You're assuming the 3 second delay occurs during fatigue and not after. An optimistic assumption. Why go through the task of making a separate cool down when extending the fatigue time would work the same.
It was stated in the patch notes that recovery of your blinks starts at the beginning of the fatigue. Read them again.

0.4m/s extra means Legion moves at 125% whenever he's in frenzy. That's HUGE lol. And it isn't why he's bad.

As you say, you were able to play Nurse without add-ons until now. She will now become an add-on dependent killer.
You are right about that... Billy is the only killer not add on dependent. (Trust me, spirit mostly is. Never see spirits without them)

Touching base nurse was wrong.
Right now without a speed increase she is trash, this a big nerf
Shes not trash, are you blind? She will still be better than Spirit. Just harder to play, and I'm fine with that. Also less fun...

I really hope the Legion gang hangs out some how. I pains me to think of them having made a (very bad and evil) family just to have it ripped away.
Legion wasn't really super evil tbh. They were basically juvenile kids who stabbed 1 guy and the entity was like "yep u"

The only way all 4 escaped is if they finished every gen.
It is a legitimate item in the game. I feel robbed when I get immediately Mori’ed off first hook.
Tough.
It wasn't all 4. It was 3 and 1 gen was left. So yeah, it is extremely unfair. You are another person who quite literally harasses killers thinking they're actually stronger than survs lol

I love the killers crying because they couldn't 4K due to a key. Y'all know the game is balanced around a 2K average, right? Hatch is bullshit now without a key anyway. In a game with 2 survivors dead high rank killers will slug the 3rd to look for the hatch so they can close it after hooking. At that point what the ######### else is the last survivor to do? Killers will just patrol the doors (which have a bad habit of spawning near each other) so what hope does the survivor have? There should always be a CHANCE. A lot of people would stop playing a game where smart killers remove all hope of escape because that's not ######### fun.
There have been a lot of ######### playing today on both sides, so my viewpoint at the moment may be tilted.
You literally cannot balance. Game of a 2k average. You know what happens when a killer does a 2k? WE DEPIP.

I can't see the problem. Playing demogorgon, I always set up a portal next to a gate and sit at the other and wait for the survivor to show up thanks to the killer instinct effect.
Things like Gen grab spirit , omega blink nurse, moris, BBQ, and gate portal demo exist. Honestly deserve to get a key escape when those exist.
Tbh the key complaints are somewhat eh. I see better complaints on insta heals. I agree it could use an animation, but people... if you're holding a key in your hands how long does it take you to unlock something? Animation or not wouldn't make a difference in speed tbh.
The "One person escapes with a key" idea feels a bit redundant. And I doubt something like that sounds appealing to the devs, when they just reworked Left Behind to be for that very purpose... hatch escapes.
And you can grab survivors entering hatch. It's been done.
You cannot grab survivors.

Mori
Keys
Insta-heals
OP Killer Add-ons (looking at Prayer Beads, omegablink, iridescent hatchets, etc)
Iri hatchets isn't OP, it's only OP when you have 3. Having 1 hatchet is so bad.

When you can win by just tunneling and camping, it clearly shows that rank doesn't mean anything anymore. You can still pip so easily as killer/survivor, no wonder the matchmaking is so bad.
You're bad at the game cuz you didn't do gens. Also, DS hits more than tunnelers. I've been hit by a Dwight's DS just because he had 2-3 seconds left and I can't predict that.

Ebony mori already encourages tunneling in its current state.
Huntress can carry 3 hatchets max with Iridescent head.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/733716#Comment_733716
I'm saying you can REDUCE the amount of people dcing. Salty survivors will always dc or kill themselves on hook.
Ebony mori is easily more broken than anything survivors have.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/733718#Comment_733718
Never said they were, but they are a big part of why people dc. No one wants to play against broken addons or ebony mori. People play this game to have fun, and those addons make the game very unenjoyable.
As long as DS is in it's extremely powerful state, arguably the BEST surv perk in the game I think Ebony is 100% fine. I get to bypass your DS, don't have to slug or anything.
Now you may say "oh you hate DS cuz you tunnel" but people are forgetting this perk lasts 60 entire seconds, that's 1/5 or 1/6 of a match usually. I sometimes down and hook someone else, get to a gen and injured guy is there and then get hit by a DS with 2-3 seconds left. It's ridiculous.

For survivors?
Flashlight nerf, exhaustion nerf, less pallets, fast vault nerf, decisive strike nerf, healing speed nerf, pallet vacuum removed, brand new part nerf, mettle of man nerf.
I'm sure there are some that I don't remember.
DS is stronger than before, it's a 60 second immunity. BNP allowed 4 gens to pop in under a minute. MoM made every m1 killer unplayable, exhaustion was busted, that's known. Pallet vacuum was a glitch...these nerfs turned survivors from OP to reasonable, yet still stronger than most killers.

It's so amusing that so many of you nurse players expect to be able to compete with a 4-man sweaty SWF with the best survivors when most of you just aren't that good.
You have been conditioned to think you should be able to beat the best survivors because nurse allows you to unfairly compete with the best even when you are not the best, and if the devs remove that from you (which you are all so scared of), that will only be a good thing.
The best killer players perform well with all killers against the best survivors. I've never been in a game where I thought 'there was nothing I could have done to win'. Yet I see you people post 'without nurse this game would have been a loss' again and again.
The only changes killers need are a huge map rehaul and slight changes to the lowest of the low tier (legion, doc) to give them more relevance.
If you can't perform against the best players, that's because you aren't the best. Nurse being in her broken state for so long has warped your perception of what is balanced. As a killer main myself (huntress, plague, demo, trapper are my most played), who also plays a decent amount of survivor, if the devs are taking nurse off her godly perch and making skill vs skill matter in that matchup, that's a good thing.
Y'know normally I don't toot my own horn, but yeah. I'm a great Nurse, I have hundreds upon hundreds of hours, I should be. Nurse is the only killer able to handle those swf.

In no way are either of those first two examples "slight" changes. That's incredibly disingenuous to say.
That was BHVRs idea of a "slight" change sorry to say bud.

Survivors want a spirit meta where 90% of games are spirit with 0% of Nurse.

Can you provide a quote from a dev saying that DS is purely intended for anti-tunneling only? I'll wait.
It doesn't matter if it is or not, you are immune to the killer for 60 seconds with no punishment for being extremely aggressive. Slugging is not a solution, it's extremely risky to slug especially if anti tunnel perks are involved. You should play killer sometime.

The chief complaint on these forums (especially last summer) has been about how powerless the Nurse's current mechanics and add-on's make survivors feel. Albeit her add-on's need an update, but I've said it before and I'll say it again:
If the changes the devs make to the Nurse result in dropping her top tier viability, then the only thing the devs will have accomplished is changing the frequency of posts in the forums from "Nurse OP, PLZ Nerf" to "Spirit/Hilbilly OP, PLZ Nerf" because they'll have taught the complainers that if they whine enough... they can take down a Top Tier killer.
This is extremely true. I already know spirit is very likely to be nerfed with how things are going. Survs spend more money, so surv mains who've never played killer once will probably always get their wish.
-
If Nurse still isn't the best killer in the game after nerfs, guess survs can enjoy a spirit meta even more than it already is. I play 50/50 killer/surv. Nobody wants to face only spirit and no nurse. Sometimes Billy.

The real question should be " why they are nerfing her now and not years ago?" In these years when i was playing against a nurse i have always said " oh here another unskilled kid"

"DS isnt that strong at all."
It's literally an S tier perk right now, hence why every rank 1 game you have at least 3 if not all 4 survivors running it.
"The stun time is laughable as long as you cant escape with it, cause killers wont lose you within such a short amount of time."
The entire point isn't to lose the killer, it's to get to another loop.
"With the change its just a dead perk when the unhooker gets downed immediately after unhook, which isnt that uncommon."
If this is actually happening then that means it was a stupid save in the first place and your team is misplaying. That isn't the perk being bad, it's your team being bad.
"Or when you get slugged so someone can be hooked before."
If it forces a slug that is already a benefit to your team because slugging is a high risk move in the first place that is very easily punished.
This perk activates almost every game and if it didn't then the killer was playing extremely "fair" and your team probably won quite hard. If you didn't then y'all either played terribly or it was a nurse.
Killer could also camp, making you HAVE to unhook in their face (after gens of course) but otherwise you're right.
-
Over half the killer roster is bullied in the red ranks, even if you are extremely good at dbd playing them.
-
5% of a gen is literally less than 8 (4) seconds, so yeah it is extremely easy because most tbh favors you that much.
-
She's fine, yes. No nerfs needed. But she is extremely easy to play, you just need headphones with directional audio.
-
Spirit isn't OP at all, but she is for the most part extremely easy to play. She shouldn't be nerfed, but I won't commend spirit players often. You win because you have headphones.
-
I'm not a god, but I don't always hit greats either. But you still do gens through ruin, if all 4 is running around looking for totem killer wins.
-
Working through ruin is optimal
@blue4zion said:
I never leave a gen to look for ruin, just working through it I believe is better than searching around for the totem. As I'm heading to the next gen, I absolutely look around in my path.

It gives you more control. A neat little bit of tech you can do is stand above the basement stairs (with the stairs on your left) if you don't think you'll make it to the hook. If the survivor isn't running balanced landing, they'll fall and stagger, allowing you to mostly recover from the stun by the time they get back to the top. The survivor can counter that by not wiggling out. That forces the killer to either keep moving, or sit there forever as generators pop off. Making it automatic wouldn't allow you to stop wiggling until the killer moves.
It's a bit of a niche example, but there's a few places where it can come in handy.
Killer can press drop...forcing you out of their arms....
-
No definitely not that sucked.
There used to not even be exhaustion, just a cooldown. And quite frankly extending a chase for 40 seconds is EASY back in those days. Even now you could feasibly do that except vs top tier.

Bud, you don't see Nurse on console because she is not easy to control. She may be the Best killer on PC, but on Console she's low tier. You can't use her to her full potential on Console due to the fact that you guys are stuck with a smooth & set sensitivity.
I play on PC with controller and still get ez 4 man slugs/kills at rank 1. Isn't the controller, it's the awful fps.
-
I don't like chasing a survivor for 30-40 seconds as a non nurse killer and a gen popping...

Even further disappointment is Spirit isn't going to be and Nurse is going to be reworked, not nerfed. They may limit the number of blinks she can have maximum but there are only so many ways to alter that power and they have to have addons for her. If they limit range and number the only thing they can boost is ease of use. This lot always tries to speak on the forums like their laments are prophecies, and it couldn't be further from the truth.
Objective reality, they intend on hiding SWF from killers with dedicated servers and the only way they are going to have a killer population to endure that and a functioning rank system is to have the killers strong enough to deal with it. Ergo, this notion of killers being made garbage to account for the most inept of the population is pure delusion.
Nurse's rework is add ons.

I love playing Nurse, because I love slugging and snowballing the game into a gg within 4 minutes lol
Just never gets old.
-
Have you even faced a plague and Legion with these perks? It's miserable.
-
Blinding at a pallet is a complete waste. A sentient killer can easily track you, save your flashlight for useful stuff. Like mindgame checks.
-
Ew no that's a horrible idea. Do not add perks that punish the killer for playing well. You got downed, get on that hook. It sucks for the killer to lose all that chase time.

You must've never been red ranks. It's cool though.

Queue times were so long and they refuse to extend it. Sucks...

Wait so you HATE killers as people? You know it's a video game right? That's not how they are irl. I highly doubt many killer mains are actual blood thirsty evil murderers. Just normal everyday people, I work your average job. Play Dbd for fun, I'm not your enemy :/.

I only escaped 22/50 games or 44%.
21/50 games were 4K’s or 41% of the time.
Killers in a better place than it ever has been. Players here are just bad, for the most part.
I think you're bad actually, even with 5k hours.
Killer is in a better spot, but still not the power role.
