  • To be fair:

As Killer you can actively decide if you want to tunnel and/or camp and still win (or lose).

As Survivor you cannot decide if you want to do Gens or not and win. If nobody is doing Gens, you cannot win.

  • Because people are crying, overreacting, looking for special cases and declare them as the normal state of the game...

But yeah, its hard to understand that Gens are slow when you start hitting people.

In fact, the Gens are no problem at all, Gen Times are fine as they are, 80 seconds is enough. Problem are the Maps, because it should not be possible to keep the Killer occupied for so long that so many Gens can be done. And THIS is the Core Problem, not the Speed of the Gens.

This is the reason. And not "Nobody wants to play Killer". Because this does not happen from one day to another that hundreds or even thousands of Killer players decide "Nope, not gonna play anymore".

Quite a good proof would be that since the Matchmaking Change, I did not verse any Streamer I versed before. Before I had a couple of Streamers which were at the same Rank who I had in game quite consistent. And this is not the case anymore, even tho they are playing at the same time I am playing.

People who say that there are not enough Killers just want to spread a narrative.

  • First of all, why leaving David out? If you go by that Logic, you would leave Nea out as well, since she is also a DLC-Character.

    @Topic:

    Jake for me.

    Calm Spirit is highly Situational.

Iron Will, while being one of the best Perks in the game, only really shows its value when used by experienced Survivors.

And Sabotage is something that will most likely harm the team instead of being useful. It sounds really cool to sabotage the Hooks, and I guess, people who are new will waste their time doing that. At least this was the case when I started.

Hmmm 39 isn't tooo bad. Like you say can probably do without the knife.

I think for both Skins it is kinda fair. Even if people dont complete the Rift, they can buy the missing Pieces eventually, which will be a lot cheaper.

I like this solution more than just putting them in the store for 1080 Auric Cells.

  • Yes, both Feng and Clown are on the Free Track.

    @Rex_Huin said:

How far up the rift is it? I want it but not sure I can do a monster grind like last time.

    Clown:

    Head Tier 7

    Body Tier 39

    Knife Tier 66

So you get the more important pieces until Tier 39, and I think this is manageable. The Knife is not that important.

    For the record, Fengs Tiers:

    Bottom Tier 15

    Top Tier 47

    Head Tier 70

  • From my experience, it happens quite rarely. It was more a few weeks ago, because at this point, I was no able to follow people with Spirit, even if they did not have Iron Will, they were completely silent.

But overall, I dont have this issue that often. Yesterday I had it, a Jake was neither crying nor had any footsteps.

It is not happening on a regular Basis.

  • I hope at least one of you who are making such a drama will apologize when you realize that playing without Ruin is ok as well.

  • The Majority of Perks of this Chapter was bad, in fact, at least 4 Survivor Perks are wasted (I would say that all 6 are not worth taking) and at least 2, but more likely all of the Killer Perks are not worth a Perk Slot.

    Demogorgon is not that powerful.

And well, I see Nancy and Steve from time to time, but most likely I see a Steve. However, there is one thing that needs to be considered with every new DLC: People already have their mains. They have their mains where they have all Perks unlocked. There need to be some really good reasons to change your Main, to actually grind a new Character completely.

  • Playing in Red Ranks/purple Ranks (depending on how much Killer I play), but usually going to Purple anyway close before Rank Reset to try some Adepts afterwards...

I dont think that Gens are too fast, the Maps are a problem. If I get Fractured Cowshed and it is Cow Loop into Jungle Gym into Long Wall into Shack into Long Wall into Long Wall into Jungle Gym...Yeah, what should I do? This is half of the Map where I cannot really chase. Same with Asylum, you have to abandon a chase in the Main Building, unless you are sure to absolutely get it.

Also, Gens are the boring Part of Survivor gameplay.

EDIT: I CHOOSE THE WRONG ANSWER :(

  • @Hag.is.Dtier said:

You mean bandageboozle, no I don't, it's only needed for god loops and is a great example of why you can't balance a game with perks.

    This explains it very well.

It is good and needed for those Structures like Iron Works, Torment Creek BS Window or Abattoir BS Window. But also used on Structures where it should not be needed.

  • I rather try to mindgame certain Tiles instead of just using Bamboozle. I feel it is kinda cheap.

It has its uses on those super strong windows like Iron Works for example, but those should not exist/be that strong in the first place.

(btw: I think the Buff to Bamboozle was not necessary)

  • I have seen it yesterday for the first time.

So I'm stuck with being capped at 15k a game cause the killer doesn't want to play. Wow sounds like a good course of action.

15k BP does not sound too bad. I got camped by a Basement Bubba lately, because I looted his chest (Spawned near Basement, looted it and got hooked right away and camped with Insidious, while he was shaking his head looking at his open chest the whole time...). And I got not more than a few Chase Points, the Struggle Points and the Points for opening the Chest.

Also, it will not happen every game. I can count the number of Facecampers I got in 2019 on one hand, I guess.

  • I mean, someone is asking for a serious advice here and gets the usual, childish Comments:

    Insidious Camping

    Moris

    ...

When it comes to Gen Regression, you should consider PGTW as your first Choice. Corrupt Intervention is nice as well, but except that you corner Survivors a little bit, it does not have that much Benefit for Wraith, since his Playstyle is different.

Personally, I use: BBQ, Brutal Strength, Enduring, PGTW, which is more a Build for Chases. You can also go for a good Slowdown with Sloppy, Thana, Nurses.

Or, when you want to use Surveillance, you can go for that with new Ruin and Thrilling Tremors. But this depends on a Hex again, so I dont know how useful that will turn out in the end.

  • That one Adam Main liked your post.

(As much as I would like to have more Adam Skins, I highly doubt that there will be that many in the future, because almost nobody is playing Adam)

  • The penalty should be that all Gens get done and he gets away with 1k. And the penalty should include that nobody says anything in Endgame Chat, because this is the reaction they want to trigger.

Even tho, it does obviously not work all the time that everyone is doing Gens, but the ideal solution would be, to just hammer those Gens. Sucks for that guy on the Hook, but nothing can be done.

So the outcome will be minimal Kills and BPs and no Salt in Endgame Chat (like, I got camped by a German Streamer once (really small Streamer, apparently I hurt his feelings at one day), so he camped me with Insidious Billy... Got 5k BP and 1 BBQ Stack out of it, while burning two green Add Ons and a Pudding...If every game with a facecamper would end like that, it would be great, but often enough Killers get a lot of BP and even Kills, because Survivors are way too altruistic).

  • Ah yes, punishing Survivors for playing good and rewarding Killers for playing bad. That sounds cool.

  • You are not the only one. But you are not correct on this one, the game is pretty balanced right now. Look back one or two years and then say again it is imbalanced in favor of Survivors right now.

Regarding Toxicity... Killers are toxic as well. What to keep in mind: For 1 Killer come 4 Survivors. This means the odds of having a toxic Survivor is 4 times bigger. And lets not forget that the human mind remembers the negative experiences more - if from 4 Survivors, one is toxic, you will keep that one in mind, but not the other 3 who were nice guys.

  • New Lerys looks amazing - will other Maps get the same Treatment with new Textures, darker lightning and better atmosphere?

  • I will go for each point:

"There is no real counter to his power, since you can be exposed while literally standing in front of him and staring at him."

This is 100% correct and needs to be reviewed. You can look at him the whole time and dont reveal him, or simply look in one direction, dont even see him, and he gets revealed. His Reveal-Mechanic is simply broken and dumb for both sides. What is kinda frustrating as well is that the Reveal Process starts again when he hides for a short amount of time, but the Stalk-Meter does not reset when doing it. But I dont know a fix for that, because it should not be too easy to reveal him (maybe instead of restarting at 0, let the Revealing gradually go down).

"This killer is the ultimate tunneling machine, since he can easily counter BT and down people right off the hook again."

Sadly this is a problem with every Stealth Killer, but I highly doubt that you will get friends here when proposing that BT works with Killer Distance from Hook. This would be totally the correct way, because only because that Ghostface is in Nightshroud, or this Wraith cloaked, or this Pig crouching, does not mean that they are not camping. That Doctor which is using Distressing is also not camping, only because his TR is huge af. But like I said, I doubt that this will make people happy when BT actually works against campers.

"GF should not be able to hide his red stain and his TR. It benefits the killer way too much without requiring any effort any effort."

While it is correct that going into Night Shroud does not require any Skill or Effort, this is how he works. He is stalking people while hiddin (or at least he has the ability to do that), and therefore he needs to hide his TR and Red Stain. This is a basic mechanic and should not be taken away. I mean, this is like saying that Hillbilly should not be able to use his Chainsaw until he is 8 meters close to a Survivor - because it does not take any effort or skill to run around the Map with it.

"The ability to crouch spam should be taken away, since it is abused by almost every GF killer."

Eh. Thats a BS-argument. Same can be said for Survivors, people just need to learn that they should not be offended by teabagging in general. The only thing that would be dumb on a teabagging Ghostface is, when he complains about getting teabagged while doing it himself.

"I can see the devs' original intention when creating this killer, but sadly these things are abused by killer main players."

I would not say "abused". The way of playing him without much stalking and just running around in Night Shroud, spreading damage, is the best way to play him, not gonna lie. And this should change indeed, but not by nerfing him. The Stalking Mechanic needs to have some form of impact, because currently you might stalk people, but when they are at a loop, you might not even get anything from it. Or they see you before and then you just wasted time stalking them. Currently Ghostface is only using half of his power, and this is something that should be changed. If there would be more changes than "Make his stalling meaningful" (like nerfing his Stealth Potential) would be up to the Devs.

And, of course, his reveal mechanic should work. Because it is quite clear that new players cannot understand what is going on and why they cant reveal him, when this is not even understandeable for players like me who have over 3k Hours and who reveal Ghostfaces here and there by just looking in a random direction or not by straight looking at him without ANYTHING (not even the own character model) blocking the line of sight.

Riiiiight so one side being nerfed more is not more impactful.

You wanna talk about Legion? I want to talk about Legion.

Legion has been gutted and then repeatably nerfed into the ground time and time again. He's unironically considered one of the worst killers in the game by a large part of the community and unless you're a die-hard Legion main (May God have mercy on your poor soul, I actually feel bad for you Legion mains out there). He's at a point where most people don't even play him anymore.

    Removing a character isnt impactful.

    Regarding Legion:

Legion was never a good Killer to begin with. Even in his first appearance, he was simply bad. Yes, his power was lethal. But for what price? Nobody enjoyed playing against Legion. There was exactly no Skill involved, because you can either cheese or simply can down people without Counterplay. Of course, this would be the same with Nurse, BUT Nurse has insane amount of mobility. Legion not. So while you can down a single Survivor 100%, you will lose the game because of it. So it is not like Legion was a Top Tier Killer, most people said that he was one of the weakest Killers, and he was and still is.

    @NuclearBurrito

Thanks for this Thread, you have a lot of valid points. Way more than other people. Some people still bring the Depip-Squad up, when talking about Balance, which is simply stupid, because a lot of things that made this "project" even possible dont exist anymore. It is simply outdated and most likely not repeatable during this time.

The Devs are not survivor-biased. The only mistake they did with the Ruin Announcement was the way of presenting it, but honestly, I dont know any way of presenting it in another way. Because you cannot simply say that the Perk is too powerful because used to often. This would not make sense. Also you cannot say that other things might or will follow after the Ruin Rework, because if nothing happens, because the Trial Times will be fine afterwards, people will stick to this point and ask about it over and over again. Because, what is undenieable: Even if they would brought up a second Objective or increased Gentimes, people would still use Ruin. Because, you know, what worked in brown Ranks will work in Red Ranks, sure about that. This is why people are upset about DS - it does not work for them to tunnel and hook someone. So DS is the problem and not their mentality that it should be super-easy to take one Survivor out of the game, shifting it to a easy 3v1.

I also feel that a lot of Content Creators can shift that in one way or the other. Like, regarding Gens, there are quite a lot of people which are either Mains or play both sides, but clearly say that "if you get genrushed, you did not put up enough pressure". This is 100% correct and does not have anything to do with Ruin. This also does not mean that a Killer is bad, it just does mean that he was not able to put enough pressure. This can have multiple reasons - Survivors were just better would be one. Or simply the Map, it is a super-huge Map. Or you get on Cowshed where a lot of strong Tiles can spawn back to back. Or, the newest addition: You are at a much lower Rank than the Survivors, where it is impossible to pressure them, because they are on a different Skill Level.

Other Content Creators however are terribly one-sided and they are also more vocal. Like tru3ta1ent, he is clearly Killer-sided, hiding this behind "I play both sides". All of his arguments can be countered by himself, like he claims that people say that when a Killer loses that the Killer player was bad and not that Survivors are too strong. However, when he loses as Survivor, the Survivors were bad, but no word about the Killer being good here. Or some arguments are simply dumb - like the Balanced Landing Nerf, was normalization to him. But when a solid Object on a Map gets its collision (which it should have in the first place) so that Huntress cannot throw through it, it is a clear Killer Nerf. Whoever follows his opinions should really watch other Content Creators first and then think about it.

    Anyway, aside from Content Creators:

I feel that players should trust the Devs. They know far more about the game and its development than 99% of the playerbase (including me and their Fog Whisperers, I dont want to exclude me from that). DBD is a great game, when it comes to visual appearance and gameplay. The Balance might not be 100% there, but it is more balanced than it ever was. And the Bugs, of course. But I have a lot of fun playing this game, and people who complain will also have it - otherwise they would just leave instead of constantly coming back to it. And even if the Devs dont play a lot of DBD or are not good at it - sure they are not good at the game. As a Developer, you need to know what is going on but not being good at the game. Because instead of playing it, you are developing it. A Dev will never be as good as a Fog Whisperer, who creates content for DBD, sometimes even for a living. And honestly, if I would work on DBD as a fulltime Job, when I come home, I most likely dont want to spend my time with DBD as much as I am doing that know (like, working in a restaurant as a cook, you will probably not eat there and rather grab a Burger from McDonalds, which will be worse and more unhealthy, but is different from what you are doing the whole day).

Personally, I will exclude myself from Ruin Discussions until it is live and people have tested it. It is kinda draining to tell the same thing over and over again, because I have some points which are simply true, because I am playing Killer myself in higher Ranks, and I am NOT good at playing Killer in my opinion. I am pretty sure that many Killers on this Forum will and are perfoming better than me and they will still do that without Ruin. But maybe people will experience the same as I did, when stopping to run Ruin - that it feels more relaxed, because you dont have to care for 7 Gens, 4 Survivors AND a Totem and you dont need to feel ultra-pressured when its gone.

So yeah, thank you for this Thread. Nice to see that Forum Users put some thoughts in it. Sadly you will be demolished here, but you are absolutely correct with what you are saying.

  • Yeah, Dedicated Servers.

And no, they are not ready, but BHVR does not really care (which is the only thing bothering me, because saying that the Dedicated Servers are being tested was a lie, they were simply implemented and will stay, even tho they are far from ready).

By not following the forum rules https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/87004/forum-rules

I think a lot of warnings at least are given out for "making light of serious issues" (see the rules), but I expect a lot of bans come from getting into a heated argument with another forum member. You'll notice a lot of disrespectful and derogatory posts that lack anything constructive, or one member specifically targeting another member and "calling them out" for whatever reason (which is a no-no, even if you're right). Accusing a member of anything publicly isn't taken well; if you think they're posting bait, ignore it; if you think they're using an alt account, flag it; use the official means to report cheaters; etc.

    Something to add:

Most likely the posts which lead to a Ban are not visible anymore because they either got moved to an archive or were deleted straight away.

This can also lead to some confusion why certain people are banned.

Sometimes you will get stomped regardless cause of a bad map/low tier killer/extremely sweaty swf or all of the mentioned ones. Besides, what person even plays for rank lmao,no one will play legion just to pip cause no one cares about rank in this game. Unless you keep getting stomped over and over again, then i can see your statement. Conversation wasn't about killers anyway, but you always need to mention killers aswell in any topic that is made. I always see you in threads in which people pretty much cry about ruin nerf, or any nerfs in general to killers and then talk about how much nerfs survivors got over years,or anything to make survivor seem weak for some reason even though it's clear that it's the stronger role out of the two.

Because everything that people say about Survivors can be applied 1:1 to Killers. Except that on this Forum Killers are the little Angels. I mean, Survivors DC? Yeah, a Hag DCed on me just a few minutes ago, because her Ruin got cleansed instantly. Because she did not want to play with 3 Perks (meanwhile she was running Ruin AND saying that Great Skill Checks are easy to hit... why run Ruin then?).

Both sides are full of Crybabies and people who main one side, are the worst. Like, I play both sides, both at Red Ranks (and I dont think I belong into Red Ranks as Killer). But I also know that you dont need Ruin and I highly doubt that people are quitting because of it. Because one Perk does not guarantee a win or loss, it does not even have a major impact on the outcome (except you are vsing Potatoes, but this is not the case in Red Ranks (even tho, this will change, because with the new Ranking System everyone will end up in Red Ranks eventually)).

So yeah, I mention Killers, because I am kinda tired of getting called the "bad guy", only because I play (and enjoy) more Survivor than Killer.

  • Nah, next week, earliest.

that's very untrue,if you think it takes the same amount of skill to get to red ranks as a killer and as a survivor then idk what to say to ya. Killers most of the time are more skillful, not always but most of the times, but there still are people that get carried by noed, idk how else would a killer boost themselves higher tho except noed

I dont know whats skillful to pip with Legion basically any game because you stab people a Gajillion times.

And nope, not every Killer deserves to be in Red Ranks. Clearly visible when they get stomped by Survivors. Because this is a good indicator that you are at a Rank you dont belong.

  • @luka2211 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/995998#Comment_995998

Stats are flawed, cause more than 80% of red ranks don't even belong there and have less than 200 hrs ingame. The immersed ones, that are somehow red ranks cause of the ######### emblem system but in reality don't belong there, and therefore ruin the stats, or better called the "potatoes" which is 80% of soloQ while playing

Quite a lot of Killers also dont belong to Red Ranks.

  • "Regarding their gaming experience most of the devs seem only casual and not into overly challenging games. "

Not that DBD is an overly challenging game and not a casual game.

  • I would use:

    Iron Will

    BT

    DS

    Kindred

Out of those, when playing Solo. Iron Will in general is a REALLY good Perk and can help you a lot. BT to get those save Safes. DS because you cannot trust random Teammates and Kindred to boost your own and others efficiency.

  • Spirit.

Nearly all of her Add Ons are solid to begin with, except the passive Phasing Add Ons, those are a little bit gimmicky and not that useful.

Now the Amulet and Prayer Beads are not that useful as they were before, but their Nerfs were justified. But when looking at the green Add Ons, they are REALLY good for just being green (like Speed and Duration).

  • As Survivor: Rarely see them, Rank 1, PC. I know that some people claim that they get Moris everygame, but this is not the case (as well as there are no Keys in every game). Yesterday I got morid, but on Death Hook, the only difference was that I was not able to use my DS in that case, but its fine. Was a Clown who just wanted to mori someone because he likes it. So not that "Ruin/PGTW/Stridor/BBQ Spirit with Ebony".

As Killer: I most likely dont use Moris. If I see a 4 man SWF with a lot of Stuff (mostly Toolboxes, I dont care about Flashlights), I will equip a Mori. I try to not use it, but when I have to, I will (or if they act toxic).

  • @LordGlint said:

You can generally tell the difference between someone who pushed the button and someone who crashed/pulled the plug by the sound effect that follows. If theres a sound effect, they pushed the button. The reasons you stated, such as crashing in loading screen and such is actually the very reasons they HAVEN'T implemented the changes yet. I DO see rage quitters fairly frequently, so would be nice to have something done about that. If screws over the team when someone nopes out. Ive had survivors disappear from my arms and screw over nearby teammates who wouldve gotten alot more of a head start if I had finished walking to a hook.

As far as the suicide on hook thing... Frankly, if a survivor FINDS me so they can die as soon as the game starts because they dont like the killer/map/whatever... I'll leave em slugged. They can either have their time wasted on the ground or have their time wasted waiting for a DC timeout.

I know, but you cannot tell if they actually crashed or simply pulled the plug.

Regarding Suiciding: Nothing can be done about that. And this is why the DC penalty is quite meaningless, of course a Killer is fine with a Survivor killing themselves, they get a bunch of points and their BBQ Stack. But as Survivor, for me there is no difference if that guy kills himself or DCs.

As Survivor it does also not make a difference if the Killer who gets Haddonfield DCs or simply decides to stand in a corner, facing the Wall.

  • Problem with Dying Light is that it also buffs one Survivor. So if you want to go for Slowdown including Dying Light, you have one Survivor who can negate Sloppy Butcher or Thanatophobia. And who also does not give any stacks while being hooked. Only really an Option on Plague IMO.

  • @Hag.is.Dtier said:

I'll agree with the exception of thana. That perk is trash and is ruined by people who bring we'll make it and med kits.

Plague and Legion might be an option for it, but thats it. On the rest of the Killers I simply dont understand why people are wasting a Perk Slot for Thanatophobia.

    @Topic:

If you are a Killer who can put the Survivors under a lot of Pressure, new Ruin can indeed be better. If you force Survivors into altruistic Actions by hooking and downing people, they need to leave their Gen, which results in Regression. Which is a pretty decent concept, not gonna lie.

I think the main point is that you, as Killer, most likely dont get any feedback, what new Ruin is doing. You cannot hear missed Skill Checks, because Survivors will most likely dont miss them.

I just hope that Killers dont go for that massive Slowdown anymore. Because Tracking and Chase Perks might be even more useful than Slowdown-Perks. And I also think that especially the combination of Ruin and PGTW (which is used a lot) is quite frustrating for newer players - you struggle with the Ruin Skill Checks and then the Killer comes around and removes a lot of progress you have done.

(PGTW is the better Perk anyway. AND you have to work for it)

  • I dont get that many DCs, the DCs I got yesterday were almost all Crashes. (1 while playing Killer, two while playing Survivor). This of course only when they did not pull the cable, but one guy was healing me, so I doubt he decided to drop out at exactly that point.

Thing is, the DC penalty should not be implemented as long as the game is broken. You may end up being stuck or HAVE to DC because of a Bug. Or you simply crash in Loading Screen. It would be really bad if you get punished for the game having problems.

  • @USELESS said:

With balanced landing they just removed a thing that almost do nothing on the perk, also it's sightly rare see someone using it,but ruin is a perk that almost every killer use and it got completely changed

They removed the only reason to use Balanced Landing. Given the fact how situational it is, it is not worth a Perk Slot anymore. Ruin will most likely still be used (less, of course). I mean, Streamers and Youtubers already said that Ruin will still be good. Monto said that it "slows the game down, just a little bit" and is even doing that, when you are not a Potato. Tofu is predicting that people will say in a few months that new Ruin is OP (that is something I would doubt).

    @DonZwiebel said:

I still don't understand why so many killers are using Ruin. In higher ranks survivors are just pushing through gens as Ruin wasn't there or one of them spawns directly in front of it and its gone instantly. So the time Ruin buys is almost unnotable to me. (Playing both sides, but as killer tried Ruin only a few times where it did almost nothing).

    ikr?

Spawned on a Ruin yesterday. It was gone instantly and the Killer (Oni) got a 4K. This man must be a god when he still gets that without his Ruin!

  • @Eceelf said:

With respect ruin and balanced landing? Not a fair comparison. The ruin nerf didn't need to happen it did players couldn't even give feedback for it on the ptb. A lot of killers outright quit and it shows with matchmaking.

A fair comparison would be if they removed the ability for survivors to heal themselves and eachother well that's essentially what has happened to killers ruin was essentially a band aid for a much bigger issue and without it you got a gaping wound in the killers legs. Not to say ruin is needed all the time it really depends on the survivors rather than a killers personal skill.

You overestimate Ruin. Ruin is not that strong. It is not needed in a way you want it to be needed.

And to be honest, both are indeed compareable. The BL-Nerf was not necessary as well, because all the Maps were BL was strong still suck for Killers. So why not rework the Maps? Because its easier to just nerf BL.

    @Topic:

When I read the Forums, only Survivors are toxic and Killers are Angels. And only toxic to pay back those Survivors who use a Flashlight to safe someone or dont go down in 2 seconds. Bloody Survivors!

  • The Symbol means that it is for both, you can complete it with Killer or Survivor. And well, you need to disturb the Crows which are in the Levels.

I would try to do it via Swamp, because at the Pantry and the Ship are big Crowbombs, one of those is easily enough.

    DC is never justified

Thats because DC is ALWAYS harmful to the survivior team, the only exception is the "I DC you get the hatch" tactic, but its toxic and should be punished.

Are you getting facecamped? The longer you are on hook, the more time your team has.

Are you getting tunneled? Same as above, at least the killer wont bother anyone else.

Did you vault into a Bear Trap like an idiot 1min into the game? Nobody ######### cares, carry on.

Toxic killer plays should obviously be punished too, but that doesnt justify DC. You are not playing alone. If you dont like teamwork then play killer and DC as much as you want.

Every DC should count as a full sacrifice for killer and up to 2k in altruism depending on the game progress for surviviors.

You dont have to talk to me like that. I dont DC and I hate when people DC, but I cannot blame anyone for DCing vs Iri Head Huntress or stuff like that. Or if another Survivor already DCed, I dont blame anyone DCing afterwards because there is not really a point in playing the game anymore.

    But here:

"Every DC should count as a full sacrifice for killer and up to 2k in altruism depending on the game progress for surviviors."

I disagree. Killers dont need to be encouraged to play as dirty as possible because a DC will benefit them a lot. Like, there is no need that someone plays Slugging Nurse with Knockout and tries to Onehook everyone (which will result in a DC) and then also rewarding them for that.

And as Survivor, 2k in any Category does not do anything. This is the same argument with the Husk-System - Killers get their BBQ-Stack and so on, but Survivors get nothing. Even if you can unhook the Husk (which was never talked about), the Husk will not do any Gens or run the Killer around.

Eh. Disconnects should count as a full on sacrifice, and for the survivors, the game shouldn't count towards rank after the DC.

I honestly don't get why disconnects don't count as a sacrfice for emblems, BP and achievements/challenges alike. Seems a lot simpler to fix how survivor DCs can screw killers than how they screw other survivors.

It should not be promoted in any way that Killers can get the most dirty ways of playing (where people decide to DC the most) and still get rewarded for it. Of course DCs also happen because players are simply Dicks, but sometimes I cannot blame anyone for a DC.

However, neither Killers nor Survivors should depip when one player (Killer or Survivor) disconnects from the Game. If the game is still enough for a Pip - great. If it is a Blackpip anyway, sure. But if one player would depip, he should get a Blackpip instead.

Well, the answer is basically twofold - firstly, because the survivors themselves aren't punished enough for it (which luckily is something that should be remedied soon) and secondly, because the emblem system itself is heavily flawed and needs to be revisited

Its hard to implement a Punishment System when you can still ruin other peoples games by Suiciding or AFKing, while you will also get punished for the game being broken. :/

Like, I dont want to get a punishment because my game crashed on Loading.

  • You know, there is one basic rule for that. If you notice something like that and you are not sure if others did not notice it before, dont mention it to anyone.

Thats like when I was in Paris with a friend of mine and we both were not able to sleep when he said "The worst thing is the sound of the TV"... i did not hear the TV before...

I uncorked you and your team both as Ghostface and Crapper, you're no in no position to call out anyone about anything. Maybe try actually playing the game and learning, instead of pulling the cable.

In fact you only camped, tunneled and BMed the whole game, assuming that we were a 4 man SWF (which we were not) and accusing me of DCing in your games (which was also not the case). Sad creature.

Dont wonder when you lose all Gens when you camp a Hook like that.

  • What about elaborating instead of whining?

WHY should he be the worst Killer in the game?

  • Ah, I see, you are one of those guys who think that Ruin is absolutely mandatory. Well, sucks for you then...

You should at least try to use Corrupt on Trapper, Hag and Myers, it works better than Ruin, trust me.

Set up killers needed ruin. Trapper hag myers very weak early game pressure.

Corrupt is way better for all of them.

Again you say this, but if it becomes meta for everyone to wait that is the same as All 4 survivors searching for Ruin for exactly two minutes and doing nothing else. True then you would be down to three perk slots but Even in its current state I think most killers would count that as a positive.

Thing is, if no Survivor is really doing anything and is hiding, you will get no value. No broken Pallets, no chases, no Hits/Downs whatsoever. It is basically like the first two minutes of the game did not exist and it just starts when Corrupt Intervention is over.

And yes, this would be the most effective way to deal with Corrupt Intervention as Survivor, IF the Killer does not have Whispers. However, this will most likely not happen. It will most likely not happen that all 4 Survivors do nothing.

Like, I would not do that. I am in the game to play it and not to wait for two minutes before doing anything.
