I'd say Predator.
Its regular effect is surprisingly detrimental and the option to make something like footsteps louder would at least make it interesting.

And the flaw with each and every one of these? They're perks. Which must be ran by solo survivors, who lack any form of build coordination if they are not all on the same platform (ie. PC, Xbox, PS4), lack it completely if on Switch as there's no way to message there full stop, and prevent them from using other perks.
SWF get the benefits of all of those perks, and more (like Small Game's totem counter) for free. The only expense they must give is some oxygen to say "Oh yeah killer's on me, shack is gone." So, if anything you're further supporting my argument by listing more perks that give benefits SWF get for free, which is just all the more reason to buff solos and superbuff killers.
You don't run those perks while playing in SWF? Interesting. I'm not sure where to go from here, honestly. Point to you, GoodBoy: I concede, your points stand.

there aren't actually; wake up doesnt show the aura of the survivor while theyre inside the gate, just shows the aura to all other survivors while theyre actually on the gate. even then, it serves a purpose by having extra opening speed
so again, solos shouldnt have to use perks swf get for free and believing they should perpetuates the balance issues in this game.
Please, Karu, you're making hard to play Devil's Advocate when you deconstruct my arguments with well-measured responses like that!
Empathy is disgustingly good for seeing fellow survivors in chase (and other places), and Windows and Any Means occasionally serve this function as well their intended purposes. Better Together is another perk that shows when you can work on a gen with someone (though it shares an indicator with some other perks, to be fair).
In your favor, there aren't exactly perks to see when survivors are in a gate or on bones, unless you count Bond, Aftercare, or Blood Pact. Which I will, because
I canI should be fair, if unreasonable,in my assessment. -

Wake Up is for the extra gate opening speed
Honestly forgot about its aura reading because it barely helps
Literally the last match I played in last night Wake Up came in handy not because of the speed increase, but because everyone could see what gate Jeff was opening. I'd say it has multiple uses.

Why not the exit gates. If I'm at a gate alone, I always wait around in case I can help body block. If I know the other remaining survivors are at the other gate, I can just leave and not waste mine or any of the other players' time.
There are perks for that.

@JoeyDonuts is correct. You heal instantly when the perk triggers, so a killer with Nurse's only had a split-second to see your aura.

You cleanse totems to use Inner Strength and counter A Nurse's Calling.
I cleanse totems to see if the killer has Hex: Pentimento.

I also have nothing better to do, so I'll answer a question that DemiPlays has already asked.
Trapper- LMAO no, this man is JACKED. I am the dead.
Wraith- He might get me if he surprises me. If not, I have a KNIFE and know how to find a man's vital arteries.
Hillbilly- Would probably also knock me the [BAD WORD] out. He literally can wield human, to use a phrase I heard once.
Nurse- She can teleport, but she's also an average woman otherwise? I could choke her, probably?
Shape- Please, sir, may I have another knife in my ribs?
Hag- She's Lady Spiderlegs's personal Wendigo. I'm a dead man, no joke.
Doctor- HAHAHAHAHAHA, and I'm dead after several hours of vaguely scientific torture.
Huntress- I'd die, as I am not a cute baby gill.
Cannibal- He had a chainsaw, true. We'll call it a draw, as, again, I know where his vitals are. (JK, I die)
Nightmare- IDK, I die, probably. Slowly, at that.
Pig- I know how to trigger Mandee's EMOTIONAL DAMAGE, and also she's a regular young (pun not intended) woman. I beat her to death with a chair, then regret my life choices.
Clown- I don't know. He may be fat, but he's persistent, and an ambush predator. Time to see if my chair wielding skills are better than his usage of knives.
Spirit- Considering what kind of spirit she is, I die even if I "win" so I can't win; I die, then she kills her father and ceases to be.
Legion- I'm bigger and angrier than a group of edgy Canadian teenagers are. I've bitten someone's nose clean off and taken a chunk out of a man's throat after he stabbed me. I'll make this a draw. But it'll only be a draw.
Plague- She might win if I die of diseases first, tbh.
Ghost Face- Stab me, [BAD WORD]. I dare you. Better make it hurt. Better kill me in one shot.
Demogorgon- Uh. I don't know. I probably die, because it took multiple people to bring one down canonically.
Oni- HAH! I die. Messily, at that.
Deathslinger- He may be a cripple, but he still has a literal spear gun. I'm dead, most likely. If he misses, I have a good chance.
Executioner- @DoritoHead has the right of it.
Blight- Mr. Hyde kills me with his cane, then messily devours my corpse with his oozing maw. This man has Entity-Cocaine powering him, you think he's going to feel whatever the hell I do? He killed a literal mountain of people while dying of wasting away, I have no chance.
Twins- Uh. I don't know, honestly. I'm not sure how big Charlotte is, but methinks she kills me, probably. Then Victor eats me for fun.
Trickster- STAB ME, I DARE YOU. I beat him to death with a chair.
Nemesis- I die. Messily. Then I get up as a zombie, probably. 1/100000 chance I come back as a better zombie and kill him, but I won't hold my breath. Because I'll be dead.
Cenobite- He's an extraplanar entity with telekinesis and the ability to summon pieces of said plane to wherever he pleases. I don't die, but I beg for it for the rest of eternity.
Artist- She either drowns me in ink, or I disrupt her ephemeral limbs long enough to kill her. I lean towards my demise in this case.

So you think a Nurse who is as good as the average face camping Bubba is a good killer?
Considering the skill gate for the average Nurse? Yes.
That being said, I have an even more unpopular opinion: SBMM literally doesn't matter.
The face-camping bubba won't get all that high in matchmaking, because he'll end up facing better players who know how to counter him and how he plays. Players who hide all match will eventually find themselves against killers who can and do find them. In both cases, their SBMM reading will balance out eventually.
And on top of that, who the [BAD WORD] wants to be at high MMR anyway? It's literally pointless. I don't feel the need to sweat in this game, and neither should you. To be honest, it's kind of like buying an NFT: you're working hard, being miserable, all in order to get an artificial rating that you can't even see. Pointless.

Oh! Thank Her Tyranny, Lady Spiderlegs. All is well again.
But actually, thank you. You're a blessing, even if you're a gremlin.

Wdym, it's easy to counter it. Just don't slugg lmao
@Gwinty said:
Well, it may sounds dumb but...
The counter is just to not slug. I do not know how Killers do this in my survivor games but almost every times I use Boon: Eponential or Unbreakable they never slug me or a teammate. I was playing against an Oni the other day and not even he slugged!
Unbreakable is fine for me. It is mostly in the nature of the survivor perks to be "hidden" until it is too late for you: Dead Hard, Deceisive Strike, Unbreakable, Lithe, Deception, Deliverance...only a few perks have tells: Object of Obsession, Second Wind and No Mither...
You're not technically wrong, but instead--and, hear me out: what if the killers slugged more instead. Same result, yeah? And both sides get more match time, so it's technically a net improvement.
In all seriousness, that is how counter slugging if you know you'll want to slug later in the match.

-
My decision to relax, let go of my anger, and focus on taking enjoyment from the game rather than working towards any kind of ephemeral "victory" is only tangentially related to SBMM, so I'll say no.
Actually, I tend to be very "whatever" about the last survivor now (unless I have a challenge), while for a good while before I would work towards getting everyone dead.
-
Tantrum add-ons only help when looking to slug survivors out of lockers mid-sweep, yeah? Or do they serve some other purpose?
(It is wierd that they're the same though, yeah.)

Honestly, I just want killer add-ons to be additive, so they have an effect.
Stridor vs. Iron Will doesn't bother me too much, but I wouldn't say no to a change or two to Stridor to make it more interactive.

You probably shouldn't artificially boost their matchmaking rating, that's low-key cruel. I appreciate that you're coming from a good place, though.
Also, no; let's not. You're mayhaps a little new to the game and might not know this, but NOED already has been changed, and it's much better than it was.

Hitting the great skillchecks on the wiggle will make it so you wiggle out in 15s instead of 16, so you can really do them with ease for the normal wiggle
And boil over is 25% from what i did read in the patch for the PTB, and it seems easy to abuse on every small fall

Alright, more the fool for me, I guess; good to know that great skill checks make wiggling out faster than current keyboard-mashing wiggling. Thanks for the info!
Concerning, but maybe also a sign of changing balance? Mayhaps they're doing something with hooks or the maps as well. I'll wait and see before casting judgement.
-
First: Wasn't it only sixteen percent?
Second: Keep in mind that wiggling is being changed to skill checks, which might throw survivors off a little (at least for a while)
You make a fair point, though, sir. On the other hand, survivors will have to keep in mind that if hooking them becomes to hard, they can always be left to bleed out for four minutes, so we'll see how the change actually plays out.
