I don’t think playing killer is easy (ex killer main), but it’s laughable to say survivor is so easy when the killers I named take literally no skill to get good results with. Spirit especially gets free 4ks because of her power, again talking from experience I’m not good at killer and would still consistently 4k with her

Oh man that is the most hilarious line i ever heard just like with Freddie.

    Sprit gets a free 4k what a joke 😂

Than either you are terrible as a survivor when you and your team gets demolished or you have been playing spirit in very low ranks to get that.

I have met many spirits over the time I've been playing and escaped most of them, through the gates btw.

So where were their free 4k then i ask you?

If they would revive some of the weaker killers during that time people will be excited and won't even notice the lack of new killers. Then again, judging by the steam charts their player base is never really growing nor diminishing. With an idea that's so unique and fresh and fun? How? So I assume people come, play the game, get bored and leave. Imo they should really work on their player retention because one day another company with a big budget will do a better version and squander them.

And that is why i say they should do a QOL chapter to get things back on track again.

Then they can look forward to new stuff.

The least thing you want during that time is revive old stuff.

By doing that you make things even more complex as the have to dig in their codes, implement that into the live version.

Which in turn will eventually create even more problems.

The best thing to do is to leave it as it is (more playable than it is now) and focus on the games health

Most of the threads i see are basically "nerf survs"

I noticed that, if someone dares to defend survs, or having opinions against killer gameplay, hes immediatly, most of the time, called a "Sluzzy", mocked, not being taken serious, while all the ones blaming survs and anything that concerns them gets tons of upvotes..

It's my impartial point of view tho.

    Goes both ways mate.

1 side blames the other, always has been always will be.

What sort of tomfoolery is this?! Here's the first change to keys......

I've been calling it for a long time.

The devs love key's and there won't be any "major" change to it.

Probably only that you need 1 charge to instantly open the hatch.

But if they ever going to do a big change to key's then the first sign we will get from it will probably Q1 next year.

AND....... If we're luck we get the change implemented at the end of next year 😂

My feeling is they only say they'll be changing keys to keep everyone as quiet as possible

Nobody looses 10 ranks because killers tunnel, if you loose that many ranks you simply are bad.

I have a feeling they were already rank 11 but in their head they are a rank 1

Aside from not having every survivor use the same perks every single game, like most killers do with Ruin? Well, not much. But killers tend to forget one tiny, little detail, when they use this as an excuse: even if you get "gen rushed", you're still able to score points in every single category. As a survivor, you can just run. And get points for just the chase category. That's it. All you get to do is run and hope you can waste enough of the killer's time, knowing that even the worst killer in the world will eventually catch you, not because of any skill, but because of spammable powers and Bloodlust. Same goes for camping. When I play survivor, I don't expect to survive each and every single game, as opposed to killers who exact 4 kills for every match they play. But, you know, I'd like to also be able to score points and not have my rank being affected by rng (which usually means that you get camped and tunneled if you are the first to be found). This is a general point, it doesn't mean that I can't. It just means that you can have your whole match ruined by someone who resorts to cheap "playstyles", but that can't happen as a killer. Unless you have no clue about what you are doing, that is.

Well i guess you didn't get the memo back then.

They made it so that when you are being chased, you still earn points when others complete gens and cleanse totems and such.

So you don't get only points in chase only.

And yes i can remember a game where i was tunneled the entire match.

I touch a totem for literally 1s at most and didn't touch anything else for the entire game.

The only thing i did all game was juking the nurse.

Sure i eventually died in the end after all gens were done tho, but even though I died i still pipped.

Yes it is an old game but the scoring hasn't changed tho.

People who are bad do it because they can’t win by playing normally, I went from rank 1 to rank 11 now in just 1 week because I kept getting tunneled. They really need to get punished.

    @DuskMascato said:

So since DBD fixes everything besides their bugs that kick people out out and make them lose points I’m now a rank 9, I was a 4. I’m getting killers who either camp or tunnel. Is this the new strategy for people who suck? You get no points for camping and tunneling so why do it, it’s not fun for either.

Honestly i suggest to watch back your own gameplay and see what was really going on.

Because personally i think it will be a YOU problem most of the time.

Not saying you don't get tunneled or anything, but dropping that much in a short time isn't from being tunneled.

I personally think you messed up somewhere with something which made you getting out of the fame faster than you'd like.

Cause I've been tunneled many times and i still manage to pip or to safe pip.

No I'm not saying that I'm better, I'm saying you don't depip that fast from being tunneled.

I'm very confident that there is more than you let us know, and you don't tell the real reason from dropping ranks that fast

  • @Gwinty said:

    Meyrs taking no skill?

Okay, you opinion but I do not think you could back that one up with any reasonable argument or data.

I for my part think that Self Care is the Killer which requires no skill. A survivor just brings this and tyrs to heal through a Sloppy Butcher or in the corner and it will kill their entire team almost as fast as a DC.

Nah he is kind of right.

Myers is very hard to go against.

But then again,so are all the killers in the lower ranks

  • @van9684 said:

I’d say it’s between Meyers or wraith. Both require zero skill and award easy kills through broken mechanics.

especially Meyers. I feel anyone can pick him up and be decent from the start. Which do you think is the most brainless killer to play? Thanks.

That is easy there are a whole roster of killers that take 0 skill.

Nea, meg, Claudette, jeff, ash, yeah basically that entire roster

LOL I can imagine they toxicity during the voice chat already.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2296074#Comment_2296074

You didn't mention any perks or toolboxes when those are in play yes the community call that the true definition of gen-rushing and the only kind. The rest is just bad maps, spawns, and mixed variables of perks/killer used oh and of course applying pressure.

Yeah i was doing multiple things and didn't check before i pressed post 😅

But yeah indeed it can be multiple factors from which it looks like it's a gen rush when in fact it isn't.

Hell sometimes i think they rush gens, but when i rewatch the match it wasn't.

It looked like it was because i was so busy all the time which made it look fast when it wasn't.

  • @chargernick85 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2295956#Comment_2295956

Nope. They were more than likely spawn separately (without the offering lol) and didn't have to work for that pressure hence they spawned in different areas. Lethal pursuer would have shown you that at the beginning. Chased/Downed one while 3 on gens what's going to happen? The guy you chased may have a bit on a gen as well in the worst of outcomes meaning progress on 4 gens from the start but they still have to get that last one. 1 Gen left/end game a lot of work can be put in still for sure.

Like i said it was before the wraith got his changes, so lethal pursuer was not there yet lol.

But yeah that they spawned on different gens was obvious and i don't complain about that.

I had to mention that it were 4 toolboxes from which 3 of them used bnp tho, my bad.

And yes number 4 had some progress but was no more than 5s.

The fact that they used multiple perks to speed up the repair progress also helped them especially when the 3 got done cause all they had to do was stick together on a gen.

And I don't mind when 3 gens pop that happens and sometimes you get back from that and sometimes you don't.

The fact 4 gens were done under 5 minutes is definitely considered gen rush, maybe not to you but i think for most of the community it does whether survivor or killer.

About 99% of the time it's on the killer when gens get done fast, but there are instances where the killer is just powerless.

In my game i shouldn't have won at all, they had split the gens perfectly to get it done.

But they messed up and that was only luck for me.

But for me any game where 4 or 5 gens are done under 5 minutes is a gen rush, but these games are very rare

  • @konchok said:

Gen rush is seriously the silliest thing I've ever heard of, I even had a game yesterday where the survivors brought me to Ormond, and brought 2 BNPs and had the first gen done before I could get to the generator with Blight. And you know what, that's the only generator they got done.

You can't just win this game by completing gens quickly. The games that I lose tend to be against 4 solid survivors that don't make mistakes. Survivors without a weak link in the group is way more impactful than a group that's out to rush generators.

    @chargernick85 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2295515#Comment_2295515

I don't believe in gen rushing either. I do however look at all things (try to) from everyone's perspective so to that point when I'm Blight there is a much different level to what I can do then lets say trapper (who I love and am pretty good with) and find my games more smooth. All I'm saying is there's a whole roster out there and Blight at his worst is considered 3rd/4th best killer out there. Can traverse the map very very quickly and when he gets rolling is hard to slow down. Also two BNP on one generator is already a mistake so they were not the brightest anyhow.

I kinda agree but also a bit disagree.

Gen rush is definitely a thing ,tho it's often used as an excuse.

But there are games there where gens pop just to damn fast.

Small example was before wraiths changes, and I'm not saying I'm the best with him or anything but i am pretty darn good with him.

The game starts and i find a survivor within a few seconds, who apparently didn't know how to loop (indeed red ranks yes) on Thompson house.

She went down in about 30s give or take a few.

When i carry her to the basement,as luckily that was the closest, 2 gens already popped and the moment I'm on top of the stairs again the 3rd gen popped.

At that moment i already thought it was gg, cause yeah 1 hook and 3 gens lost already in a stupidly short time.

The 4th was pretty fast as well while i was chasing another survivor as I don't like staying at the hook and just want as many hooks as possible.

I believe that was a little over 3 to 4 minutes where i lost 4 gens already and only 2 hooks.

At that point it should've been over for me, but they suddenly went stupid or something.

They all focussed on 1 gen in the middle and didn't care about the one's in both corners of the map.

From that point it snowballed downhill for them and still got by some miracle 12 hooks 🤷🏼‍♂️

But yeah point is, gen rush definitely exist but not as often as many claim to be

  • @aroell said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2294964#Comment_2294964

Do you think it’s fun for survivors to get camped and tunneled to death? I swear if tunneling wasn’t a problem there would be no such thing as genrush.

have you ever heard of corrupt intervention, surveillance and other perks? They are very good for gen defense.

    I beg the differ.

Even if none of the killers ever camp, there will still be gen rush believe it or not.

Ruin, even with undying will go down very quick much of the time.

Pop will take time to set up as you need to down a survivor first, then go to a gen which mostly pops before you actually get there.

Corrupt most of the survivors will wait it out and then rush.

Surveillance is nice if the have been working on that gen before, but not before and breaking off a chase for it is not woth it.

Discordance is only good when there are 2 people or more on it otherwise it's useless.

Beside you have to chase both off but you can only chase one at the time.

A camping killer you fight by gen rush and escape plain and simple.

Tunneling killer you need to have a good understanding of tiles and waste as much time as you can by using the tiles effectively.

Another option for tunneling killers is when you see a killer do that,go take a protection hit or bodyblock him.

Either way you give that survivor a chance to get away and maybe you get the killers attention.

    Just a little example.

    https://youtu.be/Q6Y1dGd3k7Q

Maybe not my best round but it shows a bit how i use tiles and tes it's an old one i know

🤣 Id don't care if you care or not .

But sure you think I'm the only one.

What i was trying to say, and this actually went over your head clearly.

Don't out in the title that you're a killer main, cause that doesn't make you really believable with your complaint.

Even though i agree that noed is a bad perk, as a survivor main you should know by now how to find totems if you get irritated by it.

There are multiple perks to help you with it if you can't memorize the spawns (nothing wrong with that), or bring a map and go hunting.

As a solo survivor noed activates very rarely.

    Why?

Because i actually search for the totems, and many times my teammates as well.

You can always tell if someone is running noed by their playstyle, which should hint you and your team to look for the totems 😉

  • @BenZ0 said:

I really dislike this perk, it doesnt provide any fun interaction or gameplay. There is no skill or effort involved, its just for bad Killers to push their ego and get some cheeky easy kills even though they played bad.

My idea would be simiular like No way out. Hook every survivors once atleast to make it active once all gens are done.

    🤣🤣🤣

Hot to tell if someone is a survivor main 101 🤣🤣🤣

Just put in the title that the killer/perk nerf comes from a killer main .

Wake up kid, nobody believes you 🤣🤘

  • Nope sorry mate,i play both side.

    So to disappoint you.

The only killer perk i have a problem with is noed, the rest of the perks are fine and people are just whining about it because they want the killer to be their b itch and that they control what is happening during thale match

  • @Steah said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2290662#Comment_2290662

That's why i don't NOED should be nerfed but totem counter should be implemented. Also the perk existing in the pool itself giving value applies to a lot of survivor perks. Soul guard, Unbreakable, DS, Power Struggle. I have to play like everyone has those at all times.

    @van9684 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2290756#Comment_2290756

So survivors have no excuse not get all totems but killers can let all gens go and get rewarded at end game? Seems logical .

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but there is already s totem counter.

The fact that you don't want to run small fame is entirely up to you, if you want to a totem counter then just run that perk.

When i play as survivor I only play solo and on a rare occasion noed activates, and even then it is pretty easy to get rid off in most cases.

Right now there is zero excuse to talk about wanting a totem counter , because there is 1 but you refuse to run it.

And for the record, no i don't run it either.

But then again, i even run without perks and items and still get out trough the exit gates.

It doest destroy the items anymore, now it only consume charges

  • @kaeru said:

Keys should consume some amount of time and charges to open hatch.

Yup that could be a nice mechanic.

The hatch requires a certain amount of charges to open it.

That way when they bring keys with aura reading abilities, they have to be smart on how much the use it if they want to escape by the hatch

  • @van9684 said:

I would get rid of Noed or give it a massive overhaul. Rewarding killers end game who have played poorly is a broken feature and works against killers developing skill.

I would also say bbq and chili. Killer should see one players aura upon hooking another survivor.

which do you think need a rework or nerf?

lol you really dislike killers and their perks don't you?

Have you actually played killer at red ranks i wonder?

No i don't mean by getting boosted there, but legit normal gameplay.

All the things you dislike about killers or their perks can easily countered, or could it be that you desperately want to control what the killer does?

Try looking from both sides with open eyes and see why they use certain perks, what is the real reason behind it.

Both sides have perks the other side doesn't like.

Grow up and start learning what to do instead of whining about nerfs

That being said, with the map being disabled for 3 days now, pushing 4, another BP gift is almost expected...

Nah sorry I don't have anymore empathy for the devs left.

Not sure how long you've been around on dbd, but if you have been here way before covid happend than you will know that what you're saying is just bs.

They delivered broken dlc and updates before covid happened, so giving that excuse just doesn't work?

It's just time they start stepping up their game and start delivering some good content instead of buggy ones.

It's a pity that many people will except some silly amount of bp as compensation as an excuse they messed up AGAIN.

I don't care 1 single bit about about the BP, nor do I care about any other for of compensation to silence you.

Well while we're on the topic of BF now, I'm pretty disappointed that it's only 128 players on the map.

I can remember a ps3 game that pulled off to double THAT, called MAG.

and trust me that game was F ING awesome, to bad the studio ruined itself and does not longer exist.

But the 126v126 was freaking cool, and this was on a ps3 for crying out loud.

But anyway, even though it was on a ps3, I'm very surprised that bhvr can't even handle a 4v1 game 😅

  • @SammehStormborn said:

There are multiplayer bethesda games. They equally have a bunch of issues, and usually do with updates, making the game unplayable at times - system crashes, disconnecting from the server, unable to group up with people, losing comms, crashes in PVP often, having to reload the game because the load screen gets stuck. Even been issues where characters get stuck in certain areas which make them unplayable until a new update comes out. Bethesdas response? Play a different character… And they’re just some of issues off the top of my head I can think of.

I get the frustration with DBD at the moment - but in comparison, it isn’t as bad as other multiplayer games I’ve played. Doesn’t make it okay, but considering they are a smaller company, they fix issues pretty quick and compensate, something no you don’t see with bigger companies.

    Cough couch ubisoft couch 😅

With operation health on rainbow 6 siege they actually gave free stuff to everyone who were playing the game before that season.

A full elite skin for Ash, as well as weapon skins and charms for her and some weapon skins and charms for some other operators.

And, but i could be wrong, they even gave some rainbow 6 points, ie game currency which you normally had to buy with real life money. 😉

  • @BronzeHandModel said:

    First of all,

I understand that bugs and crashes are frustating and lows the fun of playing the game. But every game this big has the problems.

But to criticize every chapter or update saying its unplayable and demand a ridiculous amount BP for free is just disproportionate.

For example Skyrim had so many bugs over years and no one got any "compensation". We all get free Bp for the many bugs in dbd. Be greatful. I mean its still playable and enjoyable. Take it like a grown up.

    Yeah but no.

Not every game big or small has this kind of bs crap updates.

Sure some game do but many don't.

Unfortunately with dbd it's getting worse and worse because they take the only testing data from the ptb.

They don't test it properly to find the problems before releasing the dlc, trust me this is going on for a long time now.

But let's take a look for example to ubisoft with rainbow 6 siege, they hat some major problems but guess what they did?

Well they didn't put their heads in the sand pretending nothing is wrong, no they acknowledge there were problems.

And the way they fixed this?

They dedicated an entire season to a QOL, or as they called it a operation health.

Sure you can say "but ubisoft is a big company and bhvr is just an indie"

Yes that is true, but can you remember during a Q&A what they said about QOL?

They were bragging that they are now big enough to push out new content and do QOL at the same time.

Let's be honest, do you really notice anything about QOL?

I don't mean afterwards but during the launch of a new dlc?

Nope, every time with new dlc new AND old bugs/clitches come into the game.

Then there will be some time passing before they find it and then more time to fix it and again before releasing a update for fixing some.

And yes they create new ones a lot of the time too.

I've been calling it for a long time now, to fix their problems and optimize the game, they need to dedicate a chapter soly to QOL.

The game will be much better and they have less trouble with future updates/dlc.

But until they get their heads out of their butts, that will never happen

Unfortunately I don't have much choice right now. Ranks have been seemingly frozen the last 2 days so I'm always against baby survivors. And if the choice is between bullying new survivors and farming, I'd rather farm.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2281822#Comment_2281822

Not sure what killers you are farming with but it takes maybe 9 minutes total for me to farm with survivors. Its not that hard to do basic math to make sure everyone gets enough points.

Well honestly I find that hard to believe that you go against baby survivors and Rank is practically frozen.

Baby survivors for me is what I got after 4 months being away and started playing again last Sunday from rank 17.

Bulldoze over the survivors without perks and add ons and even with trickster playing for the first time, rank 10 on Monday for only about 4hrs on total.

And now with nemesis I do the same, no perks no add ons to learn his base kit, and still I rank up, and yes by this point I already go against red ranks.

So i kinda find it hard to believe you don't get decent survivors and you barely rank up

  • Same, there is a reason for me to pick up gran turismo sport again after a year absent

I agree. But I don't think there is a huge difference in fake-reports (so no bannable reasons, just because you are mad about something) compared for today- and there are lots of positive votes, too -and no matter how often you report someone for a non-bannable reason- nobody cares. when someone is reported for hacking- i guess there are lots of reports in a short time- and the worst thing can happen is a time ban until one of the team is taking care of it. As long as one surv vote counts 0,25 I don't think there is something to be worried about players who just want to force the opposite player to play like they want to. But in my opinion I think the only problem will be the experience with new patches and fixes- the last few months they really messed up so many things which were game-breaking- I was shocked about the problems with the RE chapter which occured- so.. seeing this and remembering the last patches and updates... I think an auto-ban system really can be a mess... not because of the players- i am sure everyone knows that sometimes one side (surv or killers) are just toxic af and not interested in facts or in improving gamestyle- so I don't think it will be possible to cause a perma ban just because you are mad by the players... but maybe because the system itself is not working correctly- so actually i wouldn't be surprised if you receive 10 vote ups/ thumb ups for good play, it could be possible you are banned for 1-2 hours or stuff like this.

Oh yeah i fully understand that they keep fake reporting for them messing up during the match.

All I can hope is that they will look at that and realise it are fake reports and that person gets a ban for fake reporting.

But yeah getting to know bhvr these last 5 years makes me think they won't.

And I'm very confident I'll be a victim of those fake reports, I've been reported so many times if I'm to believe those salty people that the amount would probably end up in a perma ban.

But we'll have to wait and see, maybe, just maybe, bhvr will surprise me 🤞

did you read my explanation about the ban things? Even if you WISH you could let ban players who are camping- it is NOT possible for this reason. i explained reason for this "misunderstanding" and in what exactly situation camping can be a ban reason- but forum messed up with "checking" around 3 hours or so... so that text of me "vanished" on site before. No one accuses you of being a fool- but you are misinformed. And it doesn't make sense to discuss about rules fact- but it is understandable when you see how those misunderstandings and different information are spreading- so it is understandable, but still it is wrong- it is not a bannable offense for hiding into lockers the whole game or waiting for another player to die or for annoying the killer with BM, too. When you read my long explanation i think you will understand reason for different information on different players.

There are unfortunately people on this earth who has a huge wall in front of them.

You can come with fact all you want, but they will never except them unless it fits their story.

If given up on those type of people as they don't deserve my energy anymore.

I often ask the same thing - and about Killers as well. Especially when I see them play a Party Streamer. Why on earth would you NOT try and farm points when one or more party streamers are in effect?

    Very simple.

I use every type of offering for bp that I have.

If i use partystreamers doesn't mean I want to farm, I just want a few extra bp and a fun match instead of boringly trying to get the max BP possible.

It's not something I play the game for, if I want to really farm I'll play some farming simulator.

Okay, having read this, I've come to the conclusion that survivors just want a sweatmaster-5000 to play against instead of someone trying to be chill and have fun. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Everyone has their own way of having fun.

And don't get me wrong here I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but the problem with farming is that they do it a lot.

Meaning they get into ranks they are not ready for.

For example say you play at lets say rank 13, you managed to find many people who want to farm (which there are) and you keep ranking up.

Then all of a sudden you get people who don't want to farm and you decide to play normal then.

You get little amount of hooks, stunned and looped a lot.

Now if that happens to me (which happened more than I like), I don't have fun because you're not a challenge for me.

I love the trill of the possibility to get downed, and if I know tiles well and you don't know how to counter it well, then it's gonna be a difficult match for you and pretty boring for me.

And I'm very sure that it's not fun for you too.

That is the biggest problem I have with farming.

Cause as killer I don't want to bulldoze over the survivors and as survivor I don't want to run around the map without having to worry about going down.

  • @BenihimeWrath said:

I'm just trying to chill as ghostface and farm a stupid amount of BP to get the build I want on nemesis. (Already 1m bp dry on any good perks.) I'm literally only running BBQ, y u no farm?

If you're on console then message them immediately so they can still skip the lobby if they don't want to.

On pc I have no idea how to let them know.

But farming is braindead boring af.

I always skip those lobbies when the killer message me to farm.

If they sent a message and immediately start the match so I can't leave then, we'll good luck cause I'm gonna slam those gens as fast as possible and get out.

And big change the other 3 survivors will do the exact same.

Just play the game normally and you'll get the perks you want.

I dono man. The amount of people that rushed to throw money at bhvr for the new cosmetics says everyone is perfectly happy with the broken buggy mess we are playing.

And that is why i personally don't buy anything with real money anymore.

Once they finally understand they can't release broken things and actually do proper test before releasing anything, then they can get some of my money.

Sure I understand that there will always "some" issues with new patches and dlc, every game has that, but bhvr takes the crown in the amount of bugs they bring with every new update.

I play the game whenever I can which is not that much anymore at this time, but they won't get my money for the time being.

And my suggestion is that everyone who is fed up with their way of developing to do the exact same thing.

Play a match of solo survivor and you will realize just how formidable and overpowered the killer is. Survivors stand no chance against killers running a multitude of regression perks that allow them to exert map pressure effortlessly. Many killers have powers that make pallets and windows worthless, broken add-ons that amplify their powers by astronomical proportions.

When the killer has such a ridiculous advantage, why should they still be allowed to exploit camping/tunneling/slugging? The killer makes the game incredibly difficult for survivors as is, they should not be able to prevent us from playing the game even more. Camping/tunneling/slugging are unfair tactics, very unsportsmanlike and worthy of punishment.

🤣 As funny as it is I have to agree with you.

The killer has such an incredible advantage over a solo survivor, and this is true there's no denying that.

But once you finally hit red ranks or even purple ranks, you will notice that survivor in this game is ridiculously easy to play no matter against what killer.

Been in red ranks for so long on both sides as solo that I run no mither builds (without iron will) or even perkless and still have an easy time doing that.

I even stopt using items entirely (except for rift challenges), not even running a medkit and not even use healing perks.

So once you finally get into purple ranks at least on both sides, that come back with an unbiased conclusion.

Cause there is no way you are already there unless you've been boosted to it, which explains why you have that mindset that solo survivor is practically impossible to play.

I do know how you meant it, but unfortunately how you meant it doesn't matter in the end. If you behave in a way that the mods deem unacceptable, you're liable to get banned. I don't want to see anyone get banned over this, that would just add extra negativity to an already negative situation, so I was just trying to let you know that even if your heart is in the right place (and I believe it is), you shouldn't take things far enough to make things even worse for yourself.

I'll say again that all of you guys are right. All of you who are upset with what's going on have every right to be. I just wish for everyone to relax a little and not let emotions blow the place up. Maybe it's the former moderator in me, I don't know. I just don't like seeing a community get so bent out of shape even if it IS for understandable reasons.

Neither would I like to see that, but you gotta remember that it's been building up for everyone for a long time now.

They barely test their own product before putting it to live and thus we get all this crap with practically every new patch or dlc.

I won't even be surprised if the only testing that they do is only the ptb.

Sure you get some stuff out of there, but with their spaghetti codes it's likely they create other problems.

I've been around since the start from console release and been watching it from pc release, and it's becoming worse every time.

I've calling that they should dedicate 1 chapter to a QOL.

But they are to arrogant thinking that they are capable of doing new content and QOL which they clearly can't

Not to be nitpicky but this needs to be said because most people misunderstand it:

The concept of "freedom of speech", while varying between countries, generally means protection from the government making laws that restrict your right to express yourself (for example you can't be imprisoned for saying that you hate the president or worship Satan, etc). This not only has limits - you are NOT legally allowed to make violent or terroristic threats, for example - but it does not extend to private venues like this forum. This forum has its own rules and you and I and anyone else can be banned for whatever reason they see fit. Freedom of speech is not freedom to say whatever you want, wherever you want without consequences, it's the freedom to speak and share opinions without fear of your government arresting you for it.

Yeah I know, but you know how I meant it.

I don't make any scary treats or anything and just speaking my opinion.

And if they have a problem with it they can always talk to me about it or warn me about it.

But yeah they can do whatever they like which they have shown multiple times already.

And I'm not here to rally the community up against them, only to make a statement with everyone.

Cause that is the only way to get trough to them.

Careful. People have been banned from the forums for even hinting at this.

If they want to ban me for mentioning this than there is no stopping them any way.

As far as I know, we live in a free world and are allowed to express our concerns.

If that has to come to by not spending anymore money on the game till they get their sh1t together, that that's the way it has to be.

If they start banning people for telling them to fix their game before the community is spending money again, then they just show that they are like dictators where you can't tell the ugly truth.

And yes I remember that there was a certain coconut guy who got banned for telling the truth, it just shows how it works here.

We can't even have an exciting new chapter release without it being overshadowed and plagued by bugs, glitches, disabled maps, server crashes and cosmetic scams. This is a nightmare for the community and the overwhelming amount of new players coming in. They deserve better than this, yeah the content is exciting to attract new players to the game. But BHVR, how in the Hell do you expect to retain those players let alone keep your veterans if you can't even have a successful launch of a chapter anymore? This is the buggiest chapter for a license I have ever seen. I am on PS4 and I can't even play your game. New players are having a horrible first impression of the game. This entire chapter is a nightmare and BHVR you should be ashamed. I praise you when you do things right but you deserve a lot of criticism when it's warranted. Right now it's more warranted than ever, get your act together. The Dead By Daylight Community deserves better than this.

That is why I am not gonna put in real money in this game any more.

Let them sort their sh1t out for once and then I'll consider if I'm gonna spend some real money on their game again.

And honestly imo the whole community should do the same, hit them where it hurts.

They became a freaking money grabbing ........... (insert anything you like), and they won't change unless we as a community stand up against their incompetence.

  • @tippy2k2 said:

I don't know a nice way to say this to BHVR but...

How many times have we heard that same line? Again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again...

Presumably they will do what they always do; just enough to make the game at least quasi-playable (at least on newer consoles and higher end PCs, sucks to be you still last gen peeps) and then go back to figuring out how much more they can charge for a new skin.

    This.

    Exactly this.

Everytime they mess things up, sure it is to expected that there is a possibility for bugs.

But they keep creating new as well as old bugs in new patches.

This has mainly to do with the fact they refuse to do QOL.

Sure they say they are able to push out new content and do QOL at the same time.

But i wonder what it need to take before they get their heads out of their butt's and realise they are not capable of doing that.

If they dedicate 1 chapter to a QOL than they will set themselves up for a better future for the game and a lot less bugs with new chapters.

But their ignorance will prevent them from seeing it and doing it

  • Could be.

Tbh I don't know anything about the previous patch as I've been away from dbd for about 4 months and just started playing again on the 13th.

But ever since I came back I noticed the amount of lag has increased since I last played.

Like sure you noticed something sometime, but not as much as I noticed this week.
