  • I think I understand the thread now but you really did a poor job of letting everyone know that you were interested in asking the community why/how is the game survivor sided.

For me: the game is survivor sided and needs to be the power role because each game consists of more survivors then killers. Four to One. Purely from a business stand point, it’s more important to keep 4 happy over one.

How? Well, no one clear cut answer here, it’s just an obvious thing that they have taken multiple opportunities to cripple killers and buff survivors. Enjoy your new Insta-heal perk~

  • I dunno if you’ll like my suggestion but it’s just a suggestion...

if nothing else works when the next derank happens, just not play for 2-3 days or however long you can stand it and then try again. I think your biggest obstacle is your rank and I don’t like in-game deranking so I can’t suggest that. Ruin got nerfed so you lost that edge and not being able to use a forth perk really hurts ya.

putting trap on totem isn’t terrible but once it’s found then it’s going down at that level, so actually running up to your trap is just tipping survivor off. I think at that level most survivors know the totem locations too. I think maybe burning for the preschool map might help. Some maps have better totem hiding spots that might help you.

anyway, no matter what if you just play over and over you will eventually get the rage quitter and snowball from there. Just gotta get them quick and they will prolly die on hook instantly~

  • I’m not reading all this, but I read some of it and if I was going to make a suggestion. Sorry if this was suggested already.

    Just change Blood Warden.

Instead of ‘As soon as a Exit Gate is open’ make it ‘As soon as the Exit Doors are powered’. An it doesn’t block the exits but it locks the door for 30 seconds. So, even if they 99 it, if the killer has Blood warden, they still have a chance for an end game play, just as the perk was meant for. An when I say lock, I mean lock. Like as long as the perk is active you cannot gain any progression.

I’m not 100% on what the new survivor meta would be or if it’s actually a dumb idea but my tired brain seems to think it would be a positive change to the game.

  • Oh, I was wondering where this went. Sorry, didn’t mean to post this in the wrong section~

  • I cannot remember which survivors I have a hate boner for. After awhile they all kind of meld together into a big pool of douche. Honestly I just sporadically use a Pink Mori when I’m feeling slighted by my last game, a Green Mori if I feel I see a problem child, and a Yellow Mori if I’m on a hot streak and want to turn survivor hard mode on.

  • Not to try and burst this bubble but I’m worried about how Stealth killers would ruin this idea...unless the other only way to remove exhaustion is if the killer stood still. If it’s just not running then Pig and Ghost would benefit the most, just by slowly approaching while exhausted but still being able to participate and capitalize on exhaustion perks. The rest would have to stand still, right?

Anyway, I’m not 100% against the idea, I think it’s an interesting thought and might be fun to play around with the idea of sacrificing time for a momentary boost of power but I’m afraid that killers don’t have the time to spare so most likely this could never be implemented right now.

  • Any perks that can now change the obsession is what I feel would be the most complained about aspect of this change. Obviously if a gen jockey is targeted and slams the killer with a pallet and becomes obsession then he accidentally crippled himself and hurt the team.

I could nit-pick more but I won’t. I get the spirit of this idea but I don’t personally think it would improve the game.

  • I figured the response would be like this. I’m new to the community so I was a bit shocked to see some people really giving others a hard time for dodging lobbies full of SWF set ups or keys. Seems to me that if survivors had the appropriate information they would also react/adjust/leave, just like the killer would.

Anyway, appreciate the responses. Personally, I would dodge pig. She always jump scares me and I have the worse RNG so...POP!

  • Release me!

  • Well just popping in to say that I’ve seen a lot of great replies and feel a lot more confident with tackling the bloodweb and prestige. I’ve basically been doing all the opposite things then what was suggested. I played killers with no/bad add ons, played low level killers, bought both perks when able and didn’t concentrate on bp earning perks. Making me grind longer and my games more difficult.

Thanks again for the replies. Feel free to continue the discussion but I think I got what I needed from my topic~

You can prevent adrenaline just by not interacting with that survivor at the moment it was activated. You wont feel difference.

I mean, I read this three times but I’m not getting what your trying to express. Very rarely does the last gen pop and I don’t have at least a single survivor hurt. Even if I do not interact with survivor and they are not in my viewpoint, the game still has 4 survivor icons letting me know of all health states at all times and if they have adrenaline then...I feel it.

Btw I don’t personally have a strong opinion on Adrenaline, but it’s a meta perk for a reason and used often for a reason. Also, just to add one more thing, the killer has 4 perks (three with NOED) but the survivors have 16 perks (15 to 12 if some wear Adrenaline). I dunno why everyone here is pretending like this isn’t a 4 vs 1 game.

Anyway, again, I really don’t care if Adrenaline ever gets nerfed but it definitely is one of the more solid perks with a lot of advantages with little cost.

  • Yeah. I figured regression was better. Hell make a new killer perk lol

  • People like to compare adrenaline with NOED. You can prevent NOED but not Adrenaline. Why not make Adrenaline be unable to activate if any totems are still on the map. All I’m saying is it’s pretty powerful with no downside except it’s an end game perk and the killer can only kill everyone before final gen to stop it.

  • It use to bother me too. I can, at the very least, respect the survivor who t-bags mid to early game. So I can assume your overly confident and test my skills against you or assume you need aggro because you need to lure me further away before a baby survivor gets enough courage to get a hook save. Nothing doing for the t-baggers at the exit. I played a lot of competitive sports growing up and that to me is the equivalent of winning the game and then refusing to shake the opponents hand before spitting on their face and walking away. Pathetic, sad and disrespectful behavior~
