If the developers feel that balance can not be fun, means something is wrong here.

Same girl, same 😌

Damn well I don’t envy you tbh. Then again most my matches lately have been against nurse so I’m not having fun either :(
Aww... 😞

Where are you finding all these clowns? I swear the only time I see him is when I’m playing him
For some reason I play against them a lot. Sometimes 3 times in a row, very common.
-
1. Huntress
2. Clown
3. Bubba
A lot of suffering.
-
Give it to me please..
-
Players become nice if they face a player who has probably just started learning to play with that specific character. But it also does not happen all the time.
There are players who let themselves do something silly in the middle of the game, I don't know if to define them as nice but they give a different atmosphere for a moment.
I guess most people want to play seriously or just can not understand what the other player wants.
If you want to be nice, be nice but do not expect it back.
-
If this teammate was an exemplary teammate, I will save him even if there is 100% chance to go on my third hook.
If I'm not helping it's because we both can't get out of there. (Everyone left except me / I'm injured / we are far from the gate / I don't have a perk that can help us out)
-
The entity: I approve.
-
Vertigo:
After kicking a Generator, the next Survivor touching it will get affected by the Blindness status effect and their hearing sound will reduce by 25% for some time.
Dilemma:
Gain 7% Haste status effect when rescuing a Survivor from the Basement for ?/?/? seconds.
Maybe the survivor perk is useless but i feel like we need a perk to help us from the deadly Basement.
-
I can say that Pinky Finger is similar to getting a hit by the chainsaw, except for the slowdown by his bottle.
Very annoying to deal with this considering that the clown is pretty good at stopping loops.
If i can think of an add-on that considered broken for many, i would say Judith's Tombstone.
Exposed is okay but getting killed healthy is a joke.
-
Since my first day playing the game, every Laurie that played with me left me on the hook, farmed me for points and dropped pallets to block my way. I agree that she can be way too good at looping but i don't know why every Laurie is mean to me in my games. --
As a Cheryl main, I'm not trying to pretend to be better or anything but I like teamwork and I'm always going for the save first.

My crossplay off games on PC are way more sweaty what?
Same but i don't know if we are just unlucky.
-
This is a pretty serious problem when I play with Spirit.
I played against a team that reblessed Shadow Step wherever they could to stop me from using my power.
I could not keep up with the chase and gens, i felt terrible.
-
Some are playing with crossplay off and getting better games, in another words "Chill" games. because the matchmaking can't really match you with a limited number of players with crossplay off.
I don't know the statistics with crossplay off and if it's good all the time, but why not try?
-
The killers I play against are never friendly...
Usually they punch me even before i can emote.
-
Before his changes it's was very hard to play against him with solo teammates.
It was hard to solve the box because he could teleport right away before completing it and Survivors didn't want to go for the box to avoid being chased.
I dislike him less now.
-
I appreciate the time you spend on this experiment.
Take care until then, happy holidays ~
-
The skill check works just like Flashlight save.
Count for 2 seconds and it will appear on your screen.
Focus on the arrow and press, by the third second you will be back on the floor.
Keep on practicing. maybe a skill check simulator will help you?
You may know me from Metro/Narejj streams, or because of my youtube channel. Jk, nobody knows me I'm a French LoL and DbD player, currently studying IT and I like to make useless stuff like this. -
I want to see him with Leon again 😏
-
Trickster, Twins, Legion, Nurse and Bubba.
But I have noticed a significant increase in hatred towards Myers and Huntress too.
-
I'm using a perk roulette with a random challenge attached to it, with a random item as well. I find it fun when it's not too serious and the game is actually going good for me.
Trying new characters or playing with characters i rarely touch, as well as switching between roles.
Also playing with a friend or two can cheer you up.

in·te·gral
/ˈin(t)əɡrəl,inˈteɡrəl/
adjective
adjective: integral
1.
necessary to make a whole complete; essential or fundamental.
Yeah, that does not describe teabagging and flashlight clicking AT ALL. You might wanna find a different word there.
English is not my native language. I meant to say that crouching and flashlights cannot be deleted from the game because toxicity.
-
I was waiting for her just like you! It is a dream come true, she is one of my favorite characters from horror movies.
My expectation is greater than ever considering the fact that it was released a few months before the teasers.
According to the article on Ringu, it may change the game experience and I hope for the better.
If she is going to be fun with the survivors in it, I'll buy this chapter with my eyes closed. New main incoming? high chance indeed.
-
Right now what is considered toxic is tabbing CTRL and flashlights clicks. Provoking their opponent for attention.
The thing is, these things are an integral part of the game and the developers can do nothing about it unless they are going to change the way the flashlights work.
The chat is the most offensive and perhaps unnecessary because it encourages players to speak their mind in a negative way.
In any game, the players find something with which they can "have fun", "annoy" or show "I'm cool".
It can be from using emote immediately after getting a kill / jumping around/ keeping on shooting after a victory etc.
Players can find such behavior toxic as well. I guess the players in DBD were also looking for something similar to mess around with.
The fact that they are with 3 more people in front of a single player encourages them to annoy and bully, they find it fun more than the actual gameplay.
The chase is the fun part and they are taking it far.
When players come up with toxicity in the first place it is not the problem of the developers but the mentality of those players, these people need to work on themselves.
I wonder how the game would be without being able to crouch and use a flashlight. Will the game will stay toxic as it was before?

9 Lives is hilariously situational, and Devious Information is just a middle finger to already one of the worst Killers in the game, Trapper. Not a fan of these two.
What's the max number of Deadly Traps? What's the range of the being? Why is this just a worse version of Trapper somehow?
Punctilious is not explained as much as it should be. How long does it last? Does it affect all Survivors, or just the ones on that generator? Also, it's just a worse Tinkerer.
Hex: Obtest is obnoxious for no reason.
How Hindered are Survivors by Bloody Prey? What even is the point of Bloody Prey?
My concepts are open to adjust and all that is written above are basically a base idea for new characters/perks.
This character is a mix between Demo and Nemesis. I thought his power could help him during the chase and locating survivors.
I haven't written more details because I leave it open for change and opinions.
-
I dodge a lobby if i see Leon. i love him and i can't play against him.
The survivors i can't stand are Jane and Elodie. they just annoy me a lot.
-
I want Reiko. I want another Japanese female survivor 😞
-
In my opinion the design is quite childish and unreliable for DBD "horror", i don't know how to explain it exactly.
FNaF is just not it, it's not scary outside of its own game.
I'd rather choose Slenderman if i can.

That's very loaded language.
"Kill by force"- do you mean they are trying to get someone out of the game, to make their chances of winning better? Or are you implying it's unnatural and immoral for them to be playing in an effective way?
"Play fair and let them escape"- by this do you mean camping and tunneling is not fair? And just because you choose to let others escape does not dictate what others should do. If a killer only has fun via winning, tunneling and camping in the right scenarios are effective. Therefore, they should do these things to allow for then to win. It isn't cheap, underhanded or dirty tactics. Its just them playing efficiently
Overall, this post seems like a heavily biased post, with your post seemingly phrased in what this forum likes to call "survivor main" talk.
My opinion doesn't imply how others are supposed to play.
I'm not trying so hard to win if I play against better players. I may not be as competitive as the players who choose to play in a certain way.
And yes, I'm a survivor main and there are a lot of things I agree with Killer mains. But not when it comes to tunneling and camping.
Fun for both sides comes first for me.

"Practice and get better"
Laughs in skill hard correcting my mistake and Circle of I hate being injured nullifying my injury.
Real pain 😣
-
I'm sorry you're going through a hard time, I wish I could help somehow.
I don't know you but I believe in you! Thanks for this post. Wishing you the best, take care.

I just don't find the original one scary looking, she just looks like a kid with long black hair
Scary animations and fitting music, will change your mind? 😄
-
I think she is scary as she is. I want her to look like a ghost than a rotting girl but maybe we are going to see skins of different versions of her.
-
Yes, unfortunately it still annoys me.
I don't like when the player tries to get a kill by force instead of trying to practice and get better.
When I play as killer, I play fair and let them escape when all the gens are done.
1 or 2k is enough for me. When I get survivors without tunnling them I'm having a blast.
-
Every time when the killer sacrifices me, I blame myself for what I did wrong.
Even during the game when I fail in the chase or couldn't hide properly, I say to myself "I made a mistake here. I could do X and Y instead."
This attitude always helps me get better.
The times I was angry at my teammates was when they didn't know what they were actually doing or using their teammates as bait to let the killer leave them.
People who played with friends and left together without saving me from the hook and more as such.
-
I guess the loss of the license can happen for the reason of disagreement or inability regarding something. Not necessarily because of the release of a new game with the same character.

I used to play killer 95 percent of the time. Completely switched now. Almost always playing survivor.
I hope you are having fun as survivor. Better to avoid Killer games for now.

I too, am a great appreciator of Aftercare. Excellent perk for solo que.
For Killer, it's kind of hard to decide. However, if I had to commit to a favourite, then it'd probably be save the best for last. Not even because it's a good perk (although it definitely is on many killers). I just like it because it's a great feel good perk. Feels super satisfying on many killers to hit and recover almost immediately.
I agree.
-
Respect. i like Pyramid head 👑
-
Killer games are very miserable these days.
I'm curious to know, how often do you play Killer?
I'm not doing Daily because of this, only when i feel like playing.
-
Beautiful artwork.
-
I'm guessing they are about to be between a monstrous creature and a human.
If fire is their power it means the survivors will have something they must use to be healed. I like side objectives.
-
For Survivor; Aftercare.
I used to run Bond but the information is not at its full potential.
With Aftercare we can see each other at all times, they can see if I'm going for the save, working on a gen etc. It's really helpful when one of us need a heal and we have to group up.
Auras on both sides is a really good way to "communicate".
I don't play Killer much and I'm still having the weak perks on them.
-
I got into Iridescent II grade without much effort and I'm not playing sweaty.
I'm happy to go back to the beginning, red grade is not really fun.
-
In my opinion Dead Hard should be used similar to Balanced Landing.
Every perk is usually situational and Dead Hard is working against the killer's lunge.
I would make Dead Hard work against camping. If the survivor got saved from the hook and the killer is about to down them again, Dead Hard will activate, they will move forward to ignore that hit.
-
I'm sad... only survivors can hear her music.
