I added a special ability button for Camouflage. It does need a different animation than the Dying State animation.

Idk why I hadn't considered this before because I absolutely hate going against Legion. Even ignoring the mending simulator, the fact that they basically nullify stealth is incredibly frustrating, especially as a solo player when I can't get away from my teammates.
I put on Empathy to help with the 15 unhook challenge and I coincidentally went against Legion. Now I was playing on a big map so that RNG worked out in my favor, but it was sooo nice to see whenever my teammates got hit with FF and be able to head away from them to avoid Legion's TR. If another injured survivor was near the one who got hit I knew which direction Legion would head in and which path I should take to the next gen.
And given how much time people spent either injured or in deep wound, Empathy was active on 1 or more of my teammates nearly the entire trial.
This isn't like a game changer or anything, but for once I did not want to smash my controller during a Legion match and that says a lot. Thanks, Empathy! <3
I'm sorry to tell you this but if Legion has Smiley Face Pin add-on or Hex: The Third Seal you will cry.

Revert the forum, please. I'm used to it now but it still looks bad and navigating through it sucks. Everything is white on my phone too.

No most of my matches last night were filled with toolboxes, medkits, and/or map offerings. I was sent to crow map 3 times in a row last night as doc and ring girl. I usually don't dc even if Im going to lose but when I was getting ######### matches, after the ######### match I was fed up and decided to not play anymore. Out of the whole night, I had one good match that was pretty fun and even on both sides. The rest of them was the BNP toolbox, CoH medkits, and crow or garden of joy map offerings. Btw on my builds on these low-tier killers(demo, ring girl, and doc) I was running a very lil gen slowdown. I was running either deadlock, jolt, or DMS. My point is if you want to play a low-tier killer that is mostly m1 killer then you better bring more than one slowdown perk or you are in for a bad time. A night like last night made me wish I played nurse or blight but that's not how I play killer. I use a random picker to pick the killer I play since I like playing all the killers in the game and don't want to main just one of them.
This happens all the time in my matches. The maps are mostly The Game or that ######### crow map.

"Killers don't want to use these gen blocking or regressing perks"
No, I really think a lot them do.
Right because commodious toolbox + wire spool + whatever, brown toolbox + BNP and prove thyself and other gen rushing perks doesn't screw the game. If it wasn't for these anti-gen perks then they wouldn't even gotten a hook or two.

BHVR could make games last 15 minutes as a standard and less skilled killers would still stack slowdowns to make the games last 25 minutes if they still couldn't win. Artificially closing the skill gap just turns the game into an arms race focused on the least fun part of the game (generators). As usual, they addressed a symptom (gens), not the causes (maps and matchmaking).
You're joking, right? If BHVR make games last 15 minutes then they'll completely change all the gen perks. They will not do that ######### that wouldn't make sense.

Nope, penalty has been on for them since yesterday

the only perks that comes to mind is potential energy but good luck going to that gen in the first place without losing your tokens

They removed disconnect penalties for console players and SBMM is a total clusterfuck right now.

And I mean new.
I just had a match against two 30-and-up prestige survivors.. and two survivors I could tell just started playing the game. They had green perks, all general or for that one survivor, and from their gameplay I could tell they were confused and terrified.
So I feel bad for the two very good survivors who clearly got horribly mismatched and let them all go. The default Feng didn't even realize I was trying to spare her, she booked it away from me no matter how much I tried to make friends.
Anyone else spare these teams? Or if not, at least these players. I don't have it in my heart to kill new survivors, they're too adorable.
No.

Win is 3K or 4K? Do you think the game should make it you getting 16-20K per 5 matches? Because the Devs aiming for 12K / 20 survivors.
If you aim for 4K every match, consider you should try hard to get it, and should match with survivors who also aim for 100% escape rate.
Most survivors accept with their 40% escape rate, do killers accept with their 60% kill rate?
No, killers should have 100% kill rate.

@EntitySpawn said:
I'd say I'm sorry for saying it but I'm not, most of the time killers or their perks arent the reason you lost but more of your lack of skill or the lack of skill on your team.
If you or multiple people on your team arent doing gens you shouldn't expect to win. And if you or your team cant loop killers you shouldn't expect to win.
SBMM sucks, doesnt even track skill and it definitely will be making you lose game whether that's putting you on bad teams or versing a stronger killer, but you cant expect to win if your team is bad or the killer is far better than your team.
The game isnt a 1v1, just because you may die doesnt mean other have to. You shouldn't be so focused on your own escape when it's a team game and far too many of you give up when a match has a bad start.
Killers arent getting carried by perks, you or your team is giving them the wins. People shouldn't be able to be tunneled out at 4/5gens, that means your team is playing awful. You shouldn't end up on maps like giddeon and not be able to loop a basic attack killer.
If you want to win you have to try and put effort in. Most killers you verse will be trying their best and running a strong build because they want to win, if you want to win you should be doing the same.
The majority of games you lose will be down to you or your team. If you have bad players or people memeing you shouldn't win verse a killer trying, and while I get solo Q is harder it's mainly due to bad SBMM, bad matchmaking and/or just players on your team throwing.
Yup, but the majority aren't as smart like you or me.

All they did was make it so the guards kick gens better? Are they actually serious?
Not the guards terrible chase ability and the fact they too long to activate? Making it so holding W is ridiculously powerful against him? But there's no way to really counter that since they can literally see where you're going when you're going to place the guard?
Of all the things they only buffed his guards Gen kick?
This should of been added by default in PTB and live. Feels more like a bugfix to me.

I think it's only up to 20m they can see you.
Really nightfall is there for you to actually start using his power in chase. It's super strong if the locker you go to isn't locked, shutting down almost every loop in the game that has a locker at it if you time the teleport correctly.
I would not worry too much about the stealth part of it although it can come in handy sometimes; it can get you pretty close but not ghostface close. Usually you are teleporting nearby to survivors and they hear you coming out of the locker anyways.
Nightfall is also when you want to down someone and go as physically far away from the hook to the next survivor you can, ideally downing them as well. You can bounce around the different survivors and attempt to keep them from saving at the hook by damaging them miles away. Wallhack perks / addons are crucial for this and on big maps it's one of his biggest strengths
I understand the use of his power but I don't understand why Nightfall is so... not scary? If they removed the white aura and disable all aura perks from survivors during Nightfall then I think we got the scariest killer in our hands.

I doubt it. EA and there isn't really a main villain/main monster worthy of being a killer, unless they go the RE Resistance route and make the Marker a killer that controls ai necromorphs in a RTS mode. Plus main character has a helmet on all the time and wouldn't have any skin options/wouldn't work with lots of Morris.
Necromorphs would be cool and maybe isaac without helmet?

Now just imagine if every Killer did this... I wonder what the stats would be

what they should do is when the match starts, hex perks are active but the totems still need time to spawn so it takes like a minute for totems to build and appear to survivors and they spawn randomly is hidden places

totems has always been a problem and they won't fix it ever

He can't camp hooks though. If you're being chased by a guard then all you have to do is unhook the survivor and the guard disappears.

I disagree. I think the devs really thought that this was going to be a strong killer. They're just that detached. Why else were Wraith and Pinhead nerfed?
Do you really think that they made the Knight so bad that it was intentional? You know what, I will agree with you. I wouldn't be surprised at all with the insane amount of info he's giving to the survivors.

Dear Devs,
Please give this killer some urgent attention. I was very hyped to make knight my new main, but this jank is unacceptable.
The only way to reliably win games is to play extremely lame, boring and dirty.
You cannot chase properly with this killer, you can't even use his power in fun or patrolling manners, all you can do is instant cast a static guard to block a tile.
It's not fun, and the amount of salt I get when I play the knight "properly" AKA the only way to reliably win with him, is next level.
Do something about this killer to make him fun in chase and not just a static target blocker.
Yes please but if you know bhvr you might be waiting for a year or two to see any changes.
-
@Blizwise said:
when I play survivor I run distortion every time for that reason
yes same here although there is no stopping survivors from griefing you and with the amount of aura perks killer has they can deplete your tokens quite easily.
With killers it's easier to block their auras by using either addons or perks like third seal but sure only that is temporary.
-
play survivor. its much more chill and you dont have to deal with hacking survivors or swf squad

@Grumblephant said:
Great, you just gave Bhvr an idea for a killer. "The Sniffer" his power is like Oni's blood orbs but it's a yellowish green trail that follows you. The only way to avoid it is to stop playing sweaty and play the game for fun.

Everything about him was allready said.
He is weak and boring. Cool idea, executed badly.
He needs some mini-rework. You can't use him much creatively since everything you do is told to Survivors. Best strategy is either camp or drop guard on the loop. ZzZzZzZz...
agreed
-
@danielmaster87 said:
His power is pretty complex, which I know is a controversial statement, but even still he can't do much to the survivors. "Just drop your power at the loop" and making them have to run away basically results in the same outcome as chasing as an M1 and breaking the pallet to make them run away, except you don't necessarily get the pallet down, so it's worse than normal. Like most anti-loop, it's not true anti-loop.
His problems, like you said, come from his design. The banner that despawns the guard and gives Haste/Endurance was always going to be a bad idea, even if the guards' AI was threatening. So was making the survivors disappear when going into guard spawn mode, literally making the killer worse than Spirit in every way, because you can't see the survivors and you don't even get a hit from spawning a guard right next to them. The guards' chase speed wouldn't be such a problem if they chased for longer, or didn't take so darn long to get into chase. Why do they have to go "Aaaaaahhh!", move to the spot the first saw the survivors, and THEN start chasing? Why can't it be instant or near-instant? It's just a cool concept executed poorly, in every conceivable way.
His power is complex because you're going in blind. All you can do is use your ears or, sometimes, seeing the grass move and then you have to predict where the survivor is going to.
Their decision was planned. They wanted to make the knight bad so they can buff it later on.

Happens in all of my matches right now. 0/10 bhvr

Correction: Sending out guards does not spend stacks of Play With Your Food. If you can pull off hits from guards, you never have to lose your movement speed bonuses by using your power.
**additional correction: Forced Penance. The perk does not DIRECTLY trigger from the Knight's itself, but often will by it's application. It is situational, but common if used correctly. If the Knight targets a guard to start a chase with an already injured survivor (say, Meg) while another survivor (say, Bill) is nearby. If the Knight chases Meg in cooperation with the guard, a LOT of people in Bill's situation will take the protection hit from The Knight as you close in on Meg. The hit came from The Knight, which triggers FP. The guard simply acts as the force of threat that influences the survivor (Bill) to act altruistically. Step 3: Profit.
I tested play with your food again but whenever my guard injures a survivor, I lose a stack. Am I doing it wrong?
Yeah that works with Forced Penance although this was more focused on the guard so if people wanted to use this solely on his power then it's pretty much pointless.
@Emeal said:
suggestion: Delete all the ones that says no.
