Of course it was easy. It's an event, not a challenge.

OP's "point" is that it should be harder for Killers, because everyone should struggle to get free cosmetics.

Who said that? The event is an expedient to get more people playing and potentially new ones interested with the idea of getting free stuff, it's not meant to be hard.

A challenge might be neat in other games, but with this community odds are you'd get 3 kills and almost have a challenge point when the last guy DCs, leaving you with no challenge point and some bloodpoints.

Also this. Anyone that tried to get the Evil Incarnate achievement knows the struggle.

Not everyone, got it first try. :p

Ha! 5 token Devour Hope is def hard mode. I pray for the killers RNG trying to complete this challenge

I've only done this once on Pig, prior to completing my build for her, and making it an event would just cause survivors to cleanse the totem and deny you every game.

It could be all kinds of challenges in a row.
    Getting a 4K with a 5-T H: DH would be like challenge #3.
And you'd have to do like 7 different challenges to then unlock it.

  • IF voice chat were to ever be implemented, i'd like the devs to be able to see how many people are muted and how many people have others muted.

I'd make the sound of footsteps from Survivors while running MUCH louder.
Sorry if you disagree, but to me, when it's night, which is the time where things usually calm down outside in terms of sound, it only enhances the noises that do occur.

Well, I feel like there would be better ways of going about tracking like that. Sadly, I don't think making footsteps louder would fix anything.

I'm not talking about it fixing anything.
I just feel they should be much louder.

I'm not really disagreeing entirely with the idea, but to be fair, in some maps they actually are quite loud. (Like Lery's and Gideon.)

    That's good. :p

That last part is subjective, i like the looks of both cosmetics.
As for how difficult it is to get to 50 & 90, it's not.
Neither is difficult, but Survivor is simply more tedious.

If you want difficult-to-gain rewards, request the devs to make challenges like:
Survive after being hooked once while running No Mither.
    or
Kill all 4 Survivors using the 5-Token bonus on Hex: Devour Hope.

This would be great actually, but then the perk would have to be unlocked for the event time for every killer.

Tbh, that doesn't seem bad to me.
If you don't have it on your selected character, just have it say: Unlocked until the end of the event.
Gives them a GREAT opportunity to test if they actually like the Perk as well.

How are we even supposed to make friends on this game?

Unless you've never made a friend, which would be kinda sad, i shouldn't have tell you how to make friends.

But it's not OP at all.

It shouldn't be, OP things are bad

that said, why the [BAD WORD] survivors have 5 of OP perks, makes me sad

I know it shouldn't be OP, i agree with that.
But it shouldn't be useless either.

Seriously, you can't convince me that it's OP.
It's 1 stack of Play With Your Food, but it's on a timer and can only be activated by hooking someone.
It's a Bloodlust 1, but won't activate most of the time when you'll need it.
The only time it could serve SOME purpose is if someone's stupid enough to show themselves to you, in the open, without anything nearby to help them, right after you hook them.
And even then, it takes 10 seconds before the 5% bonus movement speed even activates, giving them 10 seconds already to get to a loop or pallet.

    It's a horrid bonus.

I understand what you mean now. I thought you meant his/her power was to create a fake gen not a perk. MB.

Ew no, that as a Power would be bad. :p

  • @Sarief said:
well, just for your info, the bonus of movement speed is OP
the bonus for 10 seconds is seriously OP in right hands

also it does STACK with 3rd and 5th token bonuses.
so imagine a killer who can run very fast, one hit KO AND mori you. Looks scary

except when totems are all done in 1 minute

I know they stack, it's my favorite Perk.

Secondly, they'd have 2 other unique Perks, all the other Killers' Teachables and the universal Perks to their disposal.

I just don't think it would be that versatile, the power of the killer helps greatly towards killing survivors, plus they have 3 teachable perks not 2.

In fact, i'd go so far as to say he might prefer it this way: Every 5-10 minutes, he gets 4 people to kill.

He doesnt feel though, clown and leather feep emotions.

Exactly, so there'd practically be no problem making him a Killer.

It, the Generator, behaves EXACTLY like other Generators, there's absolutely nothing different about it.
Except that, once the repairs on it are finished, instead of the Generator turning on, the Entity takes it up into the sky and the amount of Generators left to repair does not go down.

I mean... I get it would waste time but that killer would be totally powerless after its been used, a team of 4 could quickly complete the first gen and it could be that one

Besides, if you just took a few seconds to cleanse a Dull Totem if you see one, the Perk and its threat is nonexistant.

I've always though that could be interesting, but I can mostly just see it being used to block the basement stairs so the killer can't use it. Might be interesting if you could swing at it to destroy it, making it a punishing if you aren't paying attention, but negligible if you are.

Though my concern would be lower resolutions. If someone has to lower their resolution scale for performance issues, it might make it hard to see a thin tripwire.

Well for the first issue you stated, just make it not placeable on basement stairs and not too close to the beginning and end of the steps, like how you're not allowed to trap directly under the hook.

  • To increase the almost 5K?
Yeah, i don't think the devs wanna give you THAT many BPs per match.

  • No!
    REEEEE's in baby voice

  • I think Relief is its favorite choice, coincides well with hope, which is its favored dish.

  • The event is #########, since more than enough people can't even play.
Is the content good? Sure, i got in at 2 points so far and it's been fine for me thus far.
Still doesn't deny the fact that the game locks out a lot of people.

I only used Hillbilly. I needed to get around fast cause all them Survivors be genrushing the special Generators.
Used Carburetor Tuning Guide for charge reduction + other bonuses, and The Thompson's Mix for cooldown- & charge reduction.
Agitation + Iron Grasp to put them on event hooks no matter what.
Barbecue & Chili to get to others quickly. (Cause, again, they be genrushing.)
Hangman's Trick to prevent trolls from trolling.
I considered Enduring at one point, but it's not that horrible when your goal is to just hook once, you'll pull that off without Enduring.

So have any of you gotten any of the event cosmetics yet? I know I haven't... Kinda hard at times because of DS and how far hooks spawn. While on the survivor side dealing with campers on the special gens but all and all if I keep at it I'm sure I'll get them.

I managed to sneak my way past the connection error on day 2 of the event and got the Killer cosmetic the same day.

Yeah, spoiler alert: The Killer cosmetic ain't hard to get at all.

Just slap on Agitation (the most important one) & Iron Grasp and you're good to go.
Hangman's Trick isn't required, but if you verse sabotage Survivors, this is arguably more important than Agitation, so i had it on as standard.

Honestly, Decisive Strike isn't that huge of a problem to get the cosmetic, and here's why...
You're going for first hookings, not full sacrifices.
If someone uses DS on you, sure it sucks, but you should mostly still have enough time to get them again.

Survivor isn't hard to get, it's just tedious.
I run (if i have them (which i mostly do)) BNPs on the Engineer's Toolbox with Socket Swivels as an extra and repair the ######### out of them.
Oh, and i run the Offering if i have it of course.
But even then, only getting 2-4 on average at the end of the match makes it much more tedious than Killer.

  • @MegaWaffle said:
Interesting concept but it removes any sort of play to increase or decrease the perks effectiveness since it falls to RNG.

Right, the devs really want to keep the RNG element to Hexes, so i'd try to make it different but keep the element they want to keep.
Why suggest something they'd never consider, right?

Yeah, but what do you want to discuss? Unless you use an offering for a certain map, you don´t know where you go. Coordinating the sabotage of hooks is also difficult. Maybe perks like We´ll make it. But they also get a tooltip.

Even if i play in SWF, i rarely discuss a tactic. I play SWF just for the laughs.

Coordinating sabotaging Hooks actually ain't difficul at all, randoms or SWF.
Perks like We'll Make It, Borrowed Time, Obsession Perks, heck, even Resilience can be talked about to use certain tactics.

Good for you that you don't talk tactics, no one's gonna say you should.
