I agree. Remove Freddy slow down...but also remove toolboxes.
-
It is rare in my blood webs too.

Check this out, it will help you. Also many survivors would rather be one shot than give you the Corrupt Purge. Run Thanto to encourage them to cleanse.
-
Good time to get your Adept killer achievements done. Happy Hunting!
-
@BunnyTheHutt As you well know, well coordinated teamwork is the counter to all killers.
That being said, I break chase in a second if I can wound someone else, so doing that will backfire with me.
-
@StarMoral Agreed, but with only 4 perk slots I need to make hard decisions.
I play all killers except Nurse, so switching it up is fine with me.
-
I main Hag and she has the distinct advantage of not having to loop to down survivors.
Teleport fast for best results and do not commit to long chases unless it is the last survivor.
My rule is 1 pallet broken, break chase.
Monitor and Abuse works well on her since she already has a reduced terror radius.
If you see flashlights in the lobby switch to another killer haha.
-
@Liruliniel The Entity's Left Hand only plays Trapper so he is a great resource as well.
-
OhTofu was playing Trapper last night on his stream. I would watch the VOD and learn.
His trap placements were on point and he dominated the matches while hardly even paying attention.
-
Not just stealth killers.
Hag and Trapper are tormented by OOO and they are always my priority target if they slip up.
That being said, they are usually good jukers. If you cannot juke well OOO will get you killed.
-
Agreed @BunnyTheHutt
A naked Terminator with just metal skin could easily just use his hand as his normal attack.
His power however would require some thought. I am sure the devs could do it.
-
@ItsYourBoyGuzma Well in theory the Alien could climb over L wall T walls/jungle gyms and pounce from up there, as well as being able to climb across ceilings of map central structures or boats, including the shack. Whatever works and fits into the game.
I just would love the Alien as a killer and Ripley as a kick ass survivor.
-
I would be happy with Sarah but Ripley and the Alien would be so good.
Imagine a killer who can perch on ceilings and pounce down.
-
If 2 are left and I get caught first, I die to give them a chance at the hatch.
Saving the other survivor will depend on whether or not I have found the hatch yet.
I am most grateful when that survivor lets themselves die.
This is how we do it in the solo queue.
-
Hag does not run in circles. Dwight is the OG.
-
Do not despair he will eventually get at least an addon rework.
-
Hag and the basement are made for each other.
That being said, teamwork, flashlights, and urban evasion all counter her.
Problem for survivors is they face her so infrequently they are usually not prepared and must rely on teamwork.

I love the Hero builds. I’m still running Autodidact for healing because I want it to be a good perk SO BAD!!!
If I am not so concerned about Blood points I will swap out We are going to Live Forever for Open Handed which extends the ranges of both Bond and Kindred.
-
As Hero Dwight I run Bond, Botany Knowledge, and We are going to Live forever.
For the 4th perk I either run Borrowed time, Kindred, Leader, or Resilience.
My goal is to save and heal and to assist the team as much as possible.
Escape is a bonus but not my goal. Bloodpoints are the goal and I usually make 30k plus BP with this build as long as I am not tunneled out quickly.
-
For some reason a good Wraith bothers me the most. A good Hag is pretty scary too.
-
I had really good killer games last night on East Coast USA server. Nothing out of the ordinary.
-
"Base kit is fine" is said because so many nurses never used add ons and trained with her for years. I remember Swift 5 genning people with base Nurse. Skillful but a relic of an older version of DBD.
Killers have it better than ever now and if you were good with Nurse before.....you will still be good with Nurse, but you will have to use add ons.
-
Might be interesting to use it for the ranking system changes.
-
She is scary looking but I also think it was a bad decision to make her a follower of Nurgle.
-
I have always thought rank should be tied to hours played or devotion but yeah, prestige is not an indication of skill level, just blood points earned.
-
The Cult of Dwight has visited me a few times. I killed them all.
-
@RIP_Legion exactly. Best part is they cannot work through corrupt.
They have to hide or move closer to me.
-
@TheUnendingNightmare I get what you are saying but I play black skin Hag with monitor and abuse. Surprise is my jam.
-
I will get the head but the body is too bright and I like my hag to be less visible, not more.
-
With the new Detective's Hunch changes and all the survivors coming to trials with maps and small game, Ruin is going to be an endangered species. Not to mention inner strength users totem hunting.
Corrupt is more consistent for stopping that first gen popping fast because the survivors spawned in together.
That being said, it will still work well ....sometimes.
-
One of the most stressful games I have ever played for 1700 hours.
-
It is strange how they skirt the line between gore and cartoon violence.
I would probably buy the gore pack though.
-
I have invested quite of bit of cash and I am glad I did. They keep making the game better.
-
@arslaN I totally agree. Point is it will be even more useless now.
-
@arslaN nice humble brag but the perk has been a favorite of killers for a reason.
-
@grtf47 Every time a gen is completed nearby gens and totems are revealed.
-
@bgbomb If Ruin is a "stable choice" you are facing potato survivors.
-
@bgbomb This is the nature of the game. Some maps favor survivors more. Every time you choose a load out your are gambling it will be useful.
-
Not for long. Once the new detective's hunch goes live, Hex totems will be an endangered species for killers who do not totem hump all game.
-
You can still get gen defender as you have less gens to patrol at the start with Corrupt Intervention.
If you get lucky you can get 2 hooks in those 2 minutes and pop the gens they were working on. Not guaranteed but better than Ruin being destroyed in the first minute.
-
@Blueberry Fair enough. I still think body blocking is coming back in a big way.
-
I never use Ruin and rank up just fine. I did not even think about Inner Strength though good point.
The combination of inner strength and detectives means totems are likely not to last long in matches.
-
@Mookywolf said:
i havent seen yet, does the new Detective's Hunch show the aura of stuff around you, or around the gen that was completed?
Nearby gens and totems are revealed each time a gen is completed.
-
Whenever survivors do not like a killer, perks, or add ons, they say you have no skill.
To have skill in their eyes you must hobble yourself with every disadvantage and still win.
I remember the whole doc takes no skill meme when he came out.
-
If you only have "fun" when things are going your way, play a singleplayer game.
Since these disconnects ruin other people's games they should be discouraged in some way.
And bringing up punishment for survivors who die on first hook is a strawman.
They would never do that as that would mean bloodpoints for the killer, and the whole idea behind disconnecting is to deny points and/or to throw a tantrum.
-
I played new Legion for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by his blood point and ranking up potential. I had many games I thought I had depipped, but Legion got the Brutal. I even got a Merciless with one hatch escape.
The scoring system is kinder to Legion than other killers. In particular Clown and Michael.
I also had some good comebacks with Legion in games I thought I would lose. The add ons seem pretty weak, but overall I am enjoying the points and steady rank ups.
-
Since EGC survivors are utilizing keys way more than they used to.
I think many of them have stockpiles from before EGC where keys were not brought out nearly as often.
-
Killers have PTSD from SWF experiences and assume all losses are SWF so they feel better about it.
In many cases that assumption was correct.
-
I would love for this to be implemented.
It would be useful information as most killers would feel better about a loss if they knew it was SWF, and amazed if it was a all solo team of superstars.
-
Disconnecting survivors are the real killers.
I cannot count how many escapes I had while on death hook. Those are so satisfying, and only happened because I refused to give up.
