Rancor. Getting a free mori after all gens are done. But I guess next to unrelenting nothing else unless I forgot something.

why is everyone forgetting bloodwarden?
You need to do something for that in order to gain the effect.

Being in deep wounds for a long period of time should begin to debuff the survivor, much like how Plague's infection gets worse when survivors do certain actions.
For example, when sprinting and doing rushed actions in the deep wounds state, it begins to fill an invisible meter. Every time the meter fills, the survivor becomes deeply wounded. This doesn't effect the speed of mending itself, but will effect healing, repairing, cleansing, and rescue action speeds by 3% per stack of deep wounds until the survivor is healed back to the healthy state (max 5 tiers).
This would cut down a lot on the abuse cases of DS and saving with borrowed time. It would reduce the effectiveness of the person who just got rescued body blocking the person who rescued them despite the fact they should be running away. It would make Deep Wounds actually useful in slowing the game down for killers who use it and make it actually a threat to survivors and something they want to be out of as soon as possible.
Thats not enough thought, imo deep wound should effect the chase aswell. This would make a chase more interesting and risky in deep wound.

The only things you should be able to do in Deep Wound is mend, vault, and drop pallets. Your vision should also be much darker than it already is. The only thing Deep Wound had going for it is Doctor being able to force you to Snap Out of It before Mending, but then people realized that you could Snap Out of It before the Mend timer ran out.
Agree. But I dont agree with the Doctor part. I had once a situation where the Doctor kept going for me and let me go for a few sec to snap out and then he came back over and over again. You know the classic situation that if you want to let go a skill check comes right at the same seccond. Because of that I missed sometimes a few and my snap out got delayed. I was forced to run over the entire map while in T3 and dee wound. A other survivor should mend me but they didnt wanted to for some reason until I eventually die in a chase. That was not fun at all imo.

Deepwound is too weak? What about bleeding sttus effect?
Hemorraged weak too but its not used that often compared too Deep wound.
Borrowed time is one of the most used perks and now we have 2 Killers that also use this mechanic. If the devs would buff Deep wound they would nerf borrow and buff both Legion and Deathslinger aswell.
Not saying that Deathslinger is weak but the deep wound is just a joke.

mending costs like 10 seconds. Its a third helath state. So there should be some restrictions
Agree

Double BT and DS wouldnt be abusable anymore.
Mending, vaulting and dropping pallets. Thats all you should be able to do in this situation

Nah, the worse add-ons in the entire game hands down goes to Legions.
1/2 of their add-ons are literally useless and don’t even work AND that’s a fact.
Deep Wound Study, Frank’s Mix-Tape, Both Rulers, All the Pins, and The increase Killer Instinct distance, Cold Dirt (any cooldown) Literally almost every single Legion add-on is utterly useless.
Their best add-ons are stolen sketch book and iridescent button.
The pins are actually nice now. But agree with the rest, the other 3 are totally useless and trash.

Agree I would love that too. The casual mode should not have the DC penalty aswell thought. This mode would help new players to get used too the game. They can maybe lock this mode for ppl with atleast 2 devotion levels maybe? So experienced players cant "smurf" there maybe.

I think getting less points for someone dying on first hook isn't horrible. I do think you should get less for killing someone in one hook (it might be a little too punishing atm though) because it incentivises looking for new targets instead of camping the hook for your kill. However, you are right that the final kill should probably give you full points as if they had been hooked three times.
The deviousness points is for sure the biggest problem on killer. Some killers get an insane amount of deviousness (using your killer ability successfully) BPs easily (doctor, wraith, hag) while others can't get many at all even when they play their killer in the exact way they were designed. For example, hitting an enemy after uncloaking as wraith gets you 550 deviousness BPs + 300 for a hit. But demogorgon gets 50 for using his tunnel + only 200 for surprise hitting someone after tunneling + 300 for the hit, even though its arguably harder to do, since you can't just find a survivor and DO that whenever you want the way wraith can.
The list goes on, its especially bad for the killers who can down you in one hit. Myers has to stalk you for like 45 seconds or more, and then gets fewer points for successfully doing so than other killers get for using their ability.
Still though, survivors have it way worse. I find it weird that i'm playing a game where the killer is supposed to be scary and i should want to stay away and run from him, yet in order to get a high score, the game requires me to be aggressive, get noticed, and attack the killer basically. Not saying that distracting the killer isn't important, but SOMEONE has to do the generators.
Agree and I know what you mean. But the devs never said that you should stay stealthy forever. The dev promote altruism and chases more because imagine that scenario. You play killer and you always find those 3 survivors cuz they save, heal and do gens. But you dont find this 1 claudette for your BBQ stack. What should you do else? Obviously you will go on the other 3 because you find them more easy and that gives you more pressure cuz you hook more. In that case the game will end pretty quick and those 3 survivors will die ALOT faster cuz you the immersed claudette will not get chased or hooked. Thats 3 less hooks for the entire team that buys you enough time to do the gens.
In that case it is not a 12 hook game, it is a 9 hook game. So what I want to say is, it is better if you get chased so you get hooked too, thats the best way to survive, because everyone gets hooked.
-
Also some blood points earning should be re visited. Why do you get 200 points if someone enters struggeling and then 200 for a sacrifice as Killer? For example you find the last survivor and he wasnt on a hook yet. So he will die on first hook and you get punished for that, you will only get 1200 points (500 hook +200 caught + 200 struggle + 200 sacrifice). To compare if you kill someone with 3 hooks (500+200+500+200+500+200) 2100 points.
Also why does some Killer have such a hard time getting those deviousness points such as Legion, Freddy, Pig, Plague or Trapper. Or some Killers with brutality such as Myers, Billy and Plague.
For survivors. Gen 1250 points are not enough, should be higher and a big problem is survival points. Why do you get 5k escape points if devs say that escaping isnt that important? Thats pretty dumb honestly.

My only question is... who uses team speak?

Agree the German translation is really bad up to decent. Most of the words are simple translated and alot of words are used there that NO German would ever use in the language. If you play this game in German it feels like you are reading a instructions to a technical device. Everything sounds soo... strict and unnatural. The devs really need some natural German speakers to translate that, its necessary!
Some examples for unnatural words that no German would use:
Stufe (Level) - most of these words are really old, German has been adapted with time and many english words are now very common such es "Level".
Wahrnehmung (Perception) - sounds very weird, noone uses this word its way too informative. You would say this in instructions or informations but not a game or text xD. My suggestion: Aufmerksamkeit (Alert or keep an eye)
Talent (Actually translation is gift, flair or talent) - Its perks in english, Talent doesnt fit at all? Imo a really flawed translation without any thinking behind. My suggestion: Also a word that got common in German, should also just stay at "Perks".
Wiederherstellungsrate (Recovery rate) - Wiederherstellung is usually something that you "rebuild" or "heal" for medical themes but not recover from a fall, stun or ability. The translation is also not good and doesnt fit. My suggestion: Aufladezeit or Abklingzeit, that reffers more to a "ability".

@ABannedCat said:
German speaking here. Its not only that most translations sound like Google Translater, its also that many things in-game plain and simple read the wrong effects. Nurse add-ons confuse "slightly", and "moderate" alot for example. Or the Windstorm add-ons for Wraith read like his movement is decrased while being uncloacked, while its only while uncloacking.
I dont know about other translations, but they seriously need to step up their game in the German version. Many explanations are simply wrong, or worded in a confusing matter.
There are several totally wrong written addons. I am not sure if they got fixed by time cuz I am playing the english client for over a year now but I remember that the wraith silent bell addon was written as:
Verringert moderat den klang der Glocke.
Which means:
Moderatly reduce the sound of the bell.

Maybe it is the first lunge after loading in. That might explain why I think it happens after a special ability because ghosty and plague would both use lunge after a night shroud/vomit. I guess Ill try just doing a lunge right after game starts
Ye do that, but keep in mind that it could happen randomly ingame aswell, thats atealst in my case aswell^^
-
Nah sometimes you get no lunge movementspeed, regardless what you do. Most of the time it is the first hit after you load in. But sometimes it also happens randomly in the game too. It sucks but well... it only effects the fun of Killers so it will not get fixed in the next few months, we have to life with it :)
-
Imo the duration is not the problem, the 2 basic hits are a pain in the *** to active it. You need this perk pretty fast active but thats hard with to basic hits against decent survivors. I would preffer just using BBQ, Discordance or even Surveilance.

This.
People think he's a god because he overuses the term "mindgame" while chasing potatoes most of the time.
Personally I think he's a rather average red rank killer performance-wise considering he's been playing DBD 7 days a week since 2016 and yet didn't even know old Doctor could grab in treatment mode till he got grabbed off the hook (in 2019). He didn't even know saboed traps respawned after the devs patched it.
He doesn't even know how non-meta survivor perks work to this day. He has never even tried to make a killer respect a pallet to go for another loop. He can't 360 or juke etc.
Quite simply an overrated player.
Agree, also his weird ghostface build and playstyle... its honestly rediciouless how many ppl played this build, its not even strong thought xD.
But I still have to admit that he can judge balancing discussion very neutral and that is something what I like about him atleast. Still he is not one of the best palyers thought.

idk man, I still don't think you have 3,500 hours, you have 2300 hours on your main account, which you were playing dbd on for 3 years, you've played your new account for 7 months and already have halve of what you had in 3 years so I wouldn't be surprised if you've accidentally left dbd running.
I don't take anything personal, it's a game, but I know there are good killers and it's really boring seeing the same "killers only win because x made a mistake" or "x did this and that's why this game ended with a 4k" yea, it happened, in the match, people don't usually try saves to die, they thought they could get the save and all escape, and tru3 played well enough to counter that.
To answer the first part. Nope I started playing dbd at Clown chapter, I just played the beta like 20 hours I guess? Then I left the game for a long time, I played world of warcraft along time, hardcore progress raiding. Then when clown with the store came out I started playing the game srsly. From there I started sweating. I play really much though, every day a few hours, I dont let the game run, I always play this game for hours and dont stop cuz I am addicted basicly xD.
Second part: I get ya and dont worry. I dont know if I worded that wrong but I didnt meant that I or others ONLY get kills through mistakes from survivors. On Killers like Nurse, Spirit or Oni it is most of the time your own skill to kill them, but mistakes are still a huge part of Killing if you understand what I mean. Its basicly a 50/50 skill/mistakes from others imo.

I'm... what? I'm upset? lmao ok buddy.
I don't need to hold a conversation, you literally think the only reason you win at this game is because survivors make mistakes, instead of the supposed 3,500 hours you have as killer, lol.
yes that is totally what I am thinking .... xD

I mean, in December I remember you saying you have 2.8K hours, you've played for 700 hours in 3 months? lol I guess if you wanna add a couple hundred more hours to disprove me that's cool lol.
Sorry that you still have a hard time with 3,500 hours.
I have 2 accounts, both together are 3,200 hours, also I am smurfing on a account of a friend to farm bloodpoints for her, this makes some extra hundreds hours, I assume it might be 200-300 hours on her account so I dont know where you get that from but if you are really upset because of a discussion, I am really sorry, I didnt ment to mess around with you.
Also what you are trying is kinda weird, just because you cant hold this discussion doesnt mean you have to find now other arguments just to proof in a other way that you can be right? :D
*Edit I checked my both accounts I have currently 3500 hours on my own accounts.

I'm 4,600 hours in, I've probably played this game at least 2x as much as you have, I know perfectly well that some players are actually good, I'm sorry that you're not very good at killer so base all your wins on what the survivors did, but I truly believe this game has decent killers, lol.
I have 3,500 hours as Killer main and I know several survivor mains that have 4 up to 6k hours, even some streamers that I dont want to mention. Most of them were not good and didnt know basic tactics such as double back, fast vaulting or even mindgaming. Imo hours doesnt have to mean something of how skilled someone is. Everyone learns differently and some might need more time as others to reach their skill cap. So I wouldnt rely on this number if I would be you^^
-
@Seanzu said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1153776#Comment_1153776
Killer is the pressure, so most mistakes are being caused by your chasing them, obviously if you sit in a corner, or you chase loops the wrong way there's less of a margin for "mistakes" but there's genuinely some windows a survivor can't reach before you get them, some survivors get greedy at a pallet, sorry but I don't buy into the "you only do well if survivors are bad" it's totally untrue.
Then you are not really that experienced as survivor if you think that xD There are tons of setups where you can loop a Killer for 2 or more min and if you have perks like dead hard you can extent that by the double amount of time. Not trying to be rude here but you should maybe watch some guides or streams of good survivors.

It doesn't make what happened any less true?
There are more videos on tru3s channel of him 3K/4King by about 20x than there are of "gen rushing".
Initial generators don't matter, I really don't see how killers don't see this, you can 4K with 2 gens done, you can 4K with 3 gens done, you can 4K with 4 gens done, and those gens done don't matter because the game wasn't over until you killed everyone.
Except that you only 4k if the survivors does mistakes. If you dont play Nurse or Spirit then its all about the survivors doing enough mistakes to give you the pressure to do that. And this is something that is not reliable. I had enough matches where I downed and hooked as Spirit ever 30sec 1 survivor and they still finished all gens in 5:40min with only 2 survivors working on gens because most of the time someone obviously was going for saves or healing. I used pop, sloppy and even old ruin and they still managed to push through. With that explained and in this example these survivors weren't doing much mistakes, I manage to down that quick because I am a really good spirit thought and they had less up to 0 chance to escape but the gens were still flying even with 2 anti gen perks.

The killer running Infectious Fright already has to fill conditions to activate the perk's effects. The idea of having the terror radius as one of the condition (and not a flat 32m) is to allow for perk synergy. As for the cooldown, adding something like this would greatly diminish the strength of the perk and we think it is unnecessary in it's current form.
Survivors choosing to remain in the killer terror radius while a teammate is getting chased nearby are taking a risk. Infectious Fright is a perk that makes this risk greater if the chase comes to an end. We think it is doing what it has been designed for.
TLDR
At the moment, we have no plans to change Infectious Fright.
You mean conditions just like how Blood Echo has 3 conditions to active aswell? But this perk still has a really long cooldown.

What were wrong with the other chapters? You word it like the past chapters were unplayable and totally bad? I personally love oni chapter and it is one of the best chapters they did. Also the perks are not that good thought of the current chapter.
