Sometimes i am enthusiastic and try to make BP without killing.
Sometimes i'm impatient and just try to kill ASAP to get a normal match.
I don't mind the result either: Whether i kill all 3/2/1 or if they Hatch-escape, as long as the match is gone.
-
Like usual: I don't mind the Perk that much and i've actually managed to counter it a couple of times with Spirit Fury.
But lately all i see is this being run with other "delay the Killer" Perks, and it's just not healthy on M1 Killers.
You hit someone, MoM activates, you gotta catch up.
Then you hit the other guy, MoM activates, you gotta catch up.
Then you hit the other guy, MoM activates, you gotta catch up.
Then you hit the last guy, MoM activates, you gotta catch up.
(If that felt unnecessarily repetitive to write down, that's cause it's also repetitive to encounter.)
And of course i left out what other 3 meta Perks they could be running.
I'm a Wraith main, and i really don't mind MoM all that much.
It's the sheer quantity i encounter that annoys me and its combination with other Perks, genrush & insta-heal Items.

I too wonder who are the most successful/least successful based on rank type, but it could be entirely possible that the data is either less clear the further you segment it, or that those 3 killers (hag, trapper, Billy) just dominate regardless of rank type?
On a related note, real surprised pig/Freddy were not the least successful killers, based on forum feedback.
Either Plague is too new, or she really is bad once Survivors figured her out.
Can't say as i don't even have her yet, but those seem the main possibilities.
-
Who didn't believe you?
And you said that?
-
Those statistics are a good indicator they need to go to other Perks and mess around with those.
Aside from NOED, i don't hear complaints about the other 4 Perks that often, so buffing others should be fine with them.
-
Stable.
I don't see the point in hot cosmetics when you move at 5 FPS.
-
Pretty sure NOED gained the most outrage so far, but whatever.
-
They're not coming here to say no SO THEY MUST BE DOING THAT! ☠️
/sarcasm btw.

some games have password-protected rooms to ensure privacy
we have SWF to partially enhance privacy but solo matches dont
Some games.
This isn't one of them.

@Boss I did get full stacks on it for last 3rd of the match but couldn't bring myself to mori them and just kept hooking them until final hook (more points anyway), felt a little bad for them especially how fast the game fell out from under them given a Myers with dead rabbit on Lery's and not needing exposed with a great totem spawn.
What are the other 2, if BBQ is one?
The other 2 are completely dependant on what Killer I play, but I've been maining Wraith lately, so I chose the combination of Enduring & Spirit Fury.
Anything that helps with chases is a great option on him.
-
*runs, btw

@Judith Btw, i'd TOTALLY buy The Tank from Left 4 Dead if they ever decide to add that.
I just wanna hear that classic Tank scream.
I bet he'd be able to destroy Pallets with his main attack. (And be balanced around that, of course.)
-
That'd be cool.
Now to be able to scrap Items, Add-ons & Offerings you don't want for like 5% of the original cost.
-
I never liked either.
NOED is an endgame Perk.
I never run an endgame Perk.
Ruin always makes them go for my Totems.
And that's definitely not a thing i want with Devour Hope, which i always run.

Good point. I got LF for bbq only. Shrine is not reliable for getting good perks unless you can wait forever. It is weird tho that we buy characters for their perks, it is not right.
"Shrine is not reliable"
My thoughts exactly.
Sometimes it's the other way around though.
I bought Nightmare and i never liked any of his Perks.
But i love how he plays.
-
If the Perks are good.

Sometimes.

Is the survey only for PTB players?
Idk where to find it.
Previously you could participate in the survey without doing PTB, so i wonder if they changed that.
-
This would allow me to permanently lock in Devour Hope while i can equip another one to help me with making it get Tokens.
Naturally, i'd love to have this.

Yes, definitely she should be able to regain her traps.
In a recent trial my head popped in the middle of the Temple of Purgation. While the blood and empty trap provided for a dramatic scene, it would be great if the Pig could collect the trap. It would add for some more (fun) game time. 🐷
Has anyone else suggested this? Gotta get the devs attention on this since she's in testing. 🐽
I'm here quite often, and i haven't seen one.
Of course i could've missed it, but if it is something desired by enough people, it would've stayed up and i'd eventually see it.
Long story short, i bet i'm the first to suggest this on this forum.
Anyway, it wouldn't be an equal buff compared to the nerfs accompanied by the End Game Collapse update, but it'd still be good for her to have.
-
Assuming he's gonna be a thing, we can only hope he'll be.
-
I can never be 100% sure.
But things like bugs negatively affecting Killers taking way longer to fix, and the ######### Howling Grounds "balance" patch certainly don't help me think they're not biased.
-
Suggested before, but not a bad one.
Though i think the Offerings that benefit some/all other Survivors (BP, Luck, spawning together) should still be shown to those selected Survivors, so they know what they benefit from.
-
Well i don't have a Terror Radius, so that's one aspect of his Power wasted on me.
The Shock Therapy attack...Idk, i don't need anyone to go mad.
Plus it doesn't work on electronics (surprisingly enough), evident when trying to shock Generators.
Idk, it just seems kinda useless for me.
Btw, good for you if you can make use of it! I can't.
-
I'm pretty sure they already know what's wrong.
The question is: Will Mcote view it as an issue so that they're allowed to fix them? 🤣

I avoided the comments to write this comment, whether you believe that or not is up to you as i can't prove to you i didn't read them.
But i think she's down in the grass.
I see some textures going through some parts of the grass.
Plus the fact that you removed the health status of all Survivors makes me suspect she is in the Dying state, and thus she can lie down there.

@Boss Thank you for bringing the devour hope love, I too do the pretend it's not there style and I had a "the stars have aligned" match where it was extremely well hidden, I was on Lery's as Myers and the game went from genrush to slaughter as soon as it went off.
@Yamaoka I did think initially PWYF was really situational but I tried it on a spirit the other night and it was AMAZING I was completely surprised, I guess trying it on a Mikey eons ago when first starting out made it look worse but I can definitely see the potential in it now.
The other 3 Perks i prefer to run alongside it are ones that work well with Devour Hope, but are also great Perks without it.
Needless to say, Barbecue & Chili is one of them.
Killing with it is awesome of course, and puts extreme pressure on the rest, but i'm still of the opinion that being able to 1-hit all the time is way stronger, especially on surprise Killers like Wraith & Shape.
-
I don't know either movies, so i'll go with Ghostface.
-
WROITH!
-
A vote down, huh?
Now i miss the LOL even more.
-
Getting kills with Devour Hope.
-
Most used Killers based on ranks.
I want you to show us how much 2-3 Killers are used in high ranks.

Again: It wont, because last SV can jump in without fear of grabbing. Last Survivor wont need Key if he finds it first. Last SV always gets free jump on open hatch.
So they CAN'T interrupt.
Then what's the point of the thread?
-
One of them probably made you recover from Exhaustion.
-
Yes.
-
Isn't that the point of Killer Powers?
I mean yeah, i agree he could use some love by now.
But they're all supposed to act different.
And with Killers being added every now and then, it'll eventually have 2 Killers who seem completely different.
-
That'll bring hatch standoffs back.
No thanks.
-
Would Plunderer's Instinct reduce that percentage back to 0?

I don't rely on statistic like that if I'm to be honest.
If we're going by that kind of statistic:
https://steamcommunity.com/stats/221910/achievements
Only 68.8% of players are able to hit the space bar to get the "you can't jump" achievement in the Stanley Parable. All you have to do is push the space bar in game at any point. That's literally it.
That's a pretty bad comparison as most endings don't even have a part where it seems like you have to jump.
Also, what i said is just a fact.
You can't play this game offline, so you'll have to earn achievements.
If 10% don't reach rank 10, then 10% don't reach rank 10.
-
Anti-hostage is nice, but you'd also be nerfing the basement.
Being able to hold someone down is always great for insta-downs, and even regular hits will make them waste some time.
And of course the special case of killing an RBT Survivor.
Basement stairs wider?
Okay, sure.
But what can it get in exchange?
-
While i'd like to see...hear more music, the next buyable aesthetic thing i'd love to see first is new kill animations.

aaand wraith cant turn invisible anymore during endgame / interact with things while cloaked.
also, his perfect invisibility when standing still was removed and his movement speed while cloaked is no longer higher than normal.
there you go, fixed it ^^ wraith no longer OP :D
-
I'd say the most balanced Killers should meet these criteria...
- They must average 2 kills on the highest rank.
- They must not rely on Add-ons to achieve this average.
- Their Add-ons mustn't boost them to consistently gain all kills, but having them shake up the average kill count is definitely not bad. (This is assuming the Survivors don't run Items & Perks btw.)
Yes, i count Add-ons in their criteria. It's part of their power after all.
I don't count Perks. They're FAR too special to just apply a criteria or 2, i'd have to determine those Perk by Perk, which i really don't feel like doing right now.

@Milo said:
Okayy - but then we need a replacement for Wraith's Teachable! Any ideas?
Surprise!
When a Survivor is within 8 meters of your current location, your terror radius is set to 0.
Nope, this isn't serious.
-
Rest in Entity.
-
I do think it's a good idea to ban them.
Cause, even though i do notice an increase, there's still loads of people i encounter who just don't DC.
And "loads of people" is more than enough for me to play with.
Plus, once they get banned, it's temporary anyway unless they were bad boys before.
They'll come back and not do it so frequent again.
Right now, if you ask me, bans for DCs just don't happen enough.
