  • Depends on how you do it. For me I know the timing for flashbang locker saves.

You need to stand side by side with the locker (after a bit of practice you'll see the other angles you can save from). Throw down the flashbang when the survivors feet have been lifted off the floor of the locker (wait a split second since the survivors feet needs to be a bit of the floor).

For normal Flashbang saves I'm not certain. All I know is you need to do it earlier than flashlights. I'd say do it half way through the animation of the killer picking up the survivor before he hooks his arm underneath them (beginning of flashlight time).

  • I can't have sympathy for you when you've face-camped as Hag.

They at best would only be using 2 meta perks, instead of the usual 4. So I don't see where the complaints about the OP perks come in. BT only effected you because you face-camped as Hag in a 3v1!

Tbh I have no idea why they t-bagged you. Sometimes it's strategy. If they knew the Dwight was bad at the game then they could've done it to hopefully make you chase them. If you then tunnelled the Dwight out of the game then they probably did it because of that. If they did it for no reason then your right to be upset.

  • I think it says a lot when the offering for the new map has been unusable for 6 weeks now..

In my head I believe the devs know this is a horrible map to play on and don't want either side having to play on it much. This is why the map is released for "testing" but the offering isn't.

  • Hopefully it neve see's the light of day.

From what I've heard from a friend about cod modern warfare, it has basically killed his love for that game.

  • I have 780 cakes but 121 is on Laurie.

  • For me the killer and survivors would just be too boring. Would rather a bigger license or a better power.

  • For me as a survivor I do what I call a "gentleman's t-bag". This is where I just do one t-bag and leave. No spamming or anything. Just a simple look at the killer, then give them one t-bag and leave.

Otherwise a survivor dropping an item is quite nice, though not necessary unless I let them live.

  • I like BBQ a lot. Very balanced perk and encourages fun interactions/gameplay.

  • If you don't play the game enough you won't learn the totem spots/sounds they make. The survivors may have full meta builds, but doesn't mean they've played more than 300 hours.

The amount of times the killer has had a hex totem on Ironworks and no one has cleansed it is hilarious. Especially when 9/10 the hex totem spawns upstairs in the building. This is something only experienced players know, that newer players don't.

You walk to the edge of the trap range and trigger it out of lunge range.

Easy when you know it's there. Easy when the killer isn't behind you. Easy when it isn't at a hook she's camping.

I'm not joking when I say this. Everytime I face a Hag she proves to me why I despise her. Whether it be the way she camps, or the way she has traps everywhere and you have to crouch everywhere. She is extremely unfun with perks like franklin's and sloppy and has some really stupid add-ons.

She is just the worst designed, and balanced killer in the game for me.

  • I wouldn't mind the perk getting changed. I've run it every game over the event because I wanted the extra point reward but I'm happy to stop running it now.

  • Crouching won't help you mid-chase. Plus the fact that you might not know where the traps are placed then should I crouch walk around the whole map?

Hag is not balanced at all imo. Her traps shouldn't be only breakable by an item you either need to find or being in to the trial. This makes her too hard to counter or too easy which is a badly designed killer.

Well of course you found the Spirit sound bug amazing. Depending on the timing of the bug, the Spirit's power is useless and she has no counterplay against you just like a subpar killer. Since survivors are effectively able to hide behind invincibility walls (loops) a killer that doesn't outright neuter the loop's mechanics through some way or another(Nurse and ranged killers being the typical examples) have to remove information or otherwise have an uncreatable method to get a survivor, because all the survivor has to do is react, change the side and they're safe.

Made her power useless? Lol good joke.

All it did was make the Spirit have to be smarter about how she uses her power. People don't mind Nurse because at least you know she needs to be SKILLED to actually beat you at loops. Same with Billy before his pointless nerf.

  • I had every killer with max perks so I really spent the event levelling survivors. So here's what I did.

    Levelled from P2 Lv1 to P2 Lv50:

    • Ash
    • Steve
    • Quentin
    • Jill
    • Nemesis

Levelled from P3 Lv1 to P3 Max Perks

    • Elodie
    • Leon
    • Yui
    • Laurie
    • Yun-Jin
    • Bill
    • Dwight (working on now but will get him finished)

Gave my mains the new perks from the All-Kill and Resident Evil chapters:

    • Meg
    • Claudette
    • Feng
    • Kate
    • Zarina
    • Cheryl
    • Nancy

Gave all my other killers and survivors new bloodwebs.

"The phasing bug was amazing and I was really disappointed when it was removed."

This bug made her brain dead boring to play against because it was too easy to track her which also defeated the purpose of her kit.

"Some times I got lucky, other times I didn't."

This is the definition of PVP, and one of the reason's why I firmly believe that complained about killer's are complained because survivor's don't always have the 51% adavntage in chases with these problematic killers

Brain dead boring to play against? Survivors had counterplay for once. People like to feel like what they've learned from this game matters in chase, with Spirit it doesn't really.

With more time the Spirit player would've learned the rough timing of when the sound would occur and maybe move somewhere else. This actually meant for once the Spirit player had use their own experience as her to play her well. This actually would've meant she was the Hard killer I believe the devs had labelled her as.

A mind game at a T-wall is using your experience to try and figure out what the other role will do. This doesn't apply to a killer who might not even be using their power at all so therefore your just guessing, based off absolutely no information.

Also love the 51% advantage part lol

  • The problem is the lack of information.

I faced a Spirit yesterday that basically tunnelled me out of the game. I didn't have Iron Will which meant she had a lot of information on where I was after getting injured.

I did everything to attempt to counter her.

    • I continued running
    • Crouched
    • Run one way, crouched and crawled the next
    • Dropped a pallet early
    • Vaulted a window then vault immediately back

Some times I got lucky, other times I didn't. Every single time she phased I literally guessed and prayed because there was nothing I could do. 4 thousand hours and all I can do is guess. It wouldn't be as annoying if I thought the Spirit was good or took a long time learning her but she didn't. This killer was 100% not a good Spirit but you don't need to be with Spirit.

The phasing bug was amazing and I was really disappointed when it was removed.

  • Ngl I don't really care as much as normal.

This is only a week after a basically 6× event (if you were lucky). I don't think I'm going to play much during it.

Imo it's just a way of trying to keep players on the game after exhausting themselves during the event.

It's because his lullaby works in a very unconventional way, rather than being a constant theme in a certain radius like huntress' does, it functions via a bell curve. He has no lullaby at all while being within 0-8 meters, it's at medium level while being between 8-16, it reaches its peak volume starting at about 24 meters, goes back to medium starting at 30 meters and is gone starting at 40 meters. I am pretty sure these transitions actually fade in/out hence why monitor usually allows him to get a bit more of a jump on people.

It was so confusing. He was literally on the other side of the room on Hawkins from me and I couldn't hear anything. It almost felt like whatever his terror radius was, they added like 8-12 meters of Lullaby on to that.

  • I always hate hearing people say "make swf a separate mode" or "you should be able to choose to avoid swf".

Asking for swf to be a separate mode is 100% impossible. The reason? It's because a 3 man swf wouldn't be able to get a partner since if it's a separate mode then you won't get that last solo q player.

The thing everyone complains about swf is the comms but fail to acknowledge the fact that a good swf is usually made up of 4 survivors who know the game well and are good at looping.

My 4 man for example literally has a guy who hasn't spoken to us. Even though we can't communicate we know that in chase, with flashlights etc he is extremely good.

  • I would run it if I could just because of the gen notification.

Though this may sound dumb but I swear his Lullaby isn't a consistent range. I faced a Trickster the other day and I'm pretty certain he had a lower Lullaby range. Weirdly enough he was also running Monitor.

  • Couldn't disagree more lol

Don't remember the last time I tun unbreakable or DS on any of my mains

  • Depends on how good you are and the perks you run.

If your getting 20K average per game with maybe 2 stacks of WGLF you'll go through them quite quick. I'd say roughly 7 games in 2 hours also.

Use these numbers and work it out.

  • I hate her.. it's Hag.

She's so rare but when you get her it's 9/10 a sweat. They either are the 3 gen guarding killer or a camper with STBFL or a Franklin's user + trapper. There's so many perks that you can run on her which are extremely annoying to face.

    Here's a few:

    • Franklin's Demise
    • Sloppy Butcher
    • MYC
    • STBFL
    • Monitor and Abuse
    • Devour Hope (Undying)
    • Ruin (Undying)
    • Corrupt

I hate facing a Hag but her with 4 of these 8 perks is even worse.

  • There's no reason to change a perfectly balanced perk.

If it didn't have the bloodpoint bonus a lot of people (including me) wouldn't run it.

  • Well bearing in mind how many terrible Spirits I've faced where they still down good survivors in 20 seconds just because they get 1 hit then phase perfectly on them I'd say Nurse.

As long as the survivor is injured and the Spirit has good headphones + the survivor doesn't have Iron Will then you have quite easy chases.

You missunderstand the topic. It is not about 1 person escaping in a row, but rather all 4.

100 4-man escapes in a row would be definitly world record and an almost impossible task (unless the survivors use low rank accounts, then maybe doable)

Ah ok my apologies, I understand now.

I'd say it would be quite easy obviously at low ranks. At high ranks I'd also say it's not that difficult tbh if your bringing any items/add-ons you want. As long as you don't get a good Nurse then I think your good. Especially now after the Stirdor Spirit nerf.

If you can't bring items it would be tougher. I know my 4 man we basically escape every game when we actually try. We only ever really die if we're messing around. We all have 3,500+ hours (I have 4,200) so we are all good in chase.

  • No idea. I know a few years ago we had all the gens done and a door open at 3:20 but I didn't run out and the game lasted another minute.

As for escaping multiple games in a row I have no clue. I don't care how big the number is, it's not impressive. Anyone can quite easily get to 100 escapes in a row with a 4 man, keys and map offerings.

  • Some do, some don't. It's a strategy some survivors are too dumb to understand. Some with killers who don't "gen rush".

"Survivors can body-block me" as in survivors can block another survivor in. Afaik you can't hit or down another survivor. They also said "Killers can also do this", which wouldn't make sense if they were already talking about killers.

Survivor toxicity also extends to teammates, not just the killer.

Oh ok I understand now. Just completely misread it. Yes survivors can do that to other survivors which is quite toxic. Either way it seems like survivor is ultimately hit worse by someone being toxic, whether that be other teammates or the killer.

I mean, the first thing I always do on midwich is go to the third floor, easy totem, lol

It doesn't always spawns there though. I usually check underneath the fallen roof which is an excellent totem spot, unless you've played this game enough to know about it.

  • You can also only take some parts of the argument (the parts that are easier to argue) and ignore the rest.

  • Maps are part of the high risk, high reward.

There are maps like Wreckers Yard and Coal Tower where the maps are small and totems are easy to find. Coal Tower is a good example of a map where totem spots aren't bad, but well known.

You have maps like Midwitch, Lerys, Hawkins and Raccoon Police Station that are really difficult to find totems. Even include the Swamp maps in here too.

Then you have maps like Rotten Fields where your totems can be amazingly hidden in the corn if your lucky or in a random tile where they'll get cleansed quick.

If all totem spots were amazing then perks like Undying would need reworked. Unless it's an indoor map then totems aren't too hard to find because the good survivors learn the best spots and check them first.

Also to the point about survivor perks, it's a good thing they have them. This means they aren't running the meta perks everyone cries about. I'd rather see Counterforce and Small Game than Dead Hard and Unbreakable.

Survivors can body-block me for the entire match. That's much longer than 4 minutes. Killers can also do this, though so maybe toxicity is neutral.

You hit them once then you can go past them or hit them twice and down them.

    This comparison doesn't make sense.

  • Ngl I think ScottJund explained it best.

The fact a killer can force a survivor to wait in a match for 4 minutes for their bleed out timer to end is pretty bad. Nothing a survivor can do can even slightly compare to this.

The Boi Wraith needed to be buffed because of survivors trying to aggravate him.

Yea I'm happy they buffed him. I personally like killers that are easy to pick up, rather than spend a bunch of time needing to learn them.

  • I've wanted to quit the game for the past while now. There's no multiplayer game that I really like that I can leave this game for.

This is why I've been begging for a Black Ops 1 remake. Not this ######### Cold War game, but an actual proper remake. Just update the graphics, give it some good servers and let me give play.

  • People see him as the new Freddy. Easy to play while also being strong.

He also has some extremely good add-ons.

  • They did promise us that the daily shrines would last through the event so it's quite disappointing that they didn't extend it for another week.

  • I love points so I absolutely love facing a Legion.

    Otherwise it's Billy and Bubba.

  • There's no reason not to. Though if your tunnelling a good survivor for too long you will lose. It all depends on your skill vs theirs.

I will say don't come on here calling survivors toxic either if all they do is t-bag and click at you after. Also don't dc either for "gen rushing".

  • A good looking female killer?

I always wanted a version of the Bloody Mary character from The Wolf Among Us in Dbd. I always thought her design looked extremely cool. I think they could make a very good and attractive Bloody Mary if they tried.

  • Look I love getting my bloodpoints but this would be overkill

  • I'd say the same to survivors. Had 7 killers dc in 5 hours.

  • I use them when playing with mates. They're good enough that I know I'll get my money's worth while using it. Plus I know they'll bring one also.

In short, you shouldn't use it unless your playing with a friend who will use one themselves.
