That too but that perk is getting a rework (around 2030 i think), so that might not be relevant and still to situational, and like i said, without knowledge of hatch location and no pallets it just delays it.PolarBear said:@ChesterTheMolester said:

Actually one of the main points the OP stated was getting them off the bloodweb. I don't want to earn them, because I don't want them AT ALL. They're worthless as an offering because there is zero prediction about whether or not you'll be in a situation to mori the last survivor. So either just remove the offeringoffering entirely so I stop having to waste it buying through my blood points or make the mechanic base. Literally not earning them is the whole point because nobody wants them.
Then it would make more sense to simply remove them from the game, not give killers a completely unnecessary buff.
The way i see it, its not a buff, at best QoL.
The chances of them getting away is very slim, the hook is virtually inevitable, and even if he gets really lucky they most likely do not know where the hatch is and pallets are going to be exhausted. They will not be able to get far. That or the rare instance they intentionally run towards one of those places where its impossible to hook and waits to bleed out in spite.
Only instance I can think of is that the survivor has decisive strike, but that as well is unlikely since it's at the end of the trial so they probably already have used it.

Im sorry to say that but the game has been designed with sound being an important aspect in mind. I don't see a way to change it without heavy unintended side effects, even putting aside how much time, money and effort will have to be spend to make that work. DBD might not be for her anymore.
-
Let me assume that its an oversight. DW was designed with Legion in mind who cannot perform instadowns with his power so it bugs out with powers that do.

Exactly. I've been waiting for it. He will be the only survivor after David King i will completely max out. Maybe Adam or Kate once im done, which takes a while.Vietfox said:

I usually don't run either but i noticed a huge increase in slugging this year, idk why.Vietfox said:Yeah unbreakable is too situational. Tenacity is way better and most killers don't expect it.
I don't run them, but if i did i would run tenacity. -
Yeah the slug at the end is the only one where it shines but even then you usually just get to the inevitable hatch game anyway.fluffybunny said:I've used Unbreakable while the killer was breaking a pallet in front of me lol. It's like an erotic dream.
BTW you can cause early ragequits with cypress offerings, they assune its one of the higher tiers and DC right away. -
well, you die immediatly regardless of hookstages and your chances to wiggle free are next to zero, many survivors don't even struggle at that point.Orion said:I think Cypress Memento Mori should be changed so you can kill one after the gates are powered, without restrictions (like the old Memento Mori, without needing to hook them once). It was a useless offering before and remains a useless offering now. However, giving any insta-kill to the base kit is too overpowered, IMO.
I doubt its OP or any sort of gamechanging, its just for show (and to speed up that stage). -

The cypress mori is the yellow mori, it only activates when everyone else is dead, at that point the Killer can hook you with no chance to survive anyway.Tru3Lemon said:@AlwaysInAGoodShape said:

Your suggestion, wouldn't hurt the gameplay at all, and currently the cypress mori is just for show, not for strength, however consider this;
Would seeing the mori more frequently water down the experience and special feel when using an offering mori?
imagen that a killer its camping the guy thats on the hook and some dude rescues him while hes there guess was he will get tunnel and get mori
You might confused it with another mori. -
Maybe, but that would be a bit subjective, i think we all know all moris already.AlwaysInAGoodShape said:@Tru3Lemon said:

Do you really have the numbers to prove its not worth it? Im pretty sure the best we get are numbers by super biased mains selling BS.powerbats said:This is a solution in search of a problem that really isn't that common to deserve said solution and we use the same logic why not apply it to Depip level killers?
Never heard of accurate numbers, i don't have them and you don't either. Im not asking to rebuild DBD from ground up, more like a few figures, or lines at best.
We both acknowledge that there it is a problem which scale we don't know about, and potentially a simple solution, lets leave it at that.
And to your depip Killer point, what do you mean? If something is obviously broken it deserves to be nerfed, don't imply here i said otherwise. -
Nothing stops you from hooking. Its a choice, a reward for a good game.PhantomMask20763 said:I would like to have a mori at the end of every match if I get the chance but sometimes when the survivor is dying on hook i like to go get some bps from breaking pallets and gens. I dont see what could go wrong with it

2 minutes is the time it takes it takes for a full sacrifice without chase. Are you confusing DBD with some other game or are you just really that desperate trying to sell some kool aid?Slayer said:@Tsulan said:

Killer can hook you whereever he wants with iron grasp and lets assume he wants to hook you on some stratetig hook where from you wont be able to escape if he s decent enough what is counter to that? DS Iron Grasp is weak af.
It doesn't counter DS.
DS has effectively no counters.
Enduring just shortens the stun but the survivor gets off the shoulder.
Dribbling only works for the obsession and when the hook is near + no one body blocks.
Oh and the situation you mentioned can be countered by BT.
Tunneling can be countered by BT ? Lol
Finding the first survivor takes between 30 and 60 seconds.
First Chase takes 60+ seconds. 15 seconds to carry the survivor to the hook.
Unhook right before struggling = 60 of gen repair time.
BT save = 2 hits = chase of at least 45 seconds + 15 seconds carry to hook.
Unhook right before struggling ends = almost 60 seconds + 2 hits...
At this stage the gates should be open. Body block and easy escapes.More than enough time to complete all 5 gens. Since all 5 can be repaired in 3 minutes or less.
The chase doesnt long for 60 s if youre good or play with strong addons it doesnt take 2 mins for survivor to die the game has more aspects which you seem to ignore

Or just take Thrill of the Hunt or Haunted Grounds as Trapper, put a bear trap on it and defend it, many survivors easily get baited into believing its something important, get hellbent into destroying it only to realize it was just Toth.MyNamePete said:It's also really satisfying when those sURviVors cleanse that fresh haunted grounds

One technique is to simply anticipate it and simply stop moving or even make a tiny step backwards immediatly, once learned the survivor will turn right into you for an easy, free hit.
-
If the same exploit basicly punishes them enough to make it the worst option by itself then nothing is really broken.Master said:@powerbats said:
Also any killers complaining about gen tapping need to look themselves in mirror and say to themselves I like gen tapping.Because if someone is gen tapping it means they're bad/ lazy/ a bot and you can pretty much ignore them and go for the actual good players.
Since by the time they finish that gen several minutes later you could've already downed and hooked 1-2 people.
If an exploit is just a lazy workaround, that doesnt mean that the exploit doesnt need a fix.
Let them stay dumb. -
The opposite should happen, force players to get out of their confort zone and experience the game from both sides instead of 50% of the game.Axelson said:Daily rituals:
It's so annoying when i cancel a killer daily ritual and i receive another one. The game obligates you to play something that you don't like (ex: you main killer and mostly of the times you receive survivor rituals or viceversa). When you cancel a daily ritual you should be asked something like "You want the new daily ritual to be for killer or for survivor?". If you chose killer then you will receive a random daily ritual for killer, same for survivor. You cant chose the ritual, it's random but at least you receive one for what you main.
Should give those who main one side religiously a more nuanced and better perspective. -
7 gen basement strat. Why not.

Refer to the numbers above to see if its only really good with leader and botany or broken by itself.Tru3Lemon said:@love said:
Yes, you read it correct. The new self-care buff is ridiculous. I had a game as killer, hit a survivor, lost him, and like 15 seconds later, found him fully healed up. This was repeating and repeating.. I lost the game knowing that I could have easily have won it if not for that self care buff (keep in mind that the game is supposed to be asymmetrical, meaning the killer is stronger), and seeing healed up survivors jumping around. I am aware the developers are trying to make the gameplay experience a little easier due to the amount of new players joining, but trust me.. once you reach those higher ranks, survivors become the killer. Not fun. In my honest opinion, self-care should be left as it is right now (ignoring PTB). I really like the idea of the perk colliding with Medkits though! Can I ask for your opinion guys? :chuffed:
another post complain about the new SC ppl still dont think that its not that powerful is a bit powerful combine with leader and botany but thats it you see they buff it for a reason its on the ptb just to test it for me its good and i like it cuz its just annoying that i play against a legion they have sloppy butcher and thanatophobia but also on the ptb he got buffed now i didint even see a single post saying that hes broken but SC it is? wow i can sense a faction of killer saying " spread the words that SC its broken so on live wont be in the game" if they didint put in the game that means more buff for killer and another nerf for survivors i can imagen sc not be in the game live and seen alot of legion with thanatophobia sloppy butcher BBQ or something similar now thats not balance at all and player with just play alot more on killers than survivors
Not only will they revert the healing nerf, they will basicly throw out the point of getting healed in the process, which is a buff in disguise on top. -
