Should have done it earlier then π€·πΌββοΈ
Why should the killer get out of his way for you so you can do a challenge?
Stop crying about it and do it in the next match, the world isn't ending after that match π€¦π»ββοΈ

Read this post from the Dead by Daylight subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/yxgla4/people_who_dont_leave_once_gens_are_completed/
Basically the op explains how he got stomped as Killer by a SWF Feng team, he decides to give up by going afk and taking his dog out for a walk to avoid any penalties. Except when he got back, the SWF was still there and when OP went to go see, they open the gates just to T-Bag and leave. According to op, he says they spent 30 minutes waiting just to make fun of him at the end. Now as someone who has been stomped and tackled by toxic Survivors every time I play Killer, this has to be the most confusing toxic method I've seen. Like, waiting 30 minutes game time just to T-Bag at someone you beat to show how better you are? Like are the Survivors okay or something?
Back when i still played dbd (little over a year now) i have faced such squad once.
I uad enough and just went into the basement afk, didn't feel like to humour this bully squad.
10 minutes later they were still not out and were behind me t bagging.
Now when i stopped and went away they needed 1 gen, so they didn't have any intention to just leave.
I hit 2 of them and just went afk again thinking they would leave this time.
Nope a little over 10 minutes and they were back at it again.
So i did humour them and suddenly the last gen popped.
But they had 20 minutes to leave so when i went full try hard on them i got them all down after 2 of them used their unbreakable.
No exits opened, and i went away and do stuff in home.
They did bleed out eventually plus got some angry messages π
Long story short, i happens very rarely.
I couldn't care less and just moved on to the next match.

@Adaez said:
Is it the latest one or would you revert some changes to older versions if you could?
Before the forced SBMM was implemented.
Rank based matchmaking wasn't the best but it was way better than the SBMM.
As survivor you got more variety of killers.
As killer you got some variety of matches.
And yes on both sides you had matches that were easy or very sweaty, but mostly a pretty much balanced match.

Just finished a match against a SWF. Was going pretty good and managed to get a 3k. Went to the TTV's stream to say hi and gg's. Before I could even begin typing I heard all sorts of crude language from the whole group centered around how I was a toxic killer for X, Y and Z. Needless to say, I left, but it got me thinking...I know everyone isn't like this, but is this the general consensus among people when they lose at this game? Do I need to not hook survivors quickly? Do I need to allow someone to loop me a bunch before I down them? Isn't the objective to win?
I need to know so that I can be a kind killer.
That's the thing with this game.
For some people it will bring the worst in them up when it doesn't go their way, others are just like that by nature.
It's a fun game but some people just can't handle a loss.
This is something that goes for both sides btw and not only survivors.
I've had hate messages from killers as well when i played as survivors, tho not as much as when i played killer π

Nowhere near. Even before his nerf, nowhere near. He's supposed to be a stealth killer but he really isn't. You cannot hit a survivor without uncloaking. That means they can vault a window, or run away as you're slowed down from uncloaking, and you can't really do anything. Try running Wraith with purple Windstorm and purple Swift Hunt, and then running him without those add-ons. You'll see what I mean. I can't play him without those add-ons because it is absolutely insufferable vs good survivors. The only people who complain about Wraith are the inexperienced, full stop.
Easy peasy, never used windstorm when i was still playing and never had the urge to use it.
Most of the times i was able to win my matches with him, even faced a comp squad and got 6 hooks 1 kill.
That was even before he was given his lunge buff.
But as i said in a previous reply to someone, he can be deadly in the right hands but that happens very rarely.
So still far from being OP, in fact he never was actually OP.
Like you said it is due to inexperience or people who refuse to learn to ay against him
-
Remember when he had his lunge?
Suddenly he was OP, even according to the devs calling him a wee bit OP π€·πΌββοΈ
Sure in the right hands he can be deadly, but there weren't many good wraith players when i was still playing.
So i never understood the complaints him being OP, i find it more about a refusal to understand and learn how to counter him.

Yes, but how does the guy a little further away know that?
I mean if the person coming for you can see you and then you start rapidly waving, then they know it is about a trap.
If you do it without the person able to see you than you're giving a wrong signal and big chance that person stops and waits or they run back to a gen.
Obviously when 2 survivors are coming for the rescue than the same still apply and you do it when they can see you.
If you want every survivor to know what is happening than you should run kindred, then they also already know there is a trap near you.

Also c) one guy is already comming for me and you can stay on gens. Have seen it several times when i came for the hooked one (so it coulndt be a)) and no killer was there (so it couldnΒ΄t be b)).
Also seen it used for d) trapper (or hag) put a trap around me, be careful.
D only if the survivor is close to you that you need to start waving rapidly.
If they are to far away they might think the killer is back and staying at you or around your hook.
If they are close and you suddenly start waving rapidly then they can see the killer is nowhere to be found and know it's to warn about a nearby trap.

It is not in every bloodweb.
Sometimes you have 0 in a bloodweb sometimes you have multiple boxes in it, it's pretty much RNG.

I've always known it as "I'm getting camped" from 2016, but I am also aware that somewhere over the years it's become "Save me", which kinda makes it redundant.
It's why I tend to run Kindred in solo queue these days.
Same here, and i always kept it kike that when i was still playing.
Sure sometimes people send me a angry message why i didn't go for the save when they were waving rapidly.
Well then don't signal that you are being camped and i would have came for you π€·πΌββοΈ

To the user who answered, if you happen to see this, no i didnt switch obsession. (it couldve been that i was obsession and someone else made an action becoming the obsession, im not quite sure) I did quite a few unhooks and they were all pretty fast and had yellow speed meter below, so i definitly had the buff. I also had the dying light debuff icon (red)
Did someone maybe had the perk leader or something?
And what perks were you running?
-
Waving your arms rapidly means the killer is camping or still near me.
Grabbing the hook for a few seconds and letting go just before the bar is full means that it is save to unhook me.

I suggest maining her, on PC there is player with over 500+ win streak on her.
How is this even allowed in a competitive PvP game is anyone guess.
My guess would be that console stats are very bad for her, this way she will always be fine and allowed to be unbeatable and even possible to win 99,999% of your games, in a PvP game, which is unheard of outside of dbd.
That is so fun, now it is a competitive pvp game, but when other issues are being mentioned then it is suddenly a casual game π€·πΌββοΈπ

I'm mainly saying this because of the Silent hill outfit pack I feel like it would have been a bit more special if it was just Cheryl who got it just to say hey look a reference. I don't main Feng and I have a feeling my opinion is invalid now because of it but I main Jeff he doesn't have many outfits but I'm happy when he gets a new one every five months anyways I just want the next video game related outfit pack to not have Feng in it.
$$$ is what's it all about.
Most played characters always get the most outfits, higher probability to get the most money out of it. π

Today I was playing survivor and 2 of us were dead. I manage to get to an exit gate injured and I open the door. As I was opening the door I see my (injured) teammate being chased from the killer. I opened the door and sacrificed myself (I went down for my teammate) to get the other one out.
The teammate that escaped typed a <3 in the end game chat and there I understood that I did a good action and I felt happy about it.
Did you ever sacrifice yourself for a teammate?
Oh most definitely did many many times when i was still playing.
My biggest pull off (even escaped) was against a bubba who, which is understandable, was facecamping the hook after the last gen popped.
1 other was not on the hook and we went to the hook and because he was looking left, right, hook, left, right, hook, which gave me the chance to get the unhook.
The bubba made the mistake to go for me even though i had a pallet, manage to loop him for a while and escape with probably less than a second to spare π

I was wondering latelly, and with the kill rate wich each killer and his percentage, what can make a good killer?
A LOT of people here complain that some killer are the worse of all, but some of them are on the podium in the chart...
So, for you, what can make a killer a Good one? Movement? Speed? Power? Teleportation? Terror radius?
Ps: For those who are going to talk about the fact that the stats seem to be distorted because sadako is high, nurse is low... Don't forget that Nurse is free, everyone can play her, but not everyone CAN play her, unlike sadako, or the few who play it, know how to play it, which may explain the stats
A good killer is when people start complaining about them that they are OP and have no counterplay, i.e they have to play different then against other killers and we know they don't want to ππ

No they shouldn't exist. They only exists because people feel like DC'ing because of how the game is. If the game was better people wouldn't want to give up and DC that often because of stuff like the map, the killer they faced, some random bugs, being held hostage, etc. The game would have better maps, better balance and better safety and security so most of the reasons you'd DC for are gone from existing, which then makes DC'ing either a ragequit or an unforeseen non player controled event.
I've had matches where i was winning and i've been DC'ed because of power outages, i got banned on top of the frustration of the power outage. Is that fair? I've lost connection because of some error with the servers, i've lost connection because of rnadom erros from DbD itself, i've lost connection because of hackers, i've lost connection because of this and that and whatever else. How the hell am i responsible and eligible for a penalty when none of those things are my responsability or choice!?
You're ignoring the whole reason of why people DC to justify penalizing whoever DC's because there's alot of DCs. You're only focused on people DC so they must be penalized.
Let's make the game better? Nah let's just give whoever DC a penalty damned be the reason why the DC happened.
What there's manny DCs? Why tho? Who cares why! bring the BAN HAMMER!
How manny people do you think actually want to abandon a match and don't because they know the penalty is worse than killing themselves?
Ther's as manny DCers as people who kill themselves but killing yourself has no penalty. I can still escape if you #########. SAme as if you DC but no no no DCs ruin matches right? Giving up on hook is fine but DCs? Oh no what shall we ever do...
If you feel like DC'ing BUT don't DC it's not because the game is actually fine and you like it. You're not DC'ing because you know the result of DC'ing is even worse than enduring this particular bad match and you're hoping that the next one will be better. And you want that next match to come quick so you can forget the bad one faster. But if you DC you're not forgetting that bad match any faster...
And like i've said and proven the game is made for Casual and Low skill people, these people won't have the will and obviously the skill to endure one bad match anyway so they'll most likely DC. So if the majority of players is Casual and low skill then a large number of people will DC meaning a large amount of people are out of matchmaking and the process goes even slower than it does regularly.
Why would any game inflict itself with very slow queues because they're punishing their intended target audience?
TLDR sorry i hate essays.
The people dc because of the game indeed, on that part we agree.
However they dc simply because it doesn't go their way, that is the reason many players DC.
That is the reason the DC penalties exist.
These days many people are so entitled, everything has to go their way.
If it doesn't they cry and dc, then cry about that they got a dc penalty.
Then they come here on the forums crying about it and they have to be removed.
That's the main reason.
Edit: btw no game, no system can check what the reason is that you DC, whether it's because of power outage, connection lost, errors, etc.
They only register a DC and act accordingly.
Example, take rainbow six siege.
You DC from the game for whatever reason, you have to reconnect to the same match again.
If you fail to do it, you will lose MMR and get a time penalty (iirc 30 minutes for first warning)
Before you go that dbd should have that as well, that is not possible.
Rainbow six siege has multiple rounds and when you reconnect you are dead till next round, dbd has only 1 round so you can't get alive again.

Yep exactly, that's my condition. I cant have conditions or what? I can make rules too so get a grip. You guys organise all the squads, streamers, spectators. Get them in a channel, invite me to it and we can start.
No the person who challenge someone is the person who sets it up, not the people who accept the challenge.
That is how stuff works IRL as well as virtual.
You failing to provide anyway of being contacted by the krapper, no willing to stream your POV, makes you just another random troll or a high possiblity of being a cheater/hacker.
You challenge, you organize, it's that simple.
You don't want to do that?
Than don't make any claims that you are unwilling to prove.
So have a nice remaining weekend mr 99% excuses π€
-
@lemonsway said:
You want to know the real reason DC penalties exist?
BECAUSE PEOPLE GIVE UP TOO OFTEN. Because it's a reoccurant thing.
So why do people give up?
Easy to explain. Wether you do plenty or little in a match doesn't matter, wether you do good or bad doesn't matter. You go 0 Pips or 2 Pips? Doesn't matter.
Doing gens, rescues, heals, boons, totems, chases, kicking things, hitting survivors, using your power, getting hooks, THEY DON'T MATTER.
Unless these actions are DIRECTLY TRANSLATED into ESCAPES or KILLS then they don't matter. Only the end result matters.
IF EFFORT DOESN'T MATTER then obviously the SKILL LEVEL IS LOW because nobody will in their right mind sweat for a match where it doesn't matter. ONly the Competitive Mindset people will do so because getting the END RESULT IS THE ONLY SHOW OF SKILL. However there's very UNSKILLFULL ways of achieving the END RESULT. BEcause the game allows such unskillfullness.
The Grade system is a GRIND system disguised as PARTICIPATION AWARD. You're getting Monthly BP just so you keep GRINDING SOME MORE.
The GAME IS CASUAL BECAUSE IT'S A GRIND FEST and the GAME DOES NOT REWARD SKILL IN ANY WAY. This means the skill level will be really low in the majority of players as proven by MMR statistics and the statistics from kill rates and pick rates for example showcase that too, the game is CASUAL BECAUSE THERE'S NO REWARDS TO INCENTIVIZE ANYTHING OR ANYONE TO GET BETTER.
For example, Mastering a Killer doesn't really mean much when you can you will be facing low skill opponents for most of the time. Learn them all, play them all, that's the objective, wether you do good or not doesn't matter. It's not a bad message but you're putting PLAYERS VS PLAYERS, things have to make sense and have meaning so that skill can be determined but most things in DbD don't make sense. You can't be a Casual grind game when you're also a PvP game. You either reward skill or perpetual playing. You can't do both.
So what do Casual and low Skill players do? They give up, and they do that alot. And it's because they give up alot that DC penalties exist.
DC penalties is nothing but a band aid that punishes players who aren't really at fault because wether they play or not, wether they do well or not, there's no reward. SO THEM DC'ING OR NOT WILL END UP IN WIELDING THE SAME END RESULT THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME.
The only "reward" is YOU PLAYED. When your game is satisfied by simply having people playing it without any real reason or goal then people won't care if they play or not. IF people don't care then they DC, if too manny people star to DC then you gotta change that so you punish them for DC'ing when it makes no sense.
So this
"So what do Casual and low Skill players do? They give up, and they do that alot. And it's because they give up alot that DC penalties exist"
Is your reason why dc penalties should not exist?
If anything you just answered why they should exist and that they are doing exactly what they are meant to do.
You write entire essays that make absolutely no sense, but this is the first true part you've written that made sense.
You even showed why it exists and it's doing it's job well.
-
OMG!!!
Are you still not over this?
Just move on, you think DC bans should not be in the game despite many showed and tried to explain you why it should.
Nothing is gonna change whether you like it or not.
As i and others have said before, maybe it is time to start playing something else for the time being.

If you've deleted and uninstalled then why are you here?
I'm not salty just questioning dumb design decision. SO far nobody ever has presented a reason to why Dc bans should exist.
IF you can't understand how DC penalties are influencing everything else and why everything else influences why people would DC then that's on you.
I've already told you i play whatever i want to play. Find a decent argument.
There is no point in arguing with you.
There has been multiple times reasons why dc penalties should exist, you just don't want to accept them for the sake of arguing.
The reason I'm still here is because it is public and everyone is allowed to be here, whether or not they still play the game.
Btw, i was not telling you that you MUST play a different game, i just gave you advice.

Ofc you didn't read it all, you and 99% of the people don't read things at all, that's precisely why people keep advocating for something without even understanding what they're advocating for or why they're advocating for it.
I do play other games, i have plenty to play.
My problem is the game punishes people for a choice that they are free to make in a game that is unfair by design. It's rubbing salt on an open wound for no reason.
Cross-play already exists and the game is on 6 or 7 platforms now and Queue times are horrible and without crossplay on then finding amatch takes forever so why why keep even more people away from matchmaking? Keeping people away from matchmaking only makes matchmaking take longer and then the games will be even more UNBALANCED AND UNFAIR leading to more frustration and more people willing to DC and then it's on repeat with even longer queues and even more unfair matches.
There's LITERALLY NO BENEFIT WHATSOEVER TO DC PENALTIES. Plus it's a casual game, it's doesn't even have a ranked mode. MMR means absolutly nothing and Grades is just for BP rewards. So there's isn't even a "competitive" reason to have DC penalties.
Plus Cheaters don't get DC penalties but they can force the decision on other players to DC or stay in a match till the server finally wakes up and goes... "hold on this is going on for 2 hours!? bruh turn it off". This is what the servers do!
People are defending DC penalties like they do something good when they don't, they never did and never will.
Well to be honest, i have no interest in a entire rant essay from people who are salty.
If you have plenty to play then why getting so extremely upset about this game when it is unfair to you? π€·πΌββοΈ
Okay you were talking about how unfair this game is and then proceeded to matchmaking and cross play, and then you lost my interest π
Look, just step away from this game, don't think about it and just play every other game you want to play.
Then do exactly the same as i have done last year and uninstall or delete this game.
Trust me, it does wonders

NO YOU DON'T KNOW THE VARIABLES GOING IN! Maps will be RNG, SPAWNS WILL SCREW YOU OVER, TOTEM AND GEN PLACEMENT WILL SCREW YOU OVER!
You know it can happen and you're most likely expecting it to happen very frequently because the game's design and philosophy is poor but you're also judging THE PLAYERS SKILL to notice and take advantage of that but even if the other side is just BAD it doesn't mean you don't have reasons to not wanting to play this match.
And you're still giving me reason, the variables will make you want to DC BECAUSE THE VARIABLES ARE UNFAIR, THE GAME IS UNFAIR! We have enough Maps to where we don't need RNG, we can make fun Maps and let players learn the map and know how to play it instead of going: "oh no i got this here and that but if only i had this instead..."
"A tiny handful of times, either because the killer sucked, or we played out of our minds".
MOST KILLERS ABSOLUTLY SUCK. There's a very very very VERY small percentage of players that are GOOD KILLERS, by good killers i mean they are capable of playing every killer at a high level of understanding. And most of the streamers you watch are not it, not accusing anyone, just pointing out obvious facts, it's normal for the large majority of the player base to not be GOOD, that's all i'm saying. And i'm also saying the statistics prove this. IT's clear there's more Console players, it's clear there's more Casual players, IT'S NORMAL, otherwise there's no reason to explain why Sadako, even tho shes definetly better than D or C tier, is doing so well. She's doing well because A shes better than most people think, B she's affordable to play on all platforms, C she's a very rare killer in matches and most people don't expect her and D the ones that are playing Sadako are better than the normal CASUAL LEVEL. The 4 people that i know that play Sadako regularly are really good at playing her and at playing the game, i won't be wrong to think that most of her outstanding stats are influenced by these 4 people. IT makes sense, good results on a small sample will indicate high percentages of success.
Regarding the general population of DBD it's the exact same BS as in CoD Youtubers, there's such a gigantic number of CoD cheaters and FAKE good players. NADIA MUCH!? That dumb girl got exposed in MW2 Event and just like her, there's manny more. And the exact same stuff happens in DbD but DbD has a very small player base so the chances of it happening are smaller but yet there's 8x more banned people according to BHVR than there is active STEAM PLAYERS for example. So there's alot of freaking CHEATERS in DbD even for a small player base. And no the player base outside of STEAM isn't that much bigger than STEAM, obviously Playstation will have more players but not by much. The difficulty i have in finding Playstation only lobbies forced me to just make the shift to STEAM.
SO i'M RIGHT! YOU CAN WIN BUT MOST PEOPLE JUST GIVE UP. Exactly like OhTofu was complaining about.
The fact someone gives up doesnt ruin your chances to win as a SURVIVOR, it's 1v1v1v1v1, you can win alone.
YOU HAVE THE INTRO MOVIE WHERE 2 SURVIVORS SAY F U TO SOMEONE WHO GOT HOOKED AND JUST CONTINUE WORKING ON THE GEN! That's your proof that this game is SELFISH AF BUT ALSO THAT YOU DON'T NEED OTHERS IN ORDER TO WIN.
The variables will ruin your match BUT FOR SURVIVORS A DC DOES NOT RUIN YOUR MATCH BECAUSE IT'S NOT A 4V1 GAME BUT A 1V1V1V1V1 GAME WHERE YOUR WIN CONDITION IS YOUR ESCAPE NOT THE TEAM. They can DC all day and if you escape you'll just laugh at them and you'll laugh at killer cause you won the 1v1....
If the killer DC's you WIN, if a team mate DC's you can still WIN so a DC does not mean an automatic loss. WILL IT BE HARDER to do the normal objective!? Yeah obviously it will but all the variants can still work in your favor instead of being in the killers favor.
Maps are harder for killer or Survivor?
Perks are more advantageous for killer or Survivor?
How a Survivor TREATS A DC IS LAUGHABLE when their ability to win remains exactly the same. IN FACT YOU DO REMEMBER DC FOR HATCH EXISTING RIGHT!?
Answer me on this if you can, does Low Profile activate if 3 survivors DC? IF yes then there you go EASY ESCAPE. You make no Sound, NO scratchmarks, how will the killer find you? He needs to find hatch first and then you still got 90 seconds to see if you can get a key or open a gate.
How can you have the gall to say a Survivor DC'ing RUINS A MATCH!? IT makes it easier to get HATCH and you can still have the third Survivor kill themselves or DC to give you HATCH!
YOU'RE BENEFITTING FROM ME DC'ing so you get HATCH! Will YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT ME DC'ing? Well according to you you SHOULD BE COMPLAINING!
OH but it's the end of the match it doesn't matter... Yes it does matter a DC is a DC! SO if you say end of match doesnt matter than you're proving me right when i say DC's only ruin a match because you lose the numbers advantage, so when the going gets tough DC's are bad but when you benefit from it then well it's alright it was the end of the match...
DOUBLE STANDARD MUCH!?
So please tell me how are DC penalties justified? MY ABILITY TO SURVIVE DOESN'T REQUIRE YOU OR ANYONE ELSE! MY ABILITY TO WIN AS KILLER RELIES ON EVERYTHING GOING RIGHT FOR ME.
At this rate you're gonna be banning tons of players from matchmaking, and you're ruinning the game still because of longer queues, worse match making parameters, more UNFAIR matches and more PLAYERS WILLING TO DC.
And Cheaters don't DC they force you to stay there for 2 hours or you choose to DC. SO DC penalties don't apply to cheaters at all, only to normal players. SO not letting players DC is only empowering cheaters, more people will suffer because they're either stuck there or they DC and can't play.
SO tell me exactly so is DC penalties benefitting here!? It's riddiculous that they are active when they don't benefit anyone. DC bans don't hurt cheaters, DC bans hurt matchmaking, DC bans apply wether or not you have a reason to DC, everyone gets punished when theres manny reasons to justify a DC.
YOU EVEN HAVE THE SERVERS GIVE YOU AN ERROR MESSAGE AFTER MATCHES HAVE ENDED. THE GAME ISN'T WORKING PROPERLY.
Remember Last Year when RE Chapter 1 came out!? THE GAME WAS UNPLAYABLE. SO yet again more proof the game itself is the reason alot of people DC. Shoul i be punished for the game barely working? ACCORDING TO MOST OF YOU PEOPLE YES I SHOULD BE PUNISHED WITH DC BANS BECAUSE THE GAME DOESN'T WORK.
So basically what you are saying (didn't read it all) is that the game is really unfair?
Here's an Idea, play a different game if it's so unfair, it's really not that hard to do.
I don't really see your problem π€·πΌββοΈ

It's more the fact iv gone from versing known good comp players and even streamers who 4k most games and now it's the complete opposite where the killer is bad and the survivors arent doing anything.
Like I completely agree it's an awful system but all this because I joined 1 game of very low mmr and now I'm stuck
Your MMR finally caught up with you and have put you in the region you belong to.
Just joking btw.
That is why i stopped playing a little over a year ago, MMR shouldn't be in this game and it doesn't really make sense either.

this not even a debate, its fun for no one. not even michelle myers simps. busted add on
Which version you talking about?
I mean i really enjoy getting survivors with infinite tombstone Myers so i definitely see the problem.
Even playing against it is fun imo, you just need to know how to counter it if you onow or suspect he plays it.

Yeah i saw and it is hilarious. Where did I ever say "i am better than you" which is the only point your little challenge would be proving.
I am a casual and by no means could beat you even if you were only halve as good as you claim and never said otherwise.
I just said your claim of winning 99% and only losing 1 in 100 games is unrealistic and you never put any proof behind your words. Your credibility and clinging to your opinions is just not believable.
It depends on what he classifies as a win.
If hey claims that 1 hook is already a win then i definitely believe he win that much π€£

The numbers you guys collected were not accurate then, because the reality in my games and everyone know was different.
Also dbd was very buggy and random crashes happened much more often which also counts as DC.
Ah yes the everything that happens in MY match represents the entire playerbase mentality π€£
That is why still come to the forums for the grinchy delusional posts π€£π€£π€£

The Events show there's potential to add unqiue side objectives to the game. The Halloween events we've had the nectar in Blighted plants during hollow blight and now we have transfering voids. The Christmas event didn't have much side objectives but, we could interact with Snowman to hide from the killers and the lunar event had the cards.
The only side objective we've had that's not been event related has been hunting the knome a while back. So why can't we get more unique side objectives that aren't just event related?
I believe the devs made a comment about this during a Q&A stream.
I think they didn't like the idea to give (the survivors at least) a secondary objective or they thought it would make the game difficult or something

So im a killer main, i always enjoyed this mode. I always thought it was fun to haunt for suvivors with different killers that had their unique powers and playstyles. Before 6.1.0 i thought it was fine. But after this update, besides the buff to killers. Which pretty soon after was pretty much reverted, i face a sweaty team each match i play. By sweaty i mean gen rushers with the best of perks in Dead By Daylight. I can start with the most problematic ones in my opinion. Prove. Fast gens, paired with hyperfocus and toolboxes. Even faster. And the most problematic case for me, Circle Of Healing. This boon has a great range and provides a great advantage for the survivors. If you have a team with 2 CoHs. You spend time kicking them, rebooning and that's the whole cicle. Meanwhile you got the other survivors doing gens which with the perks it's fast as hell. So the problem here is, a coordinated good SWF with the perks i mentioned above. They make it very difficult for the killer to do anything. And now i want to ask, is any of this fun? Is it fun gens going so fast you can barely react? I have tried quiting Dead By Daylight before. I tried to find my own game but i didin't suceed. I eventually came back because i loved this game alot. And with the recent approaches by BHVR i feel more and more demotivated to play. And i have to do it, because i have no idea of what else to play because i started playing this game almost one year ago and enjoyed it alot. But now, not so much. It just feels tiring with all i said above. Am i just a bad killer, or are sweaty teams just overpowered? Thank you for reading this, just wanted to share my recent feelings about this game. That i once enjoyed alot, nowadays. Not so much.
Best thing to do is to play something else.
I did the same and i feel much better now.
I stopped playing dbd about 1-1.5 months after they forced MMR in the game, my games lasted around the 5 to 7 minutes even when i started to solely playing survivor.
For me the fun was gone and so i focused more on 2 racing games and been doing that ever since, sometimes i think about coming back but then i think about why i stopped and move on.

BHVR and Killer consider it totally sportsmanlike and fair. Game isnβt broken at all.
Maybe you should blame your fellow teammate who decided to DC instead of the killers?
If the killer wants to farm in this scenario than you're in luck, if not than though luck and just move on to the next match.
Killers aren't under any obligation to start farming in this scenario, some just want to end the match quick and move to the next one where your entitled teammates won't DC

Or if theyβre in the dying state?? We all know that lockers are the only way to counter a tombstone Myers once he is able to mori. But also survivors probably shouldβve done a better job by not allowing to him to juice up to tier 3. What do yβall think?
The only way?
Try to sit on a gen if he chases you.
Or valt a pallet or window.
These are all ways to make sure he can't mori you π
Many people forget about these.

Yeah. Its pretty unmotivating. Sometimes i even see comments like "you have XXX amount of hours, why you play like this" because i never played this killer before?
Its like everyone who occasionally plays killer is supposed to handle every killer perfectly and gets trash talked after the match.
Usually that is done by people who never or very rarely play killer.
They think everyone plays the killer perfectly whether or not you ever played that said killer.
They forget that certain killers are played differently and have to get used to that playstyle.
When i played wraith i could win most of my games but if i play hag for example, i will struggle and lose more than i win.
Simply because I rarely played her.
But some people have a hard time thinking about that fact

Good shes annoying what kind of killer has a camp and tunnel as their power???? Hope she gets a full rework
I don't know, twins maybe? π€π€·πΌββοΈ

His power is basically nurse - practically no recharge and covers the same distance just as fast. It can't go through walls, but with the buff it still hurts you over pallets and vaults, and he doesn't even have to have the skill to land it on you, you just need to be in its path.
In addition to this insane power, he's a full 4.6ms killer. On indoor maps it's nearly impossible to locate him due to his insane terror radius so he gets quasi-stealth on those maps, nullifying his disadvantage over nurse's ability to go through walls on those maps. And he gets a fun little minigame with infection too, adding a little bit of inbuilt slowdown on top.
You won't see sweats playing Blight anymore, that's for sure, Wesker vastly outclasses him.
See you guys in a week when hopefully this killer is being played less because facing him is utterly unbearable. Plus I have noone left to play with because my whole friends list already just dropped the game from this update.
You crybabies are so grinch.
Day 1 and immediately complaining without learning how to play against him π€£π€£
Try to actually learn to play before starting to cry about something.

@MommyHunktress said:
so when is it safe for me to keep running? I just used an object to negate weskers ability, but because his cooldown isnt obvious I just got zoned for free after looping him cross map... how long does he have before his chain dash until he has fatigue? By the time they pull their arm down they already seem to regain their speed and function so I am struggling to understand his cooldown
Best way to find out?
Play him for yourself πβοΈ

Per the survivor rulebook, killers are no longer allowed to, and i quote, "camp the gens" and if you do you are, and i quote "trash killer"
This is a rule from the old age.
I've been sent to the clown map before the updates as scratch mirror Myers.
All 4 survivors came to a gen that was almost done (2 gems left) i chased them of and kicked it, but all 4 just kept getting back immediately before i was even gone there.
Eventually the gen was almost back to nothing just by kicking it after they tabbed it.
For some reason i managed to get a 4k and i was called a gen camper π€£

and how do i upload a video?
Stream it on twitch, then place it on Facebook and then immediately take it of off Facebook.
Go to Twitter and do the same but post the Twitter message on Facebook.
Then go to Instagram and do exactly the same and post that link to Twitter and then post that Instagram/Twitter link on Facebook and delete it again.
Do exactly the same on Snapchat, telegram and other platforms.
Than go to YouTube and post a video of a clown with the title l "nice trolling"

and to further point this out heres a game i just played also againt a huntress who was better than the other one
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/S2NDYNVNHIYT/schermopname-28143-29.png
she didnt tunnel or camp
yes she didnt have alot of points but at least everyone had fun and if she had decided to tunnel or camp we wouldve probably lost since 2 people were on deathhook
and no one wouldve had a good time and depending on how mm works she would continue doing that for the rest of the games after this
You know that screenshots tells us nothing right?
I can suicide on hook immediately take a screenshot an say i got tunneled and camped.
I can do 4 gens, few saves, few heals and than getting chased by the killer for minutes on end and then getting camped on hook, take a screenshot a say it was a good game.
You see, a screenshot says absolutely nothing about a game whatsoever, a video however tells more about the match.

The last screen is from another game where you had 37,000....? Because the names of your team mates are exactly the same, and you're saying they were all solo....So you got the same exact group again somehow ?
Not to defend the op or anything, but getting the same teammates as before is possible.
At least you as a solo being match with a 3 swf.
Have had that myself 3 times where i was match with the same 3 swf people so it is possible.
But all 4 as solo?
That i highly doubt
