If he had better perks more killer mains would have bought the DLC. I feel survivors have a lot more to gain from this DLC.
-
Bond. Avoid survivors being chased and lead the killer away from the team. Work Gens together.
Botany. Counters Sloppy and killer slow heal add ons. Heal others faster.
Leader. Help destroy hex totems faster when guarded by killers. Others heal you faster. Help open gates faster.
We are going to live forever. Earn that juicy BP for safely helping your team.
-
Removing toolboxes would probably do the trick.

Dead by Daylight takes a long time to get good at, but if you put in the hours it will always surprise you. I keep getting surprised even after 1600 hours. Each match has the potential to be nuts if all the players do their best.
Ranks 20-15 cannot be re-entered during the season once you reach 14. This change made it a little better. There are very experienced players in these ranks sometimes if they are coming back after a long break from the game. These players will be returning during the double blood points next week.
It is a brutal learning curve but there are many Twitch streamers showing how they kill and survive every day. That really helped me when I first started. At the end of the day it is a party game and is best enjoyed with a light heart and no expectations of victory.

60k bp for the daily...somebody has to die.
-
Slow gen progression by hooking survivors and patrolling generators.
I would never run a perk that survivors can take from me.
Will you lose sometimes? Yes. No big deal you just move on to the next match.
-
They are actually just mad at themselves for running a hex perk. Their gamble did not pay off.
-
I would never run a perk that can be taken from me. I would rather have 4 perks every game.
-
Ripley and Alien please.
-
Hag gets results and will always be my favorite. That being said, I play them all.
-
As with the other killers that perk makes basic attacks recover faster, so no.
-
Ghostface is a better Myers. I love Myers, but you cannot beat having one hit downs so much more often, and having zero terror radius and red light stain throughout the entire match.
My advice is to get all the killers, but if I had to get one it would be Ghost over Myers.
-
I would like his chainsaw ability to automatically start when fully charged. I have missed so many saws because I let go too early. I should be looking at the survivor but instead I have to stare at the charge bar just to be sure to let go at the right moment.
This change would also prevent leatherface's from just keeping the chainsaw revving while hook camping someone.
-
Clown with BBQ, Nurses Calling, Sloppy Butcher, and Monitor and Abuse is a monster.
I enjoy playing him and the fact that he laughs after downing anyone.
-
A little out of date but still applies in regards to killer mind gaming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crgMmyoDzNQ&t=3s

After I hit around 1k hours in killer I realized no matter how I play killer there will be survivors angry about something in the post game chat. I keep killer chat closed unless there is someone I know in the post game lobby.
Playing killer is bearable for me when I play it like a single player game.
-
I have only played 30 or so matches since EGC but have got away as the last survivor most of the time. As long as you save and heal so that killer has multiple targets at the end you will be fine. If you are the only one left and cannot escape: your team failed to survive long enough and the penalty is death.
-
I thought survivors holding keys were knives for Decisive Strike.🗝️
-
I uninstalled about 2 months ago. I will probably return once dedicated servers are a thing.
-
Save your offerings for the next BP event. The loading screen of death took 3 of mine before I just said to hell with it.
Playing survivor with nothing to lose but rank makes the experience bearable.
I am avoiding using any offerings until this problem is resolved.
That being said: Killers and survivors DO NOT owe you a farm match because you played them in either role. The risk is part of the thrill of those matches.
-
I just saw a survivor deliverance off the hook and tank a leatherface chainsaw with MOM.
Very strong perk in the right situation, which seems to come up quite a bit if you are interacting with the killer.
Seeing the survivor aura does not matter if they are already at the exit gate.
-
Thing about this game is you never know what is going to happen. I have escaped many times when it seemed all hope was lost.
Every time you disconnect you are making a killer smile and making his job a hell of a lot easier.
-
When DS came out in 2016 I thought survivors holding keys were knives for DS.
-
The Entity is not entertained by your fast slaughter. Give them hope, and then finish them.
-
I play all the killers well except Huntress and Nurse. Between those 2 I am better at Huntress. At this point I just delete Nurse daily challenges. Plague I am still learning but her style is going to take some getting used to. Trying to get Adept Plague and her 3 perks are not helping much haha.
-
They tend to save quickly so trades are possible, and as a rule always try to face a wall when picking someone up. Change targets quickly and defend generators that are out in the open. As you break pallets near those gens you are more likely to catch them out of position. Try to enjoy yourself and have fun.

If you're crushing survivors for example you killed 2 guys before they escape just let them farm each other and slug the ######### out of them, should get you iridescent on chaser and malicious. You need at least 9 hooks which means you can mori 1 guy immediately and from there on out farm them preferably with dying light.
He cannot use Dying light as he is trying to get Adept achievement and must use each killer's related perks.
With the new ranking system these achievements got a lot harder. Glad the only one I need is Plague.
-
You must get a merciless victory.
-
Part of the challenge as a survivor is choosing a load out that works for your play-style regardless of who the killer is.
-
I take a break after every killer match and keep the chat closed. Focus on bloodpoints and never DC even if you are losing. Just remember the game is designed to allow the survivors to escape if they play well. Do not take it personal.

As killer main:
They disconnect because the game is unbalanced, killer side is broken, nurse 5 blinks, spirit no phase sound, instasaw, legion franx mix tape mori etc..
Idk why the devs think ds was the unique problem, just balance the killer side devs, do something usefull in your game
They disconnect because they are weak willed and childish.
Never give up. You will be much more satisfied escaping against all odds. I have had many escapes where I was on death hook. Hatch escapes crawling around, last second saves. So much opportunity for amazing moments if you just stick it out.
-
My Hag is laughing in the fog.
-
Bond or Botany would be my choices. That being said, an Exhaustion perk would probably be the majority choice.
-
I am just after blood points, and I am still earning plenty each match regardless of the Entity's take on the situation.
I am sure things will be loosened up a bit, but I like that ranking up requires more than it used to.
-
Take a break. I left for 9 months and it was a lot more fun when I came back.
-
My forum name is the same as my Steam name which is the same as my Twitch name.
I played Counterstrike back when it was a Half Life mod and would always use the Glock to shoot players from behind.
-
I got the same msg. I gave up and will try later.
-
I would rather have all perks all characters than clothing.
-
Agree with fixing infinite loading screens, 3v1s, broken lobbies.
They already know about these issues and are working on them.
-
Just slug the 3rd person forehead 🤮
-
No thanks. The perk is annoying enough already to trapping killers.
-
Many in this community have long said rank does not matter and it is too easy to rank up.
Let us give it a chance and see if we can make this system work in our favor.
I personally only want bloodpoints, so as long as I am earning a decent amount each match I am happy.

@PigMainBigBrain Thanks for understanding
I'm here to help voice the community's concerns, and discuss ways of improving the game. When people scream that something is broken with no feedback on how it could be fixed, it doesn't change anything, so thank you for bringing ideas to the table. You mentioned smurfs hopping in SWF and bullying low rank killers - how would you go about proving/preventing that, without removing people's chance to play with their friends?@Giddawid SWF should match according to the highest rank member, not the lowest. This would mitigate it at least.

Object of Obsession seems to be making a comeback.
-
The hit box is the same. I have faced good players playing her and they can still hide/juke pretty well. I think she is a great addition.
-
It just means killers with tier 1 of those perks get the range or points benefits associated with tier 3 of the perks. It is a buff to killers who have not leveled those perks to completion yet.
-
Amanda's letter Pig on the Game is pretty fun.
-
Find other survivors to heal you or be a team player and heal others. (Bond / Empathy)
Run Botany. Run Leader. Run We'll make it.
Bring a medkit.
So many options already exist for players who want to heal faster and counter killer perks and add ons.
-
Legion is short so they can hide their red light and do some nice mind games out of frenzy.
-
OP wants to be able to run Ruin as his 5th perk slot. Break your addiction to Ruin and always have 4 perks instead of 3 for the majority of your games.
