  • Yeah, trying to spit on survivors is fun when they can jitter around and spasm into my stomach where I can’t spew. Also gotta love those screams of sickness with...no sickness added.

  • I dunno, I closed my DbD app twice today, once when they burned for Ormonds and the other when they last second changed to key. Neither tine had penalty. Maybe I just was quick enough to not count as a game since we never loaded in completely, or maybe it’s off again.

  • I remember the guy making the paintball joke topic because Huntress has just been throwing red paint at everybody. That’s when I found out.

  • Nosy Neighbor

    • Blood Pact
    • Aftercare
    • Kindred
    • Your fav exhaustion or heal perk

An a Medkit. If you or obsession are hurt, you got someone to watch with Aftercare. If your on a hook, you can see everyone with Kindred, if you interact with others in unhooks or heals, you got eyes with Aftercare.

Focuses on the three perks that allows you to see people, even when they all the way across the map.

Warning: people watching in DbD is not for the feint of heart and may result in random outbursts of rage or bloody noses.

  • Nice, I love free bp. Thanks BHVR

  • I feel like it could use a secondary use just to top it off. Nothing major, maybe while on the generator you can now also see other survivors within the 32 meters as well. Still matches the Visionary type perk.

  • I’m not touching him till he learns to be a big boy trapper.

  • That’s good, but I only watched his YT vids, including the Shrine Watch series every week. I would have liked to see him continue that.

  • Not everyone has it. I keep barely missing Dead Hard. I know it’s worth but I keep missing it because I’m taking a break, playing a new game that week, or don’t have the shards.

Im sure someone will appreciate this reminder.

    Edit: I miss HybridPanda

  • Even if they take away my Redeemer, I’m still a threat, I’ll just copy what other killers do.

    • I could spit on you
    • hit you with a chainsaw (that I’ll borrow)
    • go invisible (by closing my eyes)
    • put you to sleep (by choking you out)
    • throw a hatchet (I’ve seen them in those lockers)
    • Power my Oni Rage
    • Start traveling in the Upside Down
    • Stalk you till I unlock my inner Evil
    • Learn the Power of Curses
    • Electro-shock you into madness

    or

    • start warping in and out of existence screaming...
  • My brother plays League of Legends only and uses this term. Basically means anybody who doesn’t play solo I think.

This guy just wants to game with similar people and sounds like he could only find a younger crowd to play DbD with and was rejected or something.

  • Clickers are harmless and useless. I consider them pets who follow me around begging for attention from its master. Sad, pathetic creatures, but I owe them a many 4K or disconnect.

If gen tapping made a clicking sound that would probably get me. DONT TOUCH MY BABIES!

  • If you wanna know how BS it is to run NOED, change DS so that you cannot use it till all gens are completed and if the Killer downs the obsession then it deactivates the ability from being used by all survivors.

Now you will understand how situational, weak, and stupid it is to run this perk, without a corresponding end-game build to try and patch up some things f it’s bullshit.

Unpopular opinion: It never needed to be a Hex. Survivors should at least be afraid at some point in the game, why not when the doors are open. GTFO if you don’t want to be insta-downed.

  • Thanks I hate it.

(And I don’t even relate since I’m console lol)

I don't think you're getting it. Okay so let's say Mike is a total A-hole and is running this new perk. I head in for a save and right as I go to unhook him hear the killer, 32 meters away so I make the save and then turn and eat a hit for Mike, now I'm injured and Mike has time to run away. Except he doesn't, he stands in that same spot until the killer hits him KNOWING that I will get downed not him. Then as the killer wipes his weapon Mike has time to run away.

Then A-hole Mike got away in your scenario and he was the one just unhooked. Wasn’t that the goal of the perk? If you can’t communicate with each other because your not SWF friends then miscommunication happens. He might be A-hole Mike to you but to him, your A-home John who just made a unsafe hook.

Again, I got what you said, your harping on the Troll potential. I’m saying it’s as intended.

Almost a reverse BT, interest. But what about if I hook someone at the edge of terror and they run at the killer? Whether they’re being stupid or trolling I get penalized. Even worse I unhook then, take a protective hug and then they run at the killer... do I go down?

The person on hook has to run this perk, not the savior. They wouldn’t run the perk without having a basic understanding on how it works. If they don’t wanna troll you or hurt the team then they will not abuse the perk and would not do BT strats and run at killer. If you take a safety hit and some how the killer still had enough time to track and tunnel the survivor down, before the perk deactivated, then yeah, you would hit the dirt. Except your on the ground where the killer wouldn’t immediately know, and could potentially be picked up or pick yourself up, unlike if the tunneled survivor went down.

If your concerned about the troll potential, it’s 100% there, as intended. Meant to be able to troll back against any troll/farm tactics your team has against you. It can be used both ways, just like other perks already in game.

  • I’m sorry, didn’t mean to serve you those harsh browns. At the very least, I’ll stop posting about how awesome I am and how I have no counter play.

  • It did stop, can you stop?

Maybe if we make a FNAF chapter this can all be forgotten~

  • Survivor-

Forced Focus: If a survivor is within 4/6/8 meters of a Killer when they down another Survivor, Forced Focus triggers and prevents the downed survivor from being picked up (by the killer) for 30 seconds. Upon activation, the survivor is broken for 30 seconds.

This perk is meant for saving those who are getting tunneled out and meant to encourage a killer to chase someone else.

    Killer-

Got My Eye Out: Placing a Survivor into the injured state will reveal the aura of the survivor furthest away from you for Four seconds.

Just a simple tracking perk that doesn’t proc at the most opportune moment but gives you a general idea of what is happening away from you. No cooldowns or tokens please. It really isn’t that strong and the pay off for breaking a chase to get to the furthest survivor isn’t ideal. This can mostly be beneficial to fast traversing killers or killers at end game who want to try and 4k. It’s much easier to find and injure a healthy survivor and locate the other. Easier to find a injured survivor. If they heal while you injure other, then it procs again and you repeat~

  • Must be nice for console survivors and PC but it feels pretty rough as a console Killer. I tend to go back and forth turning it on and off. In my head, PS4 only mode is now my safe space and I turn it on when I feel awake, undistracted, took a shower, put on pants, and I’m looking for a uphill fight.

  • I haven’t enjoyed Trapper since I picked up killer in my noob days. I use to think he was the best thing ever, but then I got experience and went up rank to the experienced survivors and they disarmed everything I tried. A broken trap broke my heart back in the day.

I hope to pick him back up one day, I was low key hoping he’d get more buffs or a rework. He is the OG killer right? You’d think they would take better care of him.

  • You could just do what you normally do BHVR. Make a new perk. Whenever you are unhooked, if you are hit within a certain amount of seconds then the damage is mitigated to the rescuer instead.

Survivors will start rethinking unhook bombings if they are punished for it, and solo players who run it can protect themselves from 3 man groups who use the forth as a funny farm gag.

    Just a thought~

  • It’ll never happen, but every birthday I make the same wish, because I can’t face tomorrow without hope. Please, please change her outfit to hot glossy bright pink.

  • Well, I have Steve but I’m not a survivor main so I only briefly used these perks when getting adept.

From my perspective, they each look decent to me. One lets you live longer on hook, one lets you try to guarantee aggro after save and one gives you a health state.

To me, the 2 real problems is

    A) Lack of information. Those who play solo or with a friend are not gunna be able to easily express that you have Camaraderie to your team. Should be some way to notify other survivors, that way even the chased survivor could swing by and extend time, or others would know to drop by a face camping killer to make his wait longer.

    B) None of these perks are as necessary as the meta. People use what’s reliable and necessary. These perks look fun but can be situational or countered. For instance if Babysitter was more meta then tunnel heavy killers would know to ignore the yellow survivor ect ect.

I don’t think buffing will make things much better.

  • I’ve not liked it, the key spike was very noticeable and more last second character switch. More organized teams too, I’ve never faced a legit Sabo Squad before, but I sure have now.

That being said, I’ll keep it on because it is amusing watching survivors moon walk.

  • Yeah, I suggested this too, so that solo survivors could make builds around each other, like you don’t need 3 people trying to run healer ect ect.

Every1 shot it down and the crutch of the problem is Toxic Survivors are Toxic.

    Damn shame~

  • I’m a Killer main and your opinion seemed legit. It is completely an allowable play style and also the easiest way the killer can win. Nor is it an enjoyable experience for the survivors. If he enjoys doing it, then he should continue to do so but it’s ridiculous to be expected to be respected or praised for such a lackluster play style.

We all feel differently about the different styles, going both ways. I particularly hate sabo squads.

  • As a killer main, I use to befriend or acknowledge a locker snitch, but then too many lied to me and made me feel bad for trusting.

If you want to befriend me now, you gotta open a locker with a survivor inside, over and over again (locking them inside) and waiting for me to notice and arrive. You’ll be cool in my book and I’ll ignore you for the rest of the game and follow you if you motion me to do so. All of this is negated if your Claudette though, they gotta die.

I think playing DbD has given me more racist thoughts then life ever did. I hate black people in DbD.

  • Any accumulated Tokens on Hex Perks are reset with the transfer.

Perk says ‘reset’ so I guess zero.

  • Well, this has certainly given me much to think about, thanks for the replies.

People who use iri hear with belt deserve to go vs 4 man swf every single time.

    Just my opinion.

They probably did and got bullied so went in ‘expecting’ another SWF. Separate or show killers who is and isn’t SWF and we can respond accordingly lol...

I remember that someone earlier made a thread on how to increase FPS on PS4 and PS4 Pro and I wish I could find it to see if you'd commented on it already. Basically you can change your resolution to 720p instead of 1080p, and do something else that I can't completely remember, to give a smooth 20-30fps, sometimes even hitting 40, instead of going into a Powerpoint Presentation whenever you breathe in the wrong way.

    @BigSpinners said:

So as a console player it is really frustrating to play on low frames. However I may have found a solution. To increase frames on the PS4 go to sound and screen and put your resolution down to 720p. This may decrease image quality slightly but will help the game run better. You can also turn off supersampling mode but I'm not quite sure if thats a pro only feature. Enabling boost mode on the pro will also boost performance.

I have taken all these steps and it has been running smoothly since. Hope it can help my fellow PS4 players enjoy the game as smooth as possible.

Edit: Here was the post above. Here is the link

  • If your gunna recolor then do the one with maggots.

  • You guys talking about Lullaby? Lol

  • What would I suggest? Well assuming we don’t want to extend or change the game too much...

just add another 1-2 more early game killer perks. BHVR seems to love following the meta trend and giving it an odd impromptu fix by adding a perk specifically targeting the problem (instead of addressing it lol).

Make a Hex perk that decreases in power as gens pop and make that power something that notifies a killer if a generator has been worked on for any certain amount of time. That means survivors which are cursed will have to assume this hex might be in play and have to find it or periodically let go of gen. Giving room for a combo with surveillance. If that’s too strong then say that working on a gen with more then one survivor will negate the effect but now it combos with Discordance.

The other perk could be like those add ons that give you a vague understanding of a gens progress. Just make it a perk. Like, for a period of time, after doing a specific action, you can see gen progression.

2 perks that can help fight off gen speed.

  • My life is different now...

  • I will tunnel you, so if you want my aggro, come at me.

  • Listen, I have a bad leg and chasing is hard on me. Cripple yourself before the chase begins and I promise not to shoot you. I’m just trying to kill you...I don’t know why everyone is making a big deal out of this today.

    Heh Heh Heeeeh.

  • Well, I don’t think I’m in a bad spot, but I’m a Killer main so...

But I did read through and someone suggested that the killer shouldn’t be overpowered in the 1v1 and should be compensated with a secondary type of movement speed. It’s already been talked and suggested but...

As far as making the chase/mind game more balanced. You simply have to add another layer of choice. Deathslinger players do not want to deal with the wind up of a huntress and the forced reload slowdown and survivors want something to battle. So you just add a wind up time to Deathslinger BUT also add a (5-10) second window where he can instantly raise his gun (like now) AFTER a finished reload. Now Deathslingers have to decide to work against the slower wind up, losing a bit of instant threat but under certain portions of the map, still giving time to hit a shot, or saving an empty gun and waiting to find someone and then reload and having a window of opportunity to hunt under his strongest condition (with some timed pressure) or having his gun loaded but having met a survivor at a tight loop, choosing to misfire the gun to reload and change tactics. Doesn’t take away much from Killer but gives survivor a layer of mind game and strategy based off of killer actions.

In exchange, Killer should be able to shoot and hook anything with a surface (maybe even the ground) and be able to reel himself across the map. It wouldn’t be helpful in chases but could get you where you need to be to defend generators or get to survivors spotted with BBQ.

    Just food for thought~

  • ...

My Killer perks would be Gearhead, Dead man’s Switch, and Hex: Retribution.

  • I can’t be a survivor, I’m a killer...

  • Rather have a crafting system. I don’t mind paying 30 browns for 1 yellow or 20 yellow for 1 green, 10 green for 1 purple or 5 purple for 1 red. Something like that.

  • Well, I’m a killer main and never attempted this but...

    A) AFK killer

    B) Killer who gave up and sits in corner waiting for endgame collapse to push survivors out.

    C) A face-camping Killer. Run Kindred, stay hidden, stay close.

    D) trick a killer into aggro and tunnel mode and then strongly suggest you have DS and immediately hop in locker on unhook. With a lil luck, they will hover around locker trying to mentally time out DS.

    E) Run detective Hunch to at least keep track of Killer TR and use Red Herring to try and summon the killer to you while stealthing. Maybe you can do it this way.

    Anyway, that’s how I’d try.

  • Throwing the controller against the wall is my go to strategy.

  • Well my last 10 killer games, 8-9 brought in a key. How are we going to have fun if you just want to escape early? Lol.

  • Where did all you survivors gain the power to cleanse a hex anyway? Are you all shaman? Maybe you groan because your messing with Hexes and have no knowledge or experience in cleansing.

  • Add Kill with friends. KWF.

Put cameras all around the map for surveillance and play like normal, except now an extra killer accomplice can see everything that survivors do...

    BUT DONT WORRY!

Although this seems unfair, the amount of communication between killer and accomplice is very minor. He can basically only ping areas of interest and not super often. It will be totally balanced.

whats that? This thing we built, that is mostly fair, will be broken if the two killers communicate outside of the game? That the accomplice could literally feed the killer with all the information necessary to always know, find, and kill all the survivors. Well golly gee wilikers!

((If you defend SWF you are the problem with this game. Go play a custom match))

  • I don’t believe your sincerity, I think your mocking FNAF. May your Freddy Fazbear pizza go cold...

  • Yeah I saw the clip of the stream too. I’ve restrained myself from going to every topic and being like “Shut up—None of this is even real, we’re living in a fantasy man, it’s all fake.”
