Deerskin gloves and Iron Maiden is a dream to use. You lose little to no time in the chase and it's just so satisfying.

that does not mean that you are not responsible whats going on here. legit you just ignore the main problem as a forum staff , and give us no information except whining to forum member just cause they have some issues about the game.
He's not a forum staff either...he's a trusted member of the forums because he's not biased and he handles situations like this in a calm manner.

This has been one of the best patches for killers in awhile...
-
Because it wasn't related to the Q&A. The Q&A was for the most recent chapter and the mid chapter patch.
Also as @LetsPlayTogether mentions, what are they meant to do? Stay quiet and harm their teams chances?
-
First of all, now that there are dedicated servers, NAT type doesn't effect if you can play the game or not.
Second of all, they'd still be banned regardless.

Well if I'm reading it right, it now gives you a token to use it to block 1 aura reading ability now, as opposed to simply you being able to use it the entire match with no tokens, provided you are at the proper distance.
Can you send a screenshot?

To me Spirit matches are great. It really brings out the use of Iron Will and Spinechill, and her chases are unique.
As for Freddy, majority of them use Forever Freddy, a build that uses Jump Rope and Swing chains, usually paired with other slowdown perks.
Additionally, in the chase they just spam portals, making each loop impossible to run.

Playing survivor? I hope you like running into the new improved Dead zones !
Seems like a good time to get back into Rocket League, maybe try qualify for RLRS season 11

So how is comparing a buggy game to having flashbacks of being in the Vietnam war remotely acceptable?
"Oh no, my game looks funny"
And
"I cant sleep because noises remind me of watching my friends die as we fought a losing war for a country that hated us for it, and have mental issues or physical disabilities from it".
Are two DRASTICALLY different things.
Comparing game issues to being in a ######### war is distasteful and offensive to those who did serve, and belittles what they ACTUALLY go through.
But yeah, my game is broken, I guess I know what it's like to be in war. 🤷♀️
Chill dude, it was a joke which is commonly used on the internet.
-
Haven't even tried the patch, but that means all of my mains are patched...guess I'll be playing survivor for the next month instead of 50/50...
-
While I think Shirtless Myers is a good idea, I'm going to have to give it to Shirtless Myers.
-
If that's your natural instinct to not go for the save then don't. If you think that you're better off not saving someone then do that. But even with low rank team mates, saving someone does one thing for you. It buys you time.
I for one haven't been having bad matchmaking with team mates on Xbox (as for the killers rank is a different story).
-
This would be too weak as killers would notice they hadn't kicked the gen or it had gone up since they left.
-
You did what was right, and judging by her response she was a bit salty that she ended up dying.
We need more people like you in the community, trying to help people you don't even know, even after the game.
-
@Acromio Just out of curiosity, why The Nurse/The Shape?
-
In concept, Clowns power sounds great. Survivors slow down allowing hits. His power I'd negated however because survivors just drop the pallet if they're at the loop, and it's been proven that if you're not at a loop, you don't save any time by throwing a bottle.
-
For survivor, my build is balanced landing and spinechill like you, and then Iron Will and Small Game. You can switch small game if you want, but if you are worried about NoeD I'd run it.
For Legion, my build is a slowdown build. Thanataphobia, Dying light, BBQ & Chili and Hex: Ruin, with The Legion Pin add on.
I'm not a great Huntress, but my build is BBQ & Chili, Pop goes the Weasel, Iron Maiden and Nurses Calling. Any exhaustion add ons are great, and my personal favourite, Deerskin gloves. Extra hatchets are good too.
Myers is great with Infectious Fright and Monitor & Abuse. For other perks, I'd say Play with your Food and Pop goes the Weasel.
-
A decrease in static blast AND fake pallets! To me it's a no brainer.
-
Personally I'm against this. According to the developers you're not meant to be able to wiggle of the killer without help from another survivor or two, and even then it's not easy.
Boil over definitely needs a buff, and so does Iron Grasp, but this isn't the way.
-
She was rank 5 going into the match while you were rank 4.
The conditions to pip in Purple ranks is one less than it is in Red ranks.

it isnt a reward for failing though, at least not on the killlers side. Its a penalty for the survivors failing
Well it's also a penalty for survivors not doing totems, but I, even someone who has gotten every killer perk, thinks that NoeD is a perk that rewards failure. Same with DS.
-
From what I know this is taking the game hostage, I could be wrong though. Sadly there are a few people like this in the game.
@Peanits Any clue on this? Just want to make sure I'm not wrong.
-
All I want is it to be changed from "You get rewarded at the end of the game for failing." to "You get a boost at the end of the game for playing well."
Give it a nerf that rewards you for playing well. Maybe for each hook you get the exposed status effect for 15/20 seconds?
-
Majority of them have one playstyle with the same perks. A build many call Forever Freddy.
Jump rope and Swing Chains to slow down gens.
Pop goes the weasel, with many also using Thanataphobia or Dying light.
Portal spamming in chases.
The last one is the main one. Even Freddys who don't use this build just spam their portals in chases.
-
If they use pallets, yes. Otherwise no

For what it's worth, most casual modes in online games do have some sort of rank, you just don't see it. Overwatch, for example, has a hidden rating separate from your competitive rank used for quickplay. If you do well, it goes up and you get harder opponents. If you have some bad matches, it goes down and you get easier opponents. Even though you don't see a rank, there still is one.
That said, DBD isn't really a highly competitive game. Yes, there's ranks, but the extent of ranks at the moment is more or less to find you similarly skilled opponents. With that in mind, splitting the game into a competitive mode and a casual mode wouldn't be necessary.
This is also in Rocket League just wanted to add.

Waiting for someone to destroy this thread...
Before that happens, how has your day been?

Depends if you mean broken by OP or literally broken. For me its Metal. Half the time protection hits work, the other half they don't.

“Smurfing” on DBD is not really possible because the game for the largest part is a grind fest.
I can’t hop onto a new account and have access to things that I would like to practice with - meaning I have to either set up a custom or practice on the core game mode
Fair enough, I understand that.
I'd rather have what you said to Mike, made into kyf where you have all perks and add ons, some possibly restricted.

Ranked is messed up because people don’t have an outlet to practice and get comfortable with playing different things.
i hate having to try new killers without feeling like I’m throwing constantly
I just go onto a B account if I'm ever practicing.

Spinechill isn't about the bonus. It's about negating any Killer in the game to sneak up on you, stealth or otherwise. You can mind game hardcore with it as well.
It's one of the best Spirit counters.
-
Both of these I'd love.

It’s a very pointless perk, they have to be in range, and it can give false information on whether the killer is going towards you or not.
the little boost is not worth it. I used to run the perk on a regular and often times - it was a waste. It’s only okay if you’re running up against a stealth killer where you can’t hear the terror radius or a Michael.
point is, there are better speed increasing perks or perks that give you information on killer location.
I think it's great imo.
Killer looks at you for longer than a second, you know its go time. The speed boost to me isn't important, it's the knowledge.

Ever think that a casual mode might encourage others to play killer or to come back to the game because they don’t have to deal with sweaty players and the BS matchmaking system
People would still play their preferable role. Even if their was enough casual killers for each survivor, this would screw up ranked times even more.

Move dead hard and spine chill to trash tier, bump adrenaline and kindred up to S and your list is fixed
What's wrong with Spinechill?
-
Because queue times are already long, a casual mode would only increase the queue time in both modes.

Welp vaulting that window or pallet 9% faster or do that gen a little faster could make the difference , by seeing your tier list looks like u don't play aggressive as a looper but it's still good I will just make it a few changes like spine chill on B or A
I'm a decent looper. I know how to loop most tiles efficiently like Jungle Gyms, I'm in no way an agressive looper like you said.
-
@Kaiju said:
Resilience D? Sorry but i stop there
9% isn't a bug enough number imo.
-
@Peanits said:
I, for one, am really looking forward to it.
You're not the only one Peanits
-
On most loops with windows its useless. It's good on inside maps and in dedicated vaulting builds, but not alone.
-
If I'm confident I didn't depip, and the killer is clearly low rank, I'll give it to them.

@GrannyonAcid said:
Sprint Burst is probably the weakest exhaustion perk in the game. I don't see why it'd be above Lithe. If sprint burst had a button to trigger it instead of it being used on cooldown... Maybe it would be an A. But in the current state it's probably like a D. Losing tons of valuable time slow walking around the map. But I guess you might be more of a stealth player like the person above said. So if you're afraid to leave scratch marks then maybe it can be effective. But probably hurting the team.
I don't actually use Sprint Burst often, but when I do I don't walk unless a generator is nearby.
My build is Balanced Landing, Iron Will, Spine Chill and Small Game.

If Bubba holds the chainsaw - it is impossible to save the Survivor without greatly hurting the entire team..
Technically its impossible, but it can be done with alot of luck.
-
This should be bannable, as while with Bubba you can technically make a save, with this you literally can't.

@CashelP14 said:
Definitely need to lower self care to tier C. At red ranks theres nothing better for killer and worse for survivor than seeing someone use self care. Inner Strength should be a solid B or A perk. Urban needs dropped a few tiers to C I think. Resilience definitely needs to be to A because of the vault speed and the potential it brings with spine chill.
I think your tier list is definitely designed to your play style. Maybe that's why my perk placements and yours seem to be a bit off.
I put self care at A tier because how useful it can be to the survivor. Yes it buys the killer time, but if that survivor is good in a chase, then that 32 seconds was well spent.
Urban can be good and I've seen many use it effectively without being someone who does it around the map instead of doing gens.
Resilience can be good, but to me it's just not worth it as majority of killers can counter it with their power.
-
@MadArtillery said:
Stakeout is pretty low for just being a better autodidact that also helps for gens. Practically a reusable instaheal with the right medkits addons too. Can't seem to find inner strength on there which is just better self care.
I'm just after recognising alot of perks from that are missing, I'll edit the post now.

But how to achieve that? Toxicity is praised in some parts of the community. And I don't have the feeling that the devs do anything to promote a healthy community.
Problem is, the only solution is for people to mature. A handful of the community is under aged, and alot of the community are people who are 18-21, which many of think they're the best at that time.
