k hours in this game and in the beginning i had massive trouble with bubba.

But once i knew how to run him i barely ever died to a bubba.

The mistake many survivors do is that they are way to greedy.

They try to loop him like a basic M1 killer, stick to a gen to long before start moving to a safe zone, not dropping a pallet when they should, etc, etc.

Once you get the hang of it you can run him for a very long time, trust me.

At best i would place bubba as a B tier killer.

But i don't actually do tier lists as they are just personal preferences.

We keep getting reassurances they're working on some amazing change that will remove all complaints and cure cancer and all that, but no details whatsoever. Given the rate of change in this game, how long do you think before the change occurs (assuming it isn't scrapped)?

Of course, despite the very long time it is taking to get the change, no chance of any temporary measures as a stopgap, such as removing perk tiers or simply some 2x BP events.

More free BP is my guess 😂

Yeah... being able to turn unlike Hillbily is exactly why he needs to nerf. Hillbily is balanced due to the ability to use tiles to force an M1 hit instead of his chainsaw. Leartherface does not have this issue as he can easily make turns. His swing covers entire tiles, you should test how far it covers, its more then an entire tile. It is impossible to play around as leatherface forces players to drop pallets extremely early in order to avoid a hit. His chansaw is far easier to control then Hillbily and can down multipole players at once. Instantly downing survivors is a very risky power as its very strong to deny the injured state. Done properly there is no risk at all to leatherfces instant down power and is by far the strongest.

Tell me that you are joking around please?

    Bubba the strongest?

    Impossible to play around?

    No risk with bubba?

That has to be your biggest troll comment by far

I think seeing each players mmr in the endscreen would be a good thing.

In my mind hiding the MMR is just a way to hide flaws in the matchmaking and the overall balance. When I can see what lvl my opponents are and what lvl I am on it would reduce frustration after a game that just felt awful and would shift it to the real problem the matchmaking.

Just imagine you just got stompt and you can clearly see the other side is diamond rank while you are silver. Then it's not a man I am really bad case but a aww man the matchmaking sucks how should I win this.

And for the people that for example main trapper and they play and climb till silver and then after a time they see with only playing trapper they hit a wall and can't climb further but then they learn blight and boom they start climbing again. This way you could clearly see wich killer would need buffs.

Over all seeing your mmr would give you feedback how you perform and it gives the community real concrete evidence on what needs to be buffed or nerfed and then we could communicate with the devs about it and can say see there is the evidence pls do something.

What do you guys think? Do you think seeing your mmr can bring also bad things?

I don't care much about others mmr score, if they want to keep ot hidden than they can.

I just don't understand why your own score needs to remain hidden.

I know they said to prevent elitism, but that's already in the game created by the ranks.

But in all honesty, i rather see SBMM being removed as a whole.

The 5 to 7 minutes games that SBMM created have made me stop playing this game entirely.

Making the wraith unable to uncloak
