No because that is preventing that player from trying to progress the game, patrolling a 3 gen and not letting the survivors pull you away in a chase is not preventing anyone from trying to play the game, thats the nuance in that sitiuation.
Its funny that you use "progressing" first, but then switch to "playing" when it comes to the 3-Gen.

People complain about Iron will not working while they are exhausted, if they wont run it with an exhaustion perk even though you still get value out of it most of the match, I can pretty much guarentee that 90% of people still wouldnt run your version.
Almost everyone overblows the 25% reduction, the perk is fine as it is, you still get plenty of value out it. Its just not OP anymore so it gets left by the wayside, its also less used because everyone just heals instead of staying injured anyways.
Saying that most people would not run "my" version is a little bit funny considering that almost nobody runs Iron Will anyway. At least my version (100% reduction, but perma-exhausted) would be a change which can be tried. Might still be unpopular, but maybe more popular than current Iron Will.
And no, the 25% reduction is not overblown. What is the point of a Perk which should help with stealth, when it does not help with stealth? 75% Reduction might help against some crappy 5 Dollar-Headsets or Killers playing on Speakers, but any Killer who is at least somewhat decent will have a Headset which is good enough to hear you with new Iron Will.
-
First of all, lets see if any Buffs are needed. Because I am very sure that the impact of the Icons will be minimal. A Survivor who wants to loot chests will not suddenly stop doing that if they see that another Survivor is chased or that nobody is doing Gens.
And if you are experienced, you already know what to do, even without any Icons.

The goal of the survivors is to escape. The goal of the killers is to prevent the survivors from escaping. If survivors are actively not trying to repair gens, they are not progressing the game. If the killer is actively trying to prevent the survivors from escaping, they are progressing the game.
The point is. In a 3-gen scenario, if the killer leaves the 3-gen, they lose. Why should the killer be expected to throw away the game any more than the survivors?
Dragging the game out to the hard cap of 1 hour (formerly 2 hours) should really not count as "prevent the survivors from escaping".
But I will stop discussing with you. You just dont want to understand it that a Killer who is not trying to go for Kills is holding the game hostage.
And honestly, I have better things to do than talking to a wall.

That was talking about a very specific circumstance where the player was specifically trolling by slugging, using doctor to constantly make people madness 3 with CDR on it and never actually hooking. There is a different between patrolling your 3 gen and only chasing survivors in moments where it makes sense, and actively trying to make the game as miserable as possible.
The point i'm making is. If i'm patrolling my 3 gen, and every time a survivor tries to get me away from it, they run to the opposite end of the map toward the strongest structures and/or where i don't have a pallet deadzone, chasing them would literally cost me the game. So it makes 0 sense for me to chase them.
But at some point you HAVE to advance the game as Killer. If the Survivors are not holding it hostage by hiding, the Killer is holding it hostage by not trying to kill them.
Otherwise, we can start saying that Survivors can hide when there is a strong 3-Gen. In the end, their goal is to survive, and they will most likely die when they try to repair Gens in a 3-Gen.
But everyone knows that this would be a stupid way of thinking. But if the Killer is doing the same, it is completely justified, eh?

Please don't ruin my Ada. I love playing her with iron will. If the survivor volume change makes certain survivors louder, that'll just make iron will even more useless.
This will happen. Loud Survivors will be more quiet and quiet Survivors will be louder.
And yeah, it sucks. And all of that just so that they can say that they changed the Meta.

Unless you can provide some kind of evidence for that, there is no way that patrolling generators is against the rules. And if that is the case, i'll quit the game today, because that would be completely ridiculous.
This was done in other Therads were you also participated. The example was a Doctor who did not do any effort to go for Kills.
And you can patrol Generators. But you cannot just stop doing your Objective to protect your 3-Gen without any intention of getting Kills or Downs.

If it gave Perma exhausted status then it would never be used again.....lowring the sound reduction was a healthy direction to go since sound is the main way Killers have to find survivors and it totally countered Stridor. No perk should completely counter another like that..hinder it but not counter it
Nah, you can still run it while perma-exhausted. You just cannot run an Exhaustion-Perk. But without 100% Sound Reduction, you do not even have to bother running Iron Will.
Regarding Stridor - this Perk was only used on one Killer. Even when Killers complained about Iron Will, they did not run Stridor on any other Killer than Spirit. So basing your argument on such a bad Perk-Design like Stridor is not really helpful.

"The only thing this does (bringing Survivor sounds more in line) is removing uniqueness from Survivors."
Let's be real, survivors are just skins. Besides how they look what else is unique about them?
Voices, volume etc. also make Survivors unique. And it is just fitting that a big guy like Jeff or Ash is louder than smaller characters.
@SmolBlob said:
Old Iron Will was insanely unhealthy design.
100% reduction, lasts infinitely, unconditional. That was beyond unacceptable.
Survivors having different sound levels is a bad thing. A survivor should not be a gameplay advantage to another.
Yeah, but it would have been enough to change Iron Will in a way that it gives perma-Exhaustion. This would mean that you cannot have a very strong Stealth-Perk AND a strong Exhaustion-Perk. But the Double-Nerf made it useless. Even if you cut the Exhaustion-Part, Iron Will would not be used, because anything below 100% Noise Reduction is pointless.
But, as said before - Iron Will is one Perk which got nerfed too hard to remove it from the Meta. Nothing more.
-
@Mandy said:
I think there's a misconception here, we're adjusting the audio sounds so that survivors will have roughly equal sounds however, that might be an increase to some or a decrease to others, we did not say we were making survivors quieter.
Iron Will is not supposed to make survivors completely silent.
And this will keep Iron Will useless. Unless there is 100% Noise Reduction, the Perk is not worth any Perk Slot, unless you are playing against Console-Killers who use their Speakers instead of a Headset.
The only thing this does (bringing Survivor sounds more in line) is removing uniqueness from Survivors.

"is still too strong and a relic of the past which really should not exist like that"
Your "relic from the past that shouldn't exist", if it falls against a team of competent and organized survivors, it will have a worthy opponent, which will make for a really interesting game 😋
And I'm talking about a nurse with a double recharge addon 🙂
After that, of course, the survivors have to be competent and organized but that's up to them 😎
That said, the full aura reading build is very satisfying to play, on the nurse! 😍
Since there is no slowdown perk, you can only rely on your speed and accuracy, which makes it an excellent training 🤗
By the way, which aura reading perks do you prefer ?
I dont know, most Nurse-games dont feel like they have worthy opponents.
Personally, I run: Shadowborn (learned her with Shadowborn and cannot remove it...), BBQ, Lethal Pursuer and Floods of Rage. So basically trying to be in a chase all the time. Even tho, I am thinking about removing Floods of Rage and run Nowhere to Hide instead. I dont like Genkicking, but I used Nowhere to Hide on Huntress recently (before I tried Darkness Revealed, but Nowhere to Hide is just better) and it is such a great Perk.

I think that the real reason BHVR hasn't touched nurse substantially is because they don't want to get accused of being PTW... Which could easily be fixed by just, you know, maybe buffing the other used-to-be top tier killer that got gutted for no reason at all?
I doubt it. Because they have touched other Killers which were also F2P or available via Shards. And Perks on both sides which came with the Basegame.
I think there are two reasons why they dont rework her:
- The backlash. It would be huge. Even if she would be a strong Killer afterwards, people would complain a lot.
- They have no idea what to do. They tried it years ago by giving her a Token-system and it did not change that much. And this Nerf will also not change that much. And personally, I also have no idea how to rework her that she stays unique, is fun to play and still strong (but not busted). Because in the end, only a Rework will make sense. Nerfs will either keep her too strong (like the Nerf a few years ago and the upcoming one) or too weak (which should also not be the goal).

Yep this was me as well. I prophesized sprint burst meta as well, and like you I was expecting it to be dh to become dead dead. But yeah 4 sprint bursts are really damn annoying.
Oh, not even 4 Sprint Bursts. I even find one Sprint Burst annoying, I dont know, for some reason it really annoys me, seeing the Survivor slowly walking, while knowing exactly that they will sprint into safety once I come close. Or that they are able to sit on a Gen until the last second.
DH does not really annoy me at all compared to Sprint Burst. Maybe a bit when the Survivor goes down two times without using it, but the third time it is the best DH of their life and they escape because of it, while I thought the whole time they dont have the Perk.

True, DBD wouldnt release her now, they'd be too busy releasing absolutely handicapped survivo- ehm, "killers" like Knight that scream "we care for survivor fun more than killer fun!"
She is a relic of the past because she is actually one of the very few killers that survivors actually fear, which is how it should be for literally every killer in the game.
Nah, she is a relic of the past because she was released during a time where DBD was WAY differen than before. There was so much broken stuff which justified having Nurse around. But this is not the case anymore.
And if you really think, the Devs care about Survivors fun when they release a Killer like The Knight, you are so wrong. Knight is a pain to go against and really unfun. He is probably the generally most hated Killer in this game.

I got tunnelled once for playing swiffer with an iri map and key.
Except I was playing solo with a dumpster diver build and plucked those items out of chests over the course of the trial. And the key was broken, too.
To be fair, I understand the tunneling because of a Key. At least back then, when they were strong and made it able for multiple Survivors to escape. Nobody wants to risk having 3 Survivors left with 1 Gen to go and see them all escape through the Hatch.
Main reason why broken Keys should be just left in the chest.

This makes me wonder if there's a way to balance slowdown against resource use, like "every time pain res activates, a random pallet respawns." I'm not suggesting exactly that, but I think the general idea of giving survivors back resources in exchange for slowdown should be explored.
The other side is that slowdown is pretty much mandatory when facing a well-organized group if you don't want the gens done in 5 minutes. I really wish we could get a better picture of our opponents' skill as killer so that we can decide how we want to play. I don't want to bring stacked slowdown against new solo players. That's not fun for me and it's not fun for them.
The thing is, if you have a random event when Slowdown is happening, this has the chance to be either too strong or too weak. If I go with your example, you can get back a really strong Pallet (imagine having to deal with a second Shack Pallet as Killer) or a really weak Pallet (lets say downstairs in Temple of Purguation, one of those which are available even before the Gen got completed), which will not help at all.
When it comes to Slowdown, I would agree that a bit of Slowdown is needed. But what is currently used is way too extreme. And too much synergy as well: Eruption has a lot of Slowdown-Potential alone - 10% instant Regression, then, if nobody touches the Gen, around 6% on top of it. Also, the Survivor cannot work on any Gen for 25 seconds, which is also 28% of a Gen. So one Hit with Eruption would mean that there is already around 44% of Gen Progress gone, so almost half a Gen was added. And we all know that there will not be only one hit with Eruption. And the only counter is to be on Comms and tell when you are about to go down.
And, on top of that, the synergy. With Call of Brine you regress double the Speed AND get information when the Survivor hits a good Skill Check. With Nowhere to Hide (which is completely fine on its own), you can get in a chase really quick after applying Eruption AND Call of Brine.
And all of that is simply too much and not really needed. And I am very sure, once Eruption is nerfed (which will happen), a lot of Killers will get a lot of really bad games because they relied too much on too much Slowdown.
Personally, I think there should be more spice to repairing a Generator. Like, really a second Objective. Obviously you dont have 90 second Gens and add a second Objective, which also takes time on top of it. But even if we just say that Survivors have to gather Parts and it should take them 45 seconds and THEN we reduce time on a Gen to 45 seconds, this would also be an improvement. To get one Gen done, it would still be 90 seconds, but the Killer would have more ways to interrupt, simply because Survivors have to move and cannot work on a Gen instantly. It would not be direct Slowdown, but some form of "natural" Slowdown. (But this is just hypothetic, including the numbers. And I doubt it will ever come, DBD is over 6 years old, we wont see any Changes to the Core Mechanics Hooking and doing Gens)
-
Yeah, after I got tunneled for "everyone is running DH", while I was the only one not running it, I dont believe stuff like that anymore.
-
The actual problem is that Nurse is still too strong and a relic of the past which really should not exist like that. You always have to ask - would DBD release a Killer like her nowadays? And the answer is a clear "No".
And well, naturally Killers switch to as much Slowdown as possible, because it is the easiest way to play Killer. You drag out the game, which means less ressources, which means easier chases, which results in more Downs, followed by more Slowdown and so on. And honestly, if you need 20 minutes to kill 4 Survivors, who are most likely better than you, you should not win.
Last but not least - for me, nothing will change. I play Nurse with my Build, which is full Aura Read (except for Shadowborn). And I mostly go against Nurses who already stack Slowdown a lot and a Starstruck-Nurse is quite a rarity. (Because, again - stacking Slowdown is easier, so more players go for that... Even on Nurse)
-
Probably the Ping of the Killer. Also, Nurse always looked really wonky.
But something is going on with Wesker. Two things happen quite frequently:
I jump through a Window, am on the other side and get teleported back to get crashed into said window.
And, even worse - I drop a Pallet, but Wesker grabs me and crashes me INTO the Pallet I just dropped...
And this started to happen a lod after the Knight-Chapter. So I am not really sure if it is only Ping.
-
Yeah, I was one of them. But to be fair, I expected them to completely nuke DH into Oblivion. And given the fact that they did basically this to Balanced Landing, not a unreasonable assumption.
And personally, I am fine with more DHs. I think Sprint Burst was even more annoying than old DH, but with new DH this applies even more.
-
@Sonzaishinai said:
Intentional from what i know
All blocking the gen does is stop it from regressing
Any other form of damage like jolt or pain res still hit it
The gen will not regress untill it stops being blocked though
Usually a blocked Gen should not regress.
But there is currently a Bug that it still regresses. This goes for all Regression, aka a Gen regresses while blocked via Deadlock or when it with Pain Resonance/Dead Mans Switch.

@GensByDaylight said:
TBH, its probably a DDOS attack, some surviviors will DDOS you if they get mad, and feel you winning the chase is "unfair".
Or, which would be a more realistic take - the issue lies on OPs end. This is the case most of the time.
-
The Buffs are nice, I had some fun testing them out against the Bots on the PTB. Will see more once it hits live (I dont play Killer on the PTB). But overall, Knight needs a complete power-rework. He is probably one of the most hated Killers, regardless if someone is playing him or playing against him.
And personally, I am still disappointed, since I wanted a Knight-Killer for years, and when it arrived, it was just #########.
I honestly thought/hoped for some Mobility-ability of the Knight-Killer I wanted for years. And I thought, with Maurice disappearing from his Map that it will be used as the Knights Horse and give him some form of mobility.
-
Why is it, whenever someone wants to complain about a Survivor-Perk that they argue with "takes no skill to use"?
No Perk in DBD needs any skill. In general, DBD does not need much skill overall.
Stupid argument, really.

I'm pretty sure with the challenge you don't need to have the hex active just equipped - so as long as you use other perks (or killers) that would expose a survivor and use a mori offering it will count for the challenge. I could be wrong but that tends to be the case with other challenges for killer and survivor when they say to use a perk - there have been plenty of killer challenges that say "hit a survivor while they're exposed using x perk" and players used Myers tier 3 instead of whatever the perk required to make someone exposed, they just had the perk equipped.
^ this.
You just need to have Devour Hope equipped, but you dont need the effects of Devour Hope. So just having Devour Hope and playing Myers with Fragrant Tuft of Hair and a Mori will do the trick.

Fogwise works with Hyperfocus and Stakeout in a SWF much in the way old OoO did - you have near constant uptime on killer vision.
Nah, it was "nice exploits". This was also before the RPD-Rework (because this is how Otz was able to block the Exit Gate, since you cannot pass the Main Gate on RPD when both Twins are blocking it). Would not be possible anymore because now there are two paths to reach this Exit Gate.
And totally possible that we played against each other, but only when you play on EU-Servers. But I dont really remember that I faced a Hag in months, she is super rare and probably the rarest Killer to go against for me.
(We both use Prove Thyself tho, mostly because of the BPs, but I also dont know any other Perk I want to run)

Although...nice attempt at an ad-hom, I guess? You've gone mean recently Aven.
Not Hacker, exploit, because he blocked one Exit Gate with both Victor and Charlotte.
And nope, I only ran it, when it was new, to test it out. But as I have said many times - whenever you were not against a Wesker on RPD, it was not really good.
And well, it is really only you who is mentioning it. I neither see it ingame nor in posts on this Forum. Because the combo is just not good.
-
Dont see this build at all. And I only see you posting about it all the time.
-
Nurse does not even need Add Ons in the first place. They can all be Meme-Add Ons and she would still be the strongest Killer by a mile.
-
I mean, obviously they will not clearly say it is due to Nurse. This would be pretty bad marketing if they admit that they have to nerf things because of one Killer. Because then you would actually have to ask, why they dont nerf the respective Killer.
However, since this is getting done with the Midchapter-Patch (to an extend, will not solve the actual problem with Nurse), there is a possibility that Awakened Awareness might be reverted or even buffed further. Not saying that it 100% will happen, could be entirely possible that the Devs are fine with its current state.
But at least Nurse is not holding back a potential Buff anymore.

You just need to walk sideways alternating each side. It might get a couple runs of practice to get accustomed to, but the swaying ain't that effective. The hook aura hiding is what really might get you in indoor maps, or the fact that you might be forced to drop.
I mean, I will test it today on the PTB with Base 20% and in combination with Boil Over. But I just think that the 1 second maximum wiggle reduction was not problematic to be removed, especially if you replace it with something that has the POTENTIAL to be more annoying.
WIll know more after testing, maybe it is not impactful at all and thats it.
-
@HugTheHag said:
Can't wait to see how it will work with Boil Over.
This is the thing I am a bit worried about. IMO the 1 second shaved off if every great Skill Check was hit is nothing that warrants a change and the 20% stronger wiggle at base can be roughly the same. But paired with Boil Over and if there is some stuff lying around or doors which need to be passed, it can be more annoying than the potential of shaving off 1 second of Wiggle Progress.

There would be a big outcry because there's one of him and four of you.
A lot of Survivor mains forget this aspect of game design.
The killer NEEDS ways of making it so you cannot take actions. That is why people get tunneled. That is why people get slugged. That is why perks like Thrill of the Hunt and Sloppy Butcher exist. It is why the Mending mechanic exists.
Then make it 6 seconds. This is 1/4 of Eruption and still there would be complaints. Just imagine not being able to kick a strong Pallet for 6 seconds?
And well, with everything you mentioned, the Survivor can still do more than with Eruption... Even when slugged they can at least recover, which is some form of Progress. Incapacitated blocks everything (except for Unhooks).

Why would you EVER need to get off a gen that wasn't kicked? You act like EVERY person would need to drop what they are doing anytime a chase started. If you get on a gen that has seen no action all game, there's zero reason to get off it.
While this is true, I will never know if this Gen has not been kicked before.
And in general, your idea of just letting go of the Gen once a Survivor is injured is just super-bad. Even IF the Survivor is decent in Chase, this does not matter at all if there is no Gen Progress.
Eruption/Incapacitated is just really, really bad gamedesign and needs to go away. If there would be a Survivor Perk which disables everything a Killer can do for just 10 seconds, there would be a big outcry. But it seems to be totally fine that a Killer Perk can disable everything a Survivor can do for almost half a minute, with a Cooldown which is just slightly longer.

Hard disagree, starstruck+agitation may be bs, but if the nurse failed her blinks the combo lost effectiveness, now nurse players can change those perks for slowdown, making it so there is less skilled required to play nurse as all the perks you used for basic attacks will be replaced with slowdown, and you will have more time in the match in case you miss blinks, your mistakes won't get punished as hard as before.
Hoping that the Nurse is bad is not really a counter to Nurse or Starstruck.
And even IF Nurse blinks two times AND swings (worst possible outcome for her), her penalty is quite small compared to other Killers which are weaker than her.

So instead of Eruption making the Survivor unable to do anything for 25 seconds, they should to it themselves for potentially even longer?
Yeah, totally reasonable.../s

@lemonsway said:
Rather than Nerfing Eruption i'd just revert the Pop Goes the Weasel Nerf. Another viable option is better than just nerfing what is Meta and reshuffling the deck.
I'd revert the DS nerf aswell while there isn't a better solution for Tunnelling (i'd revamp the entire Hooking system but since that won't happen anytime...). Clearly the Baske Kit Borrowed Time Change hasn't discouraged killers from tunnelling.
The problem is that each strong Gen Kick-Perk which is added will just make Eruption basically better.
Removing 22,5 seconds from a Gen instantly means that there are 22,5 seconds more time to down the Survivor before the Gen gets completed.
So while in theory giving more options result in more variety (e.g. when Balanced Landing was good, not everyone ran DH), if PGTW has the same trigger like Eruption (kicking Gens) you just make it worse.
@Topic:
Yeah, really dont understand why they do nothing to Eruption. Some things which are coming were not expected (like Knight-changes, I thought it might still too early for this), but I totally expected an Eruption-Nerf, because while the Devs clearly were not playtesting, the general consensus about this Perk is pretty clear.

According to who? If the devs are happy with her, then her design is fine. You are in no position to say she doesn’t fit the game.
Nurse is basically the only thing back from "old DBD" (gameplay- and mechanic-wise) which was really, really strong back then and is still allowed to exist. Nurse was the strongest Killer when Survivors were the strongest, and Survivors get nerfed constantly since the launch of the game (rightfully, for the most part).
So yeah, at some point, this design failure (aka Nurse) can be adressed. Sure, there will be some Nerfs and probably the Pickrate will drop, because many will think Nurse is "gutted", but give it 2 months at max and everyone who abandoned Nurse will realize that she is still strong. And will still dominate.
And I can only guess, but the Devs are either scared to rework her in a meaningful way OR have no idea how they can change her that she is somewhat unique and not too strong or too weak. Because you cannot nerf Nurse, she will either be too strong or too weak. With those changes, she will still be too strong.
Overall, it is a joke that Nurse can exist like this, especially if we get more and more Killers who are harder to play than her and still weaker.

You have absolutely no way of knowing that Kate wouldn't have been constructive with more information at hand. Most survivors will be more efficient with constant infallible information at their fingertips. Outliers prove very little.
Its funny, usually Survivors who abandon their team and do nothing to get Hatch are not considered really good or helpful. But when it fits, they can become godlike players, just with a bit of information.
The Information will bridge the gap between SWF and Solo a bit. But Information was never the real strength of SWF.
You will not make bad Survivors good with just a few Icons.

Cant wait for the calm and reasonable survivor crowd to start chanting their Nerf Nurse! mantra in a month again.
Because this Nerf does not change that she is an outdated design which should not exist like this anymore.

I'm pretty sure they do.
"Next, we’ve added a new sound cue when The Nurse has fully regenerated all her blink charges. This way, you’ll know when you’re ready to blink again without having to keep an eye on the corner of your screen."
This is the quote of the Dev-Update. Nothing about the Survivor getting any information, only the Killer.

That's the one thing I was missing from the dev update as well. All the other changes sound great, but eruption not being nerfed is concerning. I hope they just didn't mention it in the dev update and we'll still see at least a nerf to eruption.
Peanits said in another Thread that there are no secret Perk Nerfs. So I highly doubt that Eruption will get its well-deserved Nerf.

Yes, but at high level survivors are already pretty competent against the Nurse. So that will give them that much more control over where they are going, less chance to make a mistake.

Some may do, but I doubt it's what everybody is doing. It can't be everyone gets aura, everyone gets slow-downs, everyone gets 1-shots, ...
"Yes, but at high level survivors are already pretty competent against the Nurse. So that will give them that much more control over where they are going, less chance to make a mistake."
Yeah, but they dont get any more control? The Survivor does not get the sound queue, only the Killer does.

"Anything bad to Killer happens: "We will see more tunneling!"
Anything good to Survivor happens: "We will see more tunneling!""
Because it's true. A more constructive response would have been something like saying how we can make other changes to fix those potential increases in tunneling/camping that will come. Instead you just decided to make a sarcastic/mocking comment to me.
"Acting if Killers are not tunneling and camping like mad anyway. Quite amusing."
Is that what I was acting like? Really?
No, I wasn't, if you actually read it for what it said instead of what you wanted to hear through bias.
Camping and tunneling are happening like mad, that doesn't imply it still can't happen more, which is all I said. It feels like you always come at people looking for an argument and trying to incite instead of for a constructive conversation.
The thing is, saying that it leads to more tunneling is such a stupid take. And it happens all the time when there is some change. At this point, it sounds more like a threat and less like a serious prediction.
Peanits said it pretty well, there is a difference between Survivors getting Icons and Survivors will actually perform in a way that Tunneling and Camping become more necessary.
Example, happening yesterday: 4 Survivors alive, Kate, Steve (both Solo), my SWF-Mate and myself. Kate is on one Hook, Steve is on a second Hook, my SWF-Mate and myself have not been hooked once.
I get hooked and see that Kate is crouching at the corner of the Map. My SWF-Mate gets hooked as well, while Steve and Kate heal. I reach second stage. Steve gets chased, hooked, died. I rescue my SWF-Mate who also reached second stage. Now it is 3v1 with 3 Gens to go, the game is probably over at this point. We managed to do one Gen each (my SWF-Mate and myself), then we both are dead. Kate gets found in a locker and DCs once she got found. She did NOTHING from the moment of her first Hook, except for being at the edge of the Map and going from Locker to Locker.
So, what would the Icons change here? Kate would still dont do anything, even if she sees that my SWF-Mate or I are working on a Gen or being in Chase.
Steve and Kate would still not go for an Unhook so that my Mate or I dont reach second stage. And they had all information available - they knew where all Survivors were (two hooked, last Survivor right next to them).
And this is the problem with those Icons. Yes, they might help. But if the Survivors are not efficient, they wont be more efficient with Icons.
And, furthermore, since tunneling and camping is mentioned - Killer is the easiest it has ever been. And STILL Killers feel the need to tunnel and camp, because the game is even easier when it is an early 3v1. So even if you buff Killers, they will still tunnel and camp. There is not really anything that can be done about it, without making really impactful changes, which can also have a pretty negative impact for the Killer. (or, to be more clear: impact, which makes playing Killer way too hard)

The experienced Nurse will manage, so will the nut-jobs wanting to learn her at all costs.
The others will not play her at all or simply lose.
I'm curious to see how much that notification will affect the chases though. It may be the true killing blow.
... I may burn the thousands of range/recharge add-ons I've never used before they disappear forever/
"I'm curious to see how much that notification will affect the chases though. It may be the true killing blow."
From my understanding, the Nurse player will get a notification when all Blinks are back (similar to Trappers moaning when he has all Traps in his hand).
"Next, we’ve added a new sound cue when The Nurse has fully regenerated all her blink charges. This way, you’ll know when you’re ready to blink again without having to keep an eye on the corner of your screen."
So IMO at worst it will be annoying for some time.

Is it not true?
Can we have a rational conversation instead of just snarky comments at me?
Nah, it is just a classic comment.
Anything bad to Killer happens: "We will see more tunneling!"
Anything good to Survivor happens: "We will see more tunneling!"
Acting if Killers are not tunneling and camping like mad anyway. Quite amusing.

Which translate to, when she downs and hook around 4 times all gens are probably gonna pop.. She will be an M1 killer that have to deal with third health state without any instadown, and we all know what that means. She needed changes but this is killing her completely, they should at least reduce the blink recharge speed to compensate or not take away the range addons.
Wait - you seriously think you need Starstruck on Nurse?

Gonna see a lot more camping/tunneling happening with the hud changes.
Knight still looks like trash. They're incentivizing you to do something bad with still not enough incentive. Fixed none of his core issues or lots of terrible addons.
Optimistic on the Eyrie changes but I hope the map is much smaller in size than "slightly". We need map reworks like this on maps across the board, much faster than 1 at a time with how many maps we need done.
"Gonna see a lot more camping/tunneling happening with the hud changes."
Classic.

The Knight-changes look really good. Might change his playstyle in a way that he is more interesting to play than currently.
