  • I've done it with MoM and DS, it easy works

Adding more tracking options would be nice, at least when you first activate his power. After you get KI, scratchmarks can disappear, but until you hit someone, I think they should stay.

I think that's the point, it's the problem, Frenzy don't tell anything to the player until the first hit. And the scratchmarks could be nice too when Legion cancel Frenzy

  • Soul Guard alone is the best perk to counter noed, Unbreakable can make a good combo but Soul Guard itself is good.

I use Soul Guard with MoM and For the People it's a great combo

  • Thank you for the cooking advices, I will try it

"Jeffs can be rubbery" - you should remove condom from him before "eating" him.

    What about Nea?

  • I used to be kind killer every games, but now I can't be nice with blendettes, they are soooo delicious, love to it them 😋😋

But I would never, NEVER eat Aces, so I'm nice with them because they don't feel succulent like other survivors.

Neas and Jeffs can be rubbery but with good sauce it can be OK.

  • 360 are definitely not role play, and I don't like them. OK it can save your life and easy to counter has killer. But it's still annoying and it missed most of the time I saw a survivor do it.

I think it's more skillful to just know how to loop.

Let them or cancel them I don't care.

  • The thong was the only reason I wanted to buy this skin...

  • Survivor :

1 - The killer is still very slow vaulting a window or breaking pallet, I would say no.

    2 - I think it's OK, I could see it

3 - It would be game breaking, it's too OP and easy. No. No. No.

    Killer :

Except the second one it's OK.

Yeah I definitely don't want survivors breaking or repairing walls. 1 survivor putting time into changing the state of pallet walls isn't a lot of lost time for the survivors as a whole, but it's a severe detriment to the killer who has to waste time breaking walls just to make the loops bearable, or if those walls aren't there then the house of pain gets to keep its name. It's definitely something that should stay in the killer's hands.

It waste killer time to break walls but I think breakable walls is a very strong mechanic. For example in Silent Hill, if you don't break the walls it's a survivor sided map, if you break the walls it's a killer sided map. But the real question is when should the killer breaks the walls?

Bad survivors will repair the first generator they saw and the killer will chase them very quickly and breaks walls during chases. But good survivors will wait a first killer's patrol to start the Gens, then the killer should just walk around the map and use the first minute of the match to break the walls as he wants the loops to be.

Corrupt intervention is very good to take the time to break some walls you don't want to break during a chase.

In silent hill, when I play killer I know 3 walls I don't want to break during a chase to waste time, and I do it very quickly pretending to patrol Gens. Same in the saloon, the first thing I do is breaking the wall upstair near the window.

On the new Springwood they've nerfed a lot of the disgustingly strong builds (such as every building on Springwood) by giving them breakable walls that close off some entrances and paths. If survivors could break them it would basically bring them back to the super strong position they're in at the moment.

It's clearly a survivor sided comment, we can repair 2 or 3 Gens in the first chase, maybe can we let killers have more chances in loops to reduce chases?

Really? Do you think any surv will use a perk to break a wall? Another trash perk?

I don't understand your comment, I'm against letting survivors being able to break walls.. so..

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1566341#Comment_1566341

My thoughts exactly. Forcing the killer to kick walls is more to the survivors advantage. Why would you want to break a wall that makes a loop super hard for the killer. So why not make it able to somehow block up a wall the killer has kicked? Its more in line with the current use of the perk, or maybe that might be too strong?

I think it could be something. Repairing a breakable wall. I'm against it too but I could see it more than survivors breaking breakable walls.

But I think survivors, with this kind of perk, could repair one breakable wall per games, only one, or it could be too strong.

  • I'm against this idea. Breakable walls are for killer to reduce or extend loops, as they want. It would be too abusive for survivors to break walls.

    From a survivor main.

  • Same for me, lot of fun recently

  • I think both are good, each killers, and each perks are good, it's a hard choice

  • Thanks for all the advices, I will keep trying Legion, I play him just for the bunny outfit so... I don't want to waste my money lol

But it's bad for me because I'm better with Legion when I only use FF to run to Gens than to chase survivors. Sometimes I feel like I can down survivors faster with 2 M1 than FF then M1.

360 are a thing too for Legion, loses a FF because red ranks 360 me... I turned with them but sometimes it missed. Misses a FF is sooooo bad for a Legion.

For my build I use gens regressions perks like thana, dying light etc because I can make injures fast with FF but I think enduring could me better for a Legion, maybe a pallet recover build with the spirit's perk?

  • Rank system is not perfect but it is wayyy better than the new mmr system, it was completely broken and unfair.

Maybe Behaviour could make a system with the two ones? Idk

  • Silent Hill, Hawkins, The Game, Lery, I wish there are more indoors maps, they are the best ones for me

  • @Chatkovski said:

Killers camp because they have so little faith in themselves or have such an accurate appraisal of their deplorable skill that they feel this is the best way to maximize the number of survivors they will kill.

2k minimum while camping, which is balance, is not uncommon. It's viable, so killers do it, when they deserve 0k.

By someone who don't play killer at all, you know sometimes, it's the right choice to camp, it's rare, but sometimes we have to do it

There is a difference between camping and camping

  • I do it when the exit gates are open and can't do anything else

  • Silent Hill, Hawkins and The Game, I looove indoors ones, but nobody understand me..

  • I think Candyman could fit dbd but for me it's just a Freedy-bis, I would prefer Alien or Pennywise

  • Clean the totems, or use Soul Guard and don't

  • I love all of them, the last rift was bad, but this one is good as the rift 2, even better

It sounds like you're the one being selfish talking about how vital it is to your experience

And streamers doing meme builds aren't trying to pretend it's good. No top survivor is gonna recommend that perk over the better choices we have.

If you don't like the perk the way it is, just move on dude... Use something else, MoM is working fine, my last comment because I can't change your mind. Selfish dude.

Apparently me and 99.999% of survivors are bad because MoM is SUPER good according to this one random guy

Do you watch streams and YouTube videos? They are manyyyy ways to use it, you just don't know and we are some players who use it well and don't want a nerf OK?

Don't be selfish and try to be better with this perk, or just move on and don't ruin other players experience pls

  • @Snowbawlzzz said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1498615#Comment_1498615

First it's OP, now it's punishing MoM users

Sorry you're super dedicated to a crappy perk that takes a year to get any use out of

First I though you would like too add the healing system, then I understand you just completely removed the protect hit. So yes...

I activate MoM EVERY games I played with it, you just bad, this perks doesn't need at all a rework it's completely fine the way it is rn.

  • @Snowbawlzzz said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1498602#Comment_1498602

Except it wouldn't function the same way because it's no longer an endurance perk. It would just let you heal yourself back up after taking a default body block. Its essentially just a temporary, faster self-care when you protect your teammates

Yes, your rework suggestion is really bad, don't punish players who loves this perks because you don't know how to use it...

  • @Snowbawlzzz said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1498576#Comment_1498576

What is OP about just taking a bodyblock with no endurance and healing yourself out of the chase?

Because MoM is one of the strongest perks rn, you just dont know how to use it. In my main build I used MoM, and if your change was official, I don't need to bring a medkit, I can use flashlight or whatever and I would be too OP.

I ran : MoM, Breakout, For the people, Soul Guard + medkit with purple add-on

Imagine if I can heal myself without medkit with this kind of build.. I would be invincible... It's not what it's supposed to do

  • I think it's a bad idea, it's too OP.

I think you just don't know how to play with MoM, bring a medkit with the purple add-on, you will see MoM doesn't need a buff at all.

Dude, i have 150 hours. It is HUGE time investment from my side. HUGE, basically i play only 2 games now, beat'emup sometimes and DBD. Game is designed worse than F2P, because in F2P games i could buy progress to save my time, here i buy DLC and i cannot use it without hours of grind. Should i quit my job and farm BP in DBD just to play?

Not everyone is nolife. So loop out of here with this "git gud" attitude. The problem with players nowadays is thinking, everyone should have 10000 hours to waste just because they have so much free time. One day you will have a job kiddo, maybe even your own kid if cybersex will be already invented, then you will understand.

Dude 150hours is nothing! I'm casual player and I know 150hours is not enough to get better, in EVERY video game

I hope you did not think I was implying that you, specifically, were a tryharder. That was not the intention.

I agree, the game takes time to improve, but that is harder and harder with the increase in toxic playstyles and the 1k+ hour players trying to feed on new players. This game should be swarmed with players because the base concept of it is an absolute blast. I can honestly say that there are few games more fun when one of the following occurs:

    1. A really good killer keeps me and the other survivors off-balance and on the run during a match. He seems to always pop up where we are, mind games well, and ultimately destroys all or most of us. The match was tense, filled with engagement with the killer and likely has plenty of BP for all
    2. A silly killer is meme'ing. I've seen some absolutely hilarious killers toy around in this game. Had a GF who was total creeper and could come out of nowhere. We had "Drive-Thru" Bubba who loved to stand at windows and act stupid. Jiggly clown who would dance around when he downed someone. Superstitious Billy was my favorite though. He would not cross through doorways unless one of us walked him through it, then he'd resume chase. My God, it was the funniest match I've ever had. We refused to leave at the end, even though he was trying to let us go. Greedy Hag was fun too. Ran Franklin's and when she knocked something out of your hand, she defended it with a vengeance. We eventually stopped doing gens and focused on getting the map off the ground. She 4k'd, but it was so much fun!
    3. A group of survivors meme'ing around. 4 DK's who all brought Healing Kits. They kept trading the healing kits back and forth. We half-heartedly played, but when I'd get them cornered, they'd offer their healing kid. The Baby David was given hatch.
    4. A good group of survivors that make me step up my game without getting all toxic. I had one of those last night with my Freddy match. It was a lot of fun and we actually had great conversation afterwards (I know, hard to believe).

Unfortunately, these are maybe 1 in 25 or 1 in 30 match scenarios. Many matches are with unimaginative hardcore players who seem to think their entire life depends on crushing their enemies, seeing them driven before them, and hearing the lamentation of the women.

English is not my first language it's maybe why I though you was saying that, but anyway don't worry, if you had say that I wasnt offended.

Back to the subject ; I think a competitive mode could be the solution. You can't pkay in competitive mode until you are devotion 1 maybe?

The old players who wants hard games can go in this mode, with a real rank system, and the new players go in the normal mode.

Like.. Many games did that and it works

My main point of contention is with your statement that the problem is with the new generation of gamers. As I said in my post, I think the main problems are in game design and how the game is advertised. The game attracts horror fans and sells itself in many ways as a fun, jump-scare, almost casual party game but turns out to be a hardcore toxic fight-fest.

The problem is with the current generation of gamers that can't take a step back and say, hey, these guys I'm facing are obviously not too good, I'll take the foot off the pedal and try to have some fun here. There is zero, I mean zero, sportsmanship in this current generation of gamer. The old-school guys still remember what it was like to act like an oppressive arse while playing a game in front of another person. It often ended with a fat lip and no friends. They tend to play games with those lessons in mind. This current generation grew up behind a monitor and have no empathy or concept of casual gameplay.

Don't blame people for wanting a more laidback experience in a game that comes off as a fun jump-scare party game. This is not Call of Duty. If someone goes into Call of Duty expecting casual and fun gameplay, they are delusional.

I agree but I'm not a tryharder, I was in the past, when I had more time to play, now I'm a casual player because I'm older. But I know that I can't be good with few hours, it's the same in every game, time = skill

  • The problem is not the game, but the players nowadays, everybody wants to be good without hours of playing.

When I started dbd it was late 2018, the game wasn't new, I played with good players and I was with my Claudette with only one perk. Now I'm red ranks. I started by hiding in lockers, now I know how to loop.

The new matchmaking is coming soon, but I can guaranteer you that new players still won't stay. Some of them will, the one who loves to train and be better players, but 3/4 of them, the ones who just cares about winning (like the new generation of gamers) will not stay.

The problem is : the new generation of gamers.

Like...even if you don't know what every single perk does, there's a nice little list of all the perks we have equipped at the end of the game. Maybe take a peek at that list before accusing people of cheating :D

Yeah I told the killer to read my perks but he stills thinks I'm a hacker.... Sould Guard is just a better Unbreakable

  • I'm new to Legion too, I never lost a match with him, no matter what, if I'm doing wrong, with my thana+dying light, the gens are soooo long to compete.

Legion is really strong with the good perks and add-ons, I use the one who make feral frenzy longer, I can hit 3 or 4 survivor easily and activate my perks. Then you just have to M1.

I think it's a realllly strong killer, like the Oni, you have to hurt survivor once, then you can godmode them and end a match soo quickly.

For me Legion is a B+ tier killer.

  • It would be so cool to be allowed to choose the background screen, I'm for it too, I love the silent hill one

in a normal match, if 1 killer hard camps and tunnels 1 survivor, he gets 1/4 at best, survivors shouldn't worry that much right? except that tunneling and camping are the most bitched on topics of this forum.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1447659#Comment_1447659

wouldn't change anything, the other killer can simply follow the survivor, since he doesn't get slowed nor stunned, and then down him.

In my suggestion it's one GIANT map, if both killers focus one survivor they can't win because the time to travel to point A to point B on this map
