Unfortunately that's correct. Which is a real shame honestly. The atmosphere and the fun of the last Halloween event is gone and now you have to grind a battle pass instead.
Not the worst event but not a very good one either.

I would like to have a nicely optimized version for console, and then crossplay would be fine. But the thing is: For how long have we been dealing with performance lags now? Any progress? No, it has been getting worse over the course of months and years.
Not to be negative, just a realistic view on the issue.
Console definitely needs some optimization before we can do any of this. A Dwight can dream though :P

I'm very disappointed that the event was tied to the battle pass. The entire reason I loved last years event was because we had a small bonus objective that gave you a lot of bp and really helped with the atmosphere they were going for. Now everything is just for looks and you have to grind on a battle pass.
What a shame honestly.

It's because totems are not a threat. There is no motive besides bp and Noed. If they reworked totems to be more of a threat or something then people would actually want to break them.

Funny enough, Ace also has a pilot outfit and Dwight has a sky diving outfit so that also synergies 😆
