Itβs also hard because all they do now is gen rush
You mean they...do their objective?
Complaining that survivors are doing generators as fast as they can is silly. It's their job.
(See, survivors? I am a fair killer! π )
-
I wish they'd just stop giving me Mori's altogether, I don't like them and never use them.
Let me trade them for a Pudding!

When some survivor forgets what killer they're facing and out of habit starts teabagging after dropping a pallet and you chuck an axe at their face, there's just no better feeling. π

I'm sorry, but I have been targeted many times, as have many other people in the game, and it is not uncommon whatsoever for TTV gamers to be targeted because they have TTV in their name. And I would say t-bagging if the killer's body was on the ground and the survivors were crouching up and down on it, but it's not. They're crouching up and down on nothing. So, I call it crouch-spamming. Kinda weird for you to bring that up, as if it would make the behavior sound worse somehow. No matter what way it's being done, it's still a simply childish behavior that does not affect actual gameplay whatsoever, and can only offend you if you choose to allow it.
Like I said in a previous post as well, I am completely fine with moris themselves--however, I am NOT fine with them being used to personally target and ruin the games of people who did nothing to deserve it, myself being one of them. I never crouch-spam, gesture or clicky flashlights, and I have been targeted just because I played properly and looped well. And like I said as well, simply having TTV on your name causes many people to get mori-ed. You can't even advertise your twitch channel without possibly being forcibly removed from the game by a first-hook mori and being rendered unable to have an interactive game experience. And to top it off, the killers who do this will typically wipe the entire team with the first-hook ebony mori, so it's not just the TTV suffering, it's the whole team.
I will say it again: I am NOT toxic in my games at any point. However, I HAVE been targeted because I played well or had a goofy name. And survivors wouldn't be able to do actual toxic behaviors, like holding the game hostage, because you would still be able to see their name at the end of the game and report them for it. I'm sorry, but crouch-spamming and gesturing is NOT toxic. It is simply childish and rude, but it does NOT affect actual gameplay in any way, shape or form.
"I got tunneled because I looped well" Ok, so you won the game easily, then? The killer couldn't do crap, because you looped them easily and your team did all the gens?
"The killer used a Mori and got a 4k, but it was because of me specifically." ...what?
Most of your posts here have made no sense. They all seem to revolve around the assumption that you're somehow extremely special and every killer notices you, and that's the only reason that unfair bad things happen to you. I think most everyone here will be glad to assure you that this is not the case.

The problem there is, If 4 people play Dwight, or even just TWO Dwights, and ONE is being toxic, or abusing glitches during the match..
..How do you report them? How do you know which Dwight was being toxic? Was bausing a glitch that froze the Killer in place? That somehow ran across the map at mach 3? That found a way to take 3 hits instead of two? I mean, you can see their names in game anymore, and there were TWO Dwights, but only ONE was glitching..
Hiding names makes it harder for people to report cheaters/toxic players, which leads to a more toxic game where people are more free to abuse cheats or glitches.
My new plan: Full SWF lobby, all with the same Steam names, all playing identical Dwights.
"Stop tunneling me!" :D

Survivors should be able to see what killer and what addons they're bringing as well.
The thing about this is that the dynamic is totally different. Some killers can be countered extremely hard by certain perks. Killers cannot really do the same, since survivors are largely all the same other than perks.
That said, I don't terribly mind if survivor names or even items are hidden from the killer pre-game. I don't think it would really affect my choices very much in most cases.

I mean I get your point. Somebody shouldn't die for equipping a Bunny cosmetic. But if survivors weren't able to be seen, moris would STILL be used, but there just wouldn't technically be a motive. So it doesn't seem to make much difference to me honestly.
Also, if you wear pink hair, or a pink bunny costume, you're MUCH easier to see on almost any map so wearing cosmetics like that is inherently risky, and people know that when they equip them.
Pretty much, yeah.
Mori's will still get used, people will still sometimes get knocked out early in a match. Blaming it on some external factor isn't going to change that.
Personally I don't care if I see the names or not, but I would still like to know if they're in a party, just for my own tracking.

When i tunnel it's usually pure coincidence
I often don't remember which survivor i hooked last and if i see someone i go get them
If that happens to be the same survivor in short succesion then that's just that
It's not always out of spite, sometimes people need to learn to take a step back and think if they really got tunneled or if they just walked into the killers arms everytime
Yeah, there's that, too.
Last night someone whined that I "tunneled" them on Legion (even though I hit all 4 survivors with frenzy several times).
Hate to break it to them, but it's not like I can tell who each person is when Frenzy is up. Just a big tracking web graphic. If you're standing still over in a corner when I just hit someone with Frenzy, I'm probably going to hit you too, it's not like you're some special snowflake that I'm going out of my way to pay attention to.

And you don't seem to grasp that it's the Killer's choice to camp or not.
A punishment takes that choice out of the Killer's hands. Suddenly, the game is saying 'You HAVE to let them get the unhook, or you suffer'. You're completely ignoring that 'adding more pressure' is leaving the Survivor to be freely unhooked by the second Survivor you KNOW is nearby. The Killer is LOSING pressure since the Survivor is now unhooked, no matter what.
You're deciding 'That unhook HAS to happen because reasons'. The Killer is in no way obligated to let Survivors unhook Survivors. Punishments that Survivors call for are pretty much claiming 'Killers should have to let us unhook our friends. Make the game force them'.
If I hook someone and see TWO survivors nearby, I have every right to stay near that hook without being punished. As I said; asking for a 'punishment' for 'facecamping' is basically saying 'Killers don't get to decide how to play' because the game is telling them 'Walk away, allow the unhook, or be punished'.
I mean, this entire community seems to be built around, "The killers aren't doing what we want, you guys need to read our survivor rulebook!" so I'm not surprised.
"Tunneling" being something that people actually unironically complain about is all the evidence we need of that.

With tunneling/camping/mori probably i'll reach 4k 80% of my game? (Probably more), but is easy mode, isnt fun for me o for survivor.
No you wouldn't, because things like "camping" are a losing strategy against any competent survivors.
It's not "easy mode", it's "idiot mode". The killer is throwing the game in the hopes the survivors will come to them rather than the other way around.
As for "tunneling", as I've said before, it's not even a real thing. Survivors need to stop blaming the killer for their inadequacies and inability to hide/escape/play well.

Why can Survivors give up by killing themselves and Killers can't?
Survivors will 99 gens and do Totems etc so the Killer has to wait longer for the match to end, which in my eyes is.... taking the game hostage.
That's not "taking the game hostage".
Killer can regress the gens, kill the survivors, and so on.

Legion can be a ton of fun, but the power ultimately ends up feeling a bit like a pubstomper.
If a SWF group refuses to separate, or a pug group doesn't "get it", then they get punished extremely hard.
But if people just separate, or on certain maps, it feels like they're just reduced to being a M1 killer with no real power who will just keep stunning themselves.
That might also just mean that I need to git gud, though.

Yes, feel free to ask around about the rank system. You know, the system that deranks you if you do TOO well in a match.
But yes, clearly it's a guidebook on "the real game".
-
I said in another thread: When Legion works, it WORKS. It can feel so oppressive, and I've had survivors say they were completely exasperated by how smothered they felt by the constant wounds, the punishment for sticking together, and the eventual snowball.
On the other hand, it often just doesn't work. At all. Then you just feel like a crappy M1 killer that just keeps stunning yourself.
Maybe that's just me not being good at it yet. Not sure!

I understand, but when I see TTV gamers in my lobby, I just play normally. Because, at the end of the day, I'm just a faceless gamer and if I want to give them a challenge, I'll try harder. It's still those killers' choice to be offended at what other people think about them.... on the internet....
I still firmly believe that it is more important to stop the Actual toxicity that is occuring, namely killers targeting survivors intentionally with first hook moris. Honestly, this matters more than someones' hurt feelings over a TTV memeing at them to their chat!
No, it doesn't matter.
You died. Great. Move on to the next game.
There's literally zero that anyone can or will do to "fix" this issue for you. Because it's not an issue. You might as well whine that someone AWP'd you in CS:GO and now you don't get to play for the entire round, so unfair!

"Doesn't want to put in the work"
Am I lying? How is that untrue? Why does tunneling exist then? Why is it so common?
Ask yourself then, why does the killer tunnel someone off hook? Why does a noob killer tunnel someone off hook instead of going for the unhooker? Because it's easier than going for the uninjured survivor. Is that a lie?
Yes, it's the logical choice, I'm not arguing with you there.
MY argument is when killers complain about it getting hit with DS.
Go ahead and tunnel, but don't come to the forums and complain about DS when you know for a fact such perk exists.
If you know it's the logical choice, then trying to paint it as somehow bad, or "noob killers" do it, or it just means they "don't want to put work in" seems absurd yes? Or do you always choose the generator that has the most work left to do on it?
As for complaining about DS, I feel like the only complaint I'd have about DS is the same one I have about BT, which is that they seem to encourage survivors to ignore the killer. Which I suppose is fine for the most part, it's when organized teams use them that it starts to feel like the killer is a bit neutered in the face of multiple "invincible" states.
But hey, the same principle applies to me. If I get beat by them, I need to up my game, not raise a fuss over it.

I'm sorry, but I'm done replying to you. You actually aren't even reading what I'm typing, or else you just can't get it into your head for whatever reason (although I have an idea). It's not just a "bad game". It's something that could easily be prevented via not allowing killers to see names in pre-lobby or in-game. And honestly, if the killer is playing fair, and I die early, that's not a "bad game" to me. I enjoy every game that I play if the killer is being a fair gamer and is not abusing things like being able to target people with moris based on their name, character or cosmetics, which is why I play the exact same way when I play killer and get plenty of points on every game. You aren't even addressing the ACTUAL POINT of my post, which is a certain mechanic being abused by toxic killers to intentionally ruin the games of specific gamers.
If I get mori-ed because someone just "wanted to use a mori" or is doing a daily, then I am perfectly fine with that. But if the killer recognizes me or a teammate and takes in a mori just to be completely and utterly toxic, and this is PREVENTABLE by hiding names until end-lobby, then that is what needs to be done.
"If the killer kills me, that's ok. But if I think they did it for a reason, that's bad."
Ah, yes, of course.

Ahh yes the penalties that you receive to your score for camping someone on the hook doesn't indicate one bit that maybe the killer is supposed to be going after other people, I guess you just know better than the devs. π
Yes, and unhooking someone with the killer right on your back gives you +1000 points, so it must be what you're supposed to do, right?
One has nothing to do with the other, don't be obtuse. You should be embarrassed to have publicly displayed such a failure of logic.

@BigBrainMegMain said:

Because you're injured.
You're 1 Hit then you down as opposed to the survivor who is doing the unhooking.
Having DS, prolongs the chase, therefore enabling me to do my job. So the killer doesn't want to put in the work and go for the unhooker, instead he wants an easy down and goes for someone like ME.
I use my DS, and prolongs the chase even further, leading to frustration because the killer's plans aren't going how he wanted them to go.
Then they come to the forums and beg the devs to nerf DS so they can have their easy downs and easy hooks.
And the cycle begins anew.
I like how you try to spin it with phrases like, "Doesn't want to put in the work".
If someone is injured and they're easy to find, that's the logical choice for the killer to go after. There's little reason for the killer to intentionally do something that has a negative effect on their goal.
If I complained that there were four gens to pick from but the survivors picked the one that was almost finished to repair because they "didn't want to put in the work" to repair one with no progress at all, I'd sound like an idiot.

Are you serious right now? The whole point of my post is killers targeting specific people because they've played against them in the past, they have TTV in their name, or they are wearing a cosmetic that the killer feels offended at. Obviously, I accept moris as part of the game, and I myself use moris for dailies (fatty 60k). And I obviously accept dying first, and not escaping.... for you to assume otherwise based on my post is completely wrong. These are all part of normal games. But I do NOT accept killers being able to personally target people whom they've played against before, or people with names or characters they dislike. This is completely unfair and I'm sorry that you actually can't see the problem with this. Although, if you've never had it happen to you, and have no empathy for other players' bad experiences, then you probably won't see my point. I entreat you to expand your mind and realize that killer toxicity ACTUALLY affects the game, and survivor "toxicity" does not. And it truly is a bummer to be wiped by a first-hook ebony mori user just because your teammate has TTV on their name.
The only way that you're being "affected" by this is the fact that you had a bad game. It happens. To everyone. Every survivor, every killer.
You're not entitled to a good game every time. You're not entitled to surviving for 15 minutes. If you died early, then too bad, move on to the next match.

Daily reminder that you being the ONLY survivior that the killer goes after for the enitre game until you die is not something you can play around LMAO, I'm a killer main and do you really think someone can just "pLaY bEtTeR!" to live? No if I was toxic trash I would follow them around and on their first hook get out the smores and tent and that would be the end of the game for them, not only does this behaviour ruin the game for the hooked survivour it ruins it for the other survivours who are now playing the "Hold left click game" instead of the ACTUAL game ya'know the one where the killer goes after different people?
There's nothing about "the real game" that says the killer has to go after different people.

Did you even read my post? The big problem is killers taking in moris just because they see someone they don't like. Tunnelling and camping are actually smaller parts of the issue, with mori-ing being the biggest part.
I'm sorry that you actually think you can escape a killer who is bent on removing you from the game, be it with a mori or tunnelling/facecamping. And even if they only catch you and everyone else escapes, they've still accomplished their goal--namely you having a trashy experience, getting few points and losing a pip.
Oh no, the killer brought a Mori!
Personally, I don't like Mori's and don't use them, but you know what? They exist. Deal with it. It's not "toxic" if a killer uses one.
And oh no, you died first? Darn, you had a bad game. Just like everyone else. What, you think you're entitled to not have those now, too?

@Hippie said:

I hate to break it to you, but crouching up and down does not give survivors any sort of gameplay advantage. They don't gain extra movement speed, they don't heal a health state, e.t.c.. People make the choice to be offended at crouch-spamming survivors and they need to realize that it is only hurting themselves to be offended at moving pixels on a screen.
You know, people got over being offended at crouch-spammers ages ago on games like CoD and Halo. The reason that killers get offended at survivors is because they feel like they are "above" the survivors and that the survivors deserve to be "punished". And when the survivors crouch-spam in the exit, the killers have some sort of mental boom because they take it so personally. Honestly, if you're that upset about the crouch-spammers, just hit them in the exit and make them leave. If you sit there and fume because they're sitting in the exit and crouching up and down, they're just going to continue doing it. I obviously disagree with crouch-spamming because I think it's childish, but it really does not affect the game itself whatsoever. And the killer retaliating with ACTUAL toxic behavior, i.e. tunnelling, mori-ing or facecamping, just makes a show of how insecure, immature and selfish the killer is.
A fair game for all players is the killer not being able to see survivors in pre-game lobby, because it is UNFAIR for the killer to target people with toxic behavior based on their name or character choice. And killer toxic behavior actually has an impact on the game.
The killer killing you isn't "toxic".
If you're consistently vulnerable enough and easy enough to catch that you can complain about "being tunneled", get better.
That's it.
-
If you're crashing that much, something is wrong on your end. Figure it out.
Also, if they just removed DC penalties for crashing, people would just figure out how to make the game crash when they felt like it. Not exactly a good solution.
-
Daily reminder if that you think you're being "tunneled", the solution is to play better.

Yes, leaving someone until fully healed is a rule I have in place for myself. I'm not saying everyone should have the fully healed rule in any way, I'm saying tunnelling is a ######### play done by ######### killers who think they aren't #########. If you want to pretend that you're playing well by going for a quick and easy down then go for it but you're always going to rely on it as you're incapable of playing any other way and when it gets taken away you will be on here bitching and moaning about how the game is too hard for killers now, even though there are plenty of killers who don't currently tunnel and do just fine.
I love how so many people on here defend tunnelling because it just highlights how many ######### killers exist in this game and how prevalent the tunnelling is and why it is a problem. It made it on to the feedback survey this time around so hopefully they start considering dealing with it now.
Hide or Die has the unhooker and unhooked go invisible for 5 seconds. Imagine the amount of killers who would be crying on here if that happened in DBD. "I can't tunnel anymore - please nerf"
Like I said before, people can't even decide what "tunneling" means. It's just some word people throw out there to complain about dying, or to make themselves feel better by saying, "Well I don't do it, only bad players do!!!"
If you are easy to find and I keep running into you, you're not being "tunneled".
If your teammate unhooks you in my face, you're not being "tunneled".
If you get unhooked and try to self-care right under the hook, you're not being "tunneled".
If you get unhooked and leave a trail of scratch marks right to the closest generator, you're not being "tunneled".
At some point survivors have to take some responsibility for poor play and stop blaming killers for playing the damn game. It gets annoying hearing everyone blaming the killer for having the audacity to take advantage of the weak spots in their play.
You can be damn sure that if I fail at chasing and get looped, three generators are getting finished and you don't hear me bitching about, "Those darn survivors are doing their job! Why don't they stop and let me do better, it's not fair!!"
The bottom line is that if a player finds themselves thinking, "I'm getting tunneled so much!" they need to stop and ask why. It's no different than asking how come you always get shot first in CS:GO. It's an indication that you have a hole in your play that you need to work on, not that other people are being unfair to you.

Sorry, but DS's passive ability doesn't make the "power" roll helpless.
You have either the option to slug, or leave them alone and go for someone else.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1258347#Comment_1258347
That's all fine and dandy, but how many times have you died at endgame when you're the last one alive?
In MY experience, I've died many, MANY times before reaching the 5 gen end game. Typically gates spawn too close to each other, thus the killer getting his 4k. I highly doubt, DOUBT your situation is normal. I run DS myself and VERY VERY rarely I get to use it during end game.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/144/M1S2PLWX33PG.png
I have DS in every single build I have. I don't like being tunneled, I don't appreciate being single targetted by the killer who just wants "an easy kill."
And it's laughable, you don't have ANYTHING to show me from your experience? Nothing at all? If this did happen to most killers, some, mostly ALL would have some sort of proof that DS ruins their games.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/549/GBPWDDPYLGMH.png
This is my Console Profile.
3 Had DS, 1 escaped.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/051/FK3GSR4G2DTI.png
But these are the more typical matches.
NO ONE had DS.
The second the survivors uses their DS on a killer they flock to the forums and cry how OP it is, how unfair that they couldn't get their easy kill. They fabricate stories on how it was "during the end game collapse and the gates were open" or how "the survivor went into the locker, what other option did I have after I chased them when they got unhooked."
Please, I've heard every single excuse. And here I am, some matches are easy, some are difficult, but never, NEVER will I say DS is unfair.
The real question then is, "Why does the killer see you as an easy kill?"
If you're the weak link, you're not being "tunneled". You're just not doing your job.
-
...and I totally misread this.
I'll see myself out.

I think I'm...rank 12? On killer. Not sure about survivor.
Steam says I've got about 90 hours in the game right now. Probably too much of that spent in menus and matchmaking, but hey. About a 70:30 split between killer:survivor. Highest level killer is 35, I probably try new ones out too often, but oh well.
Currently on a Legion kick. When Legion works, it WORKS, but it often just doesn't work. π

When you try to explain to them that the other 3 healthy people are just going to sit on gens because they know you're chasing the person who just got unhooked, they have no healing to do or anything other than gens but the killer can't understand why that is bad for the killer. Just a mindless "but I'm getting someone out of the game to add pressure"
Not really, flooring that person who got unhooked so someone has to come and heal them off the floor, whilst you chase another survivor is adding pressure but the majority of killer mains just don't have the capacity to understand that.
It is a boring conversation to have with them because they don't want to be good at the game they just want quick and easy kills.
Even the ones who say crap like "Nobody is ensuring I have fun as a killer" actually, survivors are doing what they can by queuing up and entering the game with you, they're giving you the opportunity to have a fun game and in return you tunnel the ######### out of them. The killer controls who gets to stay in a game they have queued for and who doesn't and for how long.
I am not saying you have to do 8 hooks before you kill someone. As a killer I generally leave people alone until they have been fully healed, if they refuse to heal and I come across them on a gen within 20-30 seconds, I will down them and leave them. If I come across them and they haven't been healed a minute or so later I will take that as they have refused a heal and therefore able to go back on the hook(unless the survivors are doing really bad with gens in which case I may just down this person again and leave them to heal).
If I am the Plague with people who refuse to cleanse that makes things more awkward as it is more difficult to keep track of, but again if I see them soon after being unhooked I will down them and leave. I just apply a common sense approach of an amount of time that I feel is fair for them to have played a bit more of the game and got some points before I will consider hooking again.
I'm not looking to ruin someone's game just because I'm desperate for a kill, if they escape, that is fine. These guidelines I follow for my games have taken me to rank 1 without camping or tunnelling anyone so making the excuse you can't play nicely and do well isn't true.
Don't get me wrong I have had plenty of nasty messages in the post game chat, but I can just point out how I didn't camp or tunnel so they have nothing to complain about. In almost all post game chats that have a nasty survivor mouthing off I will get at least 1 other survivor agreeing that I didn't do what I am being accused of and I played fairly.
I hate the bullshit response that includes referencing all the rules in the survivor rulebook. There isn't a load of rules to follow at all, there is one guideline "Don't play like a dick".
"As a killer I generally leave people alone until they have been fully healed"
Things like that are just made up rules that you set for yourself.
If you want to abide by them, fine. It doesn't make you better, nor does it make other players worse. I'm not a "dick" if I hear some grunting wounded David King from a mile away and hit him.
Seriously, the worst thing about this community isn't SWF, or angry post-game chat, or whatever. It's the way that everyone seems to think they have some say in how others play.

Damn, got me good for a second there. π

It's hard enough being a new player, but explain to me the reasoning behind this kind of a matchmaking setup. I consider myself okay as a level 15 killer using a level 10 Freddy, but the game must think I'm a pro since it decided to pit me against survivors that weren't even double digits and had max perks with ultra-rare add-ons.
Almost every killer match is like this for me. No wonder a majority of players prefer to play as survivor.
I feel ya. Sometimes matchmaking is just a little insane.
Don't really have any words of encouragement other than to hang in there, not every match is that bad, and sometimes rank doesn't even mean that much.
And when you finally manage to 4K that 4-man SWF group of purple-red rank people you'll feel better. :D

"Tunneling" is a silly term that just gets tossed around when someone is salty about dying.
If you're the weak link and the killer keeps finding/catching you, that's on you.
If your teammates constantly unhook you in the killers face and aren't even running BT, that's on them.
It is the killers job to kill you. It's YOUR job - not the killers - to ensure that doesn't happen. You might as well whine that your opponent "tunneled" the queen you left vulnerable in Chess.

Altruism really is one of the biggest killers. I've seen so many 1Ks turn into 3/4Ks from the perspective of both sides or games just spiral out of control as survivors mindlessly throw themselves at the killer trying to save their teammates.
Exactly.
It's a shame that the game encourages it so much, but in the "long run" it's best to think a little more before rushing in for every unhook.

It is absolutely the killers job to kill all 4 survivors. 100% agree. I get farmed off a hook, I blame my teammate (unless it was a facecamping wraith). The killer comes back and chases my injured arse over the healthy, stealthing survivor? Still my teammates fault. The killer prioritises me over the 2 healthy people bodyblocking me? I get facecamped and hard tunnelled? I get bleed out while the killer watches? No, that's just the killer being an arse and ignoring their objective to kill 1 person. And unfortunately, most of those people use that very same excuse, because hey, they secured a kill. 1 kill. So I think we should collectively change it to "It's the killers job to kill EVERYONE".
If it's any consolation, they're doing that because you're kicking their ass and they have no confidence that they can do anything.
It's the equivalent of a Terran floating their buildings to the corner of the map once they're lost in SC. π

Daily reminder that it's the killers job to kill you.
Not sure why people still persist in acting as if it's the killers job to throw you a party and make sure you have a great time or something. It's YOUR job to enjoy the game your playing.

First off, there are good and bad kinds of stress. Playing a killer can be stressful, but in a way that's a result of the challenge and rush of it.
That said, it's not often the gameplay that I find stressful (well, sometimes, like particularly egregious loops or pallets that are 4 feet apart) but the apparent expectations that everyone has of killers. Like you're an NPC that should abide by the rules they've made up. I know I can just turn off chat and ignore people, but it still nags at me thinking that everyone and their dog is watching my every move with a disapproving frown. π

Always a Legion. π
Seems like it.
Honestly though, it just feels like Legion is that kind of character. Your power can't kill anyone, so you end up wounding and repeating. Seems like that's the design.

oh, you can't run all of them? so stop complaining you stupid survivor, just die and go for your 15 min queue look for another lobby.
Psst...sometimes you actually have to rely on your gameplay to win, not just thinking that rock, paper, scissors with perks will do it for you.

It's also not tunneling if you're just the worst player on your team, so you're the one that I'm constantly seeing out in the open, constantly leaving scratches everywhere, constantly failing skill checks, and whatever else.
The number of times that I've had my first kill be that guy that you just constantly see out in the open running at full speed - who then whined that I was tunneling - must be fairly high.
-
The other solution, honestly, might just be to backload all the unhook points to the "Safe Unhook" event and not the initial unhooking. Because it sure always seems like survivors are mad thirsty for those +1000 BP.

For information purposes lot of survivors seem to think that if they get unhooked, then immediately begin working on a generator and then think that they are being tunneled. Which results in toxic behaviour.
One of the biggest issues in this game is player entitlement, it's not just survivors, there are entitled killers too. Today I was playing killer after not playing for three months. I was receiving a lot of post game toxicity from SWF groups because they thought I tunneled one of their friends despite the reason I went after them was due to them working on a generator.
I play survivor more then I play killer, and I'm also a better survivor then I am as a killer, which makes me a survivor main. Not to mention I have Jake as my profile avatar.
It's funny because I don't think they even see the irony of the situation. You felt the need to comment about how you're a survivor main because of how people would just dismiss you as a killer main, and they immediately jumped on you to say that you're probably a killer. :D
