Well they don't have to.
I make deliveries, but i don't go deliver in my spare time.
-
Seems easy to activate after being unhooked.
-
It punishes Altruism-hungry Survivors pretty hard.
Especially Cannibal with multi-hits & Wraith and Insidious to ignore Borrowed Time.
-
Ohhhhhhh my!
If there was ever anything that needs a highlight on stream, it's this.
-
Just learned EasyAntiCheat was bought by Epic late last year.
I never learned about business, so idk if that is a factor to consider...
-
As someone who doesn't play Survivor anymore & who hasn't played her yet, i think her vomit should stay on the ground and either make Survivors slower or make them slip when walking on it for too long. (Running would decrease the time required to slip, crouch-movement would increase the time required to slip up to infinite.)
-
Going from Prestige 0 to Prestige 1 will now make the Bloodweb spawn 2 Perks if there was gonna be 1 originally & 3 if there were gonna be 2 originally.
Going from Prestige 1 to Prestige 2 will now allow you to buy 2 Perks, regardless of how many there are.
The Entity will still consume the 3rd Perk once you buy the second one, if a 3rd is present.
The Entity can still randomly consume a Perk if it just happens to spawn close to it.
Going from Prestige 2 to Prestige 3 will now make the Bloodweb spawn 3 Perks if there were gonna be 2 & 4 if there were gonna be 3.
Going from Prestige 2 to Prestige 3 will also allow you to buy 3 Perks, regardless of how many there are.
The Entity will still consume the 4th Perk once you buy the second one, if a 4th is present.
The Entity can still randomly consume a Perk if it just happens to spawn close to it.
Idk.
-
The Killer can see them because the Survivors can talk to eachother and plan ahead.
It's an intended advantage and both sides have one.
Heck, if both were removed, SWF can still benefit from it with their own programs for chatting.

Sweet, got mentioned in this post! 🤗

It does not remove the lullaby.

Oh, you are just evil! 😈

I used to always leave the first Dull Totem i find, then cleanse any others i can find.
Then when the Generators were done, i'd go back to that first one and hope it ended up there.
That way, i didn't have to wonder where the last Dull Totem could be and i'd get more points for cleansing it.
DEFINITELY not a sure thing every time, but it's not a bad strat when i didn't run a Map or Small Game.
-
The mere concept of not having to depend on others to heal is why it's so popular.
You'd need to drastically nerf this Perk or change its concept to push people away from it.
-
Well there's already players out there who will rage at you if you stay within 2 kilometers of the hook for longer than 0.0000023 seconds.
So i guess they just think they have an actual excuse to complain about you now.
-
Welcome to 2019.
-
If they're too inconsistent, then they're doing what they're designed to do.
Frankly, if someone came on here saying: "Wow, i got 3 Ebony Moris 72 Bloodwebs in a row!"
You can bet we'd see Bloodweb fixes next patch.

I mean if you looked at my post, my perk would take away all survivor related audio. the only benefit would be having no terror radius (or an incredibly small one), and quieter weapon/power audio. meaning you'd have to visually find each survivor. no locker noises, no footsteps, no breathing moaning screaming nothing. i think that would be a good difficulty perk. You gain the ability to jumpscare and suprise survivors easier, but lose the ability to track and find them
Black-circle pop-ups are not audio.
If i make someone's Madness increase a tier, i won't hear it, but i'll still see it, right?
-
That sounds like fun!
And sounds like it'd fit right into who he is.

Do not get me wrong. I really want some buffs for the Pig. I just don't think this is a good way to do it.
It's all good.
Frankly, it's already nice to have a discussion that DOESN'T turn into insults or odd reasonings. 😊
-
Well Wraith has "The Beast" - Soot.
Hillbilly & Cannibal have Speed Limiter, though that Add-on is situationally stronger on Cannibal.
Trapper has the no-damage Add-on.
There's probably others i can't think of right now.
I don't think we're in need of a Perk which does this.
I mean, it would be difficult to add anyway.
Have a Perk that makes the Terror Radius much bigger without benefits?
Doctor is happy.
Have a Perk that makes you have to deal an extra hit to down them, but doesn't make them have to heal another health state?
Hillbilly doesn't care. (Mostly.)
Have a Perk that doesn't allow you to equip Add-ons?
Nurse doesn't care. (Mostly.)
It's not easy making a Perk that can fulfill all roles.
Well, not for me. Maybe it's easy for you, reader.

But you still have more to use, and now you have one less Survivor to worry about, which would arguably make the time waste more effective in spite of having one less Trap to work with.
True.
And you do make good points.
But idk, i just don't see it as a bad thing for her to have.
Also, if a mod or dev or whatever were to suddenly swoop in and say it actually IS intended, then we're done here, i'm fine with that. 😋

Yes I think that alone would help her a lot. Even if they get rid of the helmet at the second box 1st + 2nd box + travel time will be good for her, and this is the worst case scenario.
It won't make her an instant top tier killer but it is still an improvement.
The reason why a lot of pig mains use their helmets at the end of the trial is because her power is really unreliable.
I really hope they make the necessary changes but I am not sure tbh. Low rank survivors give bad killers easy kills and make the low and mid tier killers look viable. Look at the clown, he has the lowest kill rate but it is 50% which is considered as balanced.
Given the fact that only 10.2% of PC players make it to rank 10 as Survivor, i'm not surprised he ended up with that number.
Sounds good for her overall.
Btw, they make it so they can escape with an inactive RBT, right?
So saving it up for after the Generators won't do anything anymore, right?
-
You get them from leveling your player level.
So you'd need to see how you level ASAP.
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Player_Account_Level
Experience Points
Experience Points or XP are how one levels up their account. They are obtained after each trial and are calculated depending on the following factors:
- Time played in the trial
- Highest Emblem Quality
- 18 XP for obtaining at least 1 Iridescent Emblem
- 12 XP for obtaining at least 1 Gold Emblem
- 6 XP for obtaining at least 1 Silver Emblem
There is also a "First Game of the Day" bonus (300 XP), that can be obtained for either side for completing the first trial of the day.
So make sure to play every day & make sure your matches last long.
Btw, don't go for Emblems if you only care about XP, as they give such meager amounts that they're not worth it.

"Changes were previously either reverted or changed further to be what they first intended."
What was first intended by the RBTs, and why does a Survivor DCing while wearing an RBT mess that up?
Their intended purpose is to shift Survivors' focus to try and get it off, prolonging the game.
Only after they fail & take too long does the purpose become to kill.
It gets messed up when one of your base amount of chances to apply this time-waste is taken away by a disconnect.
It's not the intended way that an RBT gets used up right away unless it's the Exit Gate. (Currently.)

Was was first intended that is contradicted by a Survivor wearing an RBT disconnecting?
I'm not sure what you're asking there.

Why does it matter if it was intended? The end result is still the same: You are doen a trap and they are down a Survivor. The advantage would be the same.
It matters when all previous accidental and unintended changes have been taken out, positive changes or negative changes.
The results don't matter when the way it happens is not what they want.
Changes were previously either reverted or changed further to be what they first intended.

@Boss if you down them you won't see their aura fyi even if they get picked up and healed
"Mettle Of Man will deactivate the next time you are put into the Dying State". Simply getting knocked down after tanking a hit with it completely deactivates the perk including the aura portion of it.
And on the general topic I'd rather not potentially throw the game just because someone might have a perk. Most of the time obsessions are just the result of some other survivor running DS in my experience, don't see nearly enough MoM to automatically assume obsession = MoM
Aha, never realized that ingame.
Still, it's a solid victory! 🤗

With a conversation i had last time with a mod on this, it's very much bannable.

Would you be saying the same thing if the trap insta-snapped on that Survivor? Because that is effectively what it is. You are down a Trap, and they are down a Survivor.
No, cause in that case it's intended.
In the current state, it is not.
They were gonna DC anyway, so they wanna take your trap with them.
At least, it doesn't make sense to me that they'd think: "If she doesn't put it on, i'll stay, but if she does, i'm out."
They're still taking away something you were actually supposed to have after their disconnect.
-
@Poweas said:
No, I'm more like 'oh, MoM, STBFL just hard counters it, it's useless against me.'
It really is ineffective against me lol.
I've countered MoM a few times now with Spirit Fury.
Sounds weird, so here's how it goes...
- The next hit will have MoM save them.
- They run for a Pallet.
- I hit them right in front of the Pallet.
- They are saved and drop the Pallet on me.
- Spirit Fury breaks it, replacing my "Successful hit" animation with the "Getting stunned by a Pallet" animation.
- I run Enduring, so it reduces the recovery by a LOT.
- I catch up in the next 5 seconds.
- They're downed.
The positive of MoM was made completely useless, i'll see their aura afterward and i got rid of a Pallet.
Good chase.
-
Not saying who's wrong or right, but i'd just like to say:
If there's a tool that's free to use for every player,
and once mastered is extremely powerful and close to impossible to counter except for 1-2 specific mechanics,
is that balanced just because not many use it?
Honestly, it feels like i'm asking for Vote Downs...

I think that she should not depend on RNG.
Instead of seeing the pig being able to regain her RBTs, I rather want her RBTs to be a reliable time waster.
Like having 0% chance to remove it on your 1st box?

@TAG said:

Well, let me ask this: Why would a Pig mind that the trap was wasted when the Survivor side lost a whole teammate? That is already favored for the Pig.
When i play Pig and someone disconnects early with it on, i won't have that for the other 3.
Then they go and run around and take them off, and then i have none left while i could've made one of them run around once more.
A rare situation i'll admit (though it's been made more common recently thanks to the DC bug), but that's why it'd still be neat to have.
Them disconnecting is an advantage for her, but it doesn't put her herself in the better position necessarily.
You really maybe could make good use of 1 more RBT, and then it wouldn't be bad to actually have it.
-
Not to burst your bubble, but the devs know we would like something like this.
And they would like it too, as they said in a stream a LONG time ago.
So why is it not here yet?
I think we can just chalk it up to them saying: "It's not important enough, so we don't do it yet."
-
Doctor is always a good one.
I think Legion's also good? I'll wait for someone else's confirmation on that.

True. Let me rephrase that: I don't want a buff that is only applicable when a Survivor DCs. That's just rubbing salt in the wound for no reason.
Alright then.
I disagree, but i can see why you'd think that way.
-
@TAG said:

I don't. I want Pig to get buffs that aren't only applicable when a player DCs.
That's good, cause no one says it would be limited to this idea.
No reason she can't have both.

Couldn’t you have bled out
I believe bleeding pauses during the "start the Mori" interaction.
Which won't pause it for long, but it'll add up quickly if you spam it.
You'd still bleed out eventually, but it'll take much much longer.
-
Why would i run Ruin in my "Stealthy Devour Hope" build?
It'll be gone in a minute at max.
-
Sure.
Can we also make it so the "Leave Game" option is disabled during the Mori?
So you have to watch your character get killed.
I mean yes, you can technically still force-close the game, or turn off internet for a bit to get out, but then it'll just take longer to get back in, it'll take away your points and you'll lose rank, making it just not worth it to do.
-
That's indeed pretty cool looking.
Mine was the 1 day that Left Behind worked all the time.

@TAG said:
I mean, isn't a Survivor disconnect bad for fellow Survivors (unless it's to give the last person the Hatch, but that's a whole different discussion)? Why make it just a little worse for them by reimbursing the Pig?
Hence the questionmark in the title.
I wasn't sure if her getting such a miniscule buff would be...healthy to the now-crippled team.
I simply like making ideas to see what the general thoughts of others are on said ideas.
Most seem to like it though.

@Boss This is the one true answer. Also set your profile so that no one can leave comments on it (other than your friends). Never accept friend requests from people you just played with.
Right, that too.
-
Yes, but only once every blue moon.
-
Getting a lot of Coldwind Farm lately, love it.
I don't see Red Forest anymore, love that too.
-
Survivor.
It's why i don't play them anymore.
-
The Plague, cause i haven't bought her yet.
-
Kinda ironic since i often have Survivors dodge my lobbies, even though the ping is fine.
-
I always have my endgame chat closed.
-
I was really surprised with how low the amount of SWF actually is.
And Killer Perks need some love like right now.
