Look at those add ons brother. She's still viable, but she's way weaker. Old Nurse could be used at base without much issue other than skill. Didn't even need any slowdown perks.
Also those weren't very good survivors.

So are you asking if you can stack the effects?
Like, you get the endurance effect from the purple so you don't get downed and you're also getting your heal over time effect while that's happening so you are fully healed too? Would be interesting to test I guess.
I also don't know what the Endurance effect means. Does that mean you can just tank a hit like borrorwed time?
Endurance is a status effect that lets you take another hit, so yes.

They definitely could but I don’t think they really do recolors anymore lol
They do, just only with Yellows/Browns mostly.

Why did you allow players to buy the event cosmetics already?
-
If you're on ptb, that's just ptb people. They DC constantly for no reason.

Honestly though how many people really run those perks? Everyone I've seen is running a "Get everything done quickly" build.
Spine chill is fairly meta perk nowadays.
-
Any good nurse main realizes her gameplay is basically unaffected :/
It is such a mild cooldown. Good survivors can keep you in a Chase like 5 seconds longer oh no...
-
That was the surv making a horrible mistake.

honestly in my opinion instant's were fine. My main concern is keys the only real counter to them was Franklins or tunneling said survivor
Definitely fair to have a 45 sec chase instantly ended by syringe.

Hag takes a long time to learn and master, which makes people think she's weak and not viable. I'm a Hag main, and I still haven't mastered her, but god do I love to play her (and do decently as her, and I don't even trap hooks). The other Killers can't shut down loop as quickly as Billy, Spirit or Nurse, which makes Killers who aren't experience say every other killer is bad.
If you look at great Killer Mains, like Otzdarva (The main one I watch), he plays every Killer at red ranks, and has his great games, and sometimes bad games. However, he can examine and explain why he did bad, which is usually a mistake on his part. Us killers need to know that just because you are in red ranks, doesn't mean you have skill. Rank in this game is partly skill, but also luck and putting time into the game.
With insta-heals getting nerfed, along with nurse, I feel the high tier meta will open up a bit for those that think only Spirit and Billy will be viable.
Hag is literally top 4-5. She's very deadly.

I didnt say they weren’t fun because survivors lose a lot against them, they arent fun because of certain aspects of their power.
with Nurse, she wasnt fun because after missing a blink she was right next to the survivor she blinked to and could easily blink right on top of them, getting a free hit. Also, once you got good with her she became and unstoppable killing machine, the survivors skill usually meant nothing on an open map.
with Spirit, most people hate the guessing game that comes with her power, as it feels really cheap and boring to vs. She can easily dominate very good survivors, to the point where the singular survivors skill wont matter at all against a good Spirit in chase.
Nurse is no longer fun to play, and that's an issue.
-
@Boaris030 said:
I just really hate chases that I could end much quicker are now not possible, mostly because I have a 3 second recharge that cancels if I prepare another blink. I can get 4k's with her easy, but man is it so annoying to do so. I'd much rather have an increased fatigue, they basically gave her another mechanic into her that is meant to help survivors escape, but the blink recharge did not prevent me from losing anybody, it just prolonged chases stupidly.
Yeah I'm still getting the 4ks too. But the Chase's are long enough to justify Corrupt or Ruin.
-
I already see at least styptic every 2-3 games so whatever.
And nobody plays Nurse, just Spirit. I always play Nurse tho.

@Financial_Stability said:
Instead of having the whole cooldown and blink recharge mechanic, which majorly screws her over when trying to reproach a survivor who's made it into an LOS area, how about we look at the fatigue instead? It's what slows down her snowball, but I have a few ideas that might actually be better than never having the security of two blinks.
Added .5 sec fatigue to her first blink and her chained-blinks when not swinging.
Added .25 sec to the fatigue for a whiffed blink attack.
Reduced .5 sec from successful blink hit attack.
All in all she'll either be the same with a one blink hit or she'll be slightly hindered by .5 sec. Not only does she fatigue longer, giving survivors more time to escape, but she'll be looking down giving more of a chance for survivors to get to an LOS area without being seen.
Personally, I don't think her basekit should've been changed. It was the only kit that could face down the top swf teams. But I tried to meet in the middle. Making Nurse not always have her blinks is not a good idea. I've played her since release, I've played tournaments with her for large cash prizes (namely Space Esports 150$ weekly ritual, team won x3 of the 10 they had.) And she does struggle against the best of the best, but she has a chance.
She's the hardest killer to play. She has arguably the highest skill ceiling in the game. Why are we nerfing her basekit?
No she's ez because the baby surv mains said so >:(

Cross platforming wouldn't work.
PC Players would have a HUGE advantage in framerate, reaction time, and accuracy compared to there more button mashy counterparts.
I mean console survivors even need to have gens revealed to them without having to actively search them out.
I'm PC, but console survs dont get gens revealed. That's mobile players.

You get rid of keys, means you get rid of moris, you get rid of moris you get rid of red survivor addons, you get rid of red addons, you get rid of killer red addons. They all balance each other out so stop being so salty cos you got owned by a key.
I'll just tunnel and Mori every key then.
-
She is basically unchanged. Non nurse players can be upset, but they're not as experienced and don't understand. It's literally hardly noticeable she just has usable add ons now.
-
You're a giga brain.
-
@arslaN said:
Nurse and spirit doesn't really require much skill.
Kill me with billy or huntress and yeah you have skill
Billy is definitely way easier than Nurse. Nurse takes a lot of hours to get good. You're just a salty survivor.

It's massively OP, obviously. They get more gen time while I camp! /s

Remove toolboxes
Remove keys
Nerf adrenaline
Nerf self care
Nerf mOm
Nerf windows
Nerf gens
Most of the complaining threads on this forum are killer mains wanting a survivor nerf. Yet you call survivor players the entitled ones.
Did anybody want self care nerfed? No. That perks is garbage.

Oh wow, how tragic, meanwhile Leatherface is still walking across the map to find survivors.
That's commentary on a weak killer. He just needs a buff no need to cry about Nurse baby surv.
-
@GrootDude said:
After her fatigue, you’ll have to wait 3.5 seconds to have every blink ready, this is without add ons btw. If 3.5 seconds is killing Nurse then mindbreaker is destroying exhaustion perks.
Here's what you DONT understand. Mindbreaker and this power ARE NOT THE SAME. A 3.5 sec cooldown as a killer moving at 96 speed is so slow and has such a cooldown that the survivor will literally outrun you unless you use 1 blink over and over.
Nurse is the only killer this reliant on her power. SHE HAS TO BLINK OR SHE CANT WIN!
-
It literally turns her power off lol

You're measuring killers against the best possible survivor loadout with items and addons. Survivor items and add-ons aren't even as easy to come across as killer addons, because survivors don't make as much BP per match as a killer.
Let's not pretend that every match a killer gets into has insta-heals.
That's even worse than pretending every survivor game is against an Ebony Mori.
If Survivors need to use all the best perks and add-ons to be competitive with a Nurse, what does that tell you about how powerful she is?
A change to nurse is necessary. She isn't healthy for the game.
Ok but neither is keys, insta heals, or even swf. Swf is healthy for cosmetics and gameplay times, but knowing where killer is 24/7 so your squad can eat gens isn't.

I love how this thread is taking two game states the OP has no firsthand experience with (one because it doesn't exist yet and one because they weren't around) and pretends there's any point being made by such forced comparisons.
Adjusting the strongest killer in the game is the equivalent of taking the game back to Summer 2016. Sure...
They are adjusting her with a tremendous nerf.
-
@ad19970 said:
She's barely slower than survivors though during the last 3.5 seconds. It just gives survivor the opportunity to break LOS, the only counterplay they have against Nurse.
I could see them decreasing the cooldown of a blink to 2.5 seconds, I think that would be fine as well. Anything beyond that though I don't think would be good. Survivors having a bit more counterplay against Nurse is a great thing.
This isn't proper counterplay. They can LITERALLY RUN IN A STRAIGHT LINE!
-
Ok console players have fun vs PC nurse. (Oh wait nurse is about to be awful)
-
The URs are bad. So it doesn't matter.
-
Yes people don't seem to realize with two blinks if the survs keep running she will never catch up unless they make a big mistake lmfao

Balancing the game around like the 5% of players is a terrible idea. Make a killer viable against those top players then solos will suffer
So the 5% should always be allowed to Bully killers and win and deserve to never lose vs any killer?

And yes I do know it disables blinking but you just got a hit on them and will be able to end the chase FAST after 2 second fatigue.

Yes. The one Killer in the game that can avoid barriers, buildings, pallets and has zero cooldown on her m2 is very balanced.
Imagine being serious when you say this

Base Nurse was SS tier for years. Survivors have been brought down several pegs. The idea people are enraged about this Killer getting dropped down a peg or two herself is hilarious. You can't have a Killer SS tier when Survivors were at their strongest point be the same power level when Survivors have been brought down to their weakest point they have been at.
You do know survivors are still tremendously stronger than most killers right?

I do not care about pips, really. But I get so upset when I get a 2k/3k and then depip. Even a 4k as tombstone tuft Myers depip...

Funny thing how you assume that a Killer, who can play without Perks or Add-Ons can be good for the game, when every other Killer (except maybe Billy) needs Add-Ons.
I mean that Nurse can use Perks like Deerstalker to slug Survivors speaks for itself, every other Killer does not have the luxury of wasting a Perk Slot for something like this.
No killer should need add ons. That in itself is broken.
