I confirm that this also happens as killer when you down Carlos or Sheva and you're far from them (they step on a trap, get hit with a hatchet).
-
I was with Bubba and I was using Tinkerer. As I approach the Tinkerer'd gen attempting to use my chainsaw, I zoom away and the 2 survivors working on it looked at me from the distance. I had to quit the match.
-
This is what they said about it:
-
They weren't working. They should get fixed in the next patch.
-
You're welcome ^^
-
Page 1 will remain there until the event finishes in early November if it's like every other event Tome
-
I see no reason to say no to this.
-
I remember this happened a few months ago too when the Oni used his special attack (his rush attack) instead of a basic attack and Devour Hope got revealed early.
-
-
I get what you mean and I fell for it too at the beginning. I would just love to have the exact day and that's it instead of a countdown, honestly.
-
When it says 1 day it means 1 day, 23 hours and 59 minutes.
-
Just leave!
-
That's unlucky. Try again.
-
As killer i just use save the best for last to not respect dead hard at all. Since endurance is pretty common now on survivors, the best strategy is to hit them no matter what they have to gain a stack. Not only that, many survivors tend to bodyblock the killer after they get unhooked. With save the best for last I still hit them to get a stack, i suggest you to use it in case you have trouble.
-
Don't worry. If you're NOT cheating you don't even have to think of getting banned. Just submit a report of you having perks you haven't equipped and you're fine.
-
A few months ago I had a survivor cheater that gave to me (killer) free pentimento even when I didn't have the perk ๐
I noticed it late game since I saw a white totem aura and then I realized what was going on.
-
I was playing survivor and there were 3 of us downed, I was the only one up. I magically see someone getting up by himself and in the lobby there was no boon or unbreakable to make it happen.
-
It's more of players tier list

Gonna be honest, I have never seen anyone say that DS would be used offensively if it got its 5 seconds back.
it was used very offensively just like new base kit bt/off the record. People were trying to get your attention as you were chasing someone else and then they hopped in a locker to force the stun.
-
They're humans at the end of the day. Not robots ๐ค

And she got banned. Next.

If that's what the perk did, I wouldn't even make it a Scourge Hook. It's already easy enough to counter the scream.
If the killer doesn't have Dead Man's Switch, even if you don't let go from the gen and you scream, the killer can't see your location if you're screaming nor the gen exploding. Its really pointless at this point letting go from the gen or continuing working if the result is the same.
-
Unpopular opinion: pain res shouldn't remove gen progress if a survivor let go from the gen as killer is hooking.
Let's say I know that the killer has pain resonance. I work on the gen, the killer hooks someone else, I get punished by having 15% gen progress removed.
Now let's say I know the killer has pain resonance BUT I quickly stop working on the gen as the killer is hooking. Do I deserve 15% progress being removed?
-
Killer isn't op if you know how to play. If you lose as survivor it's mostly because you have clueless people in your team.
-
Another way would be to blink as nurse.
-
For me the rift isn't too grindy since I always get it done before level 3 comes out. Now maybe with extra levels I can finish it after level 3 comes out. Remember that they also give us extra days compared to the past. Before it was 70 days, now it's 85.
-
Oh that's why many people disconnect after they hear a nurse blink.
-
Yeah I get that too these couple of days. I never go full meta but now I feel forced to. I got DS, dead hard, off the record and adrenaline. It shouldn't be THAT hard to get a win ๐ฃ
-
Haven't seen this, yet. I can immagine it's annoying.
-
Rule number 1 of solo Q: never bring items, add-ons or offerings.
-
Dying with 863 points really means that you haven't been able to run forward by trying to lose line of sight with her.
A very good huntress can close a chase in 5 of less seconds tho. It depends also on the map.
-
They say that his new outfit from the rift is completely silent. I still haven't managed to go against him to test if it's op or not.
-
The other day it took me 30 mins to spen 3.5 mil bloodpoints.
-
I heard it might be because of many people experiencing crashes during the event.
-
Insidious huntress ๐
-
I consider a win when I complete a Tome challenge or when I have fun with people involved in the match.
After that, as killer I consider a win even 8 or 9 hooks with 1 kill because I actually have chases with people multiple times instead of tunneling or camping the same 1 or 2 and get bored. As survivor, I play as a team so if 3 escapes and I die, it's still a win.

Why would that matter, if you'd still see it in the language you have your game set?
I'm sure he's talking about voice chat.
-
I just use inner strength to heal myself in 8 seconds no matter if killer has sloppy or any slowdown on healing. I use We'll make it to heal survivors in 8 seconds (10 with slowdowns) no matter what killer has.
-
That would work... if everyone spoke the same language.
-
Playing killer on controller with this game should be illegal. It's more mouse and keyboard friendly than controller, which of course sucks for controller friendos.
-
Oh yeah. I just noticed it. It's more bright also than it should be.

Honestly, at this point I think they might have tried to sneak the disabled DC penalties so that people getting disconnected could queue up again, and hopefully no one would notice and abuse it
Which I wouldn't blame them for
But also apparently didn't work if people are talking about it in the forums haha !
That's unlucky if it was their intention. But sooner or later people will notice it.

There is no in game 'REPORT' like there usually was. For players with anonimity switched on their is only 'BLOCK'.
You can report them the exact same way you do with all players. There's a ๐๐ป/๐๐ป button that makes you do that, even with anonymous mode on.
-
@ZVom said:
Now it works like it should for killers by the design. Survivors still should get penalized for leaving
I just think penalties should disable after 10 mins in the match.
-
@HugTheHag said:
I think a lot of people had issues with the game crashing from the new update, maybe it's because of that ?
It would be nice to know why, tho. I thought Devs said that they want to be more opened with people and that they'd tell us everything when they do something.
-
Yeah, I found 3 hackers in the past 12 days. But I think autoban is bad since it can get abused easily. If you're playing nurse you'll get a ban immediately ๐
-
Isn't it exactly the same as what they showed? I can't see the difference. If you see it more bright it's because of the lighting in the lobby, maybe.
-
I remember you could also get glyphs while cloaked.
-
I say gg only when there was actual gameplay from both sides.
If survivors just do gens and leave and I get only 3 hooks, there is no gameplay since they sit on gens and leave. I move on. If I try to defend some gens and they still manage to do them, I can say gg since I got outplayed.
If the killer just camps all game or tunnels when there's no reason to, I just move on. If he was forced to do that, I notice it, say gg and move on.
If survivors actually want to have chases, I'm happy for it. Even if I "lose" with 8 hooks no kills, I'm happy for some chases I may have had in the match. I will say gg.
If I brutally stomp all 4 survivors, I just can't say gg since I know it feels bad from their side to take all of that + the gg at the end.
If the killer is really good with his power, he knows how to play, he's experienced in what he's doing, even if I die I will say gg.
If the killer is a bit new, he misses a few attacks and he's having a hard time winning, I may give him a kill in end game and say <3
To answer to your topic: I see people say gg mostly when they brutally stomp the opposite side. Not when there was actual gameplay, sadly.
-
I use flashlights to blind the killer and they do their job. I click, I blind, turn off and move on. I don't know what can you find "clunky" about this except the aim which is a known issue that will be fixed eventually.
