Only thing DS needs in my opinion is to activate in both hook states. Tunneling is tunneling, a survivor DSing the killer shouldn't mean the killer is now free to tunnel the survivor without any other punishment. People can't progress the game while having DS active anyways, in it's current state it's just too weak to prevent tunneling.

You are going against a group of survivors who are very good at the game and bring strong perks to help them, and you are expecting to win without bringing good perks yourself? If you want to play this game casually then you should derank, red ranks include most of the competitive parts of the player base so if you want to win matches you need to invest resources and play actually well.
3 slowdown perks is very overrated, usually people who doesn't understand the game very well defend them. Depending on the killer you are playing, a combination of information and slowdown is usually the way to go, sometimes with a sprinkle of chase perks depending on your skill and the killers lethality.

Wraith is still a basic 115% killer with nothing to help In chase. Will get out-played by just pre-dropping against Good Survivors. Same with Hag and Plague, Billy still out-performs bubba in many ways than what people don't realize.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2181134#Comment_2181134
Blight is still S tier. His bad maps are Lerys and Hawkins, Swamp is 50/50 but still performs well, Billy can still curve and move at (I believe 170%) M/S kinda hard to counter that on a good Curve
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2181141#Comment_2181141
Hag can be countered insanely by good survivors. Stepping on the edge makes her power useless. Not even Scroll-wheel can save her. GF is just a basic 115% aswel with just hidden stain mechanics. pre-drop and he's useless. Plague has to work for her power already which is bad as all hell, She'll get countered instantly by just Blocking LoS,
Edit: Fixed Spelling Errors.
He is actually worse in maps like Haddonfield, Autohaven and Swamp. Closed maps are bad for him but in maps like Haddonfield where your power is useless at patrolling gens, Autohaven where the map is cluttered with objects they can circle around to hardcounter your power or Swamp where every object has a 50% chance of having collision Blight can't do a lot against good teams. He is just like Wraith without his stealth in maps like that, his power is only good to catch up or hit people who are out positioned.
-
99ing doors is already a pretty unfair strategy, no need to make it even stronger.
-
Corrupt on Wraith isn't the best idea since his early game isn't weak like some killers. MYC on him is undeniably top tier so I would recommend you get that first. Surge is okay at keeping gens at bay but you can use Sloppy Butcher too if you want more game slowdown until you get Pop.
-
I rarely dodge lobbies with keys, when either if I don't feel like it, if I'm using a low tier killer I haven't played in a while of if it's my warm up game. Otherwise if I'm doing a gimmicky build and survivors bring items that would mess it up I would dodge that lobby too.
-
It's not this complicated for me, if going after the survivor seems like the best choice I will. I may slug them for DS, wait out the BT but I don't really care if I'm tunneling or camping.
-
Wraith is fine, you can't play the same way you play against other killers which is a common case with the killers people complain about the most (Spirit, Hag, Blight, Nurse...). He feels pretty boring to me though, you just go to a person and uncloak, either hit them or break the pallet, go invisible and repeat.
-
Pig's trap addons and her whole trap mechanic should get reworked first, right now they can either not do anything if the survivor gets it off in the first try or kill them with no chance of escaping if they can't get it off in 2-3 tries. It's very inconsistent for the killer and very unfair for the survivor in some cases.
-
I think you didn't do justice to a lot of killers. The ones that bugs me most are: Blight isn't S tier, you have to be map independent to be S tier which Blight definitely isn't, especially with his many collision bugs. Billy is definitely not as good as you give him credit, he can rarely use his chainsaw against good loopers who know how to play around his power and even in an open area his chainsaw is not too hard to dodge.
-
Well unless they cap the DPI very very strictly people can just swing their mouses faster and keep doing this. They need to cap the turning angle and it would be fixed.
-
He is pretty good now but he has literally no snowball potential. His Main Event is way too weak and only serves as an extra ammo pool. If they buffed his ability then he could be a really good killer.

Tunneling is when you get tunnel vision on someone - that's where the term came from. If you're actively avoiding killing them, you're clearly not tunneling them.
I agree personally but I don't think it is that black and white. If a killer slugs you right after you get unhooked he is planning to hook you unless someone picks you up before DS runs out, they aren't avoiding killing you but they aren't wasting more time than necessary on you either.
I just wanted to know how people think about this.

You should try pallet break teching in tiles with broken LOS, L-walls for example. Force the survivor to go to the side of the tile with their optimal escape route, attack the pallet with your basic attack, they hear this and assume the break is happening so peel away, you then catch up to the survivor hitting them with a Shred.
But as for breaking pallets with Shred, I do feel like, since his power is somewhat of a ranged attack, making it so his Shred breaks are quicker would make him too obnoxious at high level. I disagree that his break and catch up play is bad. You can easily position yourself so that you Shred break when you've put the survivor in the least optimal position for them in most tiles.
You can position yourself to lose a lot let distance compared to breaking it yourself but against good survivors who also position themselves at the corner of the loop to start running the moment you break the pallet it is not enough to stop them from getting to another loop. Like I said, in a map like Fractured Cowshed where there is always another loop right next to the current one he can't do much against the survivors.
Maybe a more stealthy portal placement would help but literally every single A and S tier killer and most B tier killers has a way of playing around pallets or catch up afterwards, something Demogorgon doesn't have.
-
From the wiki.
-
I wish instead of capping the turnrate they capped the angle and let people turn freely like they did with Oni. People who play on lower DPI are still at a disadvantage compared to people with higher DPI.
-
Spirit is balanced if you remove injured sounds from the whole equation. All she needs is to not hear injured people in her ability and have an indication when she is in her power, then she will be a perfect killer.
-
It's so you don't get Surge procs back to back to back, which could be broken in certain scenarios including multiple slugs in an area. I think what this perk needs is a range increase, 32 meters is pretty low for its effect, it would be a lot more reliable perk with something like 40 meters.
-
With how strong Alarm Clocks are now I think it's fair. If you used a clock before starting a chase and get hit before the immunity runs out, that means Freddy is powerless in that whole chase.
-
Romantic is way too punishing and Proud is way too hard, but I like the idea. I would also like survivor bloodpoints to be increased overall in addition to something like this, they just lost the struggle points too which sucks.

Just learn these patterns and you will develop naturally as you play.

You or them probably have high ping.

Yea that i dont get, if we going by statistics we need to buff the nurse, which we all know is a bad idea
It's about how difficult a killer is. That statistics was of the whole player base, most of whom are garbage at the game so easier killers like Freddy have a much higher kill-rate than harder killers like Nurse.
@BreadLord said:
so how does nurse.. who is so much stronger than victor, have less of an attack cooldown
They probably saw that he was slugging too much in lower ranks and made it harder to snowball with Victor. They don't bother with Nurse because nearly no one is actually good with her.
-
Mindbreaker is one of those perks that's good but not good enough. Also Wraith has no problem countering Sprint Burst on his own.
-
She doesn't move foliage, but she does trigger crows. This knowledge helped me a couple of times.
-
Myers's problem is that his power spike takes so much effort to get and it's not strong enough to make up for it. If we were to keep his current concept and make changes to it, I would straight out remove T1 and give him a pallet breaking bonus in his T3. I think he needs a full rework though.
-
Well she has game slowdown, she has a chase ability, she has information while she still has a ton of counterplay. I would say she is in a really good spot.
-
He doesn't need much buffs to his basekit, he has amazing 1v1 potential and can pressure generators from a distance. Main Event sucks though and he isn't very good at pressuring multiple survivors at once so if we buff Main Event to let him do that he would be in a good place.
-
Out of these I like playing Demo the most and facing Demo the most. He is just a very fun killer for both sides.
-
When they do an addon rework, instead of adding or removing addons they change existing addons completely. For example the new iridescent addon used to be Pungent Phial, which was a green addon, so all of these you had were converted to the new iridescent addon.

Oh yes I know that, I have been playing this game for 3 years but I think I wrote my text a little wrong, the point is that I already have all the skills and I have unlocked everything in the blood network and that ability still does not appear with any killer
Check Pig's information page to see if the perk has a tick on it, if it doesn't you may not have bought the perk.
-
As a Devotion 3 player? That means you spent nearly all bloodpoints you ever owned at Nurse. I think it's normal for you to have that many addons after doing that.
-
Because you take them off when you haven't needed them for a while and put it back on when you had a game or two where you needed it but didn't have it on. That results in you not having the perk most matches you needed it and having it most matches you didn't need it.
-
Eh, teabag is never a "necessary" thing for survivors but I get your point. Playing both sides just made it so that I don't care about other peoples fun. It's not possible to please everyone in a match in this game so I just play for myself and they can play for themselves.
-
Can't blame you. Not a fast killer but very deadly at defending an area.
-
If you bought "Make Your Choice" from the Shrine it has a chance to appear in your bloodweb like any other perk you own. You will just have to go through it enough to get it and then you can use it.
-
You can't stop them from playing like that, but you can punish them by bringing DS and BT. Normally other survivors are supposed to either go in together to unhook you or just rush generators, but sadly Solo Queue survivors aren't capable enough to understand a situation like that so that's why the camping and tunneling worked that well.
-
His best perks and addons are debatable, personally my favorite is his speed addons, but cooldown and turnrate are also very good.
None of his brown addons are good except the cooldown one.
You get better at it as you do it, hitting at the last second instead of swinging helps me a lot, I very rarely get spun using his power.
If you haven't watched it already, Scott has an amazing Blight guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyuTmnd825A
-
If a Legion misses an attack, that's on them, no need to hold their hand and give them another hit. If all we are doing is tweaking his current kit then he should not be losing any power after M1ing, his Frenzy speed should be increased to 150% and his fatigue should be decreased by a second. I would much prefer him getting a full rework though.
-
If we are saying I will 100% get to rescue the person on the hook and 100% will go down doing it then it depends on how many times I have been hooked. If I'm hooked none I will definitely go for it, twice I will never go for it, once I will only go for it if I think they are decent enough to not self care in a corner after they are rescued and actually benefit the team.
-
I didn't read the whole thing but if I tunnel as a killer, that's because you made it viable. If you healed after getting unhooked, then that's on you. If you didn't bring DS, then that's on you. I'm not gonna act like people have DS and in a way give them a 5th perk when I don't have to.
-
Nope she is in a very good place. Good slowdown, good leathily, has counterplay.
-
I would like to send Ash to the killer side so the survivors have no chance at all. I would send Demogorgon to survivors so they have something to pet.

I play Killer frequently but I almost never even see keys in lobbies, and even when I do I just put on slightly better addons and end up winning anyways. I'm 99% sure everyone is overexaggerating to the extreme on how often they see keys and how strong they are.
I play killer on red ranks regularly and I see a key 1 out of 5 matches, it was much worse a few months ago too. Also no one is exaggerating how strong keys are, the moment you lose your 3rd generator 2 people can escape with a key the moment others die and you can't do much to prevent it other than heavy slugging. If people are failing to use it then that's them being incompetent, nothing to do with the keys.
-
You can easily reach the end without ever doing a character challenge, with either roles.

How are the devs oversupplying survivor players? Recently we've just gotten a nerf and a rework for two of the most complained about perks, DS and OoO. Queue times for survivor at night are high but during the morning it switches around and killer takes longer to load in while survivors are instant. And the reason why lower ranked killers are sometimes being ranked up with higher ranked survivors is because of how lobbies function. If a killer leaves a lobby then the game tries to find a killer as quick as possible for that lobby which involves getting a killer from a lower rank.
It's been like this since the Mori changes, so it's probably all of the killers done with seeing keys in every lobby.
-
Trapper - Bigger bag by default.
Wraith - Either no footsteps when invisible or make them sound the same as survivors. Also remove flashlights burning him.
Billy - Remove the heating mechanic.
Nurse - Fix her bugs.
Mikey - Needs a full rework.
Hag - Remove flashlights affecting her traps.
Doctor - Remove all the static people get in their screens, people with epilepsy have been struggling with it for so long.
Huntress - She cool.
Bubba - He cool.
Freddy - Too early to say.
Pig - Make her traps more consistent. Make her dash more powerful by maybe increasing speed. Make her speed when crouched same as survivors.
Clown - Anything to make him more fluid and lethal. Maybe let him throw bottles with less of a cooldown so he doesn't take two years to set up a play.
Spirit - Remove injured sounds when phasing. Give an indication on if she is phasing or not.
Legion - Reduce the stun he gets by a second, increase his frenzy speed to 150%.
Plague - She cool.
Ghostface - Reduce his ability cooldown to 15-20 seconds.
Demo - Too early to say. Maybe let him get indication when people are sealing a portal without any addons.
Oni - Give him something when he is in his normal mode, he is countered too heavily by survivors playing it safe from the start.
Deathslinger - Make it so he can't noscope and give him a way to pressure gens by default.
Pyramid Head - I don't know him very well
Blight - Fix his damn collisions and he will be fine.
Twins - Don't know him very well.
Trickster - Don't know him very well.

but do you think what I'm talking about would work to more accurately reflect skill levels or no?
The matchmaking with rank thing is the same as being able to change killers in a lobby. At the moment there is no reason it shouldn't be a thing and it was better when it was a thing. They removed both to implement a completely new MMR system, which was longer than a year ago I think.
Escapes aren't a good factor for skill in this game. A person can run the killer for 5 gens and may die in their first hook at the end of the game while others escape. In that game the only actually good player would be the person running the killer when everyone (including the killer) other than him would be rewarded.
There is no single way to measure skill so it should be a much more complicated system than that.
