I’ll take that 12k please.
Would you rather bring in a Med kit or Toolbox?

Yeah, why ? just why ? I'd like to play the game, i'm not the one who bullied you last game or in highschool, let us play the game
Why? Had nothing to do with any of you survivors. I’ve just P3 maxed out my first character (with all perks) and now the only thing to get on my bloodweb is Mori and a few favorite add ons. I’ve been sweating pretty hard since Deathslinger came out and now I could have a chill day and just go in knowing that I had way more control over the match then usual and I was gunna have a day where I did not get bullied~
Felt pretty good, I mean I’m over it right now but...will do again. Also I dunno what to spend BP on right now. I finally have a killer to main and I play killer 80% of the time so...dunno just collecting Moris :D

Yes, change the game to 4v4 survivor only please. Give them guns and stuff.
4v4 with guns and stuff? Bro, if they kill each other then they become a killer themselves <_<
-
Yeah, I’ll be honest, I bought him for the OP perk and felt very slighted that they nerfed it. To be honest my Ash lvl 35. I was so close to experimenting with the perk that was ruining my killer fun, but then poof, I wasted my money.
-
If I’m interpreting this correctly, he needs the killers to be removed so he can finally resist/stop playing killer. Well...who knows, maybe the Devs will eventually make NPC killers, when the game is nearing its end.

keep in mind that this idea also comes with it's downsides. especially teaming.
there's already enough cases of survivors teaming with killers right now in the game. and with this system being implemented. you can expect 40-60% of every " swf " to be teaming. and you can imagine how bad it'll be for the game.
IMO. it's sure a good idea. and I see where you're coming from. but it's extremely difficult to be implemented to DBD. and even if enough people asked for it. it'll still take years for the devs to do it.
Oh yeah, don’t get me wrong. I’m never expecting this to be implemented into DbD, but I never played F13 but I’m playing Predator beta and it’s introduced me to this concept. I went into wanting only to play the Fireteam but occasionally I’m chosen to play predator and Im experiencing that ‘special’ feeling Thrawn was talking about. When it comes to DbD, I like being a killer main but when I think of ‘what could have been’ scenario, I couldn’t help but want to talk about it.
I think the game could have evolved a lil more quickly and cleanly if everyone was in more similar situations. Then again, with most of us putting in survivor time over killer time, I wonder how quickly killers would haven been out classed and unable to adjust. For all we know, the game could be dead by now had they implemented it this way originally~
Still fun to think about.

Coldwind any day. I would not mind it at all.
Would you rather have Pyramid head or Pinhead as the next killer?
Wow, very tough choice. I like Pinhead a lot cinematically but Pyramid head sure scared my young gaming heart. I think Pinhead would have been my choice before Deathslinger came out but now I’d rather see Pyramid Head.
(Honestly afraid what he might do to the survivors though :P)
So...Would you rather cleanse 5 totems or pop 3 gens?

Killer against semi-coordinated swf.
Would you rather only be able to play indoor maps as Huntress but triple bp or be free to play any map but only receive half bp?
Indoor map with Huntress. I feel like If it was consistent map then I could learn it very well and eventually do well, and I need my BP.
Would you rather Kill a Nancy and let Steve go or kill Steve and let Nancy go?
-
I feel, among killers, Pig gets the most leeway when it comes to survivor hate and complaining. She isn’t too overpowered, her kit forces a new objective that is ‘different’ then the same old same old, and she has some cute memes like boop the snoot.
-
I’ve use Mori in my last 5 games. The biggest heartbreak was when I played a game where 2 survivors popped bloody streamers and I slugged the whole team before first gen popped. The heartbreaking part was that I couldn’t Mori anyone :(
-
Doesn’t bother me none, appreciate the work you do, just afraid a portion of this entitled toxic community will say “but that’s not fair, what about meeeeeee, I also work and it’s just as important. I mean I stocked the shelves, without me you wouldn’t have food to find”. Or something along those lines.
:P
-
Hella hella hella
As a killer main, I feel the pain of a SWF team and it usually detriments my build, because I’m a sucker for RNG Hex builds, and I’d rather play solo (no mics) because that’s how the game was meant to be played.
As a guy with a few friends who still play occasionally, I do enjoy playing with them and sharing the salt or hearing them screaming, when caught off guard. I get why ppl would want to enjoy DbD and communicate while they play, the devs just dropped the ball on how they built the game.
I just wish the survivors wouldn’t act like they are not cheating. I still firmly believe that they have an unfair advantage. It would be like if they added a 2 killer v 4 survivor mode but the extra killer was an Accomplice and couldn’t injure a survivor, just had the tools to spy and relay that info to the killer. Now the killer knows where you are and what your doing most of the game.
Gimme the same info gathering power as 4 survivors and I could have a much easier time killing survivors~
-
Um...I’m not a genius or nothing but...it’s not like you have to separate the que for each game mode. You ready up and get a 50/50 on the two game modes. If you create something worth playing, people will accept it or get use to it.
what? You think people will DC or kill themselves if they get in a game mode they do not like? Uhhh yeah, kind of like people being in a map they dont like, a killer they don’t like, or an add on they don’t like and already do the same.
Other games don’t always separate everything, they do grab bag modes and we gamers leave it up to fate and celebrate when we get what we’re hoping for and clench our teeth and power through the modes were less excited about~

I’m on my way...

I think he is just bad at math, imma give him the benefit of the doubt and not consider him obnoxiously entitled.

-
Also just tweeted that new skin, looks pretty sick.
-
Yeah same here, I didn’t notice anything. I’m excited though. Hope it’s true
-
I play more killer and mostly I only pick up survivor for bp challenge or to play with this one friend who still plays DbD occasionally. When I’m solo, I usually die. Partly because I’m not representing my rank of 12-10 very well and get paired up with survivors who don’t have my level of experience or game knowledge so they often fail to make timely saves, fail to work gens when others are taking the killers attention, and fail to loop for very long. The other part is my lack of perks/items. I spend all my bp on killers so my lvl 50 P3 Feng is basically running what she starts with and the perks provided without being a teachable. Also used all my items up already. Feels bad man, really would like to someday experience being a dead hard gamer or using others teachables some day.
-
Well, personally I think BHVR needs to make more subtle nods towards how everyone ‘wants’ the game to go and perks to encourage that. Like a bonus bp to killers for hooking (all survivors). Either a 1 time bonus for every time it happens or a bp bonus that builds as you play and maxes out when you 3 hook every survivor. More reason to encourage killers not to care so much about the tunnel or kill and try to spread the hooks out when possible.
Maybe not make the killer feel bad by having a bad game or letting all survivors escape. ENTITY DISPLEASED. Half the time I feel like the Entity is my mother and I’ve let her down by playing too fair, so I feel it’s more necessary to secure a kill (camp/tunnel) just to please the Entity.
You could add a new survivor perk that could rival ‘were gunna live forever’. I think survivors really need a new perk that grants stacks like (BBQ) and up to 100% bonus blood points. Personally, I think a portion of solo survivors are having a bad time because they are all trying to fight for the unhook and the killer really has no reason not to stay near the hooked survivor and play hook, rinse, repeat till the survivor is dead and the game becomes killer sided.
If say, you got stacks for healing complete health states (All perk related healing and mednkits/add ons are debatable but I’d suggest self care didn’t stack) then it would encourage survivors to heal/work together and slow down the game. So now we could reward altruistic plays and healers, hopefully splitting the desire of certain survivor roles and not having everyone mad dash to the hooked survivor or farm the randoms.
I’d also be down for the same idea but for completing a complete generator. I mean gen jockeys are also a thing and a necessary part of a team when things are looking bad. Sometimes it’s the gen jockey who keeps the killer pressured when the other three are saving/healing/distracting/hanging and why not also give them a perk that takes up a slot but rewards them BP for working gens.
My point is, we can point fingers at the community all we want but at the end of the day, most of us are just trying to work out the bp grind and BHVR has offered only 2 perks that really help with that. BBQ is great for killers because it rewards the killer for not tunneling 1 survivor to death by at least securing 1 hook for each survivor before anything else. Me with BBQ and without will change my mindset in the game. I never feel like a loser, If I snagged a load of BP, even if every1 escapes.
We’re gunna live forever also encourages survivors to save each other and try to help save each other in mid chases and take hits or aggro. This is great BUT not if every survivor is trying to do the same thing. Survivors need a more group mentality and to be the most effective team by having different roles as their main objective. Less reward for being a team healer or gen jockey right now, better to be the crazy guy mad dashing to every chase and hook to score more bp.
Just saying BHVR. Simply reward the killer and survivor playstyles that you feel will make the game more healthy. People will still be toxic but many others would be more tolerable to the negative aspects of this game if it helped with the grind. I’d ignore a near death Jake for a never hooked before Nancy (giving up my chance to swing the game in my favor, if it meant I could secure a bp bonus despite what happens afterwards), in a heart beat.
-
I will admit that in my inexperience as A Killer, I relied too heavily on camping and tunneling and as I got better, I could start to adapt to survivor rulebooks to get more bp and have a decent time with everyone but the toxic survivor community of harassing killers after the game was what broke me. Being forced to cut off communication with the gaming community, so I’m not harassed, is a sad reality about my time with DbD. Now I flipped my mindset on how I play with survivors and unless I see they are very potato or I feel bad because my advantage is much too strong, I’ll normally tunnel or camp just because it feels good. Go ahead and get salty and try to message me now (aww you can’t lol)
-
I think he’s adorable ~
-
I leaned away from Hag because I didn’t like her aesthetically, old small granny wasn’t my thing but then they added the Snake Charmer skin and I started to play a ton of Hag, for a good month or two.
I basically main Deathslinger but a small part of me wants to go back to Hag. I’ve grown to love her once I was willing to look at her~
-
Survivor perk that stacks like Gearhead but the opposite. So, on a Survivors 2nd hit it would activate. The perk doesn’t activate if survivor is put into downed state. The perk resets if put into downed state or hooked.
Survivors are rewarded for surviving an encounter with killer and healing up without being downed or hooked.
Perk Exhausts the survivor upon activation.
As far as what the perk does? I wanted another mid chase exhaustion perk to rival Dead Hard. Sprint Burst is mainly used for early chase and Lilthe and Balance are situational. So once activated this perk takes the damaged boost you receive and extends it.
This exhaustion perk is meant to put some pressure on killers who are better at juggling and less effective to those that complete chases. Upon activation it will help a survivor prolong a chase or escape a chase and any perk that encourages a survivor to heal can also be beneficial to killers who need in game slowdown.
I don’t think this perk will be considered too strong because some killers can down using special abilities, some killers can use speed or teleportation to catch up to the injured survivor regardless and some killers do not mind you escaping because they will just juggle. Simple, slightly weak but could have strong moments and could pair well with insta med kits or For the People. Personally, I like to heal and dead hard is a bit more reliable for experienced and knowledgeable survivors who can use it to escape unscathed. I’d rather have a mid chase perk that activated its self at the cost of me working a lil harder to prep it.
-
Third seal is a hex...it’s not that hard to get rid of. If your having a problem with slug builds then you might wanna consider Unbreakable as your survivor second chance perk.
Slug builds are strong right now and some people really became dedicated to it. It’s the best way for a killer to gain control and keep momentum, hands down. Only killers who need bp will play by the survivor hand book and BHVR point system. The rest will slug.
-
I always assume they are running that one perk, We’re gunna live forever, and want to get another protection stack by taking a hit while near another survivor. You hitting them is giving them an extra 25% bp.
If it’s game over, then I don’t hit them and let EGC push them out. If someone is alone at the gate, I’ve got no problem hitting them out.
-
Many ppl have talked this topic to death and you didn’t exactly provide a unique or new idea to get the discussion going another round. I suggest just looking through the topics or searching key words like gen speed and you can find plenty of different and unique ideas that could fix the problem. Not really something the community can fix at this point, ideas have been said.
-
These topics remind me about that ‘certain play style’, in every game, that certain people of a community seriously hate on, but are not actually any more terrible then the other perks/strategies in this game.
Like watching the aggressive attackers verbally fighting it out against the slow methodical campers, in a shooting game.
Its a strat. Don’t like it, don’t do it. Don’t want to risk running into it, stop playing. Wanna be prepared for it, run the perks meant to specifically hurt that strat.
Honestly I rather have the face camper do his thing then having to worry about a killer disrupting me and my wonderful M1 gameplay.
Also this game was free for a time on ps4 so...some people never paid money for this game.

If you play Deathslinger then you haven't gotten me at all. I haven't died to a single deathslinger yet.
It’s a in general response man, not directed at you personally. I doubt we’re even on the same system. If we do run into each other one day, then you can consider me the first Deathslinger to get you, I guess. 🤷🏻

I don't really get camped or tunneled if the killer is having a bad game, it's rather if I have ran him for an extended period of time or if I've 360d him a lot (every Myers, Clown, LF, Wraith, Freddy, and Doctor I've literally ever faced). But for the most part, killers camp and tunnel if they're having a bad game or if you pose a threat. Unless it's a Leatherface. They'll camp just because they know they won't get a kill otherwise.
Yeah, I’m a Killer like this. If a survivor is obviously more skilled and knowledgeable then me and basically single handily made me give up 2-3 gens early. Meh, might as well turn this game around with a lol self satisfying camp session. I like punching a survivor hanging on a hook over and over again.
I feel better, your team feels good about the easy M1 skill win and you get to die knowing that your actions lead to a team victory. (I still killed you though heh heh heeeh)
-
I don’t normally camp (as in bring a build for it but I can get a salty camp in once in awhile) but I think from the killers perspective that he won even if the other three escaped. His goal was to find hook and kill one survivor. Everyone else would be a bonus, also only all four escaping would be a loss (to him).
The game adds all these fancy ways to try and convince killer he needs to do this or that to appease survivors and survivors wanna make up what is considered (a win) that suites them best but IMO most survivors who get camped to death are not happy about it. Which was the killers goal. Props to the survivor that can take a camp and be happy because it means his team will make the gens fly and get out safety but I never see it. Just salt and grief.
Killer is smiling and gloating while you do those gens. If he really cared for the other three survivors then he wouldn’t camp in the first place. I promise you he is having the most fun and considers it a ‘win’ lol.
-
- I hate when survivors gather and chase after me or pop gens in front of me even though I’m smacking them (like...you know I’m the killer right? Could you pretend to be scared and run away, jeez)
- that trick where it looks like they are gunna circle the loop one more time but teleport back to slam my head. How the hell can your arms bend that way you psycho.
- first hook suicide because I found you (Blendette) and you and your magical black skin and dark clothing couldn’t protect you.
- Shirtless David distracting me all match. I get it dood, your ripped. Just move aside while I chase after the small defenseless woman.
- Every Dwight I find hiding behind a tree or tire, ESPECIALLY when it’s near a Locker. Bro, you have a meme and you must live and die by it.
- Lastly, every survivor that points at something mid chase and I TRUST YOU but only to find that YOU HAVE BETRAYED ME. Why do you lie?
-
The answer is me, It’s always me.

Not awful just a perk for the unskilled who can't get kills any other way. I run detective's and make it my mission to destroy every totem on the map. So pleasing to wipe up all the totems and the killer have noed.
I get your just baiting me, seeing your name, your comment on your constant bans and how your treating others personal experiences and decreeing them untrue or wrong...but I’ll bite anyway.
NOED is no more for the unskilled as DS is for survivors. Oh you couldn’t escape the killer? Guess your bad. What? Killer would tunnel you to death if you didn’t have it? Learn to git gud lol.
Late game perks are fun, in my experience (which you’ll probably disregard) if I challenge or beat the survivors too hard/early they all first hook suicide like lil babies so...
-
I run NOED since the Ruin nerf. The salt is heavy when the survivors are healthy happy and butt dancing around me and SUDDENLY 1 hit downs galore. God damn, I never get tired of them acting like NOED is an awful and unfair perk, especially when they are all running DS. :D

What does it mean when you're jailed? You can still comment, so is it a warning, or maybe a cosmetic?
WARNING LEVEL 3
You are jailed.
- Can't post discussions.
- Can't post as often.
- Signature hidden.
Makes me wait like 2 and a half mins between posts and I can’t start a topic.
-
I thought the answer was base speed. You want pig and legion to proc perks when using a killer power then make them 110% base speed. Likewise if you wanna take that power away from huntress or Deathslinger then make them 115%
-
Proc is like ‘setting it off’ but I don’t understand the mindset of a killer setting of spies. Killers wouldn’t use it if walking around would proc a bird emoticon next to their face.
survivors set it off only I think

Oh dang. Deathslinger is in jail. Time for a nerf I guess?
Well that’s why they jailed me in the first place, Survivors said I was too OP 🤷🏻♂️
-
I found this toxic.
-
I think it’s with the mindset of just booting up the game for the first time. Killers with insta down abilities are usually referred Easy. M1 killers are intermediate and any killers with difficult to understand abilities are Hard. If I just booted the game and picked Doctor then I’d prolly be confused and upset that hitting them with my power does nothing (from a noob perspective) but using a chainsaw is simple to understand.
-
Always feel some opinions here are on a disconnect because we play on different systems. Take Nurse (prior to nerf) she was apparently a common threat to pc people that some killers found boring to play because she was ‘easy mode’ but down here in the land of console I barely see her or felt threatened.
I feel Deathslinger opinions shift drastically between pc and console, so much so that I feel people should reveal what they play on prior to giving a opinion on him.
-
I think playing killer comes in three stages.
1: Obsessive - you realize your goal or job is to kill but you don’t have the necessary experience, skills, knowledge to exceed at it so you change your goal of killing all four to just killing one and you naturally camp and tunnel.
2: Directive - You now know enough and are skilled enough to compete and realize the best thing to do to now snowball a situation in your favor is to make it a 3man game instead of four and will now purposely camp and tunnel one to death to gain an advantage.
3: Confident - You no longer feel the need to have an advantage because you know effectively how to pressure, how to fight against loops and know the various tactics to handle the most common and brutal tactics afforded to survivors and will only camp and tunnel when you deem it necessary.
I absolutely camped as I learned, I didn’t understand any thing other then my main objective was to kill and if at least one didn’t die that I felt I was letting the game down for both sides. Since I was not being the threat I felt I was suppose to be. Then I realized what I’d been doing wrong, why some perks were weaker compared to others, learned to juggle or slug and slowly got comfortable with leaving people to apply pressure, even though it feels easier and reliable to camp and tunnel. Biggest thing to help alleviate the mindset of camping and tunneling was to change my goal. For me, If I get all 4 stacks of bbq n chili, then I win. Go run and dance like little monkeys all you want, no matter how much do or if you escape, 9 times out of ten I’ll be leaving with a ton more BP every game and that always makes me feel better~
-
I really suffered after the change but I’m slowly getting better. Still feel I was doing better prior to this hotfix. I’ll keep using him but I wish they wouldn’t change something so important to this killer on the fly like this. I feel like I’m going to get better with this but they will change it again and it bums me out.
-
Well, as long as survivors like to be toxic SWF bullies, I kind of want to keep my option to calmly watch them bleed, as I wash off my salty wounds and wipe off my sweaty body.
Must you even take away my moments of peace :(
-
Oof, things that can not be unseen. Thanks~
-
Maybe burning coins will give you a chest and an extra bulb for end game. Nice idea but I hope killer can still open door without bulb, in case he has given up and doesn’t want to be taken hostage~
-
I’ve had to block messages on ps4. Then they send Friend requests with hate so now I turn off friend requests, then they group spam me invites to their party chat, so gotta turn off party chat.
Im waiting till they start texting my phone before I have to hide my profile because they’ve taken clues and spent 15 mins figuring out who I am, where I live and personal info, just to tell me I’m a ######### killer who needs to hit gud.
Seriously holy fk.
-
Learn how to DDDDOOOOOOODDDDGGEE!!!
-
Recently I’ve been forcing survivors to dance with me with my big charge/quick pull chain. Hit em, reel him till we’re face to face and then we twirl.
YOU WILL DANCE WITH ME SURVIVORS!
