they are actually the favourtie for a lot of killers out there and just about the nr 1 for art and cosplay soooo yeah, idk what you are on about but stop doing this foxnews tactics of acting like your own opinion represents the entire community.
He was talking about gameplay and fun not about visual stuff. I love legion as a Killer and love the design but hate them gameplay wise. These are 2 different things and cant be put together. Also that is the opinion of the majority of the "legion" fans. Most of them love them visually but not gameplay wise.

Its very clear that the vast majority of players in the community believe that Deep Wound is terrible and needs to be improved. Hopefully the devs take this into account and revisit the status effect, but with how they seem to ignore anything that even remotely connects to Legion, my expectations are VERY LOW.
Agree

Just going to throw this out there... 360s don't work against good killers.
Legion is probably the one killer who gets more free first hits than anyone in the entire killer roster. (Aside from Nurse)
And what does those free hits do to you? Legion is no threat in terms to killing, you dont need to heal cuz you easily loop this Killer, regardless how good the Killer is.
-
Its not because of the "streanght" of the Killer. Its more about how boring this Killer is to play AS and AGAINST. For both sides this Killer is right now just annoying and dull. The power doesnt require any skill or effort, its braindead and simple. Also it doesnt do much, Legion is by far one of the worst Killer right now because they have no power to down survivors. Its just boring hold w and try to get a M1 at a survivor. Atleast as Trapper you can place traps around the map and have to think where you could place your next, but on Legion you have nothing like that, you are a braindead m1 Killer without any thinking.

Moris and Keys should honestly be removed from the game. They completely invalidate the core objective of the game by significantly reducing the amount of time needed to actually do anything. Keys don't require any skill to escape and Mori's only require 1 hook per person.
I wouldn't mind Mori's being added at base as a alternative way to kill someone on Death Hook instead of just rehooking. It would solely just be a different animation and for style points.
True, I had this in mind aswell :D
-
Agree, someone with a open mind!
-
Except from some abuses like lockers Ds is fine, its fair and a nice perk. And that is coming from a Killer main btw.
-
thats sadly the logic and mindset of a survivor.

He gets a free hit with no counterplay
Have you ever tried 360ing a legion? Or just running in a straight line against him when he gets his power so he cant hit you?
Agree... or jumping into a Locker right before the Legion hits. Just spread with your teammates and you counter the power completly.

He gets a free hit with no counterplay and notifications of other survivors locations.
He can have them holding m1 healing off gens all game or having them stay injured but be 1-hit all game.
Hes really not weak
The "free" hit has alot of counterplay. And I dont know why you completly ignore the fact that Legion has literly no power to down survivors. Looping a M1 Killer is one of the easiest things in dbd.
-

Legion gets a free hit. He only has to do half the work of other killers.
Hes not the best but hes far from the worst killer.
This is not true because even leatherface has a "power" in chase. He can punish mistakes and break pallets abit faster or even mindgame with a fake rev. Legion doenst have to do the half job because this Killer has nothing to Kill, just the M1.
-
@ClickyClicky said:
Its dull and frustrating. But sure buff it more, especially with your legion avatar. Just suck all the fun out of the game even more for survivors.
That wouldnt help legion much, Legion sucks cuz you have no power to down survivors, buffing deep wound doesnt change anything about this. Also my intention is not to buff a boring ass Killer. Its more about that Deep wound doesnt even fits with the actual concept anymore and is no threat at all, its not even really worth mentioning at perks like "borrow". It should be a "trade off" thats why this perk is even called literally "borrowed time". Because back in the days with the old deep wound it was actually just a "borrowed" extra hit for a short time. Right now its nothing like that and that sucks seeing that honestly. I thought more about the survivor side then to the Killer side here. Its just boring holding M1 like a braindead and paying any attention.
-
Nice one, had to laugh and I am still laughing, but not cuz its a joke...
-
Good luck friend, but keep in mind that everyone has problems in their life. I am pretty sure that you can come over it.
-
I dont think that Pig will get a complete rework, her base power is fine. She needs some QoL changes and updates, also agree that the map could get some adjustments. I agree and I think that Pig chapter might get a rework, but who knows. Billy, Leatherface, Legion and Myers chapters need a update/rework aswell.

Legion is one of my mains, so that's probably some of my bias showing, although I believe they're strong in alot of situations.
Demo, Doctor and Plague I simply never struggle playing against, I've seen good Doctors, but very few good Plagues and not a single good Demodog. Additionally for me Myers and Oni are strong. Oni can completely deny loops and Myers punishes mistakes.
Same goes to plague, doctor and demo. They punish mistakes hard. Same like billy, demo and doc can lead survivors into mistakes by trying to make them dodge your power. Doctor can denie alot of loops, same as demo, demo is just a beast in shack. Plague has the exact same mindset of myers, she punishes mistakes alot and can be very strong against certain situations.
And legion is only strong if the survivors are bad and do alot of mistakes. If you meet decent survivors that loop you, you will struggle alot since you have no power to down survivors as Legion.
-
Thats a decent list, Hag and Deathslinger are definatly not S tier thought. Oni and Billy should be at S thought but the rest seems fine imo.

This is mine, ordered in each tier also. Many people will disagree with this one...
Actually I agree with the upper half except Legion. The lower half is weird, I wonder how you think that Demo, Doctor and Plague are worse then Myers or Oni.

Yeah. I'm talking about the braindead face-camping or the permanently in Kindred "patrolling" camping and mindless tunnelling, eating BT and DS if they have it just to get kills at any point in the match, not just the end.
There are tactical ways of doing it, such as making your STBFL Obsession on death hook from the start, or when you BBq and nobody appears, but those people don't use this excuse and nor should they.
Yea dont worry, gotcha. And I agree!
-
@PigMainClaudette said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1179078#Comment_1179078
It's not about what you're doing, but the obviously BS justification for it and the abserd double standard that comes with said excuse.
You say "I can pay how I want, I payed money" to which I respond "So did I, and I CAN'T play at all with that 'tactic' so don't give me that excuse".
It is only about terrible justification and stupid reasoning. If people just admitted that they're just horrible people, ore have zero skill when they did this, then I wouldn't have made this post.
I agree kinda with you and I can understand what you mean. But in the other hand, why is someone bad because he tunnels or camps? As I said, for example I do these 2 thinks because they are the best option to get kills or apply pressure if the specific situation is the best play. This doesnt make me automaticly a bad Killer. You have to see that in that way, if you know when to do this to get the maximum kill efficiancy out of it then you are even a good Killer. If you just facecamp or tunnel braindead from the start of the match then yes this Killer is bad, but there are different reasons when tunneling or camping is a good and smart play and when not.
Maybe I just understood you wrong, if that is the case then I am sorry.
-
I dont know why there are so many topics and discussions like that. Why do you even have to justifiy? I tunnel and camp if I need to to apply the most pressure and play most efficiant as Killer. No reason for any justification, you chosed to play Killer and you are supposed to kill your enemies, why is no one so desperate to justify at call of duty of killing someone? Or in Lol or many other games... I dont get this, imo this entire topic is just nonsense to make such a big deal out of it.
*This message is not only to op and to his own post what he wrote*
-
Agree, thank you BHVR alot!
-
Not really lol, Legion has no power to down survivors and that is the biggest issue with the killer. Injuring and keep survivor injured is nice and all but if you dont have any power to down them then this Killer is trash.
-
The poor forgotten Killer "Legion"!
-
I agree with that. When they intruduced this mechanic I had hopes that you had the "choice" of destroying them. Something like, if you keep the wall you have a bigger but still normal loop but with mindgame but if you break the wall you have a shorter loop WITHOUT mindgame. So with this concept you would have a choice with what you would preffer to play. That would open interesting games and make games abit more different. Also it varies with other killers.

I'm a Rank 5 Legion main.
Some games on Legion are actually a nightmare because you'll get aggressive red ranks who have dead hard and are good at 360s. Those kinds of Survivors just waste your time and try to get you away from their teammates so you get gen rushed. However, other games feel like a walk in the park and I'll get Survivors that are easily mind-gamed and go down quickly. But they're still Red rank survivors. So what makes that difference? (hint its not SWF)
Legion's power is amazing for tracking Survivors, so the people with more passive playstyles who are used to avoiding the Killer and gen rushing get punished really easily. My theory is that the Survivors that aren't used to getting chased and get their points from Objectives and Benevolence get rolled over despite being the same rank, because their skill isn't winning chases. It's immersion.
So yes, I've gotten many 4ks on full red rank teams. And yes, I've gotten no one on full red rank teams plenty of times. It has nothing to do with their "skill" and everything to do with their play styles.
Legion sucks and has basicly no power. Also swf doesnt mean they are automaticly good. I met alot of swf teams that got demolished by me very fast and hard, honestly I rather play against a swf than a 4 random game cuz most of the times the 4 random game will go by even faster, they will just try to rush you and at the endgame they sometimes let someone die on the hook and just escape.

Thank you so much! I have definitely been chasing more people than I should outside of my ability and I need to improve on getting hits on healthy survivors.
yea its not good if you always try to walk around and hit ppl without your power, you should learn to use it to travel around the map faster or get first hits aswell. Just dont be scared and try to phasewalk as much as you can.

There is a bit of a difference.
NOED is a perk which is working as designed.
Old Legion had mechanics which players found a way to use in an unintended way. Unfortunately it was the players themselves who abused it who are to blame really.
Legions issues could be fixed without touching the base mechanic of the power, the nerf was just because the devs are to lazy to rework legion for the average player.

@twistedmonkey said:
My question is - why did you ever feel bad for using something that the game offers?
It's a game use what you can and play how you wish.
Say it to all the old Legion mains

I dont like the western style theme about the dlc. A cowboy is boring aswell as Killer, zarina doesnt look that great thought imp. But Deathslinger is very fun and has a very cool mechanic, his hitbox is very precise, even abit too much.. and this Killer is overall balanced.
Zarina perks are honestly boring, only red hering seems funny but thats it. The perks of the deathslinger seems to be too weak and underwhelming. Gearhead has a way too short duration for its requirement. Dead mans switch has way too many requirements for such a minor effect. Only Hex: Retribution seems decent.
Overall its just a decent DLC but imo its totatlly okey. The devs cant always make a flawless insane chapter like with Oni, Spirit or Plague.

yeah soft as the survivors don't see the killer at all the time unless he is just trying to do so and the killer also has the perk to see the survivor + seeing traps doenst mean you fully negate them or can avoid them sometime you can see a trapper trap a loop but you couldnt disarm the trap in time and now you are getting chase and that loop that you had is no longer usable
sorry but doc does negate loops all he has to do his shock the pallette or window the survivors wanna use as soon as the survivor get near it and the survivors can no longer use it , there is no playing againts doc fully counter loops
i am a rank 1 so i know what i am speaking off unlike you it seems , if you can''t abuse doc stupid easy to abuse power to get free wins too bad for you
Not really, I loop pretty easy doctors and get very often 4ks with him. As I said, if you dont know how to counter him in loops then he might seem op but thats not true at all. He definatly cant negate looping. Also ranks dont mean anything, you cant compare skill cap with ranks in this game.

UPDATE:
So they got a final response back from support, and they confirmed: IT WAS FOR THE MEME GAMES.
In one match they only found one survivor in their meme game so they killed them, but left everyone else alone because they never came in their territory. Since he "Did not participate with the other survivors" he was banned for "Griefing and Exploiting Game mechanics".
Basically if survivors feel "Alienated or targeted" like, that's a terrifyingly broad descriptor.....but anyways......
He currently has been so disappointed in that decision that now he just doesn't want to play anymore, can't say I really blame him.
Anyways so yeah guys, unfortunately it's official, meme games as killer are indeed bannable. This revelation has me disheartened as well, I've never been banned but just knowing that's a risk for something so asinine....I'm questioning my interest in the game going forward now as well.
That sucks honestly, sry for your friend thought. But well I guess we could already think about that... Killers are never able to have fun or stress less. Only survivors, if there are game breaking buggs like sound, lunge, nurse, hitboxes or any other bugs for Killers then the devs dont care and fix it in the next few months/years. But if there is 1... only 1 single survivor bug then its getting fixed in the next few days. I just love that bias.
-
Agree, it gets slowly annoying. Had this happening today 3 times. I dont know why survivors start using keys so often now in the past few days? I am not able to keep practicing deathslinger in normal games because of that.

This footage is by far not enough, dont really know if the huntress ######### up, or if the survivors where good or anything else. There are many more factors then just genspeed or pressure that influense into the game lenght.

unbreakable - lets you complete the bar 35% and lets you get up instantly once (after which you can get up just like you said with no perk, while keeping your 35% progression rate)
no mither - lets you get up every time (normal completion rate)
no perk - lets you complete the bar to 95%, then after 30-40 more seconds of being slugged you are able to get up.
I don't see a problem
It is already hard with no meta killers to apply pressure, slugging is one of the few strategies that CAN work but still is very unreliable because it comes up from survivors mistakes. There is no need to nerf slugging.
-
You never break pallets and dont need any chase perks. I just use tracking perks like BBQ, Thrilling, Nurses, Stridor or slowdown perks like Pop, Corrupt, Ruin are your go to perks.
Common mistakes from new spirits you shouldnt do!
- Dont chase a survivors without your power, you are a slow Killer (Try to learn to predict healthy survivors in your power, I know it will be hard but you have to go through and learn)
- Dont relie on scratch marks too much, they are buggy and sometimes can miss lead you, listening is the key. Listen too footstebs, injury sounds or grass movements.
- Dont break every single pallet (Also no pallet perks needed, brutal streanght, spirit fury etc are bad perks on her)
- Learn when to use phasewalk and when not, dont use it mindless
Hope I helped you somehow and good luck!

funny how killers mains don't like OoO because it soft counter traps at best but are okay with doctor hard countering loops and stealth with even less effort talk about hypocrisy
"Soft counter". Also Doc cant negate loops, you maybe just dont know how to play against him. Before you try to talk about entitlement you should inform yourself what are you even talking about lul. And I never said I dont like OoO. I even appreciate it having one in the game, with that I always know what 1 survivor is doing, that can help me alot to apply even more pressure.
-
@ZoneDymo said:
I do admire you players that still have a passion to do well every game, personally Im kinda beyond caring.
If someone has OoO and that person is way too good at wasting your time AND actively walks after you to disable traps, then fine, ill just go afk in the basement and play/watch something (else) in the meantime. no problem.
Thats not how a game is supposed to go. In games should be counters yes but not that hard that your entire ability is getting negated almost completly.

Yes because Killers are whiny babys and survivors are fully grown people that can discuss civil!

The gen speed is already fine and dont needs to be improved alot. Its not like you repair to slow. There is no reason to have a insane objective improve item than it was before. The rarities were originally changed to help make sure that you have a roughly equal chance of getting all of the perks, without some being significantly more rare than others. It's also got two other nice little benefits:
- You end up spending less on perks with the way things are priced in the bloodweb now.
- It's easier to find the perks you want in your inventory since they're spread between rare and very rare, rather than a bunch of rarities.
With the amount of perks currently it is annoying and hard to find your perks anyway. Imo add ultra rare perks again and add a "search" bar to the perks. The extra amount of BP ( 1k ) is so low that noone would notice it almost. Also it gives a better unique feeling to some perks, so most of the perks doenst feel that "same" anymore.
