Billy charge time add ons will be looked at eventually. He is a killer still designed for how strong survivors used to be in 2016.
-
This is when it is a good idea to equip Kindred + Open handed to encourage the urban evaders.
-
Hag is strongest if played properly, but her power can be defeated with flashlights and crouching. I enjoy Clown more as I have more fun playing him. The new killer looks pretty cool but I would wait until release as they might be nerfing her.
In general I would say buy DLC with cash and use shards for bloodpoints though. DBD DLC is cheap as hell.
-
That would make a good rank bonus. 5 perks for each match you start at rank 1.
-
I have only slugged the 3rd if I can see the 4th or going for an adept achievement. Otherwise hook and book and lets the fates decide.
-
Mclean did say on his stream that Billy charge add ons will be looked at and probably changed eventually.
-
Yes I just use it for BP. I use cash for DLC or skins. I got all the perks I needed from the old shrine when it was 500 shards a pop. Getting all perks all killers and for 4 survivors was a mighty grind and it continues...
-
Let us see how the new ranking system works out before calling it a failure. I am sure they have something in mind and have put thought into the consequences.
All I can say is do your best and try to not take the game too seriously. Earning BP should be the first priority. Winning games consistently will happen eventually if you stick to it.
-
It is very situational but can be pretty cool when it works out.
-
I never use Ruin or Noed. I have more good than bad games and I have 4 perks all game.
I focus on trying to have fun and getting blood points. This makes the game much more relaxing for me as killer. I understand the frustration but this game only gets to you if you are expecting a certain result instead of going with the flow.
-
I think this is the first step to some larger change with ranking. I will just play and try to have fun and what happens happens. As long as I keep earning BP I will be happy.
-
I just wish it came up less often.
-
Praise all Dwights or face the wrath of the cult! Respect the bulge!
-
My daily challenges would involve using specific perks.
-
I like someone's guess that the smoke would trail behind the killer and force survivors out of loops.
-
Sexual Strike
The killer's embrace impales you with pleasure and dread.
Choke status effect 2/4/6 seconds as killer carries you to the hook.
-
I usually just commit to a gen until killed after clearing all totems and chests in the other parts of the map. I have better things to do with my time than extend a match forever to get 5k escape points.
-
Rushing generators is not unique to a particular country.
-
It may have to do with the snapshot of our accounts taken prior to PTB.
-
I laughed. Thank you.
-
I rarely encounter body blockers these days. It used to be way more common. Sloppy butcher and the healing nerf most likely made it less appealing.
-
I wish our characters had stats saying how many trials they were played in, how many sacrifices ect ect.
-
Franks and Dirt with any perks or no perks really.
Adept Legion was the easiest killer adept achievement for me by far.
-
Most played are whatever I get a daily for.
Least played for me are Nurse and Hag.
-
Slug, juggle, or tank with Enduring. Or take a break from killer until change is live.
-
My Dwight's leader is 100% faster actions.
-
Do not let it get to you. I am lucky enough to have all perks all killers now, but it was a long slog that included plenty of defeats. Focus on earning blood points so you can get all the perks. Try to have fun in the process. I know it can be hard but eventually something will click and you will turn the tables. Be patient and take advantage of their mistakes.
Watching this may help you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crgMmyoDzNQ

Totems explode when I pass by them with small game.
-
Once you have all perks all killers life will be better and you will be ready for any daily. Stay away from prestiging. Just use your normal killers, feed someone else the BP and eventually you will be there.
-
This is a good guide.
-
Yes, and that is why I take breaks after every match win or lose.
This game only gets to you if you really want a certain outcome.
Just go with the flow and wait for their mistakes.
-
You must assume Noed for every killer. Run Hope/small game if you want to be the counter person. If you don't want to run those perks then you just have to do totems best you can or at least remember where they were. It is part of the game and your post will not change the minds of killers that run this perk.
-
As others have mentioned Kindred is useful in ranks above 12. Borrowed time is good too. Every killer does not camp, you just have to play long enough to encounter them. You can also play killer and be the kind of killer you want to have in your survivor games.

You forgot:8) accept that playing killer is easier and less stressful
I keep seeing this meme but I only ever get stressed as a solo survivor if I bring in an item or a double bp offering. If I do not bring anything into the match there is no stress at all.
Killers bring in expensive add ons and offerings almost every match and that always raises the stakes. It also justifies the BP earned for playing the role.
-
First down and struggle DS cannot be gone soon enough. Thank you Devs!

The more merciful you are the less people you will kill so less likely to meet the entity's performance targets. Its sort of like asking can I be a postman without delivering any post.
entity's performance targets cracked me up

-
It was how I got the achievement. I feel sorry for killers trying to get 4 mories in a match these days with disconnect meta.

Killer is easier and less stressful than solo survivor. How easy each role is entirely dependant on who you are facing off against. I play both roles and Killer is way more stressful for me. Stakes go up when I play a double blood point offering or bring in items as a solo survivor but the killer is against the clock every match. I also do not run Ruin so my clock is ticking faster than the meta.
-
Make the best of the situation you are in. If you focus on earning blood points dying does not matter. It is one of the reasons I play only with Dwight perks and live forever. I help the team and earn BP doing it in solo mode.

I did and it only talks about DS not tunneling as a whole which is my problem mr. Glock. unless your referring to a different top post in which case If you could direct me there I would appreciate it.The perk change will help. If it happens to you a lot then run the perk. If you are playing killer your own actions can make it a non-issue.
-
Please read the news section top post.
-
No more first down DS, no more wiggle DS. It was a needed change. You still get a second chance if tunneled off-hook or kobe, but at least killers have a chance to earn some hook BP before you do so. Survivors will be fine and still escape plenty.
-
Player numbers are down and I think the system is matching with who is available.
-
My goal has always been all perks all killers and all perks on the survivors I use. If I ever get to the point where I have no more perks to unlock on anyone I might consider prestiging a survivor for the camouflage. Perks over skins all day.
-
I am sure that the last match was exciting and a big relief when you knew you had it.
-
Survivor is still the way to go for golden coins. I initially tried as the killer but it was happening way too slow.
-
More bloodpoints would make it better. If I did not have BBQ on all my killers I would play killer WAY less. I remember the dark days before BBQ.
-
No. At least this time you know what you are doing.

Give killers more bp for dealing with that crap.Killers already get way more bloodpoints than survivors.
Killers who get destroyed by 3-4 man SWF are lucky to break 15k during those matches.
And survivors who get destroyed by the killer are lucky to break 5k. None of this is even factoring in the difference between BBQ and WGLF.
Survivors have more matches. I play survivor and normally make 20-35k with WGLF/prove thyself and the matches are way less stressful than killer ones.

Bans due to disconnecting are handled automatically. They specifically ask that this not be reported.
